you know how in 5.13 arthurs like “i tried to take your head off with a mace” and merlins like “and i stopped you, using magic” and arthurs immediate reply to that is “you cheated” … and i guess i was just thinking about the breathy little laugh merlin lets out in response to that. bc like i just noticed how maybe it was a little bit of relief and awe. because like. he just talked to arthur. about magic. about using magic From The Beginning. against him in a fight. and arthurs immediate response, his most natural reaction to that, was to comment on merlins poor sportsmanship. out of anything he couldve said something about. the first thing that came to mind was merlin not playing fair. which. idk. idk how exactly to word this entirely but if i had one criticism of the glory it'd be that i rly wish yeo-jeong's unhingedness was leaned into more instead of making him a walking pile of the worst romance tropes.

like the moments where he gets to go a little bit apeshit are some of the best parts of the show (imo). & i REALLY wish we got more of that instead of. what we did get, u know?

idk i feel like it was a missed opportunity & for a show that deals with exploring trauma so well in its main character, i feel like her love interest & his complex trauma & the v real & complex ways he handles it were kinda sacked.

I'm sorry I can't watch the new trigun and I never will. it looks so ugly. the vibe is no where near the same and it takes away 90% of the charm of the original and makes it into something totally different. I feel like theyre giving it the sports anime treatment where they're banking on twinkification selling lots. like a yaoi head trap.

#sorry i remembered hidden inventory arc n im insane about them again :(( SAD LITTLE GAY PEOPLE IN MY PHONE!!!#nah but it just...OUGHHH they make me so upset!!!#its just they way they start out immediately understanding each other bc gojo has been alone on a pedestal basically his entire life+#but then he meets geto who treats him like a normal dude!!! not a weapon!!! and just watching them annoy each other as normal teens +#makes me emotional bc theres so much cruelty and just DEATH in their world but at the least they have each other to get through it!!!#theyre the strongest together after all right!!! then toji happens and gojo starts to perfect his abilities with him automating infinity #and then the gap between the two just gets wider and wider...until the final confrontation where the one who understood gojo all this time #not only leaves him but calls him arrogant at the same time showing gojo the ONLY person who he though understood just..doesnt+#and hes left alone again in the same place he was years ago...AND OUGHHHHH #idk i watched a video analysis of hidden inventory where the guy said geto was just as egotistical as gojo except in having a savior comple #and tbh i never though of that before!! but looking back it makes sense with how he spoke to riko + the way he slaughtered the whole villag #to not just save the girls but also prove to himself that he could make the world he wanted #the guy in the video put it basically that since the gap between gojo and geto was so wide geto would rather be the best villain+#than second best hero and that makes a lot of sense since his ideals/goals as a villain go against his usual rational behavior #he KNOWS its probably impossible (for him at least it wouldnt be for gojo which he admits) but he has to do it for himself #sorry im rambling but AHHHHHH how tf did gege write this??? its such a small part of the story but its arguably the catalyst for everything #aside from plot wise it simply just is impactful emotionally! gege had to go thru a toxic codependent homoerotic friendship to write this+#theres just no other way #jjk #jujustu kaisen #gojo satoru #geto suguru #satosugu

#saw series #saw franchise #amanda young #the biggest example of when i was really heated #was that trap from i believe saw v #where they had to collectively drain a certain volume of blood to unlock the trap #and i was like 'oh okay well a lot of blood will come out from just the wrists so they really only need to lose a hand #and then the one woman just shoved her entire arm through the saw i was like.#mm.#okay #oh also the one where the key go the bear trap was behind his eye and he Just couldn't do it #especially as a half blind person that was infuriating to watch akdkdk #like you are FULLY SIGHTED. you can lose one of those fuckers #not to mention the very good chance he could save that eye anyway like #he didn't need to use the knife at all. just pop it out with your finger #like idk man if the key was behind my blind eye I'd pop that sucker out immediately #definitely beats over 20 nails sinking into your face #was definitely screaming at the tv for both of those traps #like probably more than when im watching sports tbh

I got my first mp3 player when I was 13. I still have it. It came with 100 free downloads from a site that probably doesn't exist anymore. I downloaded 100 songs, and listened to them nonstop for two weeks. On day 15, every one of those songs "expired", and were no longer playable. That experience has been in the back of my mind ever since, and that's why I have refused to pay for anything digital (with a couple of notable exceptions), and every bit of media I purchase is a physical disc.

#im watching people learn the lesson i learned when i eas 13 #but at much greater cost #because i didnt buy a whole season of a tv show #or an entire itunes playlist #for it to cease to exist some time later #i just had to re download those songs from youtube #the notable exceptions are steam games where #the discs are too old to be compatible with my computers #and the entire game with expansions and everything costs less than $2 #and tbh i still pick those up at thrift stores when i find them #but yeah i dont ever buy movies music or books in digital form
