NAME. :: Ash or Ashheart. I'm fine with either, but Ash is preferred. :)
PRONOUNS. :: She & Her are my pronouns.
PREFERRED COMMS. :: Either tumblr IMS or Discord. I only give my Discord info out to mutuals I've chatted with in IMS before though. And I won't accept friend requests over there from strangers.
NAME OF MUSE :: On this blog :: Haruhi Fujioka. But I also have multiple ocs :: Lenny Grayson(@lcnnypooh), Annaleigh Lancaster(@rageagaiinst), Jillian Nakamura(@hclyfvckcd), Prudence(@sunshinebled), Eden Crawford(@crwfrds), & Claudia von Schroeder(@claudiasofschroeder). And I have two canons :: Tara "Terra" Markov(@dontlosecontrol) & Kisara Itoh - a modern au Kisara from yugioh(@eyescfblue).
EXPERIANCE IN RP :: I've been a roleplayer since 2011. I started writing on tumblr in 2017.
BEST EXPERIENCES :: One of my best experiences is all of the friendships I've made throughout my years as a roleplayer. It's sad when friends go, but new ones are always around the corner. I love all of the relationships my muses have had as well.
PET PEEVES / DEAL BREAKERS :: There's nothing I can think of in terms of pet peeves at the moment. But deal breakers on the other hand? Anyone who causes drama or sends anon hate are not the kind of people I want to associate with
MUSE PREFERENCE (FLUFF, SMUT, ANGST.) :: Haruhi would probably prefer fluff. While, I love both fluff and angst. I've never written smut, so it's not going to be done on this blog.
PLOT OR MEMES :: Give me both! I love having memes tossed into my inbox and I also enjoy plotting out stories with my friends. I also love just winging it too.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES :: I do both! It depends on how my muse is and what I have to work with on my response.
BEST TIME TO WRITE :: I tend to be active on tumblr late at night. My sleep schedule is all over the place. XD And I usually watch twitch streams in the evenings. After that I hop onto my pc and write or work on edits / graphics. Or I'll play a game instead.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE? :: I feel like Haruhi and I are somewhat similar. We both wear glasses - for starters. And in my opinion, she seems shy and a bit awkward, which is relatable to me because I am too.
Lenny is my muse that I relate to the most though. I've taken some aspects of myself and gave them to Lenny. Like for example we're both shy/awkward and we're kind people. We both love cats, reading, art, and video games.
tagged by :: @drinkitfrommymouthsuou (thanks friend!)
tagging :: @diverse-hearts, @aspiringroleplays, @blue-eyed-kaiba, @hcpemikaelscn, & anyone else who wants to do this can say I tagged them. :) If you've already done this meme, you don't have to do this again, I just wanted to tag you all because I was curious.

The Sunnydale Herald Newsletter, Saturday, September 17th
ANGEL: Uhm, ah, I-I got you a, a little something. CORDELIA: (takes it) Oh, Angel, you didn't have to do that. You have enough to take care of as it is. ANGEL: Well, I'm a champion. (Chuckles) We do important stuff. Hey, I mean who's more important than... WESLEY: You have to forgive the wrapping. Some of us seem to have fostered a strange addiction to Scotch tape.

Life Within a Family
There are no new releases this week as most of us are getting ready for Thanksgiving and being with our families, I thought I'd focus on families in YA. The good, the bad, the ugly, all the craziness that comes with the word "family." I asked our contributors to share with me some of their fav books where the family is clearly involved in the MC's life and I'd say we came up with a good list.
Lucy & Linh by Alice Pung
Laurinda is an exclusive school for girls. At its hidden centre of power is The Cabinet, a triangle of girls who wield power over their classmates – and some of their teachers. Entering this world of wealth and secrets is Lucy Lam, a scholarship girl with sharp eyes and a shaky sense of self. As she watches The Cabinet in action, and is courted by them – as she learns about power and repression – Lucy finds herself in a battle for her identity and integrity.
With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo
With her daughter to care for and her abuela to help support, high school senior Emoni Santiago has to make the tough decisions, and do what must be done. The one place she can let her responsibilities go is in the kitchen, where she adds a little something magical to everything she cooks, turning her food into straight-up goodness. Still, she knows she doesn’t have enough time for her school’s new culinary arts class, doesn’t have the money for the class’s trip to Spain — and shouldn’t still be dreaming of someday working in a real kitchen. But even with all the rules she has for her life — and all the rules everyone expects her to play by — once Emoni starts cooking, her only real choice is to let her talent break free.
You Bring The Distant Near by Mitali Perkins
Five girls. Three generations. One great American love story. Ranee, worried that her children are losing their Indian culture; Sonia, wrapped up in a forbidden biracial love affair; Tara, seeking the limelight to hide her true self; Shanti, desperately trying to make peace in the family; Anna, fighting to preserve her Bengali identity.
Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds
Jack Ellison King. King of Almost. He almost made valedictorian. He almost made varsity. He almost got the girl . . . When Jack and Kate meet at a party, bonding until sunrise over their mutual love of Froot Loops and their favorite flicks, Jack knows he’s falling—hard. Soon she’s meeting his best friends, Jillian and Franny, and Kate wins them over as easily as she did Jack. Jack’s curse of almost is finally over. But this love story is . . . complicated. It is an almost happily ever after. Because Kate dies. And their story should end there. Yet Kate’s death sends Jack back to the beginning, the moment they first meet, and Kate’s there again. Beautiful, radiant Kate. Healthy, happy, and charming as ever. Jack isn’t sure if he’s losing his mind. Still, if he has a chance to prevent Kate’s death, he’ll take it. Even if that means believing in time travel. However, Jack will learn that his actions are not without consequences. And when one choice turns deadly for someone else close to him, he has to figure out what he’s willing to do—and let go—to save the people he loves.
The Revolution of Birdie Randolph by Brandi Colbert
Dove "Birdie" Randolph works hard to be the perfect daughter and follow the path her parents have laid out for her: She quit playing her beloved soccer, she keeps her nose buried in textbooks, and she's on track to finish high school at the top of her class. But then Birdie falls hard for Booker, a sweet boy with a troubled past...whom she knows her parents will never approve of. When her estranged aunt Carlene returns to Chicago and moves into the family's apartment above their hair salon, Birdie notices the tension building at home. Carlene is sweet, friendly, and open-minded--she's also spent decades in and out of treatment facilities for addiction. As Birdie becomes closer to both Booker and Carlene, she yearns to spread her wings. But when long-buried secrets rise to the surface, everything she's known to be true is turned upside down.
Patron Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay
A powerful coming-of-age story about grief, guilt, and the risks a Filipino-American teenager takes to uncover the truth about his cousin's murder. Jay Reguero plans to spend the last semester of his senior year playing video games before heading to the University of Michigan in the fall. But when he discovers that his Filipino cousin Jun was murdered as part of President Duterte's war on drugs, and no one in the family wants to talk about what happened, Jay travels to the Philippines to find out the real story. Hoping to uncover more about Jun and the events that led to his death, Jay is forced to reckon with the many sides of his cousin before he can face the whole horrible truth -- and the part he played in it.

List of ASC Original Characters
Question from fanfiction.net from DetroitNate -- Thanks for this story, it is one of my top five hands down. Also, I agree with you about blvnk, that has always been how I've seen Harry and Ginny. Thanks for a refresher course on Zee's parents sometimes it is difficult to remember who is who, which brings up another questionis there somewhere that I could see a list of your OCs, kind of like your brief explanation of Misha and Sorcha? Either thanks for the story it continues to be wonderful.

The Silver Garbage Awards: Worst of the Decade
Like with the Bryan Awards, I went back and picked my worst of the decade.  Please note, the nominees were nominated as the way they were placed when I originally did these awards.  Apologies in advance to anyone that may be offended by certain category placements.
- Eligibility Period is January 1, 2010 to May 31, 2019; which means anything that aired over the Summer or Fall is ineligible. - Sharknado is being entered for ALL of their movies as one. - Lead and Supporting Actor and Actress will be regardless of Comedy and Drama, and if an actor was nominated for multiple shows in that category, they will be nominated for ALL of the shows in that category over the course of the last ten years. - “Winners” will be announced by Friday, as I pick the “Bottom 2″.
And the Unlucky Nominees Are (I archived everything this decade, unlike the 2000s, where a few years suddenly disappeared off the face of the Earth due to the technology I had back then)...

TALES OF THE TEEN TITANS #51-55 MARCH - JULY 1985 BY MARV WOLFMAN, RICH BUCKLER, RON RANDALL, BOB SMITH, DICK GIORDANO, MIKE DECARLO AND ADRIENNE ROY
SYNOPSIS (FROM DC DATABASE)
The Teen Titans, aided by Lilith, defeat a gang of gun-runners in the employ of President Marlo of Qurac. The next day, Marlo hires Cheshire, who abducts Adeline Wilson, Jericho's mother, a former agent of his who had stolen information on the military strength of Kyran, a bordering nation which he intends to invade. Meanwhile, Pentagon officials inform Nightwing that Joe and Adeline Wilson are wanted for questioning by Interpol. When Nightwing tells Changeling of this, Gar, already suspicious of Joe, attempts to arrest him. Jericho, anxious to pursue his mother's kidnapper and unable to make Changeling listen, defeats Gar and escapes. At the same time, STAR scientists discover an alien spaceship and its pilot frozen in the ice in Alaska.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While President Marlo arranges to replace the arms lost when his gunrunners were apprehended, Jericho travels to Qurac with one of his mother's agents, a young woman named Amber, to rescue Adeline. Over Changeling's protests, the Titans agree not to intervene in the matter. Alerted by Lilith's precognition, they go instead to STAR Labs, where an explosion frees the cryogenically preserved alien, a winged man who instantly becomes enamored of Lilith. In Qurac, Jericho and Amber are taken captive and reunited with Adeline in a prison cell. Jericho uses his powers to help them get free and to defeat Cheshire. Cheshire and Marlo then escape when Joe chooses not to pursue them in order to save Marlo's purloined art collection from being destroyed by a grenade.
Tumblr media
Donna and Terry Long return from their honeymoon, even as Lilith is attacked outside Titans Tower by someone claiming to be the Terminator. Lilith and the Titans then return to STAR Labs, where the precognitive Titan inexplicably begins to radiate heat and frees the amnesiac winged alien from the testing equipment of the resident scientists. Holding off her teammates with her new powers, Lilith allows the extraterrestrial to escape. The Titans, believing the alien responsible for Lilith's powers and strange behavior, fruitlessly pursue him through the city in a hectic chase until he unaccountably vanishes from sight. The young heroes then join Gar Logan and Jillian Jackson at the trial of Slade Wilson, the Terminator, which is being presided over by newly appointed judge Adrian Chase (formerly the Vigilante).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At Slade Wilson's trial, when it begins to appear as if the Terminator will escape punishment for his crimes, Changeling uses his shape-changing powers to attack Wilson. Subdued by his teammates, Gar Logan is ordered from the courtroom by Judge Adrian Chase. The Teen Titans suspect that someone is posing as the Terminator to make it appear as if the costumed mercenary and Slade Wilson are not one and the same, so they arrange a meeting with Wilson's associate, Wintergreen, only to be attacked by the Terminator impersonator. Unfortunately, the ersatz Terminator manages to escape before he can be apprehended. At the same time, unknown to the other Titans, Cyborg returns to STAR Labs where preparations are underway to replace his metal body parts with flesh-colored plastic, thus restoring his human appearance. After appearing as a witness at the trial, Lilith privately reveals to the Titans that she had experienced her unexplained heal powers on previous occasions and that they were not caused by the proximity of the winged alien. Angered at the Titans' unyielding pursuit of the extra-terrestrial, she leaves the group. Back in court, Judge Chase determines that while there is insufficient evidence that Slade Wilson is the Terminator to warrant a full jury trial for his kidnapping of stock-broker Samuel Abrams, Wilson will nonetheless be sentenced to a year in prison for illegal possession of firearms. Changeling is dismayed at this verdict: he had used Steve Dayton's Mento Helmet to masquerade as the Terminator in hopes that Wilson would he set free, so that Gar could kill him for his involvement with Terra.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Changeling rejects the attempts of his teammates to talk about the Terminator's trial, and returns home to find that, due to his behavior in court, Steve Dayton is angry with him and Jillian's father has forbidden her to associate with him. In prison, Slade Wilson arranges through Wintergreen to learn that his ex-wife and son have been cleared of charges by Interpol and to have his jail sentence suspended.
Before he can be released, however, he is attacked a night in his cell by a maddened Changeling. When their skirmish takes them into the prison yard, Changeling breaks off the fight, promising to return. The next day, he arranges to meet the Terminator in a battle to the death. The mercenary derails Gar's plans by appearing at the arranged site as Slade Wilson, rather than in costume as the Terminator, and by refusing to fight back.
Tumblr media
Unable to bring himself to murder an unresistant opponent, Changeling reluctantly agrees to talk with his enemy instead. Wilson relates how he first encountered Tara Markov when she undertook an assignment he had refused: the murder of African tribal leader King Tawaha, who had taken care of Gar after the deaths of his parents years before. Later, the Terminator took Terra in as a partner, but quickly discovered that the girl was an incurable psychopath.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wilson also asserts that his son Joseph is innocent of involvement in any criminal actions. Changeling finds himself believing Wilson's statements despite his earlier convictions to the contrary.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their conversation over, he allows Wilson to leave without trying to stop him.
REVIEW
This arc started in a very common way. Nothing seemed to be too different. But it ended with something amazing (that I am amazed doesn’t happen that often). Seeing how the climax of this big battle is two enemies drinking coffee, heart to heart. Wow. I can now understand why Deathstroke is such a popular character.
And that talk was also a stepping stone for Gar. Perhaps now he will grow up a little bit and leave all his anger behind.
We also get other important happenings. The first appearance of Qurac (and President Marlo), Azrael (not THAT Azrael) and Cheshire reveals she had a baby with a titan.
Lilith’s story will continue in the other Titans volume... which was coming out around the same time. I am not sure how these titles were coordinated, but it’s driving me crazy just to figure out how they are supposed to be read.
I think that what really makes this story memorable is the last issue. I was expecting an all-fight issue where nobody wins. Everyone won, in a way.
I give this story a score of 9

Reflections on books in 2018
As the year draws to a close, I feel like I’m in such a reflective state. One of the best things that I did this year was to start reading for pleasure again. Since officially becoming a PhD candidate (woot), I have some time on my hands to pursue things that I really like. One of which is reading anything other than dry primary literature all day. I challenged myself to read 52 books this year, one per week. I exceeded this goal by September, and then challenged myself to read genres that I don’t normally read. With just a few days left in the year, and a just 6 unread books on my kindle bookshelf, I found myself pondering what books were the best and wondering if my taste in literature has changed at all.
My conclusion? I have a new favorite book (They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera), and apparently really enjoyed books that had LGBTQ representation. In fact, in #twentygayteen I read books that had representation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer individuals. I’m pretty pumped about that because that wasn’t even my goal, but it seems like authors are trying to make their characters more representative of the people who read.
See my favorites from my reading list this year with LGBTQ reads bolded:

The high priestess represents profound wisdom, intuition, the ability to navigate hidden realms, the deep connection to the subconscious mind and the exploration of the mysterious realms of the human psyche. Just as the high priestess taps into her intuitive powers to access hidden truths, cockroaches rely on their heightened sensory perception to navigate dark and hidden spaces. They possess an uncanny ability to detect subtle changes in their environment and swiftly adapt to survive. They are a reminder to trust our intuition, tap into our inner wisdom, embrace the depths of our subconscious to overcome obstacles in our own lives and confront any shadows or unresolved issues within ourselves.

Ang DBTI ay nagaalok ng apat na departmento: Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) Strand; Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Strand; at Arts and Design Track.

‘See you sa school bukas!’ Don Bosco Technical Institute – Makati. “Ano line-up natin?”
“Ah! Sige, salamat!” “Gurl! Daming tao ha.” Bungad sakanya. “Grabe Anya! Nag-enjoy ako sobra! Thank you sa pag-invite! Una na kami! Bye!” ‘Mag handa bukas! Ipapanalo natin lahat!’ Napangiti si Anya at napaisip, “Hindi pa tapos.”

Summertime is a good time for the adventurous New York theatergoer, and the broke New York theatergoer. Summer theater festivals present shows that are usually cheaper (often free), and more cutting-edge than standard fare during the regular theater season. It can also be a challenge to navigate through some of the larger festivals
Below is a list of a dozen New York summer theater (or arts)  festivals arranged more or less chronologically by the month in which each begins. (Several continue through the summer.) Some of these festivals have been around for decades; others are newly listed.  A couple of long-time favorites no longer exist, at least not during the summer months (The New York International Fringe Festival moved to October.)
Click on the festival titles below to be taken to their websites. It’s a good idea to check out their Twitter feeds as well. Keep in mind that some of the festivals are still putting together their programming; this guide will be updated as the summer progresses.
MAY
Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks
Begun in 1996, this festival has consistently offered three new quality, cutting-edge plays each summer. This  is the 24th annual Summerworks. @ClubbedThumb
LUNCH BUNCH
written by Sarah Einspanier directed by Tara Ahmadinejad
May 17 – May 28, 2019
Seven public defenders on a quest for crumbs of joy.
YOU NEVER TOUCHED THE DIRT
written by Zhu Yi directed by Ken Rus Schmoll
June 3 – June 13, 2019
The Lis, the Zhaos, the ghosts and the animals engage in a land feud.
KING PHILIP’S HEAD IS STILL ON THAT PIKE JUST DOWN THE ROAD
written by Daniel Glenn directed by Caitlin Ryan O’Connellv
June 19 – June 29, 2019
The councilmen of Plymouth Colony determine how to be Good in the New World.
New York Public Theater Shakespeare in the Park
Joseph Papp began Free Shakespeare in the Park in 1962 in Central Park’s Delacorte Theater, which was built for that purpose. The two-play summer season usually only offers Shakespeare, but occasionally there will be something modern — Hair in 2008, Sondheim’s Into The Woods in 2012. This year’s adaptation of a Disney animated movie is unusual.
Twitter: @PublicTheaterNY
Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Kenny Leon, featuring Danielle Brooks and Chuck Cooper, May 21 – June 23.
Coriolanus, directed by Daniel Sullivan, July 16 to August 11.
Hercules, directed by Lear deBessonet, is an adaptation of the Disney animated film, with the film’s score, plus additional original songs by the film’s composer Alan Menken and lyricist David Zippel, a new book by Kristoffer Diaz and choreography by Chase Brock. August 31 to September 8.
LES
The 24th annual Lower East Side Festival of the Arts is a marathon three days of free Theater, Music, Dance, Comedy, Performance Art, Poetry, Film and Fine Arts in and around the Theater for a New City, May 24-26.
JUNE
Ant Fest
Started by Ars Nova (most celebrated recently for originating Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Ant Fest offers one new show a day for four weeks, 28 in all. The acclaimed shows Rags Parkland and Underground Railroad Game both began at Ant Fest.  June 3 to 27. Twitter: @arsnova
The first show of the 12th annual festival, on June 3rd, will be A People’s History of Silicon Valley, described as “a synth-pop send-up of techno-utopianism and startup bros.”
The festival will feature the ANT Fest Lounge Series — “intimate, pop-up encounters with ANT Fest Alums, debuting fresh ideas and new sounds”:Michelle J. Rodriguez (June 7), Deepali Gupta (June 12), Jillian Walker (June 18) and Starr Busby & Jerome Ellis (June 24).
  River to River Festival
Held in parks, public plazas, office buildings, piers and streets throughout the downtown business district, this festival has only a handful of what can be called strictly theater pieces, but the hybrids are worth exploring, and all events are free. The 18th annual festival runs from June 18 to June 29.
This year’s offerings, the first to be curated by first to be curated by Lili Chopra, generally reflect an avant-garde performance art aesthetic. Yoko Ono is the most prominent participant.
The Reflection Project with Yoko Ono features the artist’s iconic text works installed across Lower Manhattan on the screens of Fulton Transit Center, posters on bus shelters and in vacant storefront windows.
Add Color (Refugee Boat) (1960/2019) is presented by Yoko Ono in the Seaport District. The interactive installation contains a lifeboat in an empty space, inviting the public to paint their thoughts, ideas and hopes on the walls, floor and boat.
On June 20th, NIC Kay will perform “pushit!!”, described “a site-responsive performance,” in locations throughout Tribeca.
She NYC
The fourth annual She NYC Summer Theater Festival, which will run June 19-30 in the Connelly Theater, presents eight plays and musicals, all written by women playwrights and composers, including Beautiful Pasadena, the story of a marriage in crisis at the start of the economic collapse in 2008; Dancing Girl, a retelling of Victor Hugo’s “Notre-Dame de Paris,” and Exposed, about a college freshman who moonlights in adult films to pay for her tuition and is forced to defend her choice when her secret is discovered.
Ice Factory Festival
The 26th anniversary season of the New Ohio Theater’s OBIE Award-winning summer festival of new work will run from June 26 to August 10th. The program of plays has not yet been released. Twitter: @newohiotheatre
JULY
  New York Musical Festival
Some 300 new musicals have premiered at this festival (originally named the New York Musical Theater Festival) since 2004, including “Next to Normal,” “Altar Boyz” and “title of show”
Twitter: @nymf
This year’s festival runs July 8 to August 4, and features a dozen full productions, including Till, a musical telling the true story of Mamie Till and her son Emmett, a black teenager who in 1955 was murdered  for looking at a white girl. There are also ten staged readings and six concerts.
  Corkscrew Festival
In its third year, the festival will present eight productions and four (free) staged readings by “early-career artists” from July 10th to August 3rd at Paradise Factory. Among the productions are four workshops riffing on well-known works of art or artists — “A Doll’s House: A New Opera”; “Hootenanny Twelfth Night”; “Walt Whitman BodyJolt™” (“an audience participatory exercise class led by Walt Whitman”);  and “Stone” (“a collaborative play inspired by Leslie Feinberg’s novel Stone Butch Blues”)
