I do not want to hate men in a way that leans into transmisogyny or ignores how men of color are harmed by harmful gender stereotypes. But this month has made me really really hate men. Oh bell hooks we are really in it now!

#I broke up with my shitty partner this month and then I stayed with my sister in nyc for a week bc being in my house depresses even me even #when I’m not going through a break up loll #and like I explored the whole city by myself and like the only times I felt genuinely unsafe were when this record store employee kept #trying to get me to look at CDs behind the counter and told me to stay and hang out and tried to get me to take off my mask #bc he wanted to see my face and then the time I went to my sister’s friends party #and I was already falling asleep bc I wasn’t used to the time change and this guy wouldn’t stop trying to talk to me #and he put his hand on my knee as he got up from the couch and I was just so grossed out by him the entire time #personal #everyone’s says cities are unsafe but unhoused ppl and public transit don’t make me feel unsafe shitty creepy men make me feel unsafe lmao

Crazy how in TV shows movies and books women can put on guys clothes and maybe cut their hair and everyone's like "yeah that's a dude" but I have to jump through hoops for people to not see me as a woman. SMH it was way easier to commit identity fraud in the middle ages

Cozy rooms can be a double edged sword cuz one hand it is my sanctuary but on the other hand it relaxes me so much I never wanna move unless necessary

#making your room into your sanctuary takes some serious time and I’ve been here for almost a year now #and rn it’s just me trying to donate more clothes that I never bought but ended up in my room cuz I don’t need them #and so I can get rid of the dressers cuz I hate having so many bits of furniture I don’t want #but at least my grandma wants to empty tf out the garage so I can get some of my stuff that got chucked in there #😭😭 I’ll finally be able to use my rengoku and Tengen mugs again #and I can even reach the 4 candles I know someone stuck in the garage when I left them in my room #ooo and I can find the vinyls and maybe hit up a thrift store to see if anyone’s donated a record player #but that’ll probably come after I get myself a dvd player and a stand to prop my tv on #cuz for some reason my tv has this little ball sack of a recover point that juts out under the tv #and I don’t think any dvd player will fit with that thing in the way #but yeah she wants to empty the garage and I want to get rid of shit too so we’re gonna be having a garage sale soon I hope #and I even suspect that someone threw my kpop posters in the garage too but most of them were in the tube except maybe 1 or 2 #so I think they’d be safe for the most part but if not I’m gonna be mad that they got ruined when people know how easy it is to ruin posters

#i have never had a computer this nice lmao #i'm constantly so used to automatically assuming i Can't Do Most Things bc most of the time i'm barred from Everything #either by physical skill or money or age or location #so when i got a Nice Computer my brain was like STUFF I CAN DO?????????? STUFF I CAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!!#and just. downloaded all the games i haven't been able to play bc my laptop sucks ass #the dopamine rush. lmao #i can actually play skyrim again for the first time since i was 17 😭#genuinely getting this computer has given me the exact same feeling as finally getting my wheelchair #just the fucking sheer joy of *oh my fucking god i have freedom now. i can actually DO STUFF*#seriously being able to use the wheelchair has made me so fucking happy i don't feel awful when going to the store i can actually THINK #bc i dont have brain fog from having to focus all of my energy on staying upright #and the computer is giving me the same feeling of freedom like. i can actually DO STUFF with my computer and not worry about it crashing #i can record video now!!!! I COULD START STREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#i can actually learn to code because the coding programs will run!!!!!! i can start making datapacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!#can PLAY THE GAMES I'VE BOUGHT OVER THE YEARS FINALLY #FUCKING THANK YOU STEAM FOR LETTING ME KEEP THESE GAMES UNTIL I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY THEM #INSTEAD OF BEING A SHITASS STREAMING SERVICE THAT TAKES AWAY YOUR PRODUCT *AND* MONEY WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT #like i bought assassins creed odyssey the year it came out and i've never even been able to OPEN it on any of my old computers #i bought Jusant recently because it looks very pretty but the game wouldn't let me download it on my laptop bc the graphics card was shit #i have a bunch of games that I've just hoarded on my steam account for years and now i can finally play them #i can get back to subnautica too!!!! and finally finish out we happy few!!!#anyway im gonna go continue to be insane about this machine i love computers theyre so fun

had a nightmare where my dad and i were stalked by the ghost of a serial killer called "bonny john" aubrey

#did we die? not sure. debatable.#i'm like dad all the locals are saying that bonny john's coming out tonight. we should leave #and he's like ok [does everything so it takes the longest time possible]#all the lights on the street we're walking on go out at once. he sees no reason to get to the van any faster #the van starts by itself before we even get there. he's like welp hop in #nope we're going to this house to try and ask for help. the van starts making unnatural sounds when we cross the street.#there's definitely a figure back there. i think it has a chef's knife.#nobody's answering the door. we go around to the back yard just to put more distance between us #and suddenly the brightest lights are shining out the back windows. there's a man standing at the corner of the house.#someone is screaming. or roaring. the windows shatter. there's a paper-white face in front of me.#the only thing i remember after that is watching a cat jump out of a broken window and run off into the night #so yeah i probably died but idk #bonny john also had his own folk song. i heard it on a record player in an old thrift store where somebody told me to watch out for him #i can't remember the tune or anything but it was a good song #cornelis appears nonetheless!
