Game Talk

so i have some games i want to work on. ofc im the one who made 'surviving the bad sanses' and 'the taste of purple'. but those r just fangames. i want to make games of my ocs and have them cost money. the first one will be around $5. 3 of them have to do with 'girls of black magic' a story ive been working on since 2014.

1st game will be a full visual novel where ur with kylie and maya and try to kill this person in an abandoned mall.

2nd is detention on halloween where its a rpg maker (idk if ill use that exact program) game where ur in detention on halloween ofc. since kylie kills ppl u can kill someone. the school is decorated for halloween for the kids who dont want to or cant trick or treat, so its like a haunted school. u can trick and throw ppl into lockers. so kinda like the old ps2 game 'bully' (i loved it as a kid) so yeah i got the idea in 2020

3rd is the main game for 'girls of black magic'. itll be chapter based and an rpg maker style. itll take place in september-november. i was going to make this into a comic for the longest time but a game might be better for me.

other fan games i wanna make too:

1) a bad sans castle where its me getting used to coding and all u do is walk around the castle and talk to them and just explore

2) another fnaf guard game to get me used to coding stuff with rpg maker. silly game of early fnaf jokes (five nights of the early days. thought of it in 2021)

3) jeremy and fritz fnaf guards vn (script is done but i wanna work on other stuff rn)

🧐 Do you spend much time researching for your stories?

i cannot lie the longest part of my fic writing process is me cross-referencing a dictionary and a thesaurus like. what is. a premonition. am i using that right. oh i AM. amazing. but it doesn't have the right tone im going for.

most research i do actually is abt the motifs of the fic & not actual details. i like to engage in elaborate metaphoric and symbolic bullshit that requires my entire brain to understand

if i have to put a niche detail in then i probably already knew it OR it's something that interests me OR i decide it doesn't actually fit the theme.

Mafia Bad Sanses’ HCs?

Horror likes bashing in heads. He likes that his job means he gets paid to bash in a lot of heads. He doesn't really care that he's considered one of Nightmare's top enforcers, that even the hardest criminals tremble in fear at the mention of his name, that he's called things like the beast and the monster... he just likes that he gets to take out all his worst frustrations on whichever face Nightmare points him to. As a nice bonus, the money he makes means his brother and surviving friends live in safety and comfort.

... But he also likes pretty things. Pretty, soft things, that make him feel fuzzy and warm. You're all three. You find out pretty quick that his frightening face hides a softspoken, sensitive creature, who keeps appearing at your door with flowers (when did you give him your address?) and homemade food. It's bizarre, how such a violent man can equally be so gentle, getting flustered just from you looking at him too long. He wants to do to you what he does with everyone he cares about - use his money to make it so that you never have to worry about anything in life again.

Probably for the best that you let him. He famously doesn't have great control over his temper.

Dust doesn't appear too happy about working for Nightmare. It's clear to anyone watching that Nightmare has something over him; whatever it is, it must be pretty bad, because Dust never questions Nightmare's orders - no matter how terrible or violent. He does exactly what's asked of him, no more, no less. And it's obvious why Nightmare might want to force someone like Dust to work for him... there's no job this silent demon can't do.

Dust, with you, is a different man. He almost becomes his old self again. When you're alone together, he actually smiles. He desperately wants to keep you away from the world he's become trapped in, and he'll probably spend the first few weeks of knowing you trying as hard as he can to separate you from him and the other skeletons. But... he's in love. He can't help it. He's always drawn back to you again, no matter how many times he tells himself he has to let go.

You're his escape. You make him forget the things he's done, and the things he has to keep doing. He's addicted to that feeling.

Killer is Nightmare's right hand. The moniker 'Nightmare's dog' is often used, mostly in an attempt to offend him, but it just makes him laugh. Much like Horror, he very much enjoys his job... he enjoys the power, indulging in his violent desires and getting paid for it. Killer is just about the closest thing Nightmare has to someone he trusts; Killer is privy to many of their 'family's deepest secrets, partly because of his position, but also partly because Nightmare knows Killer genuinely has absolutely zero interest in these massively important secrets. Killer just wants to stab things.

For some reason he seems intent that you trust him. It's really hard to tell what he wants, behind that smile... you're cautious with him, given his clear loyalty to Nightmare. But maybe that loyalty isn't as unshakeable as it seems. It starts with little things... casually lying through his teeth and fully taking the blame for something you did. Conveniently 'forgetting' to mention you around Nightmare. Failing a mission you expressed horror at. Lying about the nature of your personal information, pretending (in front of the guys) that he doesn't know stuff he very much knows.

It's impossible to tell what he wants. But it seems like, whatever it is, he wants it more than all the power he's got now.

Nightmare will obviously want to learn the identity of the person who's somehow managed to completely disarm his three most valuable and violent soldiers. Despite all of them doing their damnedest to keep you out of Nightmare's crosshairs, you can't be hidden forever.

Nightmare is supposed to have everything - there's no luxury he can't afford. But he's always had this... void inside him. It's the very void that pushes him to keep expanding his territory, to keep killing and taking, maybe if he has just that little bit more he'll feel complete. Maybe if he just has that one last shiny thing, he'll be happy. But it's never been enough.

Then he finally meets you. And something clicks.

Dust, Killer and Horror tried so hard to keep you away from Nightmare, because they were terrified of what would happen to you if Nightmare decided he didn't like you. Instead, something much, much worse happened.

Nightmare likes you.

Nightmare is an extremely curious creature, therefore, it seems to me that it is unlikely that, having lived for so many years, he would not be able to use modern technologies. Yes, there are moments where he judges biasedly and conservatively, but he firmly shares what he must understand in order to make his life easier, and what can be ignored. He understands the structure of modern technologies, knows how they developed (because he literally watched it), and knows how to use them. But this one has one big problem: he absolutely doesn't know how to drive a car or operate any other similar vehicle. When he is driving, all the passengers traveling with him pray that they will at least survive until the end of the trip, since he drives aggressively and illegally (but denies this). He's excellent at driving a horse-drawn cart, but once he gets behind the wheel, a miracle will happen if he doesn’t hit anyone on the road.

Cross is the only Bad Sanses who grew up in the open world, so he can drive a car. Once the gang found out he had a driver's license, he became their regular driver for the rest of his life.

On this basis, disputes often arise between crossmare about who will drive the car.

Он превосходно умеет управлять повозкой, запряжённой лошадьми, но стоит ему сесть за руль, свершится чудо, если он никого не собьёт по дороге.

Кросс единственный из Бед Сансев, кто вырос в открытом мире, потому умеет водить машину. Как только банда узнала о том, что у него есть водительские права, он стал их постоянным водителем на всю оставшуюся жизнь.

На этой почве между кроссмерами часто возникают споры, кто сядет за руль

he loves cold blooded animals or small animals, has only one toy and doesn't give a shit about the love life or problems of his parents and people around!

he doesn't care about anything more than living, and he doesn't care how, he just wants to survive and pass on his lineage to the future! But don't worry, he's also kind and polite! I mean- he's just a child among chaotic parents, he doesn't understand his own feelings and has difficulty feeling empathy, just sometimes!

This is the translation of the another post from Russian to English. I understand English, but it is very difficult for me to write in English, so I asked chat GPT to help me. I have corrected some parts, but there still may be mistakes.

I think I'm getting lazy: they're so small on such a big space, Nightmare and Error are hidden. But I'm happy with the picture I made.

And haha, a little celebration. 10 pictures!

I really hope my English skills are enough to properly convey what's happening here=)

After some time, the group had to leave the hospitality of Temmy (Nightmare could finally breathe out with relief. The positive energy that was so overwhelming for him was finally bearable). The level 4 was safe enough, just like the level 0, with the exception of natural light sources like windows. The weather on the other side of the glass would sometimes change. No monsters or people were met on their way. No people or monsters were met for most of the time.

As always, Error sent his strings ahead of the group to know what was waiting for them. Nightmare's sensitivity to auras of negative emotions was decreasing, which was unpleasant. But this could be explained by the distortion of space in this place and, what was even more worrying, the absence of refreshment. Thanks to the group and occasional negative coming through the pipes, Nightmare didn't have to worry about his survival. But this was nothing compared to the refreshment of the whole multiverse. He was already feeling less aggressive and egoistic. At first, this was part of the survival strategy, and now it was starting to sink in deeper.

All these small external changes. All these internal changes. He was a little concerned that he didn't notice anything similar in the others.

During the time they were idle, Error started knitting himself a new scarf. He was deeply wounded by how foolishly he had lost his previous scarf, unable to stay focused for long and appearing even more agitated after his attempts. The tangled yarn was thrown away in a long drawer of one of the computer tables.

Killer was hiding. His absence looked very strange, but Error was keeping an eye on him (thanks to the blue thread in his zip-up jacket, Error knew that Killer was actively crafting something ).

Dust Horror and Cross were systematically organizing the records. From time to time, Error joined them (observing how Destroyer could do creative teamwork was quite fascinating). Nightmare checked the work done. While doing this, he even managed to recognize some unsigned maps from the notebook he had bought from Temmy.

At last, the paperwork was finished. Nightmare tried to map the route, but was disappointed by some contradictions in the information he had received. Some levels were reached through a mysterious "noclip". (Even after the explanation from Error, this way of moving seemed unreliable). Sometimes the exits and entrances on some levels didn't match what was indicated on other levels. He concluded that it would be much easier to find ways to freely move to levels-crossroads than to move one level after another.

However, it was clear that in this place, there were familiar things to all the Sanses "shortcuts": people who couldn't control this phenomenon, described it as touching objects that would take them to some levels or places. This was useful. It seemed that this dimension had taken some pieces of AU or a couple of original timelines. (It seemed artificial.)

Also, it was worth reconsidering one's attitude towards supplies. Previously, all the Almond Water was collected for Horror, Cross, and Killer, who needed food the most. Even though Dust didn't feel hungry (which worried everyone), he sometimes took water from Cross. According to new data, they all should drink it from time to time. This became a problem. But so far, there were no issues with finding Almond Water.

They lingered long enough in one place, it was time to continue their journey. Their goal now was

to find the old staircase and reach level 5.

Just simple wandering as before. The bad guys bid farewell to the Temmy store location.

Along the way, they encountered worn rooms with flickering lights, spacious coworking spaces with the constant hum of computers and the ghostly sound of keys clacking, empty rooms flooded with light from panoramic windows. On one of the local nights, they even saw a full moon. The journey seemed safe.

Until Error's strings stumbled upon what they all didn't want to find.

A warm, tall body containing a human soul. Reflexively, Error pulled on the strings towards himself, as he had done before, but almost immediately stopped, alerting the group to his discovery. Almost immediately, the strings touched several more people, apparently drawn by the cries for help from their captured comrade.

Error rarely encountered adult people (children were enough of a hassle), so he didn't overreact to Nightmer's suggestion to observe their opponents for the first time and then disappear.

The room where they were looked empty at first glance, but Nightmare and Error found a hidden place behind decorative panels on the ceiling. The rest of the group hid in the shadows of columns and the room wrapped in blue strings.

For a while, no one showed up. Then, cautiously emerging from around the corner, heavily armed men appeared. They carefully scanned the area, gradually moving along the room. The group of people maintained silence and communicated through gestures, unseen by the skeletons. Only the faint creaking and metallic clinking of their gear gave away their presence.

During this time, Nightmare studied the emotions of the people. They fed him fear with a bitter taste of hope. They were scared of the new and unknown, yet somehow it also made them hopeful for something. Digging deeper, Nightmare sensed their very light and delicate madness, similar to Error's madness when he first emerged from the Antivoid. However, people seemed to handle it much better or had grown accustomed to this state. Nightmare realized that their group could potentially exploit this in the future.

Fortunately, there was no trace of magic in these people. Their DETERMINATION was no greater than usual for humans. Yet there was still something inexplicable about them... In the multiverse, there were AU's consisting entirely of humans. This dimension-killer was made up of AU's in part. But these people. There was something absolutely off about them. They seemed denser. It reminded him of Horror, whose bones were mostly made of real bone tissue, not magic like the others.

Error observed the movements of the people, not to pay attention to thoughtful Nightmer. He really wanted the fight to begin. T0 h3 W1N aga1n.

Error went into reboot. Nightmer removed his hand from the face of the Destroyer. It seemed like the only right decision. Quite rough, but effective. He failed to notice the escalation of Error's mental problems and should have left this place as quickly as possible while they all still had time. Now definitely was not the time to provoke a fight.

The piercingly loud screech from Error caused a flash of fear in the frozen group of people. And Nightmare fanned this flash into a flame of panic. Someone among human group screamed, dropping something. Someone ran with a loud sound. Someone pressed against the glass, from where the "sun" light poured, wildly surveying the room. Bustle began, in which Nightmare's subordinates slipped forward, and he, taking Error with him, teleported.

Fragments of blue threads swayed behind them, causing another flash of horror at their backs.

you my friend have no idea what you have just started :)

(nightmare) The Feral nightmare au is kind of a what if to how the corruption might work differently. Essentially The corruption essentially inhibits the mind and erases memory. like thinking through a fog if that makes sense. The corruption also enhances negative emotions.

so instead of just gaining tentacles and going tyrant mode during the apple incident he just goes feral beast mode who is currently powered by fear and anger.

After the incident nightmare doesn't have the same drive most of his counterparts would have. also his memory is pretty much wiped. though he does remember certain emotions based on objects. apples make him feel anxious so he stays away from them while he collects other things such as books because they trigger a positive emotion even if he doesn't quite remember why. or how to read. His mind is much more survival driven and doesn't really care much about multiverse domination or even revenge.

he lives in an underground cave network under Dreamtale which by this time has been transformed into a shadow Forrest full of creatures that have been affected by the corruption and negativity. The place where the village and the tree of feelings was in completely barren though and everything avoids it. The cave network is mostly long twisting tunnels nightmare has made with a few massive natural caves that the tunnels connect.

Nightmare is still well known across the multiverse as he has the ability to travel between au's and he tends to cause a bit of a panic. You see nightmare feeds entirely off of negative emotions, mostly being fear. the usual way he get fear is by finding a random person and proceeding to scare the life out of them. he tries to find people who are alone because groups tend to attack more than a lone individual. Nightmare isn't exactly murderous as... he has no need to be. he doesn't eat people so. after he gets his negative emotions he usually leaves. unless the individual decides to attack then nightmare will probably kill them.

(the gang)

the gang only involves horror, killer, and dust. idk if you could really call them a gang because they are really just... well a group of sanses nightmare has kidnapped and brought to his burrow. none of them know why. none of them know anything about nightmare. they don't even know his real name or that he has one. he just kinda kidnapped them.

Not that they really mind that much. killer and dust where pretty much in an empty world at that point. and Horror had no more desire to go back anyway because his brother had died due to starvation.

Horror was the first of the gang that nightmare surprise adopted. he has been living with nightmare for about two years now. the underground river has a abundant amount of fish plus nightmare regularly goes on supply runs and grabs whatever he thinks the smaller skeleton creatures he shares a home with would like. horror is pretty good at navigating the tunnels by now.

Killer was actually the second one to be kidnapped by Nightmare. he finds living with the equivalent of a demon dragon (minus most of the dragonish part) to be rather cool. he calls nightmare Beasty but not in a bad way. he is the only one who can call him that and makes sure everyone else knows this. spends a lot of time carving wood but nightmare takes him to the surface of the au to make sure he doesn't get to bored. nightmare has to be nearby though so "the shadow creatures" don't attack killer.

Dust has only been in the burrow for about 6 months. please help this man he is so lost. what is this place and who are these people, who knows! why is this weird slimy skeleton creature keeping him hostage? he sure doesn't know. all he knows is that at least he isn't trapped in a loop anymore.

(star sanses)

Dream doesn't know what happend to his brother. he holds onto the hope that maybe he is alive out there somewhere in the multiverse but ultimately has no idea. he made friends with blue and ink and helps them protect the multiverse from all the other dangers to the multiverse because the gang wouldn't be the only one. Dream doesn't really know of his position as guardian... no one knew... he's just the guy that was also that statue Blue found in that weird desolate au.

Blue has been a sort of multiverse guard since learning about all the au's. he always wanted to do somthing like this and finda the travel and protection of the denizens of the multiverse to be quite rewarding. though he makes sure to still spend plenty of time back in under swap with his friends and brother. Dream lives with him and his brother as he needed help adjusting to modern society and stuff. Blue has a bit of a fued against nightmare as he is attempting to figure out where he keeps coming from and why he is randomly attacking people, nightmare has not been much help in this regard.

Ink id just there because Dream and Blue are his friends. and their adventures and "quests" they go on is fun and he likes spending time with them. nightmare doesn't really care about ink. Ink can just sort of watch him do stuff and he could not care less. Ink takes this opportunity many times to draw the weird goop creature. Nightmare is a little intrigued by the fact he cannot sense any emotions from ink.

(other stuff)

this au is mainly focused on how nightmare is able to slowly find himself after the corruption shattered his mind. which he is able to do somewhat. he will never be the same though.

Dream and nightmare have an interesting relationship. neither know at first that the other is their brother. Nightmare doesn't even remember having a brother beyond a vague collection of fragmented memories and sensations. but Dream definitely feels familer... and nightmare wants to know why. Dream can sense there is something familer about nightmare as well.

Undertale Sans - Oh god. No. No, no, no, no. He doesn't want to live through this again. Papyrus is all gothic and moody again, getting mad at him for no reason or ignoring him. He goes to Alphys and begs her to do something about this. He will do anything. Even help her clean the lab for two weeks. Please. You can't let him like this. He's not going to survive.

Underswap Sans - He smirks. Well, that's something. It's kind of nostalgic. Well, except when after two days, Blue remembers why Honey's teenagehood was a daily fight after Honey accidentally burns half of the living room to impress him with one of his stupid magic tricks. It won't stop the entire week.

Underfell Sans - He wants to cry. Teenage Edge is like normal Edge, but sassier and angrier. His life is a living hell. Edge bosses him around and screams at him all the time, and Red snaps at him after three days, which results in Edge looking at him like a kicked puppy and then guilty shames him for being a bad brother the rest of the week. Once he's back to normal, Red goes on a vacation for a month lol.

Horrortale Sans - He can't stop making fun of his brother who is back in his goth phase. Willow is very dramatic all the time, screaming this is not a phase when Oak makes too many remarks and all. Oak can't stop laughing at his misery. That's actually good memories. He's having fun. A bit too long in the end though, he's quite happy to have his brother's back after the week.

Swapfell Sans - This is a nightmare. Nox tries to keep an eye on him, but somehow Rus always manages to leave the house without him seeing it? Nox is losing his sanity waiting for him to come home every day at 4 a.m. to lecture him to death, which he doesn't care about because he's doing it again the next day. Nox feels powerless, and lets him do the hell he wants the rest of the week, that's not his problem. He already did that before.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He didn't miss the random panic crisis at all times of day or night. At least he can see how much Coffee improved since then. Well, he wants his brother back now. After two days, he gives up and lets Coffee sleep with him, and hugs him all day. He just wants some independence, please change back!

Killer -

somehow?? louder???? how did this happen?????? i think he would just completely forget any survival instincts n would do a lot of stupid shit with no second thoughts- also hed have a decently average tolerance

Dust -

i think dust would have a pretty high tolerance tbh, but hed be a lot more talkative the more drunk hed get. probably rude talkative tbh- n hed probably kill his voice- i think hed slur words n speech n have a lot harder time mobility wise by the time hes actually drunk. i think hed probably go for a while then completely crash instantly

Horror -

I think shed have a low tolerance, but i think itd just make him realllyyyy sleepy. Just kinda sits in the corner napping. Love her sm

Cross - I think hed have a pretty average tolerance too, but a bit higher than killers. i think hed be really giggly when drunk tbh, n probably more talkative, def the most chill beside horror

Nightmare -

I dont think shed be able to get drunk, or if they can itd need an OBSCENELY large amount of alcohol. That is not going to stop the others from trying- He'd tend to just make sure the others dont do anything too stupid while they r drunk.

Oki so

The Star Sanses are heroes, of course

And the Bad Sanses are villains, obviously

Tho I might call them Team Star and the fucking Mafia because it's much funnier

Dream, Ink, and Swap are hero names

Their real names are different

I haven't figured how what they'll be yet but they will be different

Nightmare also uses a different name when he commits villainy and his real name would be... Nightlight, maybe? Idk yet

Killer does not legally exist, so as far as anyone knows, that's his real name

Dust uses part of his real name (Dustin) for villainy, but he's legally dead so the government is having a hard time finding him (also his file says he's powerless when he clearly is not)

Horror was a hero but then he had an "accident" and Nightmare saved him

They didn't know his real name, so they just named him after his powers

He can survive things others should not like a horror movie villain-

Cross was a hero they kidnapped for information before he realized they were nicer than his boss (XGaster) and started working with them willingly

Crescent is there too

He became a vigilante by accident

The heroes keep asking him to become one of them and the villains think he'd be a good one too because he cares more about the civilians than the fighting

He just got his powers and he doesn't know what he's doing lol
