You are an introvert female Barca player. One day you forget your art work at Barca training grounds and Gavi picks it up. He looks through the pages and see a drawing of him. He than finds the name and questions around who the person is. When Pedri tells him, he decide to go look for her until it is told she left already. He then gets her address from a female Barca player, goes to her house to which the hosue keeper let’s him in and tells her she’s in her art room area. He sees her painting and dancing to bad bunny and gavi just watches and smiles as he admires all the artwork she has (some have Barca drawings with the males and female team)… you may end it how you like.

Im excited to do this one, there were others before this one but I want to write about someone new🫶🏼 I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Sorry if there are some mistakes, English isn’t my first language

Pairing: Gavi x Fem Reader

Summary: you had left some art work back at the training grounds. Gavi stumbles across your sketch book as he was leaving and found himself intrigued, as he was looking through it he saw a drawing of him which intrigued him to go on a hunt for the artist.

Warnings: kissing? If you consider that a warning, nothing else besides fluff.

You had been at Barca for a few months now. You had gotten transferred because Barca adored your football skills. They weren’t the only skills you had though. You really enjoyed doing art, you enjoyed capturing things you found beautiful in the form of drawings and paintings. You had to admit, ever since you transferred to Barca you found yourself drawing players. How could you not? There were so many beautiful people who played there and they just caught your attention. One in particular caught your eye the most.

Pablo Gavira.

You weren’t much younger than him, maybe like 4 or 5 months. You first saw him when you went to support the men’s team play against Real Madrid. You always enjoyed watching the men play. I mean of course you enjoyed the women’s too but the men got in fights more frequently and a part of you found it entertaining. You had saw him walk out with the team for pre match training. He was wearing the home kit and he had the number 30 plastered on his back. You knew who he was but you’ve never seen him in person before and man did he look majestic.

That game was the game you drew your first drawing of him. It was a drawing of his smiling after the win against Real Madrid. He was adorable but you’d never admit that out loud. He had tons of girls roaring for him and you didn’t want to me caught up in social media drama.

Fast forward to now. You had went home for the day to finish your artwork. You knew something was missing but didn’t bother pondering over it because it must’ve not been important enough to remember to take with you.

Gavi was headed off the pitch when something caught his eye. A notebook? A sketchbook? He didn’t quite know what it was till he got closer. It was left on one of the bleachers. As he approached it he concluded it was a sketchbook. He knew he shouldn’t be nosey but his curiosity got the best of him. He grabbed the sketchbook and took it with him to the locker room.

As gavi sat down on a chair he pulled out the sketchbook again. When he opened it he was already amazed. There were drawings upon drawings of players and camp nou. He was impressed to say the least. he kept flipping through the pages, taking in every detail the pencil had created until he stumbled across one picture.

He was flattered but confused while also impressed. Whoever the artist was really showed off her skills for drawing. She got every detail of him. He looked around for a name. Any hint to who may have drawn it. He finally found a name at the back of the sketchbook

“Y/n Y/l”

He said to himself.

He didn’t know who you were, you were new so not many people did along with the fact you were very introverted. He decided to go ask Pedri, Pedri knew everyone from the women’s team to the men’s.

Gavi shut the book and headed back out to the field. He looked over the field and spotted pedri. Gavi then began to jog in his direction calling out for him.

“Hey hermano!” Gavi yelled towards pedri.

Pedri looked at gavi with a questionable look.

“What’s up? Is something wrong?” Pedri asked gavi, confused as to why he came back out onto the field.

“Yeah everything’s ok I just wanted to know if y/n y/l rang a bell to you.” Gavi explained.

“Yeah she’s apart of the women’s Barca team, she hasn’t been here long but she’s really popular around the world and she’s your age, why?” He explained before asking.

“Oh no reason anyways do you think she might still be here? She left something behind and I thought I’d might as well give it back.” He explained, hoping Pedri would have an answer like he always does.

“I don’t know, go check or ask alexia or someone, they’d probably have a better idea.” He told gavi.

Gavi nodded before going to find one of your teammates. He in fact did find alexia but as soon as she said you left already a frown covered Gavi’s face.

“Here let me give you her address.” Alexia said before writing it on a piece of paper.

Gavi mentally praised her for the help before heading over to your house. When he has arrived he was shocked by how big your house was. You don’t post it over social media because you don’t like the thought of people know what your house looks like in the odds some weirdo would find it. Gavi swallowed a little hard before walking up and knocking on the door. When nobody answered the first time he knocked one more time. This time a woman answered.

“Hello sir how may I help you?” The slightly elder woman asked.

“Hey is y/n home? She left something at the training grounds and I wanted to return it to her.” He said with a friendly smile across his face.

“Ahh yes, she’s in her art room, go straight down the hall then to the left.” She smiled back before letting him in.

When gavi entered he was astonished by how pretty and clean your house was. You had marble flooring that was shiny and lots of artwork covering the once bare walls. He lingered a little bit admiring your house before reaching the doorway of your art room. He heard music. Bad bunny? He thought to himself.

He opened the door and peaked in. You were to engulfed in your art and dancing that you didn’t even hear the door open. He saw you there, dancing in a pair of pajama shorts and a baggy shirt that was covered in paint. He couldn’t help but smile at the sight. He even giggled a little when you started pretending the paintbrush was a microphone as you sang the lyrics into it.

He leans against the doorframe, admiring you. This was the first time he’s ever even saw you and he knew, you were the most gorgeous girl he’s laid his eyes on. Minuets passed and you heard shuffling between your song change, you turned around and shrieked. You didn’t expect Pablo Gavira to be standing in your house, let alone the doorway to your art room.

“Sorry if I scared you hermosa.” He said to you with a big grin.

You stood in front of the painting you were working on. It was of him and it embarrassed you to think about the fact he probably already saw it.

“Uhh…n..no it’s ok, um how did you get in here and why?” I asked, mentally cursing myself for stuttering at the presence of a man.

“A woman let me in, I came to return this.” He said, handing out my sketchbook to me.

Fuck I hope he didn’t go through that.

“You drew a really nice photo of me, it was impressive.” He complimented me.

Fuck.

“Wow nosey much.” I responded jokingly.

“Thank you though, I knew I forgot something but didn’t bother to check what.” I told him with a thankful tone.

“Of course. What are you painting now?” He asked trying to peak over you too see.

I quickly stood even closer to it to block his view.

“Nothing…” I said with a shaky voice.

I don’t want him knowing I have like an obsession with making art of him.

He walked closer to me causing me to back up with every step he takes closer to me. He grabbed me by my waist shocking me to the point I didn’t even comprehend that he managed to move me away from the painting.

“Woah.” He said as he admired the painting of him.

“I swear I’m not some umm weirdo it’s just you’re really appealing to make art of.” I said trying to find an excuse as to why I’ve been doing so much art of him.

He turned in my direction, our faces super close now.

“No it’s ok I find it really cool if I’m being honest.” He told me. I could feel his hot breath fanning my lips.

His eyes flickered to my lips that were slightly parted then back to my eyes.

“This may sound weird but can I kiss you?” He asked me. I was in utter shock. I just starred at him before I subconsciously nodded my head. With the confirmation I felt his lips, the lips I’ve been painting and drawing since the day I first saw him play, the lips I thought about almost every night, the lips I pondered wether or not would be soft or dry, on my lips. It felt like heaven, it didn’t feel real.

I kissed him back, my arms snaking around his neck as his pulled me closer to him by my waist. We kissed for what felt like weeks until we pulled away to catch our breaths.

“I don’t know what you’re doing to me, we just met and I think I’m already hooked. You’re beautiful…” he told me.

“You’re like art to me.” He said starring into my eyes. I starred right back into his and told him one last thing before kissing him again.

“You are art to me”

Tw: izuku’s self sacrificial tendencies and low self esteem

Izuku being so self sacrificial and just 1000% willing to die for his friends, and really just for anyone, and his friends are so fucking stressed about it :/

Like. It’s so unhealthy, but this kid is just willing to die to protect his friends and genuinely doesn’t understand why it freaks them out. He one time tells them point blank, “I’d die for you” and doesn’t understand why they’re like, “maybe let’s not do that????” He’s just so used to people not caring if he dies, and he thinks that it’s an okay/healthy way to show love and affection

Like, I imagine it is most detrimental with kiri, Shouto, Iida, Uraraka, Aoyama, and tsu. Like kiri is so insistent on telling izuku how manly he is, and how he admires him, and he starts to see how little izuku values his own life and it freaks him out. Like, izuku just doesn’t understand why they’re all telling him to stop and slow down, or why he needs to not jump into fights without backup. But instead keeps telling them that he’d be fine if he died protecting his friends, and it’s so earth shattering to them all

Shouto understands a bit more where izuku is coming from, but he is just so terrified of losing his first friend. Todoroki “ride or die” Shouto does NOT approve. He tries to stop izuku from putting up with bakugou’s bullshit too. He can see how bakugou impacts izuku’s mental health, and he’s the first one to try and separate them and keep izuku out of harms way. Because he knows what being around someone who torments you does to a person, and izuku, who’s so idiotically brave and kind, who sticks his nose in other people’s business for the sake of heroism and wanting them to feel safe, fucking deserves to have the same kind of annoying, amazing, really fucking odd help and support. And if Shouto can provide it, then of course he will

Iida has seen first hand how willing izuku is to jump in to protect his friends-they all have, but I’m talking about the hosu incident-and he’s so grateful for izuku helping him there, but Jesus does it terrify him how izuku just keeps doing it with no regards for his own life. He almost lost tensei, he can’t lose izuku

Uraraka knows how strong izuku is, they all do, but this dude is stressing her the fuck out with his lack of self preservation. She needs her best friend alive, thank you??? She admires him so much in the beginning, his bravery and heroic personality, and that continues, but she’s coming to realize that some of that bravery comes from such a horrible place of not caring if he lives or dies and she’s horrified

Aoyama. The fucking guilt he has right now. Because he knows where izuku is coming from to some degree, and he knows that it’s partially his fault. That if he wasn’t in cahoots with the L.O.V., izuku wouldn’t be so. Like this. He’s not stupid, he knows he’d still be like this. But he wouldn’t have the added pressure of wanting to protect Aoyama, his friend. And Aoyama doesn’t know what to do because he has to help keep his parents safe, but holy shit, what if izuku actually gets killed??

Tsu is rational, but she’s also good at looking at things from other people’s perspectives. But it just hurts so much to see how izuku views his self worth. She understands to a degree, because he grew up with pretty shitty influences (bakugou, the entirety of Aldera middle school, etc.), but she also does. Not. Get. It. She doesn’t want to get it. She loves her friends, and she knows they’re strong, hell, she’s strong as hell, but it’s just terrifying that this 16 year old, who is one of her best friends, who has saved all of their lives several times, is just so. Lackluster when it comes to keeping himself safe.

Mic (because it wouldn’t be one of my rants if I didn’t include my desire for this man to adopt me, but since that can’t happen, we project into also wanting him to adopt izuku) is just so devastated that this kid, a fucking child, a baby has to fight in a goddamn war. This is ridiculous. But just that he’s also so willing to die for literally anyone???? He’s seen where that got Oboro, and fuck if it doesn’t terrify him that, what if the green bean gets irrevocably hurt?? He’s such a kind, and thoughtful, and smart kid, but he’s also so fucking stupid. He doesn’t even mean it as an insult, it’s just so frightening that this child he’s supposed to be protecting is taking it upon himself to try and fix this major issue that has gotten multiple adults, pro-heroes, killed, maimed, and otherwise injured. AND HE IS A 16 YEAR OLD WITH A SHIT LOAD OF TRAUMA. FUCK. And he can’t even do much to try and keep him out of harms way! Hell, the kid isn’t even in his homeroom! But the war is coming and he can’t keep any of the kids away from it, and that’s even worse.

I think ochako is one of the most under utilised and underrated characters. I'm not a fan of her character (no, i DONT hate her). She had so much of potential amd her fight with BK just proved she's more than a pretty face. I'm fully aware of the fact that this show is oversaturated with characters. But let's not forget that she is the main female lead of the show. My biggest issue with her is that she didn't get to do a god damn thing in the Stain arc. She joined the academy with the sole intention of making money, and that's exactly what Stain hates about the hero society. Their monetary outlook. She could have been a part of the arc, the build up was there. She could have shown Stain that yes, while there are heroes who are there solely for the financial gains, that doesn't make them bad people. She all she wanted was to help her family get out of the poor financial situation they were in. Instead, she gets the typical shonen lead heroine treatment- being the love interest and whose sole purpose in life is to be a satellite character to the male lead of the show.

All her effort in the UA sports festival to do her best against Bk, all the desires to make good income as a hero to help her family financially, devolved into a girl who becomes a blushing mess infront of her love interest.

They did her so dirty. She was one of the few female shonen characters who felt like she could be someone in life without having anything to do with matters of the heart.

Also, notice how it's other characters around her who enforce her this whole Deku crush on her. Mina, toga and Aoyama to name a few. These are the characters who constantly remind her of her feelings for deku, thus pushing her further and further away from the plot relevancy.

I find this very annoying and makes me sick to think that a girl with tremendous potential is now relegated to the role of a girl hopelessly in love.

One last question: So many people think she's a terrible person for wanting to make money. I'm like, what? Are you serious? (If you want me to give further explanations I will) but it's the most human and realistic thing to do when you're stuck in a financial rut.

First and foremost, I still love Ochako. But I can’t ignore what’s happened to her throughout the series.

Honestly, it’s been ages since I’ve had that exact thought about Ochako and Stain situation! While he had a valid point (that wasn’t further explored, HORIKOSHI) about there being heroes that didn’t have the EXACT same mentality as All Might, her duality of wanting to provide enough money to support her family all the while having the desire to save others for the sake of saving others would be honestly a culture shock to Stain. (Or he may go further into denial, it’s actually hard to say. Guy had a few screws loose.)

But it HONESTLY would have been interesting seeing these two interact! And not to replace anyone the Hosu trio! It honestly would have been cool seeing her trying to use her new Gunhead Martial Arts (though she probably would have been focused on saving Iida as Izuku and Shoto took on the role of the main fighters, but Stain could have also tried to go after them and Uraraka would attempt to hold her own against him.) And we would have had MOST of the Dekusquad there! (Asui had her own internship.) Hiw great would it have been seeing the Dekusquad fighting together! And Ochako going feral protecting Iida!

Yeah, she happened to be more focused only about her crush with Izuku as time went on, which made a lot of her early traits and accomplishments kinda fade away and be forgotten. But for the record, and I still stand by this. A girl having a crush on someone DOESN’T cheapen her in my opinion. It’s something that happens to many teenagers. And some of their interactions I think are handled well, like them talking about wanting to save their respective villains. But other times, yeah, it felt a bit excessive that Horikoshi had to stop and say, “Hey! Hey! Do you remember Ochako has a crush on Izuku?!?” I honestly was looking forward to seeing how she acted after she vowed to put her feelings aside during the provisional license exam. But…Hori just continued to drill it into our faces.

As for the biggest perpetrator of making Ochako only about Izuku, I lay on Toga’s feet. Mina, yeah, she brings up the crush as well, but it’s done more in good fun I feel. And I think Aoyama has done that once. (Now that I think about it, it’s kind of random how he suddenly knew about her crush. He never does it again.)

But Toga? Horikoshi could have used her for something else to make her relevant, but the ONLY thing she had connected to Ochako is their shared crush on Izuku. Others say theirs other themes between them, but I’m sorry. I don’t see it, or believe that it was handled effectively. Ochako had more than just a crush. Like you mentioned, her want to provide for her family. Her fighting spirit and prowess that she showed against Bakugou. She had things that could have been fleshed out more.

Toga was a wha-wha girl that embraced being a remorseless villain and happened to be crushing on the same guy Ochako was crushing on. That’s it. There’s nothing else really about Toga. And she became to Ochako what Bakugou became to Izuku: a detriment to her character and preventing her from becoming something MORE. (Sorry but not really if I sound cynical about Toga. I just got REALLY tired being demanded to care about her. Like some OTHER blonde.)

Speaking of which, your last question? I also never understood this. I get it for a quick joke and stuff like that. Hahaha. But when people were SERIOUS about holding that over Ochako’s head? I was like, “Did you not hear her entire motivation?!?” I was dumbfounded how people could possibly come to that conclusion.

I find it ESPECIALLY interesting NO ONE brings up that BAKUGOU also had the desire to be a hero for money,JUST TO BE RICH AND FAMOUS! But no, shit on Ochako for wanting to take care of her family! Filthy hypocrites. I honestly wish Horikoshi did a better job balancing both her looking out for heroes as well as wanting to have a good paying job for her family. I think both are completely character of her.

Anyways, you gave me a long post, I gave a long response. 😜 But honestly, thanks! I don’t honestly get these and I hope my answers or thoughts are interesting or understandable! Have a good one and thanks again!

Overlord Gentry! Will you bless us with an AU where UA does better at providing a safe and secure environment for their students? Especially Izuku? Please and thank you <3

1 - The first two week of school in the hero school is pure quirk training. The teachers evaluate the kids' quirks, sees if they can be hurt by it, and seeks solution. No continuous bone-breaking for Izuku. Aoyama's support item gets an upgrade. Actually, the support department is way more involved into this whole process to help the students with the drawbacks of their quirks.

2 - The first time Bakugou attacks Izuku, during the QAT, he is given detention and Aizawa explains how this is not acceptable behavior. When his animosity towards Izuku continues, Katsuki is forced to take anger management class or he will get expelled.

3 - *BANGS PANS AND POTS* Psychological help and counseling! Mandatory in case of any traumatizing events! Tenya is not allowed to go to Hosu after Tensei was mailed and he gets some help! Even if he refuses it, he has access to it. Same thing for all the kids after the USJ!

4 - Any heroes who take a student on their internship must sign a contract where a clause says that they must keep the student's best interests at heart. It means that there are consequences to Uwabami getting Kendo and Momo just because they're cute and having them in her publicity spot without paying them. Nighteye was also in breach of his contract when he hired Izuku just to make him give up OFA.

5 - THERE IS NO TRAINING CAMP OUTSIDE OF UA. They have been attacked by villains once before! Midoriya was directly targetted twice! So they take all of their kids and the quirk training happened at UA, thank you very much. They can even sleep over there.

+ 1 - Smarter people than me have explained everything wrong with the final exams so I am not going to ramble about it but just... UA not doing whatever the hell happened there.

There's nothing to suggest this, but what if the institute was funding raider gangs (either directly hiring or teleporting resources like bullets and chems to their scavenging locations) to keep the commonwealth unstable.

I also think Fallout 4 would have been cool if it had an almost medieval world design. Small wood and stone cabins like skyrim (not the details, just the structure), but with electric lights and components like car doors, aeroplane seats, and road signs for doors, seating, and walls (for example).

I misread medieval as medical and was like ‘yeah, a scifi dystopia faction that was all about new upgrades and technologies and slowly loosing touch with their own humanity’.

But yeah, considering that’s how actual governing bodies work, and there’s canon to support the institute implanting spies, soldiers, etc, into settlements, it stands to reasons that they would go out of their way to keep things hectic. Urge always believed that, even if people think it’s. Cheap excuse to keep the commonwealth a unified wasteland. I mean, hell, they probably release chems into communities the way the cia starts crack addition in local neighborhoods, and for the same reason more or less.

But yeah, I think, the way most modern people thbk, very few of us would know how to survive without modern comforts. It would take the world relearning how to do basic shit like farming correctly or making clothes that peopel who live in Orlando would be unable to do. After. Few hundred years the excuse becomes inexcusable, but still somewhat understandable a, and really a lot of settlements imo do have that sort of vibe. Small wooden hosues with electric lighting and stone furnaces. A blend of modern and traditional.

oh man okay. so i have this wip filed as "house flip" in my docs folder that i haven't touched since.......like february? so it's officially dead. anyway, basic plot was harrow -- estranged from her parents, in her mid-twenties, working some unspecified office job w ianthe -- finds out her parents have died, and is blatantly surprised to discover that they left everything to her in their will-- including their ancestral family home, situated in the middle of the woods, upstate. ianthe convinces harrow to go and have a look at it before she makes any big decisions, and harrow makes pal and cam come along for logistical (and moral support) reasons. they arrive to find the house is more than run-down, with part of the roof caved in. harrow, cam, and pal all agree that the hosue should be knocked down and the land sold, but ianthe, who is in the mood for funding a "fun summer project" (her words), declares they should stay and flip it instead.

from there, the plot splits into halves: the first of which contains harrow attempting to avoid making direct contact w gideon and pyrrha (who run home maintainence + renovation services in town), hired by ianthe to help them out with the flip. the other half of the plot is cam and pal becoming increasingly convinced that the house is haunted and/or cursed and trying to prove their hypothesis without getting in the way/making it obvious how dead serious they are abt the ghosts.

who: @freysofthecrossing when and where: kings landing, an audience is scheduled between lord brandon karstark and lord declan of hosue frey. this is set following the decision of brandon to appoint his brother, aleksander, as the new ruling lord of greywater watch. context: the freys and the reeds/crannogmen of greywater watch have been entangled in conflict and border disputes for hundreds of years. the karstarks, via brandon's marriage to lady meera reed, have now taken influence of the region.

declan frey, was a name that was not the most known to brandon karstark - and for good reason, considering it had never been the karstarks which held the border of the north with the land of the rivers. the rivermen, who were known to hold hardened warriors, and yet, had a reputation of ripping themselves apart before any other did. it was the responsibility of house reed to oversee such things, and as much as the thought haunted him and forced him to lay awake in his bed looking at the canopy, house reed was dead.

no matter how much he saw her in glimpses in the mirror, or thought he could hear her voice as he awakened from another awful sleep, house reed was dead. but greywater watch, and their people, were not dead.

the vows he had taken beneath the god's tree were vows he took in entire solemn severity, and so, what was hers was his own to protect. in the name of her legacy, and her honour; all knew there was pragmatic reasoning to strengthen the keep on the border, but this was beyond pragmatism. this was the very essence of what was important to brandon - keeping his vow.

"the reeds be dead." brandon spoke to the man sat across from him, with a tone that was not as easy as it should have come out sounding; some would say it should not be brandon having this conversation, because of how wrapped up emotively he is in the matter. that advice, he ignored wholeheartedly. who was this declan frey? what was the man like? the freys had a certain reputation, to feast on coin; some of the newest of the houses of the riverlands. did that matter in any true way? he doubted it. he knew it did not.

"frogmen and mudmen though? very much alive." the words the freys used to refer to the people of house reed, the defenders of the border to the vast ancient land that was the north: and it became all too apparent that this was not necessarily diplomacy. it was a warning. "with the support of house karstark. you will find me kin to be to the north of you, lord frey." he informed words which could be seen as baseless - some would claim the karstarks still had no claim to greywater watch.

"my brother aleksander is to be the new ruling lord. it'll be him yer men are choosin' to cross, should they think wit anything but their heads. and me."

AU where Izuku places some boundaries, please.

there's a little troll in my head that wanted to take that literally. Izuku who's dreamed of being a land surveyor all his life or an Izuku who's a world champion Catan player. but i shall silence that troll.

1- the change can be traced back to one thing: Inko had a best friend all through her school years. A light-haired, spunky friend, a friend from a rich family, a friend with an enviable quirk and kind heart under a cold exterior. Rei Himura. Rei was never rude, but she did expect to be treated well, and her friends too. She often stood up for her classmates Inko and Masaru in a quiet tone that allowed no arguments. This defense lead to close friendships, and Rei encouraged Inko to set more boundaries, to stand up for herself more. Then one day, as Inko is considering Universities, Rei softly tells her that she's getting married instead. An arranged affair, from her family. Rei confesses that she was so strong at school because she was desperate for control, feeling none at home as her parents eroded her boundaries. Rei begs Inko to not let anyone do that to her, and promises she'll be fine- better to live with her soon to be husband than put up with her family anymore. Inko promises and asks Rei to tell her who, to leave with her instead. Rei doesn't, and leaves. Inko is heartbroken for a year.

2- Inko eventually decides she wants to be a monther. She's worked hard and saved for years, and she could adopt, but that would take even longer. Instead, she tells her friends-with-benefits Hisashi Akatani that she wants a baby. Hisashi says "uh, what!?" a couple of times, but Inko clarifies she doesn't want to coparent or have that kind of relationship with him. (Clear boundaries!) Just that she intends to get pregnant and have a kid soon, and it'd be convenient if he were the donor. This direct, clear boundaries is what she eventually teaches to Izuku, her son.

3- Izuku takes the lessons to heart. So, when Katsuki develops his quirk, Izuku establishes a clear boundary: Do Not Use Your Explosion Quirk On My Body. That boundary is broken. Izuku tells Inko. Inko teaches him how to enforce that boundary with some demonstrations.

Izuku, within a year of boundaries and demonstrations, moves schools.

4- Izuku wants to be a hero. No one in his class thinks he can do it, but they don’t mention it. Just say, “yeah, that’d be cool.” It half bugs Izuku. The fact that none of them think they can be heroes either is the other half that bugs him. Izuku tells all his classmates how their quirks- or other skills- could be great for heroics! One’s got a great quirk for coordinating large numbers of people in a rescue! One’s got hardening to protect himself in a fight! One’s the best in the whole class when it comes to math, she could build her own support tech, or run an agency! The class cheers up a bit. Izuku makes new friends, and a few even plan to get into UA with him.

Izuku goes into UA with a three old school mates, and four other friends of his get into other hero schools too!

5- Once at UA, Izuku defines sets about to define “boundaries” for his new classmates: what you can’t touch, Mineta, what you shouldn’t ask, Kaminari, what you shouldn’t assume, Iida, and- seriously, Kacchan? Haven’t you learned to not use your quirk on people when they tell you not to? it’s been years. you should be smart enough to figure it out.

Uraraka will end up being his second in command at inspiring their classmates with boundaries. Izuku was ready to be her best friend the second she apologized for stopping his fall with her quirk without asking, she just didn’t want him to trip. And honestly... Todoroki’s gonna take all their power combined to help.

+1- After Hosu, Izuku considers the LoV to be free game, since they have now twice trespassed his clearly established boundaries and hurt people. They don’t even make it to Kamino.

BNHA: Kakashi dimension hops crossover (8)

Summary: Kakashi gets dumbed into the My Hero Academia universe through random plot devise.

The view from the window in Wada’s office is of tall, glass covered buildings and what must be a railway looping around them. The train that zips along the tracks travels at speeds far surpassing similar technologies available in the Land of Snow. The Land of Snow’s chakra rich atmosphere allowed its trains and other technology to run on a mix of chakra and steam generated electricity. It was a combination prone to overheating and blowing up, meaning it was only really viable in cold climates. Kakashi hadn’t cared enough to follow up on the Land of Snow’s rail system after delivering the initial intel to Konoha’s intelligence division. Large scale infrastructure was only an asset in a country so isolated that there was no major risk of it getting targeted by enemy nations. The speed of the trains in Hosu have him reevaluating that assessment.

“Hatake?”

Konoha used steam to generate its own electricity as far as Kakashi was aware, the specifics of which escaped him. All he knew was that it was resource intensive, its exact location was marked ‘need to know’ and only half the village’s buildings were connected to it. The power generation system used to move Hosu’s trains at such a speed might be worth investigating. It was obviously more efficient than Konoha’s system if it powered the train and all the infrastructure around him.

“Hatake?”

Kakashi shifts his gaze back to Wada’s office and away from the city, propping up his elbow on the arm of his wheelchair so he can lean against it.

“Hatake,” Wada crosses his arms, pushing back on his chair so he rolls out from behind his desk, “Are you listening? If you’re tired, we can have this conversation tomorrow.”

He tilts his head to the slide to meet the doctor’s disapproving stare.

“You want my personal information for a residency application. We were also about to run through my diagnosis and tests results,” Kakashi idly summarises Wada’s last few minuets of lecturing. “I would like to hear what the quirk specialist has to say about my quirk,” he adds, trying to inject a little enthusiasm into his voice so he is not immediately wheeled back to his room for another week of rest.

“Please call me Kakashi,” he throws in as an afterthought.

“Yes. Yes. Kakashi then.” Wada waves the correction away, “I’m going to need more than a name if you want further aid from the City. After your discharge you’ll be left high and dry at this rate. Don’t think I don’t see you trying to avoid the topic.”

Wada’s irritation has Kakashi nodding along for good measure, prompting the doctor to continue talking with a sigh of mild frustration, “This is all quite complicated. At the moment, you’re being treated under Tokyo’s District Collateral Damage Scheme which would usually extend to relocation, occupation support, and asset recovery. However as the investigation into the attack on your person hasn’t linked it to any credible Villain activity, you’ll need to be a resident of Japan to receive further support.”

Wada frowns at him, “That’s a problem seeing as we see can’t find any of your records.”

“Hmm,”

“You have no birth certificate, citizenship information, school records, place of residence, career history or passport,” Wada lists, “Are you absolutely sure Hatake Kakashi is the name we need to be searching under?”

There is another pause where a reply would usually go. Kakashi finally lets his full attention sit squarely on Wada, taking in his mildly irritated expression and how his eyebrows are drawn together in a slight frown. The man is leaning forward, arms crossed, irritate but keen for a response. Kakashi habitably scans for signs of deception.

“Why.” Kakashi finally asks, voice dropping flat as be briefly lets his suspicions seep into this tone. The medical attention he could understand. Doctor Wada was being paid by the hospital to give him medical care because of its poor patient vetting. This other help wasn’t medical attention. Kakashi wasn’t Wada’s friend, ally, or family member. He doesn’t have ties to the man outside of being his patient and he knows Wada doesn’t pay this much attention to his other patients.

Wada huffs, throwing up his hands, moving from vaguely annoyed to openly exasperated. If Wada hears the underlining threat in Kakashi’s question, he wilfully ignores it.

“You walk out of hospital like this, and you’ll be jobless on the streets by sunset. Rent. Jobs. Bank accounts. They all need identification. Best we get this sorted while you still have access to the hospital’s resources.”

“And you do this for everyone?” Kakashi asks sceptically, because Wada has obviously misunderstood him.

“Humph.” Wada grunts, “Most of my patients have relatives and friends visiting every few days and aren’t missing all their personal records. Helping people isn’t just for the Heroes you know. Us regular people like to give it a go every now and then as well.”

Kakashi stares as the man gives a resolute nod like his had given a valid answer to Kakashi’s question. What did being a Hero have to do with anything?

“I see.” He really didn’t but maybe this was a normal doctor thing to do? This world was so strange.

“Unfortunately, I don’t remember anything else of use,” Kakashi repeats. It was probably the most truthful he has been since waking. Kakashi has no further information for Wada revenant to his lack of records.

“Yes, very unfortunate,” Wada sounds ever so slightly disappointed, “unfortunate for you. I’m not a miracle worker. You’re going to have issues with this lack of records.” He rolls back behind his desk, yanking out a stack of paper held together with thick metal clips. As he shifts objects on the desk around to clear space, Wada continues, “I might be able to get you a job interview with a friend of mine and I might be able to get you into some city subsidized housing. But that’s an iffy might…all I can promise.”

Never mind that Kakashi hasn’t asked for anything since his arrival.

Wada slaps the stack of paper down on the desk flipping it in Kakashi’s direction and sliding across towards him. “You can show your appreciation by paying attention. Your medical records are the only thing we do have at the moment.”

Kakashi examines the booklet, raising a questioning eyebrow. On top of it is one of those plastic communication rectangles. Phones. It is black with a black screen.

“This is my old phone, no sim card but you’ll be able to connect to the Hospital’s internet. I’ll see if I can get you a charger tomorrow and set you up with patient access account.”

Wada moves the phone to one side.

“This is you’re recovery plan. I took the liberty of printing it out for you. Though with your quirk it’ll probably be a waste of paper.” Wada follows the sentence up with a quick, “Once you’re cleared to use it. Which you’re currently not. Don’t even think about it.”

Kakashi raises a hand in a loose calming motion.

“…and on the topic of your quirk….” Wada fusses around, patting himself down muttering, “Where is it. I swear if I lose another pen…Ah.” He pulls out a pen, leaning forward to scribble out a line of numbers and letters.

“You’re Registry ID. Won’t be for active for another week at least. But, once it is, if anyone gives you trouble for using your quirk in public you can tell them to go look up your file. I sent all your information off to be assessed and your quirk is probably going to be registered as ‘passive biological’ which is an automatic Licence Waiver if I’m remembering my law correctly.”

“Don’t quote me on that. I’m a doctor, not a legal professional. And just because you can use it, doesn’t mean you should. High Stress quirks need to be carefully managed.”

Wada reaches over and flips the booklet open, tapping the page.

“Your quirk puts a huge strain on your brain. Specifically, it strains your memory and vision processing centres. The expert opinion is that your body’s fast regenerative factor has naturally evolved to offset this physical stress.” Wada hums, pausing in his explanation to check that Kakashi is following. “Unfortunately, even with this mutation your quirk is maladaptive at best actively destructive at worst.”

Kakashi glances at the page Wada is scribbling on. It has a diagram of a brain with serval areas now circled in blue pen ink.

“See this area here. This shows high activity. And see how it how activity increases when your quirk is active.” Wada flips the page, “And then activity in these outer sections of your brain drops to practically zero? None of this is good in the long term.”

Wada clears his throat, “A lot of your body’s resources are being devoted to vision and memory processing and it has led to enlargement and increased activity in these areas. This sort of imbalance in the brain has been connected to depression, paranoia, anxiety, chronic stress and panic disorders. Something you’ll need to keep an eye on it and I have noted on your registry file when it comes time for your annual quirk check-up. I have also taken the liberty of scheduling some initial psychologist appointments with Hosu General.”

All this sounds somewhat familiar. He thinks in he has ben given similar warnings about sharingun and dojutsu users being more prone to severe paranoia episodes by medic-nin.

Honestly, with the rate Uchiha went loopy, he is not surprised to find out that the sharigun messed with the brain in other ways. He had always just chalked it up to the unpleasantness of having to retain perfect memories of comrades dying gruesomely.

Of course, he had never hung around the hospital long enough to get a proper diagnosis and assessment of his sharingun beyond an understanding that he should keep use to a minimum. The Uchiha had had their own medical centres for sharingan related ailments which he’d been unwelcome in before they had all disappeared along with the clan. Not like knowing meant much in the long run. It wouldn’t stop him from using it. The sharingan was the most powerful weapon at his disposal. Better to overuse it and suffer hypothetical future consequences then underuse it and watch his allies die.

“…and there is no cure for this?” he asks to cover his bases because he wasn’t the only shinobi with a dojutsu that messed with brain activity and maybe this strange world had something useful to bring back.

“Unfortunately, research into ocular quirks is still in its infancy. However, these sort of maladaptive characteristics aren’t uncommon in third generation quirks. An unfortunate result of a quirk mutating quicker than the body can handle or an individual inheriting a quirk from their parents but not developing the accompanying physical mutations necessary for that quirk to function properly. For now, your memory loss has been diagnosed as an Externally Triggered Quirk Incompatibility Event resulting in detriment or damage to the quirk user. ETQI Events are quite common in individuals with high stress quirks.”

The way Wada waits again for Kakashi to respond is more evidence towards his growing suspicion that Wada was beginning to doubt that his memory loss was as extensive as he had been implying.

This time Kakashi doesn’t answer because his attention is pulled away to focus on unusual movement above the city.

A large bat-like creature flashes across the now dark sky, diving in between the buildings. Since arriving in this world Kakashi has seen serval types of loud flying vehicle hovering or passing over the city. Enough to have grown use to the sight and sound of them passing overhead. Nothing this large and organic and this creature was definitely organic.

“Kakashi? Are you…. What in the world?”

In amongst the buildings there is a breif flash of orange light, and a trail of smoke can be seen raising upward. Despite it being mostly obscured by the tall structures, Kakashi knows an explosion when he sees one.

Wada stands abruptly, “Oh my…that’s the city centre,” he pushes around his desk so he can stand next to Kakashi.

There is another flash of light and the creature shoots back into the air above the buildings. Wada startles at the sight. So large flying creatures aren’t a normal occurrence for Hosu. Good to know.

“-Announcement; all staff refer to personal devises. Event level 2.-” can be heard through Wada’s office door, the announcement coming in from the hallway’s intercom. Wada is immediately distracted searching his pockets.

“A Level 2? In Hosu?” Wada questions, staring at the screened devise – phone, Kakashi mentally corrects- he frees from his pocket, reading through something. Emergency orders from the hospital.

Kakashi notes the alert as he flips up the soft medical eyepatch and pulls off the bandage-tape covering his sharingun so he can better track the creature’s trajectory across the darkened skyline. The fact that Wada isn’t yelling at Kakashi about his sharingun use tells him that a Level 2 is serious business.

The creature’s flight is sporadic, like it has sustained an injury to one of its wings and trying to escape whatever caused it. The creature is also on a collision course with one of those highspeed trains Kakashi had noted earlier.

“-Announcement; all staff refer to personal devises. Event level 2.-”

Kakashi watches, his sharingun catching the moment the creature rams into a train in perfect detail even at the considerable distance. The side-carriage buckles inward and the train is flung partially off its rails, momentum abruptly slowing.

He can’t hear collision at this distance, but Kakashi thinks the hospital building tremors ever so slightly. Whether the tremor is from the train crash or another explosion closer in the city he can’t tell.

At this point Wada has stopped staring at his phone and is following Kakashi’s line of focus. The man inhales sharply in alarm, rushing forward to press against the window.

“That’s the main line!”

Cautiously, Kakashi stands from his wheelchair to follow, approaching and eyeing the train and then the city. He can pick out four smoke trails wafting up from among the buildings but nothing is close to the hospital. Yet. In a citywide attack a hospital is a logical target.

The flying creature falls away from the smashed-up side-carriage like it has been blown backward by a powerful shockwave. It flounders in the sky for a second, disoriented, raising higher then dropping into uncoordinated wonky dive. Of course, the dive puts it in line with the hospital, his eye allows him to make the calculations automatically, tracking the trajectory.

It is on a collision course with the section of building Kakashi is currently occupying. If the creature didn’t slow or turn, its impact with the building would probably take out a portion of the upper floors, including Wada’s office.

A little chakra enhancement and Kakashi kicks the glass from the window in front of him. It was best not to retreat into the hospital as he doesn’t know if the building’s structure was sound enough to withstand the collision. It was a safer bet to escape outside where he would have more room to manoeuvre.

The window shatters, glassing spraying out and falling onto the pavement that ran the perimeter of the hospital.

“Holly S…. “Wada begins to exclaim and is interrupted when Kakashi snags the doctor by the arm and throws the man over his shoulder, winding him in his haste. He then turns and in one sweeping motion swipes his recovery plan and phone off Wada’s desk, crouching fit through the window frame, and jumps, dropping straight down.

There is the loud crunch and screech of metal and glass twisting up above him as the creature rams the side of the building. Kakashi lands and darts further along the path and away to avoid falling brick and glass.

Around him the civilians, who had been distracted staring at the explosions and smoke rising from further in the city, turn at the noise created by the impact. Then there is a lot of panicked yelling as people scatter in all directions.

“Back away! Move away from the wall! Please stay back from the road!” Two uniformed policemen come jogging towards the crash site, unsuccessfully attempting to re-direct the streams of fleeing people. It’s a lot of uncoordinated chaos as people spill out onto the roads around the hospital and get in the way of oncoming vehicles which subsequently crash into one another.

It is all very chaotic up until a short grey-haired man in a yellow onesie drops to the pavement few meters from where Kakashi had initially landed, right under the flying creature. Yellow-onesie-man turns to order the policemen to keep civilians back before propelling himself up the building in long leaps worthy of any respectable shinobi, kicking out and knocking the creature off the building, manoeuvring around several uncoordinated retaliatory attacks. A ‘pro-Hero,’ Kakashi decides, tracking yellow-onesie-man’s quick decisive strikes and dodges. He had noted that Heroes tended dress bright and flashy to attach as much attention as possible.

It obviously works as, around him, the civilians who had previously been fleeing in blind adrenalin fuelled fear seam to calm, focusing on yellow-onesie-man and his efforts to redirect the creature away from the hospital.

Kakashi watches the fight long enough to confirm that it was not headed in his direction. Relatively certain he is not about to be suddenly attacked or rammed into by the panicking crowd he loosens his grip on Wada, bending to let the man down. Kakashi slouches, attention split between his immediate surroundings and tracking the fight as it moved out onto the road.

“Offices,” Wada, who had been uncharacteristically silent, exclaims. He stumbles back and plonks down onto the pavement, landing on his ass, “Those are the third and fourth floor are offices,” The man is staring up at the damaged upper floors of the hospital. “It’s afterhours…there won’t have been anyone working…I should have been the only one in this late,” he mutters.

Kakashi habitually scans the structure. The damage isn’t bad all things considered. There is a lot of broken windows and a significant hole on the fourth floor, but it is shallow, only penetrating a few meters into the building, meaning the flying beast had attempted to pull up at the last second, lessoning the impact. Probably hadn’t managed to smash through any of the supporting walls so they wouldn’t have to worry about the building immediately collapsing. The third floor has broken windows and damage to the outer wall which wasn’t dangerous unless you were standing right next to the glass at impact.

“Hmm, probably no casualties…the rooms on the fourth floor are empty. Aside from us,” Kakashi confirms. He had stalked the doctor enough to know when there were and weren’t people in the rooms surrounding his office. The air also lacked that strong stench of blood that so often accompanied a person being crushed by rubble. Even the stink of this people-filled city wouldn’t have been able to block that out.

Wada blinks up at him. “How did you get us down here so fast?”

“I believe I jumped.”

“… how in the world does a memory quirk let you land a four-story drop on a leg that is still injured?”

Kakashi gives a bland smile, scratching his chin thoughtfully, “You know what, I don’t know. Must be an ETQI Event, you did say it affected memory.” He holds up his recovery plan for emphasis.

Wada’s response to that is silent, open-mouthed disbelief.

“I should have retired last year and followed my sons advise. I’m getting too old for this,” the doctor finally mutters, rubbing his eyes, hand shaking ever so slightly. He lets out a long breath.

“You’re not injured, are you?” Kakashi asks, reminding himself that Wada is a civilian without chakra and thus doubly susceptible to injury.

Wada makes a show of checking himself over, “No. I suppose I’m not. Aside from the heart attack.”

“Isn’t that good news.”

“Oh yes, wonderful news,” Wada huffs, “Always good news when my patient who shouldn’t be walking jumps out a window to save my life.”

Kakashi hums, watching the man struggle to stand. All shaky. Adrenaline would do that if you weren’t used to it.

He bends and grabs a hold of the doctor’s shirt to pull him to his feet, holding him still for a second until he was sure Wada could support his own weight. Aside from looking a little windswept the man is no worse for wear.

Once standing, Wada finally takes proper stock of his surroundings, “Well, isn’t this terrible.”

By now the Hero has drawn the flying creature down the road and far enough away from the building that a number of the hospital staff are rushing out to inspect the damage. Several alarms are sounding in the building at varying levels of shrillness, there is the loud crunch of metal hitting metal as the Hero’s fight knocked into hastily abandoned vehicles, and behind it all people are yelling instructions and questions at each other.

“I’m going assist with any evacuating or patient care where I can. You need to follow the directions of hospital staff and get yourself settled somewhere safe. We can discuss all this later,” the doctor orders as his shakiness dies down.

“Hmm.”

Kakashi flicks open his recovery plan, sharingan stamping the information into his brain. He would devote some time to considering it later. Now that the cat’s out of the bag he doesn’t need to worry about maintaining a façade in front of Wada. Quickly, he flips through the booklet. The whole process takes barely a minuet.

“Thank you, but I think I’ll be off,” Kakashi says simply, handing his recovery plan back to Wada, “you were right about the waste of paper.”

Kakashi pulls the eye patch back over his eye, turning away from the hospital. “I’ll keep this though,” he holds up the phone.

As he begins to wonder away, Wada splutters, “Wait. Where are you going?”

“Mah,” he waves a hand lazily without turning, “I’m going to find my memories. I’ve lost them on the road of life and I need to retrace my steps.”

In some ways he is glad to have had this opportunity to save Wada’s life. It meant he could walk away without feeling indebted. It was also the push he needed to finally make a decision on what he wanted to do with three years of prospective down time. Explore this world a little. Gather intel without having to worry about hospital staff and other civilians getting in the way. Watch everything from afar for a while before trying to seriously integrate in with the locals. Find somewhere secure to get a proper night’s sleep and to properly start experimenting with his chakra and other potential ways home. Idly, he scans the road full of stopped cars and scattered civilians, picking a direction that would take him adjacent to the Hero’s fight. This would be a good opportunity to observe Heroes and see quirks used in proper combat.

“You’re not even dressed properly?” Wada calls after him.

“My first stop.” Of course, he would need to acquire a set of cloths that weren’t a hospital gown, pyjama pants, and flimsy slippers.

“Hold on a second,” Wada hurries around to stand in front of him, forcing him to stop. Kakashi arcs a brow at the forwardness.

“Whatever trouble you were in before now doesn’t matter. I don’t care enough about the memories you may or may not have or your quirk. I’m too old to worry about all that stuff these days. You’re young enough to deserve options. Think about it. A sensible job and a place to live. Sure, it’s not exciting, and it all gets a bit dreary every now and then but it’s a far cry better than bleeding out in an ally after being stabbed in the chest.”

Kakashi eyes the man not bothering with a smile. He lets his stare stay bland, face expressionless in that way that would have any sensible person dropping the topic of conversation.

Wada keeps talking, “I’ve seen plenty Villains find their place in society and make honest men of themselves. Not exactly easy but it is doable…with help. Help the hospital can give you.”

Ah…this man was like Naruto in a way… he’s concocted some backstory for Kakashi that likened him to this word’s version of missing-nin and is now attempting to reintegrate him whatever passed for a hidden village here. He is still parcelling out the details on how everything fit together in this world but he thinks he has this analogy somewhat correct.

“That wouldn’t quite work for me,” Kakashi loosens, slipping around Wada fast enough that the man stumbles, hopping up onto the roof of a crashed vehicle so he can jump between them and more easily cross the road.

“Bye bye.”
