Tis the Season to be Jolly my Nuggets!

It is once again that time of year to send in your favorite actors, soloists, and group members for the 'Tis the Season 2023 Event. Originally, I was going to have the same rules as the previous two events, but with the addition of KDrama / KMovie characters to my masterlist I'm changing a few things. Every week of the event I will write for one artist/character/actor/soloist/group member of my choice or that I haven't written for before (this is to get some variety in these events since it does feel like I tend to write for the same people every time). These will be listed on the calendar below with those respective prompts. Seven (7) requests for actors and group members will be accepted (meaning for each category). Six (6) requests for soloists and drama/movie characters will be accepted (for each category). Like before, no repeats and only one celeb per prompt unless the prompt directly calls for it. I also ask that when requesting for soloists to please, please, request intially for the soloists listed on my masterlist (or suggest new ones for a quick drabble. i'm very open and did it for the 3 year event). I will take requests for group members who also promote as soloists later on in the requesting period when I feel like enough time has passed to accept them. Now all of that is out of the way, I do have a few things I wanted to express to all of you.

I want to thank you for the wonderful year and support I have received this 2023 season. [📰] 20 Questions With P1Harmony: K-Pop Rookies on the High Energy of 'Disharmony: Break Out' Mini-Album

P1Harmony explore a wide range of topics and genres on their high-intensity mini-album Disharmony: Break Out, which was released April 20 as the follow-up to their first EP, Disharmony: Stand Out.

Named one of the rookie K-pop groups to watch in 2021 by Time, members Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul and Jongseob had a unique experience stepping into the spotlight for the first time: The sextet debuted in the Korean film P1H: The Beginning of a New World on Oct. 8, 2020, before releasing their debut EP, Disharmony: Stand Out, on Oct. 28. Starring in a film prior to releasing their own music allowed P1Harmony to be more comfortable and confident enhancing their choreography (their Billie Eilish medley choreography has amassed more than 1 million YouTube views) and even coming up with their own music video concepts.

To commemorate the release of Disharmony: Break Out, the members of P1Harmony answered Billboard’s 20 questions about how Korea shaped who they are, how their evolving sound shines through on their latest mini-album, and the meanings they've taken away from this project as well as what they hope their fans will too.

1. What’s the first piece of music that you bought for yourself, and what was the medium?

3. What did your parents do for a living when you were a kid?

Keeho: [My mom] used to do work related to music, she was a musician. My dad used to work at a university as a counselor.

Theo: My mom is a hairstylist.

Jiung: My mom used to be a banker and my dad used to work at National Tax Service.

Intak: My mom is a [yoga] trainer or coach and my dad is a businessman.

Soul: I’m not sure.

Jongseob: My mom used to be a jazz dancer as well as an instructor and my dad used to work at National Dance Company of Korea.

4. Who made you realize you could be an artist full-time?

Keeho: Myself and acquaintances

Theo: Myself

Jiung: My rap and my vocal coach

Intak: My parents. They gave me full support, as well as the confidence to be able to pursue my dream.

Soul: Teen Top

Jongseob: B.A.P and my parents

5. What’s at the top of your professional bucket list?

Keeho: The Grammys!

Theo: Our own world tour!

Jiung: To perform in front of a million people

Intak: To become a respected musician

Soul: To perform at a big music festival or a stadium, like Coachella

Jongseob: To perform until I can’t

6. How did your hometown/city shape who you are?

Keeho: It’s a place where I was able to gain my own confidence and learn the importance of being friendly [manners]. It’s also where I was able to experience a wide range of vocalists and their styles, which ultimately helped me shape and find my own vocal style.

Theo: It’s a place where I was able to live without any pressure or concerns.

Jiung: For me, my hometown is currently a place where I can find mental stability and state of relaxation. I reminiscence about my hometown quite frequently when I need to recoup and find mental stability.

Intak: I was raised in the rural part of Korea, so I was always close to nature and grew up playing in the valleys or riding gunny sacks in the mountains. I think that’s what helped me be at leisure.

Soul: It’s a place where I grew up without any hardships.

Jongseob: It was one of the most comfortable places in Korea with positive vibes and clean, refreshing air, which helped me find peace and ease.

7. What’s the last song you listened to?

Keeho: Ariana Grande’s "POV"

Keeho: Beyoncé

10. How has the pandemic affected your creative process?

Keeho: My source of inspiration has become very limited, as I don’t get to go to new places or meet new people.

Theo: I think because I couldn’t really go out, I was able to focus more on my craft.

Jiung: I was able to really dig deep into my work, writing lyrics and composing.

Intak: I didn't have a lot of ideas, but I also thought writing about COVID-19 could be a source of new ideas.

Soul: It was hard because I couldn’t really go to places that would usually help me get inspiration.

Jongseob: It was a bit difficult because I lacked having new experiences and meeting new people. My source of inspiration was also very limited, because I would just go to the same places.

11. How did starring in the film P1H: The Beginning of a New World prepare you for your debut as a K-pop boy band?

Keeho: I think it was a good opportunity for me to learn how to be more comfortable in front of the cameras.

Theo: I was able to gain confidence and felt a sense of pride knowing that we were the first ones to debut in a unique way with a full-length movie.

Jiung: I think it was a unique way of introducing us to the world and gave us the opportunity to learn how to be more focused and theatrical onstage.

Soul: It was a great experience, because it allowed me to learn the basic manners of the industry and the importance of staff members.

Jongseob: I think it helped us build a strong storyline and composition for our music. It will be easier to understand our music and its message if you watch the movie.

12. What do you want fans to take away from your mini-album Disharmony: Break Out?

Keeho: I believe it would depend and vary on how you interpret it, but we hope our listeners really enjoy our music.

Theo: I hope our fans and listeners gain confidence through our music, which is one of our strongest messages.

Jiung: I would like for our fans P1ece to really understand, take and gain everything from what we are trying to deliver in our message.

Intak: I would like for our fans to find the courage to speak up and have their own voice.

Soul: I just want our fans to be happy when they're listening to our music!

Jongseob: I think it depends on who is listening, but I hope our fans can take away anything and everything they can in a positive way and earn confidence as well.

13. Which song from Disharmony: Break Out is the most meaningful to you and why?

Keeho: I think it’s "If You Call Me" because it's a song that all six of us worked on together

Theo: I would like to pick "Reset," because I did so well in the studio while recording this song, so it means a lot to me.

Jiung: I’d say "Pyramid" because the lyrics "I’m on the top of the pyramid" helps me feel like I’m really the best and makes me want to live by that mindset. It definitely has become one of my favorite tracks.

Intak: I would pick "If You Call Me" for the same reason Keeho picked it. It’s a meaningful song to me because we all worked on it together as a team.

Soul: I think every single track on the album has a special meaning for me and because it’s all our songs, it’s a super difficult question to answer.

Jongseob: I think for me, our title track "Scared" is the most meaningful. The message of the song, which is not to be afraid to voice your own opinions and to live the life you want to live, is what I strongly believe in and that’s the kind of attitude I want to have.

14. Your debut EP Disharmony: Stand Out is much more hip-hop leaning, while your second features more R&B harmonies and EDM production while still refining the rap verses. What made you want to switch up your sound in only a manner of six months?

Keeho: I think we wanted to really make sure our message is being delivered clearly and strongly, so I think that’s why we picked tracks that were as strong with aggressive sounds.

Jiung: I don’t think we had a special moment or particular reason as to why we decided to do what. We just wanted to portray our feelings and thoughts that we felt at that moment while making music, and the time that we spent in between our albums, is what probably contributed to the change of sound as well.

Intak: As Keeho mentioned, I think we wanted to stand out a bit more with more clarity and distinct characteristics, which is what drove the aggressiveness and the slight change of sounds for this album.

15. Since you help choreograph and conceptualize your videos, what do you hope to convey in the accompanying visuals for Disharmony: Break Out?

Keeho: As you can see in our choreography for "Scared," we incorporated football into our routine. Football is a sport that is very aggressive and requires a lot of energy so we thought it was a good fit with our song. With these specific key points, we tried to really emphasize our message as well as our energy.

Jiung: I think our choreography, stage outfits, and concept all adds up and helps level up the intensity of the song as well as the message that we want to deliver. Our music video and choreography really turned out well, so I hope our fans appreciate and enjoy it!

16. Which artist is on your bucket list to collaborate with?

Keeho: Ariana Grande

Theo: BIGBANG, Taeyang, G.Soul, Dean

Jiung: Ty Dolla $ign

Intak: Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky

Soul: Les Twins

Jongseob: Penomeco, Smino

17. What’s one thing that even your most devoted fans don’t know about you?

Keeho: I really don’t like long nails. I just can’t stand it, so I tend to always keep my nails short.

Theo: I don’t really sweat. I don’t think I sweat at all.

Jiung: I have a habit of chewing the inside of my mouth, unintentionally.

Intak: My lips are naturally moisturized so I don’t need to use a lip balm to make them glossy!

Soul: I have dermographism, so even the slightest irritation like a scratch will leave a mark/scar for a while.

Jongseob: I have a slim waist and biggest feet of all members.

18. What movie, or song, always makes you cry?

Keeho: I don’t really cry, so I don’t think there’s a movie that ever made me cry.

Theo: The Korean movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 makes me cry every single time I watch it.

Jiung: Korean traditional children’s song "Daddy Cheer Up" makes me tear up.

Intak: I have a couple, but if I had to just pick one, it’d be the movie Forrest Gump.

Soul: I don’t cry like Keeho so I have never cried watching something and I just don’t like to watch sad movies.

Jongseob: "Falling Slowly"

19. What’s one piece of advice you would give to your pre-debut self?

Keeho: Don’t worry too much and work harder.

Theo: Think 100 times before acting on it.

Jiung: Are you truly sincere?

Intak: Enjoy life a bit more.

Soul: Be more emotionally stable.

Jongseob: It's never too late.

20. What does a successful 2021 look like for you?

Keeho: I hope to release as much music as we can!

Theo: I wish we can make at least 3 comebacks.

Jiung: I hope to gain more emotional peace and stability.

Intak: "Rookie of the Year" award!

Soul: There’s a necklace I really want to buy and I hope to buy it by the end of this year!

Coogie‘s 8-track mixtape “I Got A Feeling” came out!

I loved his last album so much that Coogie was my most listened artist last year. As a consequence, my expectations were high, and I can’t post this without adding my opinions :D

1. I Got A Feeling (prod. BMTJ)

It’s a solid typical Coogie song. I hope he’ll perform it live (on the internet :D) sometime so we can enjoy his live singing. Coogie has this rare skill of singing rap where he can actually hit the notes AND do the rap without autotune or running out of breath, it’s amazing^^ I didn’t know the producer well, but checked and he has worked with Big Naughty, Huh!, Bill Stax and others. 2. What (feat. Wonstein) (prod. Vangdale, Kwonseyoung)

I guess this is my favorite song! I don’t really follow Wonstein, he seemed more a singer than a rapper to me, but here he raps so nicely I like it! His voice is nice, it sounds cute :D And I don’t even have to mention I love getting the original GXXD producing. Their little guitar riff and chill base line are such a nice signature sound that makes them always recognizable <3 Everyone’s styles and musical personalities blend so prettily in this song.

3. Out of my way (feat. The Quiett) (prod. Roots, Vangdale)

This is funny because in their other collab on Coogie’s last album, Coogie also said “get out of my way” :D I have to admit, so far I haven’t really likes Roots‘ beats but I don’t know whether it’s because of Vangdale or Coogie, or because Roots changed, but it’s great! :D

4. Swoosh (feat. lIlBOI) (prod. Spray)

This reminds me so much of Spray’s other song Jangjeon. Maybe a bit too much… :D but either way, both songs are great and I’ll listen happily :D And lIlBOI sounds also cute (even if the lyrics aren’t haha) so :) :D

5. SWIPE (feat. Ourealgoat, Lil Nekh) (prod. Boycold)

Smol question: Are H1GHR and Yelows Mob adopting Ourealgoat foreal? Ever since Hwimin “discovered” him they seem to be after him and while I would not have expected that, I’m not complaining 😁 Both Ourealgoat and Lil Nekh are referencing/re-using old raps, idk if that’s a concept of this album... :D It’s a fresh mix of people who I didn’t expect to come together like this. I’d also want to hear Coogie sing this live^^ And it’s nice to hear from Boycold who hasn’t been very active lately.

6. UP & DOWN (feat. Mirani, Penomeco) (prod. Groovyroom)

I know this was pre-released but I didn’t talk much about it then, so: Groovyroom! They’ve been doing not much? One song here and there? And they haven’t worked with Coogie a lot. It’s nice to have them on this album. Ever since they announced they want to change from hip-hop to electronic music, I’ve been a bit skeptical and I also didn’t like some of their songs, but here (and on Sik-K’s album too btw) they mixed their new style nicely with the main artist’s style, so now it’s like a “regular” hip-hop beat with some fresh additions that distinguish the song a bit from others, and it sounds unique.

7. Hold Up (prod. Lil Xasimi)

This might be my second favorite because of the beat :D It’s a niceu solid song. Lil Xasimi is a rather new producer who is close with, but not a member of, FA. He produced for Blase and Khan before and recently released his first own song. @/lilxasimi. Coogie’s rap is smooth fast perfect as always, do I even need to mention it. You know how with some rappers, you get annoyed when in a good song, some lines don’t rhyme or only weirdly/badly, or they run out of lyrics and just go uh uh for two lines, or they just don’t understand to ride on the beat? This will never happen with Coogie, he’s so reliable at always delivering perfect raps <3

8. Kilo (Bonus Track) (prod. Dive, furyfromguxxi)

First 4 seconds: I know this sample. :D This happens so often that I almost get annoyed sometimes, but I can let it slide for many reasons :D – it’s Coogie so it’s just gonna sound good – I really like the sample/beat – I never heard from this producer and Coogie must be supporting a newbie producer like this. It’s okay that he doesn’t make the complete thing by himself yet. ALSO I was wondering why they called it “Bonus Track” but I guess that (probably free beat) might be the reason, so it’s ok. I’m just not sure what Dive is credited for? :D It’s a nice song! (If you want to know where I heard it first: Kash Bang – Married to the money.)

As expected, a perfect, smooth, no-skip album again! Coogie is showing off his skills as well as his collection of talented producer friends :D Absolutely recommend!!

Pairing: Zico x Fem! reader

It has been about a year since my heartbreaking break up and six months since Zico and I have been together. With the help of my brother, Zico, and our friends I eventually healed. Hanbin was my first love, my high school sweetheart, so he will always have a piece of my heart. I will always love him, however, that doesn’t mean that I am in love with him.

Jiho got me to come out of my warm shell and fall into the cold world. He got me so confident that I auditioned at a small entertainment company, with reasonable rules. I get to debut tomorrow with my songs, I will show you (A/n: ori. By Aliee) and Perhaps love ft Zico,and we will be singing Zico’s song soulmate. My debut stage was a huge success and it is mostly thanks to my boyfriend zico, we are both going to be on weekly idol together along with Ikon. I am very nervous to see Hanbin again but I will have Jiho by my side. When we get to Weekly idol’s set the host introduces Ikon, then Zico, and lastly he says “Our final guest today is a recently debuted idol that is blowing up the charts with amazing songs. Please let’s welcome the one, the only….Y/N!!!”

I start to walk out as “I will show you" played over the speakers. When I am out in front of everyone I properly introduce myself when the music stops. “Hello everyone I am Y/n!” With a smile, I set down next Zico, “So, Y/n is there anyone here that you do not know?”

“No, I happen to know everyone here, BI and I went to school together. I met Ikon at a party my brother hosted where I also met Zico.” I say while leaving out the part about BI and I dating in case he has to be silent about it.

I see the host nod his head and ask BI about Ikon’s recent songs and the inspiration. “The songs I want to talk about the most are: perfect, love scenario, I’m okay, goodbye road, don’t forget, kill me, and apology. All these songs I wrote because of things that had happened in my first relationship. The relationship had lasted from age 13 to age 21, I messed up, really bad. I don’t go a day without regretting what I did greatly.”

“If I may ask what did you do to mess up that long of a relationship?” the host asks.

“Um...The last six months of my relationship I was unfaithful,-” Hanbin says while looking down

“Y/N, I regret every terrible act and every mean thing I said to you, the songs show a glimpse of how I felt about our relationship and how it ended. When I was writing a love scenario I was okay with us loving each other and parting with those memories. Then with I’m okay the regret started to kick in fast, I was barely sleeping. My mom, little sister, and bandmates resented me for at least six months and when people would ask how I was I would say ‘I’m okay.’ even though I was far from it. Goodbye road was about the last two months of our relationship, you no longer trusted me and all we did was fight. I honestly never intended to cause you pain. Apology is me apologizing for never being around or there the last six months of the relationship, killing me is me at the beginning and middle of my regret. I would be fine then I would stumble across pictures, songs, and couple items that would have a heavy effect on me. Even when I ignored your tears at the height of our break up I wanted nothing more than to say it’s okay while I wiped your tears. Don’t forget, simple I never wanted you to forget about us, the things we did, I didn’t want you to forget the good things about me. We were together from our young teenage year to when we were adults, I wanted to marry you when the time was right. I want you to be happy because for a long time you made me very happy. You didn’t deserve what I did to you and our relationship.” BI finished what he was saying with tears streaming down his face.

The host lets out a breath and asks me about my songs. “ My song I’ll show you is about me not feeling good enough. I did break up with BI but he was the one that decided to leave the moment he saw that other woman. This was me saying I was going to come back stronger, hotter, and happier and I wasn’t going to allow B.I to ever hurt me again. Don’t touch me was written right after my breakup because I was grossed out with what he had done and the fact that he had the nerve to crawl back to me to try to apologize for something he was not sorry for.”

“What about your songs perhaps love and a lot like love?” “A lot like love is the feeling of allowing myself to love again and hoping the person feels the same still, and perhaps love is when I started to question on when, how, and why I started to fall for the person a lot like love is about,” I say with a smile.

“If I may ask, do you still love Hanbin?”

With a sigh, I say “ Han bin was my very first love, even though I am no longer IN love with him that doesn’t necessarily mean that he doesn't still own a piece of my heart and honestly he always will.”

“Are you in a relationship now? And If so are you allowed to say who?” “Yes, as of six months ago I have been in a happy relationship.” I subtly side-eye zico to see if it is okay to go public. He nods once and grabs my hand, “With Zico!” I say as we hold are intertwined hands up.

Everyone lets out a noise of surprise with wide eyes “Really?” the host asks. “Yes it is very true, I along with hyoseob and more of our friends was there to help pick up the pieces to y/n shattered heart. I always made sure she got out into the world instead of sulking at home, I saw that she was writing amazing songs and I encouraged her to audition at an entertainment company.” Zico confesses.

“Are we allowed to know any more details on the breakup?” “Yes, because I don’t want rumors to start and I want everyone to be on the same page.” I pause then start again after a deep breath.

“It was Penomeco's Birthday party at the club, I invited BI to be my plus one, but he said that he had to work late at the studio. So I get ready and Zico picks me up. After 5 minutes of being at Peno's Party, Zico goes and gets me a drink, while I am waiting I go talk to DJ Millic. He points out that BI was there with another girl and I see Bi with this girl in his lap making out. When Zico gets back he sees that I am about to cry. Dean, Millic, and Zico drag Hanbin outside. My brother Crush takes me upstairs to comfort me. When Zico brought BI upstairs to me he had a black eye and a busted lip, he got on his knees and started to beg for me to forgive him. In return I said save it you’re only sorry you got caught. I then told him that I could not do this anymore and asked if he even loved me. He didn’t respond, so I told him that I wanted him out of my house and that he could live in the dorm. I proceeded to change the locks and my phone number only giving it to my inner circle and June because I knew he would not give it to BI.”

“wow...BI did you get beat up?”

“Yes, Y/n brother told me when we were dating that if I ever hurt her I would get beat up. Maybe it was not going to be him but it would happen. Zico was angry but he only wanted to talk and I knew that I deserved to get punched so I told the boys that they should do it for Y/N and crush. I was more scared of Crush punching me than I was of Zico and Millic. My advice for anyone who is thinking about cheating on their partner...Don’t it is not worth it in the end. Trust me I know.”

*TIME SKIP*

The news platforms have been blowing up with support for Zico’s and I’s relationship, there have even been fan accounts that have been made for us. Under our SNS pictures and posted comments like ‘Couple goals’ or ‘Fav couple’ and “My OTP’ were always found and occasionally I would get comments like “I am very glad that you and Zico are finally getting your guys happy ending.” of course there was some hate but the positive outweighs the hate.

I've been listening EXO-SC's first full album a lot. I liked all the songs from the first listen but as always some songs have grown on me more: Telephone ft. 10 cm's main vocalist, Fly Away ft Gaeko and Say it ft Penomeco. I think from their first mini album SC have shown not only how important for them is to be really involved in the creative process but it feels like they know exactly what kind of music they want to do and they have fun with it. Chanyeol was part of writing all the songs and Sehun also participated in most of the songs lyrics. This time they also worked on solo songs. Nothin' by Chanyeol is exactly the kind of music I love and I love the strong beat on Sehun's solo song. Finally, the title 1 billion views featuring Moon is a fun retro hip hop song that is produced by Gray.

I noticed that in the Korean Hip Hop world, there are many music labels that rappers sign under, and these groups are very similar to K-Pop, for their closeness and friendliness towards each other. That said, these artists create their own songs and albums, but all together, each music label has at least a few songs that are created with snippets of each rapper, like a cake and every rapper is an ingredient.

One combination song that is straight up fire is BAND by four members of Ambition Musik Group: CHANGMO, Hash Swan, ASH ISLAND, and Keem Hyoeun. The bands that they refer to are bands of money, and with their signature music clip of Hyoeun yelling “BITION BOYZ” in the background, the track pulls up and absolutely slaps. Automatically, I had to add this to my workout playlist because it made me feel like I was capable of ruling the world, and as others may call it, I felt like a “bad b!tch.” CHANGMO leads the boys and is almost always in charge of the hook, Hash Swan has his “lazy rap,” ASH ISLAND switches between emo rap and aggressive rap, and Keem Hyoeun raps with special attention to his pronounciation, popping his syllables.

Another song to listen to is IndiGO by Indigo Music Group—comprised of rappers JUSTHIS, Kid milli, NO:EL, and Young B. This song is the definition of AGGRESSIVE. When I first listened to this song, I felt a little overwhelmed because of the hard beat and the animalistic feel of the rappers as I imagined them almost spitting onto the microphone as they dropped their bars. From the first “Brilliant ... and Indigo” I was hooked, and as I listened to it more, I found myself bopping to the spitfire, my hair messy and loose and I did some kind of mosh-like movements in my bedroom.

Today, I learned that Korea has a lot of underground groups and these group members are always supporting each other through social media, reality tv shows, and even on their own songs. PENOMECO even introduces the other members of his group as his “music friends” on Show Me The Money 8, and I kind of got an understanding that these groups are like families and that’s a little different than in American Hip Hop.

hi guys!

pika here with my baby hyojin with some well needed updates! now that he’s gone through his run on the mgas, i have the ability to ( finally ) get back to threads i’ve been neglecting, as well as open up plots for new friends, as well as collaborations! more will be explained and listed out under the cut, but hyo and i would like to take a brief moment to thank everyone for taking good care of him so far, including the mods, fellow contestants ( whether they’ve interacted with him or not ), and everyone on dash in general for dealing with my shenanigans! i’m wishing the best of luck to everyone else in finals, and hope to have hyojin up and running with many new, exciting things!

now, onto the updates and plots:

STATUS

( FAMILY ): after seeing him on tv, his mom has periodically been calling to check in on him and support him! his aunt and uncle have done the same, also encouraging him to come and visit them in anyang for a few days once he’s done with the show ( which may happen soon ic before school starts up again for him! ) ; they’re quite glad to see him singing again, especially considering the fact that he enjoys it quite a bit, too.

financially, him and his mother are both doing better, as the debt she had before are entirely paid off, meaning that the stress on money is a little less despite still being present.

( FRIENDS - NPC ): some former hs friends back in anyang have called him to congratulate him as well! moreover, he’s now developed a bit of a popular reputation in uos as that guy who appeared on mgas, having already developed a bit of a name for his singing due to performing at seasonal festivals hosted by the school. as a result, he’s a little more out there amongst his peers in terms of being known. not exactly celebrity status, but his cheesy introductory lines have become somewhat of a trend across campus and online -- especially the healing voice one -- something which he is ( very ) embarrassed about.

( FRIENDS - NON-NPC ): after running into the new transfer on campus ( @rkwyatt ), hyojin has found himself getting closer to the male, despite being flustered by his advances.

he’s also putting more effort into hanging out and nurturing his relationship with his cousins @rkseungmin and @rkwonpil now that he has a lot more time.

the same applies for @rkseunghun, whom he plans on collaborating with more now that the both of them are eliminated.

finally, hyojin is supporting his remaining friends in the competition ( @rksakura, @danielxrk ), along with his royal teammates ( @rksuwoong, @ericxrk, @rkheejin, @rkkyungsoo ) for the final episode!

he’s also part of a band now with @rksophie, @rkmiyeon, @yuzurk, @rkseokjin, and @rksakura as the keyboardist and main vocal!

( EMPLOYMENT ): during the entirety of the program, hyojin has been working at his summer internship at motte finance firm, balancing both the job and practices. fortunately, he can get more sleep now, but nothing much has changed about this aspect, except for some of his co-workers congratulating him.

( MENTAL ): for the most part, hyojin is incredibly grateful for the good comments he’s received, as well as his final placement in semifinals. he’s ecstatic that his team won the top spot.

before entering the competition, he suffered from a lot of internal conflict about whether he wants to be a singer or not due to the financial instability of his family’s background, but after having his vocal capabilities validated by being on the show, he is now more confident in his desire to be an artist, albeit not to the extent where he’d quit his job or career path to do so. it’s more so just less of a guilty feeling for enjoying what he does.

his only regret is the possibility of @rktaeyang making it to finals instead had he not been eliminated instead of hyojin, but this insecurity isn’t particularly obvious, and he doesn’t really voice it out loud. he’s just glad that taeyang is doing fine, and hopes that the older male gets the acknowledgement that he deserves in the future.

despite the program playing a large role in his life for the past months or so, hyojin isn’t really the type to talk about it unless it’s brought up! otherwise, he’s just the same, sweet boy with slight wallflower tendencies that everyone knows likes to sing;;

people who can help him improve his dancing! he’s still not the best at it, but he’d really love for some more experience! in return, he can also share some vocal tips that he has!

he’s trying to get more fit lately to make good use of his stamina, so gym buddies, maybe?

music performance friends! people who guest perform at his uni’s festivals as well, so they know each other through that and can maybe collab?

he’s honestly a little too nice, and it makes you want to either protect him from any bad situations or teach him how to toughen up

not a must but! mga related plots too, if you’d like! as said above, he wouldn’t bring it up in normal circumstances, though! he’s pretty lowkey about these kinds of things;;
