Superman 2/Christopher Kent

The son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Christopher Kent grew up wanting to follow in his father's footsteps. Unfortunately, for some reason, his hybrid nature made his powers' strength inconsistent, even causing them to cut out at times. And then he met the Legion of Superheroes. Using 31st century technology they provided him with a suit that stabilized his powers and enhanced his solar radiation absorption. For several months he joined them in the future where he teamed up with a younger version of his father, restored the bottle city of Kandor, and met Thara Ak-Var who would return with him to his original time period.

In 1993 Christopher would fall defending Metropolis from the monster known as Doomsday
