#autumn I love u ….. had such a nice night last night !!!#worked rlly hard at the gym + came home + smoked and walked Winston right around sunset it was sooo beautifulll walking around the#neighborhood looking at the little sliver of the moon hearing ppl’s band practice in their garage seeing the birds 😌#did laundry and packed for my bday trip this weekend!#then watched buffy and did a longggg stretch routine with all my pretty bedroom lights#it was the last ep of season 4 actually I really loved it..!!!!!!#today is going to be long as hell dude going to run and get a haircut before work then I’m in the lab alll dayyyy until 8 pm 😴#lecturing and demo-ing monotype in class today tho so I can be more hands on :-) yay#ok . this turned into a little diary entry hahaha#hope u have a wonderful day <3#personal

i don’t have sewing pics from today to dump thoughts in the tags of so here r my boyz instead (charlie left joel right)
#this has been a text post#had a shit day at work bc my idiot manager didn’t schedule us heavily enough#couldn’t nap bc of fuckass daylight savings#had to pull an espresso shot to have the energy to walk charlie before sunset and do french zoom#took a bath but had no energy for homework today#movie night (30 rock) w lindsay was nice. that was great.#i’m just so so soooooo tired#the good news is that my lawyer is a magician fr and got my speeding ticket worked down to $48 & not on my record if i behave for 180 days#tomorrow i have other french zoom. but a shorter shift#work and school EXHAUSTING#i will also finish 30 rock either tomorrow or wednesday and i’m devastated#i don’t want it to be over!!!!#i watched this show all the way through almost exactly a decade ago#and watching it again has been like a spine adjustment but for my soul#like damn i was fucked up! i needed that!#ok gn

Harbeest paused. "Fhan," the beast coos, "Look at Pietre", his voice lowered to a whisper as to not catch the lich's attention.
Fhan looks up from their book, bringing a wing up to shield the setting sun's light from their eyes. Some several yards down the beach, past the rocky shore and at the water's edge was Pietre, sleeves rolled up wearing the all-too-big swimshorts Harbeest had found for him.
"What am I looking at?" The harpy mused, almost tempted to avert their gaze back to their book before Harbeest continued.
"Just watch him for a moment," Harbeest replied, gazing out at the sea.
Fhan watched as the elf started into the water. He was looking down, dodging the pebbles at the sea's edge and finding pockets of sand or larger rocks to stand on. Every now and then his feet would land uncomfortably on some rocks, or he would loose his footing, sending his arms out sideways and waving comically. Farther in sea would be more sand flats, though he still took care not to step on a stray stone or brush into clusters of sea grapes bobbing in the current.
"I'm not sure what you want me to look at, dear. It's going wading?" Fhan mused, ending with a chuckle as they watch the lich stumble against the waves.
"He could so easily ignore the stones, it would be far easier to simple lift himself up and drop himself in deeper water. But he's choosing to... oh, look, " Harbeest interrupts themself and raises a hand to point.
The lich had stopped mid step with water up to their knees, having drawn their attention momentarily away from the murky water. He found a comfortable place for his feet, and looked out across the sea. The sun was low on the horizon, the sky bleeding rainbow. The ocean glistened, gentle waves lapping at Pietre's legs, his body rocking back and forth slightly with the current. He put his hands in his pockets and stood still, staring out and watching the scene intently.
The harpy pair, too, spent time taking in the view. It wasn't until Pietre decided to continue his wander that Harbeest spoke again.
"Last year, when we came, I couldn't even get him to walk in the sand with me," Harbeest hummed with a smile. "It's nice to see him enjoying himself."

love the way everything looks in the summer and love the fact that its not too cold at night but its way too fucking hot outside right now i hate it here
#it is. 86 degrees and steadily getting warmer#and before youre like 'oh liv thats NOTHING compared to where im from! i wish it was 86 here!'
