I killed you in the Sims, I’m a terrible friend. for Flynn?
In between getting her fashion designer degree and managing Julie and the Phantoms, Flynn doesn't find herself with a plethora of free time. But in order to not go crazy from burnout, Julie suggests she take up a hobby.
"Maybe knitting? Luke's mom could teach you how."
And while Emily Patterson might have the patience of a saint, Flynn quickly learns that knitting is not for her, and abandons it after a few hours of attempting-and failing-at the perl stitch.
She's been banned from the kitchen after Carrie caught her trying to bake cookies at 500 degrees, so the culinary arts are out. She likes drawing, but given that is a huge part of her school, she doesn't find it exactly relaxing anymore.
:"Why not just play video games?" Reggie suggests. "I bet I could find you a cute little casual one-no shooting or galaxy saving involved."
So Reggie installs The Sims onto Flynn's computer, explains how to play, and tells her it has some design elements, but if she finds it too much like school he'll loan her his Switch and get her set up with Animal Crossing.
Flynn likes the design stuff-getting to make Sim versions of her friends, creating a mega huge house for them to live in (once Reggie taught her the motherlode cheat, of course) and making sure their needs are met.
It's relaxing in it's own way, to see how the little avatars interact and differ from their real life counterparts. She laughs out loud when SimJulie and SimLuke hate each other though, especially since her friends are getting ready to tie the knot in the real world.
However, Flynn also kind of likes the power to play God in this universe; dictating what all these little people can be and do. She makes Reggie a vampire for shits and giggles, knowing full well that he's petrified of them.
Only she forgets vampire lore, and has SimReggie go out on a gorgeous sunny day to tend to the flowers. And he immediately catches fire, burning right to a crispy pile of ash.
Reggie finds her crying over her keyboard a few moments later and rushes over. "Hey hey honeybear, what's wrong?"
"I-I killed yoooou in the Simmmmms," she wailed. "I'm a terrible friend! And an even worse girlfriend!"
Reggie looks at the screen where his Sim is naught but an urn, all his little Sim friends gathered around. "Did I at least go out cool like in a kitchen explosion or eaten by a giant Audrey 2 type plant?"
"What?" Flynn looks at him and sniffles, swiping at her watery eyes.
"Wait, did you do the whole let me drown in the pool by taking away the ladders bit?" Reggie asked. "Luke used to do that one all the time because I teased him about not knowing how to swim in real life."
"Luke doesn't know how to swim?" Flynn asked with a wet giggle.
"Well he knows now," Reggie admitted. "Me and Alex taught him because we wanted to surf and Luke refused to babysit the towel. He's still not great, but he can hold his own."
"Please tell me you have pictures," Flynn begged, gratefully taking the tissue Reggie handed her to clean her face.
"I might," he said with a sly smile. "If you tell me how I died."
"Oh, um... you got bit by a vampire and then burned up in the sun," Flynn finally admitted.
Reggie shuddered. "Well at least I didn't have to stay vampiric for long. Guess you'll just have to make a new me and add me to the household."
"Wait, you can do that?" Flynn asked.
"Sure, you can do lots of stuff," Reggie explained, showing her a few features she knew nothing about. "Or we could start from scratch and make a new family together."
"That sounds like fun," Flynn admitted.
"Just do me one favour?" he asked.
"Anything sweetpea."
"No vampires this time."
"Deal."

I've been having a tough time fixing a persistent light leak in my Olympus PEN FV half-frame film SLR. I replaced the light seals (twice!) to no avail. The leaks presisted.
So by my brother's advice, I inserted a roll of film, advanced it a few frames, fired a shot to mark the location of the shutter and let it stand on the sunny windowsill for a day. I then opened the camera in a dark bag, extracted the film and cut the used-up strip from the canister. I then loaded it into a patterson tank and developed the film.
I did this twice as the first time I didn't load the film into a reel and inserted with a light-blocking spool properly into my Patterson tank, which exposed the entire roll. My second attempt yielded me the results I wanted.
The leak appeared clearly on the roll and I could see where it could be coming from by aligning the last shot's exposed frame to the shutter opening in the camera. But to my surprise, the leak didn't come from anywhere near the film door. Instead, it looked to be coming from somewhere in the spooling area where the camera wound the film onto from the canister.
I took the camera apart and found the leak: a missing screw from the strap lug left a hole where the light would leak through from under the top plate. The light would enter through the gaps around the shutter button, bounce around the metallic surfaces on the inside and then filter down the hole from a missing screw.
Coincidentaly, I found that screw earlier inside the bottom plate of the camera as it obstructed the film advance mechanism. I saved it and found useful days later. It's still wild to me how it dislodged and travelled though the camera to create the most annoying light leak ever.
I replaced the screw and fixed the damn leak. But before I could do that, I had to learn how to open the top plate on my PEN FV. It involved using a rubber tool to unscrew a screw without any grip whatsoever and unscrew another screw that worked in the opposite direction of most screws (thanks to this YouTube video).
I took this photo on the remainder of the donor roll, which I confirmed to have zero leaks. At last! I'm also glad to have lubricated the film advance gear for a smooth like-new performance in this sixty-year-old film camera.

This is for the kids in elementary , junior high school and high school in New York City and cities like New York I wish I had a friend or helper like me when I was a kid much of my help is right on time because I lived through those situations when it was rougher and now it is a blessing that I could make a difference and better for other people other than myself and for me that is better than any riches one could ever get we are a huge success with the Tablet program on Rikers Island to stop recidivism to crime and high alert of multiple slashings cuttings and gang warfare on Rikers Island let's hope this Sports culture expansion program works and go through good luck to the kids and I hope a bright 🌞😎 future for them in Athletics and most importantly their school do your New York home work and stay out of jail and stay out of trouble and see I been the best help New York has had in decades if not centuries .

The reason I show this is because I wanted to share something with you about my school culture our lunchroom was like a cafe in the middle of our school , our classrooms had TV in our classroom with our own morning motivation news on what's going for that school day and healthy meals and what foods to eat , the campus was so beautiful the grass was neatly cut fresh smelling grass soft to step across to get to class of course the girls teased me then but it is aight I grew out of that my stupid self was smoking pot back then weed and now look I'm the guy that legalized weed in New York City like really it is legal to smoke pot and I wouldn't want to promote that for kids to indulge in because drugs destroy people's future it destroy your mind and get you around the wrong crowds of people , people get hurt just buying the drug but the moral of my story is the sports culture is better than New York sports culture and New York should take a page from Copperas Cove Texas sports culture the big band playing dancing stepping and our football games was like the main event you see alot of Chevy trucks and the crowd going wild . What I'm saying is take some of those dirt fields and expand them to track and field and football fields for the kids and expand New York City school system sports culture instead of a school yard bullying teasing and dirty culture make it a Friday night we go see our kids play sports and we all get the Chevy trucks and go to the game and watch the band perform their music add an extra wing with architecture to those high schools in New York for expansion of sports culture . Shout out to my old coach John Henry and my science teacher almost all my teachers were like retired football players that got into the passion of teaching after they retired . I miss it if I could go back I wouldn't do drugs or crime . The kids in New York need Football equipment 🏈 football fields the uniform all their gear and new stadiums , Tracks and field training and jogging fields , Basketball uniforms for all schools and don't forget our daughters sports they need Volley Ball stuff , Women Basketball uniforms and Tennis 🎾 stuff for the young ladies I believe the children should have a future so give them a chance instead of fighting , poor grades because of bullying and teasing , crime and Rikers Island , early deaths that could be prevented through conflict resolution like talking it out before fighting over a girl , jewelry or worse drug dealing which is legal now but should be dealt with maturely the thing is stop arresting them and give them a chance at a good future and make sure they have help to learn how to do the school work so all their classes and participate in sports and other extra curricular activities like the political debate team and urban development teams and preserving their environment through volunteer work in their communities . Go Brooklyn . Hey Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul Allocate funds for the school sports culture expansion plan act to give the kids a great future . Maybe the Patriots could donate some stuff to New York City Junior high schools and High school sports team to show them what it is like to grow up in a sports culture I miss my old schools and the games big bands and the song and dance and the football games and the crowd going wild you are going to love it we fixed Rikers Island why not fix the High schools sports teams in cities like New York it will bring fun and excitement to New York City .

Patterson Film is Real
This is an image from the famous “Patterson Film”, a short video recorded in 1967 on October 20th, on the Klamath River outside of Orleans, California. Was recorded by Roger Patterson, himself, and Bob Gimlin was also there. This video shows an actual Bigfoot/Sasquatch walking along the river. The image still enthralls, enchants, and bewilders both scientist and laymen alike. The Patterson film is still by far the best all around evidence of a sasquatch creature to date. However, it has been subjected to many attempts both to debunk and authenticate it.
Now For The Evidence To That Proves It’s Real:
When this film was shot, it was a sunny day, and you could see the Sun shining and glistening off of Her(the bigfoot) skin. You can also see the muscles rippling in her arms and legs as she walks along. If you watch the video, try to zoom in on it and you will see this taking place. If this is a person is a bigfoot suit, the suit would have to be glued to naked skin. But with a suit glued onto the naked skin, almost all of that muscle flexibility would be gone. So, thus, the only thing that can look as good as this, in real life, is REAL muscle under REAL skin working. So we can stop right there…it’s real, just based on that. But we don’t have to…
The arm drags down around the knees, where everyone says hominoids do. The length from shoulder to elbow of this creature is much longer than a human’s. If it’s a human in a suit, that’s impossible because you couldn’t get an elbow-break at the same point. So we can stop, again, right there. Solid proof that this video is a real bigfoot. BUT, let’s not stop there. Lets keep going…
There was a guy named Jerry Romney(a average/skinny man), who admitted to being the guy inside of the bigfoot suit. He was an insurance agent. So, if this was Romney in a suit, why did they stick him with breasts?..as in female breasts. What’s the point of doing that. As She(bigfoot) walks along, she turns around and faces Patterson, as the picture shows, and you can see Her breasts sway back and fourth and move naturally. So it’s real! Moreover, the bigfoot left tracks in the ground 1 inch deep. There are pictures and casts of this. Sceptics brought a 200 pound man to the same spot, and had him walk in the same spots where bigfoot walked, and his footprints only sank a little less than a quarter of an inch into the ground. So the bigfoot must of weighed anywhere from 600-800 lbs.
The Patterson Film is real people. It’s an authentic legitimate sighting.

no, he's not philosophic at all.
patrick struggles with the idea of a life's purpose. to dilute someones life down to one sole reason, it seems menial and sort of cruel.
don't get in his way, he won't get in yours & technology was made by the devil and it smells fear.
A - Advocate - How do they show their support for others? Are there any causes that they publicly support? Why?
he's. just. there. like a stray cat. or a big plant. if someone want's patricks support and he cares enough to give them it, then he always makes sure he's wherever that person needs him.
he's not a demon, he does support causes. lgbtq+, kids in care, healthcare, human rights - he doesn't give it a second thought to support these causes. he just does. people should be allowed to life their life without judgement.
N - Navigator - What’s their sense of direction like? Do they have a set path in life that they’re planning on following? What do they do if they’re knocked off course?
patrick knows his life plan. it's been mapped out for his brother and him since they crossed the threshold into the bodaway household and became a part of the bodaway family dominion. when patrick is knocked off course, he'll do his best to push himself to get back on track
I - Inventor - How creative is their thinking? Do they seek out the opinions of others or rely on their own ideas? What’s their problem solving approach?
he finds new ways to smash up his phones and laptops every time he needs to. that's creative, right? there are a few people in his life who's opinions and advice he seeks out - paxton, persephone, hayden...
patrick's problem solving approach is panic and hope it works out for the best
C - Caregiver - How do they give/receive care best? Do they care for everyone or just a small number of people? How do they react to someone in need?
patrick is a dumb dumb. he's not great at identifying what people need in terms of care but he tries his best and that really shows. he only tries when he's around people he cares about. patrick is selective of who he cares about, he's been burned before. he keeps his circle small to his family/extended family. if someone's in need and it's an emergency, it's probably not patrick you want to call for.

patrick doesn't have many happy memories. when hayden took in the pattersons is the most obvious one.
