In search of the ANTIDOTE rollout

Let's fucking goooo. More Fletcherini content than I could have imagined since Kelsea and Chase got together. I'm not complaining. These dates are all approximate and moreso for me to keep track of them chronologically.

Jan 10th - Fletcher teases Lead Me On with this TikTok. None of the other suspected muses of the song are straight...

Jan 21st - Fans receive vinyls that contain what is presumably a prologue. It includes the phrase

"an old friend once said me two things can be true"

In her Call Her Daddy interview, she said that it was something that her friend Kelsea Ballerini said and additionally, Kelsea used the phrase in her own interview with Alex months later.

Jan 24th - Fletcher releases a merch T-shirt of a horse with the caption

"it's hard to tame wild horses"

We speculate that this is a reference to Kelsea's Love Is A Cowboy song where she sings

"it makes your heart feel like wild horses in your chest"

Additionally, the merch looks extremely similar to Kelsea's Love Is A Cowboy merch, that Fletcher wore when they reunited in June 2023.

If we dig even deeper and look at the timeline, on June 22, when they went to the bar in Nashville and signed the infamous book, Kelsea posted her photo dump with a snippet of the song.

i did. the stunting is just so overkill at this point and i feel like the more she does it, the less convincing everything is but like even christina is posting it now so it's hard. feeling super torn bc i know how much is at stake for kelsea and why she has to do it but it doesn't make it suck less. like tbh i just feel sorry for cari in this situation.

My thing is that friends don’t act the way fletcher and Kelsea do and the fact that she’s a big country star in a very conservative genre the idea of being gay is very like unheard of. And Kelsea saying they are just vibing and then all of a sudden so many days back to back there are photos of her and chase.

Chase posts a photo dump that includes Kelsea resting her head on his shoulder. People speculate that they are dating.

Jan 16th - Kelsea denies Chase rumours in a TikTok and pokes fun at Fletherini.

It is an in incredibly touristy bar and suspicious that a local like Kelsea would be there. Also the video is weirdly close to them?

People speculate that it is PR due to how close the person is standing to them and how they seemingly get handsier when they notice the camera.

Nov 6th - Both of them post TikToks throwing axes and teasing Better Version.

Nov 7th - Kelsea responds to comments.

November 11th - Kelsea posts a TikTok with Girl of My Dreams as the sound and Fletcher reposts.

November 15th - Kelsea goes to the courthouse to finalize her divorce and then gets nominated for a grammy. She also fetches the keys for her house on this day.

Cari congratulates her on her nomination on her IG story.

Meet the key players

Kelsea

Kelsea is a 29 year old singer/songwriter who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Nashville to pursue country music. She signed her record deal in 2014 and her first hit was "Love Me Like You Mean It" in the same year. She's been active musically since then and done a fair amount of pop crossover and been criticized for not being country enough.

I hate including stuff like this but it is relevant to this post.

In 2016 at the age of 22, she began dating another country singer (Morgan Evans, 32) in March and they were married by that December.

Fletcher

Cari Fletcher is a 28 year old singer/songwriter who was born in New Jersey. She competed on X Factor and then went solo and released her first single, "War Paint" in 2015. I'd argue her mainstream breakthrough was with "Undrunk" at the beginning of 2019 and that if it weren't for the pandemic her career would have fully taken off by then.

Christina

Christina is Kelsea's best friend from childhood. They currently live together and are we're not entirely sure but we think she may be employed by Kelsea in some kind of capacity.
