So here me out

Ash isn't the main character but he's in the anime as a recurring character

Kinda like Cynthia in journeys

Or like the side characters in past series like Hunter J or Professors or etc where they appear for an episode that kind relates to their side plot but not anything main plot wise

Maybe Ash is there so he can do one specific thing like maybe a tutorial for Terastal for Liko and Roy while he does a side plot of saving a Pokemon

Then like 45 episodes later he comes back gives another trick to them about Terastal while preventing a team rocket attack

Then like another 20 episodes Ash comes and concludes the terastal lessons with maybe a raid battle

So like 3 appearances that keep him in the anime, he is nowhere near a side character let alone the main character but he has a connection to the Pokemon anime still

Kinda like whenever you see an old character in the new series, Joseph Joestar in the third Jojo’s, now retroactively seeing Obiwan Yoda, etc in the original trilogy of star wars, naruto characters in boruto, etc doesn't take too much away from the main cast

The other idea is the idea mostly spread is the Yugioh GX handling of the new main character

Where first episode Jaden runs into an older Yugi but they hide his face but the hair and everything gives him away

And Yugi passes the baton to Jaden

Then at the end of GX they duel thanks to magic

So it could be like that Ash gives Liko or Roy something passing the baton and by the end maybe year's from now they battle to test Liko or Roy

Also if you can find the artists for the Ash Liko arts as I saw it on a meme page

Ok, so hear me out...

I've been listening to the Encanto soundtrack as I've been writing and I've come to a personal headcannon.

Mirabel is not, in fact, giftless. She actually has been given the most important gift of all, the magic has chosen her as Abuela's successor.

I mean, think about it.

Everyone has this amazing gift that helps the family out but what gift does Abuela have? Nothing that I can see, besides the candle.

Who is the only other person to actually touch the candle? That's right, Mirabel!

But why does she not have a special room then?

Because the entire Casita belongs to her, you often see the house responding to any of her wishes and rearranging it just for her.

I mean, Casita doesn't help Luisa move the pot or Pepa move the belongings from one room to another but it helps Maribel put on her shoes, etc.

Abuela is getting older and the magic knew that a successor was needed but it waited until a loving, caring person who would love her family not matter what appeared to choose its successor.

That's what I believe anyway.

She would, yes! I think I mentioned this before, but both Mk and Jῑnzi have similar abilities, so when she was old enough Wukong would have started training her to be his successor.

CNN describes the three broad Conservative Party factions going into the selection process.

The hardline, traditional Conservatives in the party are feeling particularly burnt by Johnson. "He was the closest thing to someone who they felt ideologically aligned with they will probably ever see in charge of the party," says a government official. "They are now going to have to stomach someone who will inevitably be a lot softer."

The softer, liberal Conservatives, who always found Johnson distasteful, are equally concerned that any new leader must be squeaky clean and as far from Johnson as is possible.

Finally, the Johnson loyalists are seething at his treatment. In the eyes of one long-standing supporter, Johnson was "a giant" who was "cut down" by smaller, jealous figures. "I honestly think it was a stitch-up and now we have to find someone who simply doesn't exist: someone with his electoral appeal," the ally adds.

The Johnson allies won’t want to pick somebody who was part of the move to topple Boris. That eliminates a handful of the people on the graphic above.

The Brexiteers certainly won’t want a remainer like Jeremy Hunt.

Rishi Sunak is the favorite according to a number of betting companies. But he did jump ship by resigning from Johnson’s cabinet this week. And as a billionaire and recent former chancellor, he may not generate much appeal for swing voters if he leads the party into the next election.

So if I were asked to take a guess, I’d probably settle on Defence Secretary Ben Wallace. He kept his head low during the recent rebellion against Johnson. He’s been satisfactory in his cabinet position; never mind a prank call from Russia. And while he voted for Brexit, he’s not a fanatic about it. He generally doesn’t create drama, that may appeal to a lot of MPs who want a change in style after Boris.

This is the highest compliment I can bestow, but Dungeon Meshi reads like it was written for, if not by, Terry Pratchett.

Oh, you have a dungeon with monsters and adventurers? How does it work? Who pays? How do you get enough supplies? People will eat anything when hungry; do they eat the monsters? People will cook feasts from rotten meat and weeds; what feasts can you make with monsters?

By the way, here is a terrible pun about soup.

You want heroes to have peril, but also to live? Easy! Just have a ressurection spell. Well how does it work? What's the point? What would people give to live forever? What would people give to die?

Here's a dwarf whose magical shield is a wok.

And if they come back, it still hurts right? Do people remember? What happens if they forget that, outside of the dungeon, they can't come back? What if the thing that brings them back also ties them to the dungeon more and more, changes them, makes them different without knowing why.

Whilst you were thinking about that, the halfling founded an adventurers guild. It's an actual union with dues etc. btw he's a deadbeat dad apart from this.

The dwarf from earlier carries familial trauma that will haunt you for the next decade. The protagonist holds his sister's skull as the first proof that there is anything left of her. The two female leads share a love so deep that giving it a name would pollute it. The protagonist's sword is a mollusc.
