❖ despite the events, He would still have his sweet and caring nature, but his obsession with the reader would drive him to extreme measures.
❖ While Steven’s powers could potentially be used on the reader, it’s important to note that he would struggle with the idea of hurting them. Instead, he might rely more on manipulation and emotional control to keep the reader close to him.
❖ One possible manifestation of his tendencies could be the use of his bubbles. Trapping the reader from any an all attempt to drif away from him.
❖ Another power he might utilize is his ability to enter the dreams of others. Steven could invade the reader’s dreams, ensuring that they constantly think of him and only him. This would deepen his hold on their mind and emotions.
❖ In extreme cases, Steven might resort to trapping the reader in Rose’s Room, he could create an idealized world where everything revolves around their relationship, and the reader is completely under his control. Creating a happy little environment for his darling...

I can give my thoughts, sure! Just a warning though... I'm rusty on Steven Universe content.

Yandere! Generic Sapphire(s) Concept
(FT. Ruby Guards)
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Stalking, Manipulation, She uses her Rubies against you, Dubious/Forced companionship/relationship.
Sapphires are different from Rubies, obviously (In Steven Universe).
Sapphires are an entirely different caste, often used to predict the future for other Gems.
While Rubies are soldiers, Sapphires are aristocratic.
They are important and rare Gems and aren't typically seen in groups.
Rubies are naturally found in groups due to their fusion abilities as soldiers.
Sapphires are usually singular, so you'd most likely have one Sapphire as a yandere... which is easier.
Sapphires probably aren't too bad as yanderes.
They aren't physically strong without fusion, but they do have future vision and ice powers.
You could meet your yandere in the same way as your Ruby(s).
You're a Homeworld gem... you're a human and found her... or you met her in Little Homeworld.
I personally like the idea of you finding a Sapphire who came to Earth and befriending her.
Sapphires are usually seen with Ruby Guards, perhaps she was separated from her guards and you found her?
Either way, I imagine your Sapphire is curious and very patient.
She originally is hesitant to communicate with you, but as you get to know her she's floating by your side.
The ice powers and future vision no doubt come in handy.
Imagine when your Sapphire gets attached she attempts to use her future vision to predict how your bond will go.
However, with future vision I imagine Sapphires would be more lucid.
They know better than any other Gem the toxicity of their attraction... allowing them to predict how to make it better or when to back off.
As a result, an attached Sapphire is aware of what their obsession could cause.
Or at the very least... somewhat aware.
Another cool thing to add is a Sapphire can alert other Gems to their own obsession.
For the most part your Sapphire would use such an ability to keep you safe from danger and predict how to win you over.
Honestly, alone Sapphires aren't much of a problem.
However, imagine if your Sapphire had Ruby Guards.
Perhaps you promised to help her find her guards?
You could be a human or Gem, eventually your Sapphire feels comfortable around you.
She feels a strong connection with you... although due to being a Gem she isn't quite sure what it is yet.
(Especially if you're human/a Gem from Earth and she's from Homeworld)
By the time you do manage to locate her guards, she's a bit too attached.
Her Rubies originally treat you with hostility, after all they've been lost here for what seems like weeks.
If they aren't her guards, they're at least old friends.
Yet your Sapphire reassures them that you're no threat... leading to the Rubies to calm a bit.
Your Sapphire even says you helped her... she considers you an ally and friend!
However... I feel a yandere Sapphire comes with an issue despite how tame they'd be.
Their guards will do anything to keep their assignment happy... leading to you dealing with Rubies ANYWAYS.
Your Sapphire tries to reassure you when you notice Rubies following you around.
They're protecting the both of you!
The main yandere is still your Sapphire, she's the one who has a bond with you after all.
It's just that she has guards now enabling her.
She says it's all for your protection, that she's trying to make you happy.
If you tried to separate yourself from your Sapphire, she could send her Rubies after you or freeze you.
She hates the idea of harming you, but she's doing anything she can to chase a future in which you're both happy.
The good thing is, sometimes she leaves you to have your space.
She's lucid enough to give you your space.
Sapphire would most likely learn affectionate gestures from you.
Remember, affection isn't common in Gem culture.
Unlike Rubies, she isn't fully for the idea of fusing if you can't.
But she does know how to learn hugs, kisses, cuddling, etc....
She just hopes it'll be able to make you both happy.
She still believes the perfect future for the both of you is one where you're both happy...
The issue is... what actions will bring you both to that point... and will it hurt?

~He might end up trying to force you to see that he's okay.
~After THAT, he again goes back to trying to stay away from you.
~You're the person he wants to run to and collapse at your doorstep, but he doesn't want to put that on you, so he bottles it all up, only to release it later and somehow snap at you.
~He's at war with himself. He wants you, but he shouldn't have you, or take you, or beg you.
~He feels torn apart inside over it.

💗 Meeting Steven would likely be through little home school or having known him because they both lived in beach city
💗 His darling would be so quiet that even when they did speak, almost no one would hear them
💗 This would make it extremely easy for Steven to become close with his darling
💗 He'd do his best to listen to their problems and help them, as he did for everyone else

promt: he found out that you’re a yandere like him.
featuring: Yandere!Steven x Yandere!Reader
he has been stalking you for over a month now, and yet he doesn’t seem to acknowledge your obsession towards him.
probably doesn’t know that you have a whole shrine built only for him, boy is dense as hell.
you would notice it first and would be very amused about it.
you thought it was cute that he is obsessive towards you, so you let him find it out by himself that you’re also in love with him.
occasionally drop some hints here and there, you’ll also be very flirty after you found out he felt the same.
he’ll be very confused but would be really glad that you do that, he even have more urges to just kidnap you right there right now.
eventually he gives up and took you away when you were asleep.
you woke up in the middle of a forest with nothing and only the body/shattered gem that dares to confess their love to you.
he’s too far gone to care that he just killed/shattered someone, he may feel a bit guilty but once he saw you he thought it was worth it.
“goodmorning princess~ did you have a nice sleep?”
he smiled and start to inch closer to your tied figure, he’d be a little bit suprised that you didn’t squirm around or even attempted to escape.
he’ll be delusional that you indeed do wanted to be with him, which was true.
his face was centimeters away when you suddenly close the gaps between the two of you, he was suprised but eventually melt into the kiss.
you somehow got yourself untied and starts to lead him onto your lap to sit.
you are holding his back while he put his hands around your neck, it turned into a make out session.
when the two of you finally broke the kiss because you guys needs air, he stared at you hazily, you’ve fallen even impossibly deeper for him.
he would soon realize that you didn’t even care about the body/gem that was scattered on the ground which lead him to question you.
“__.. do you care about those.. people..?”
he was pouting which you mentally took a picture of, you shakes your head and starts to pepper kiss his face.
“Steven, all i care about is you. I don’t love anyone other than you, you are my everything. Im suprised you didn’t found out about my shrine that i’ve built for you.”
to say he was shocked was an understatement, he started to blush heavily once he finally put all the pieces together.
he knew he could be dense sometimes but how could he has not known this?
you eventually moves out and lives with him, where the two of you finally able to be with eachother for the rest of eternity.

Steven was nervous. He had been waiting for this moment his whole life, and now it was finally here. s/o was finally willing to fuse with him and form the strongest being in the universe. But as the fusion process began, Steven realized that he didn't feel quite right. What if the reader regretted their decision? What if they didn't like being fused with him? What if they just left him behind? Steven panicked and started to beg the reader not to leave him, not to abandon him.
s/o felt overwhelmed by Steven's emotion. While they felt a connection to him, they also felt intimidated by his intensity. They were scared, both of what the fusion might mean, and of what Steven might do if they refused. They did beg Steven to unfuse and let them go, but Steven refused. He told them that they needed to trust him and that once they were one, everything would be okay. Finally, after much hesitation and tears, s/o relented and let themselves be swallowed by Steven, once they infused s/o ran away in tears, terrified by Stevens actions, Steven stood there frozen...He didn't feel guilty, he needed it. He WANTED it.
Steven took matters into his own hands and forced s/o to fuse with him, using his Diamond powers. As their bodies melded together, Steven felt both relieved and scared at the same time. He was glad that he had made his dream come true, but he was terrified of what s/o would think of him now that they were one being. Would they still love him? Would they still want to be with him? No. The were going to love him. No. Matter. What.
The fusion between Steven and the s/o had the combined powers of both Steven's gems and s/o's body, making them a powerful warrior. However, s/o felt trapped in the fusion. While Steven was happy to be with them, he also felt possessive, scared that s/o would leave him if he didn't force them to stay. The result was a conflicted and unstable being that was both fearful and aggressive, desperate to hold onto the reader but scared of losing them at the same time.
S/o soon began to accept their fate in the fusion. As time went on, Steven's obsession did get worse, becoming increasingly possessive and controlling. S/o felt trapped, but could not leave. S/o longer they were stuck together, the more Steven's obsession grew, the more frightened and desperate s/o came. The relationship became unhealthy and abusive, with Steven using his powers to keep s/o from leaving and s/o feeling like they had no choice but to comply.

Stevens gone all thats left of him is an anxiety ridden traumatised animal... but your still there.
.You would scream and shout but he would not hear... stevens not their anymore.
.He would be a protective and an obssesive yandere. he now never lets you down your always in his giant clawed hand or shoved into his chest. He would be physicly and emotionaly incapable of leting you go even in his sleep he would hold you tight ageinst himself like a stress ball he would squeez you and hold you tight. If you ever maneged to somehow escape his grasp he would have a panic attack and probebly tear entire citys to pices trying to look for you.
.Kidnaps you right away on sight no questions asked do not go do not collect two hunderd dollars its over. You would probebly be someone you knew before he became corrupted and so as the angst ridden beast he has now become he deperatly clingson to anything fimilier that offers.
.He wouldnt mean to kill people if he does he would just kind of... walk over them its like a giant walking over ants he wouldnt even notice it. He would probebly do it while looking for you i you ever escaped him he would run around the country side tearing apart building trying to find you and when he does he would snatch you back up immeadiatly and run somewhere far away.
. Their would be no punishments any attempt for you to escape would just resault in him squeezing you loser to his chest and he would completly ignore all of your screams and crys
. I guess he would give you a ton of phisical comfort becuse he would literally never let you go

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Steven is naturally clingy due to his past. He doesn't like leaving you so he comes off as smothering. He's used to losing others and now that he's found someone new... he doesn't want to let go.
Steven comes off as intense, even when he doesn't mean to. He just wants to cover you in hugs and kisses. He just wants to feel your warmth and not be alone again.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Steven has always been a person who wants to solve problems by talking them out. However, with his new unpredictability... there may be times he gets more violent than he'd like to be.
He feels conflicted and horrible the moment he sees blood on his hands. Yet he quickly hides it. After all... you shouldn't view him as a monster just yet, right?
He wants to enjoy you for a while longer before you leave him.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Steven would not purposefully try to mock you unless you set him off or something. He's impulsive though, which may lead to him kidnapping you without thinking things through.
Abduction would be a last ditch effort for him to not lose his darling. He cares for you the best he can all while trying to self soothe himself in your embrace. In abduction you can truly see how messed up the poor young man is.
He always asks how he can help. He denies you your freedom and quickly becomes the only thing you see. He's in denial of everything... including his toxicity.
He's been struggling to find a purpose, but when he meets you... He just knows he's needed you since he met you.
He just hopes you understand him... eventually.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
He probably doesn't mean to, but it ends up happening anyways. He's so caught up in what he wants or trying to "help" and "care" for you... only to forget you really need space, not him.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
He may try to hide it, but in the end he's very vulnerable with you. He struggles to be open but it ends up spilling out of him anyways. When he's vulnerable... it's almost upsetting when he holds you close and sobs.
However... he's still dangerous... and you know that.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Genuinely upset and you may set off his temper. He may fight back verbally, but even with just words... his powers can get hectic by accident.
If he ever hurt you by accident, he pauses and either isolates himself or tries to make things better again.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Well, with this one there can be a lot of candidates due to how volatile Steven can be. As I said before, he'd never mean to hurt you but he may do it by accident.
Seeing his mental breakdowns... seeing him snap at others... at some point he'll take it too far.
In a fit of desperation, he may accidentally harm you or someone close to you. You're terrified once you see his hands and the floor covered in blood. The realization of what he's done may break both of you.
The thought is unnerving... as that blood can either belong to someone you know... or you.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
In the end, somehow, Steven wants to have you two married and happy together. Yet he's so emotionally driven and plagued with trauma, that even if you tried to help him, it only hurts the both of you.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Yes. Steven has a fear of being left behind. So when he sees you turn your attention to other people, it affects him. He'll usually try to deal with it alone, often going into a depressive state and crying about it in his room.
Honestly, him just being sad is the better option. All you have to do is comfort him afterwards. Although... he is fully capable of lashing out, which would be dangerous for anyone around him. We've seen in Future how he gets.
Left unchecked and someone may get hurt.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Obsessive, Clingy, Affectionate, Manipulative, Controlling, Needy, Volatile, Possessive, Intimidating, Caring, Smothering.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
Pulling from my older concept, you two most likely met after he left home to have a fresh start. You offer to be his friend, to help him, and he ends up feeling attached. However... soon friendship turns into more than friendship.
He wants you to be lovers, to be married, to support him.
He's moving too fast with his feelings which causes issues for both of you. He stresses out over the fact you don't feel the same and worries you'll leave him. He doesn't want to lose you...
So it seems he must prevent that somehow.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Well, he's not really trying to mask anything. He may try to hide his darker nature... but you'll find out eventually.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
He doesn't like hurting you, the only times he does is by accident. So your punishment may be something like... forcing you by his side or something like that. Isolation punishes him too, so he'll do the opposite.
He'll use his powers to chain you to his side until he knows you won't leave him.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Most of them if it meant he wouldn't be left behind.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
I like to think at first he's really patient... but as he gets worse and worse... he's impatient.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
Honestly, if anything bad happened to you, he'd snap. Like... monster Steven snap.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
A little and maybe.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Childhood trauma. One of the main things dealt with in Future.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Steven is used to helping. He'd do whatever he can to see you happy again. Sometimes he's even unaware that he could be the one causing it due to his delusions. He'll hold you close, kiss your head, and just stay beside you. He hates it when you're upset.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Get this man the help he needs, put up boundaries, and probably get the poor man a therapist. He'll be much easier to manage. (Also he just really needs help.)
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Unintentionally, afterwards he panics and tries to fix things.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Steven may actually be a worship yandere at times. There's times he's just so grateful that you want to help him and he just wants to keep you forever. He'd do anything to have you. Just so he can keep your warmth all to himself.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
Anything from months to a couple years.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Not on purpose.
