Steve literally implied they're cute (Eddie smiled at that). There's also so much homosexual energy with that little staring scene (I know what you are Steddie). Eddie looked like he wanted to say something else instead of “Make him pay.” I will not stop until we get Steddie canon. There better be a scene with them co-parenting and watching the sunset together living happily ever after.

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of posts all across social media bashing the newly formed Joseph Quinn/Eddie Munson fanbase over reasons I wish made sense, and I find it to be rather disappointing.

Sure, Joseph’s fans loved Eddie because the actor and his portrayed character are quite charming in their ways, but fans aren’t that shallow. From the moment fans were first introduced, to his final moments onscreen, Joseph—Eddie was dazzling.

Eddie was one of the most relatable characters Stranger Things has introduced into its fanbase. Fans connected with Eddie on an intimate level because they, too, have experienced the hurt and confusion of being treated like an outcast or being labeled something they know themselves not to be solely based on their appearance, hobbies, and interests, or lifestyle choices. Eddie was a victim caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time, and no amount of hiding or running saved his life. Fans didn’t care that Eddie was another mysterious pretty face; he was special.

Eddie Munson was a character that knew exactly who he was and wanted to be and wasn’t afraid to be himself. He didn’t care what others thought of him, and he wasn’t afraid to stand out. He thought he was a coward for running from anything frightening him, but he wasn’t. He helped save Steve’s life. He could have saved himself, but instead, he sacrificed his life for a few people who barely knew him so they had a better chance at stopping Vecna. He sacrificed himself so a town that hated him and wanted him dead would be spared, and countless lives wouldn’t be lost. He was a hero. He was selfless. He was kind and brave. Funny and charismatic. No other character was quite like Eddie. He was lovely in every way.

He was one of a kind. The fact that he had such little screen time and left behind such an immense impact on the Stranger Things fanbase is honestly saying something about the character and Joseph Quinn. If Joe’s fans want to theorize all the possibilities on how he might come back in ST5, so be it. Eddie deserved better, he was doomed from the start, and it wasn’t fair. Joe’s fans are supporting him and loving on him, rightfully so.

Joseph knit together a character that was unique, inspirational, lovable, and now forever irreplaceable. I, for one, am grateful for the multitalented gift Joseph has been blessed with. He deserves just as much love and support as other Stranger Things actors receive.

Reasons Byler is the only possible logical outcome

I know many have already make posts like this, but I wanted to make mine too lol

Okey, so we know they want to give as much of a good and possibly happy ending as they can, and Will is for sure the one character who'll get a happy ending (since he literally hasn't have a single happy season). Now, the thing is, there's only 4 possible endings for Will(when it comes to love):

1. He dies

2. He gets a new character as a boyfriend

3. He ends up single

4. He ends up with Mike

Now, let's see each of these endings:

1) This is obviously discarded bc there's literally no way he'll die.

2) We know there's no new characters, so this is discarded too

3) Now, this one. With any other character, it could be considered a happy ending to end up single (Nancy, El...) But with Will, that's not the case.

Here's the thing, Will's arc could have been just about being gay, they could have made his goal resolution to be to accept himself and realize his loved ones still love him regardless and to learn that he's not a mistake. And until season 3 you could have argued that was the direction they were choosing. But then came Season 4, and that's when they backed themselves into a corner (if they didn't intend to do Byler).

Literally Will's whole arc in S4 is about him being in love with Mike. They could have just made him gay, but they added in love with Mike to the mix. They added it in S4, the second to last season, and they didn't even closed that plot point, Will ended the season still in love with Mike. Even more than that, they've gone as far as to tell us he's been in love with him since S1 (or even before that)

What does this tell us? That Will would not be able to get over Mike quickly, and definitely not in one single season (even with a time jump, he's been in love for way too long) + with the painting lie not resolved either, that also tell us Will's love will be brought up again, which means Will will be still in love with Mike in S5, since we gotta close that topic at some point.

All this tell us: Will can not get over Mike in S5, which means that him ending up single wouldn't be a happy ending, since he would still be heartbroken.

4) So that leaves us with only one ending being positive. Literally, because of what they've showed us in S4, the only possible happy ending for Will is ending up with Mike.

So there you have it. Either the Duffers are very cruel and bad writers; or Byler is endgame. (And judging by what we've been shown until now, I would lean more toward the second)
