People always ask me about this photo. I met @harpista in 2008. We have done a few shoots together. First off, I was fascinated by the harp. Its massive and gold. And delicate and the weirdest shape.  Brandee is the only harp player I know.  I went to her parents house in Long Island and their living room IS  THREE  HARPS. There is no room for anything else. I think the harps didn’t fit into Brandee’s apartment.  @melanieharrismakeuphair was on hand to make her shine. The gold dress was Brandee’s. We brought her favorite harp out front and that little boy walked by with his mom on the way to football practice. They were neighbors and his mom was talking to Brandee’s mom. I have many #iconic #photographs of Andy in several of my photobooks and in my extensive photo archive, but the one below has a great story that I'd like to share. Here's a #fav photo of #Warhol at the #BronxZoo at the Elephant cage captured June 12 1983 Bronx NY #Storybehindthephoto (excerpt from my book "The Stories behind the Pictures" 2014 by Ron Galella) "One day Betty and I hopped into the car and went down to the Bronx Zoo to take break from work. We decided to take the Safari Train ride there, when I spotted Andy Warhol on the same train! This train which traveled all the way through the crowded park, ended up drawing more stares and responses than did the exotic species housed in the famous zoo. As soon as the ride was over we greeted Andy. He let me know that this was his first visit to the zoo and happily posed for me in front of the elephant cage.
