Fossil VAROOM & REXAVROOM (Steel/Rock)

Another family of pokemon who made their home in the Fossil Ravine, just like YAMASK & DWEBBLE

This pokemon adapted to turn the fossils they find into fuel, and thanks to the overabundance of fossils and fuel, they became bigger and faster than its regular counterparts.

Fossil VAROOM has modified its body, using some of the fossils it founds to become more aerodynamic, changing the configuration of its 2 "wheels" into something more similar to a motorcycle.

It is based on a Chopper motorcycle

REXAVROOM has grown too big and strong, so it uses a mix of rocks and fossils to create a suitable body, resembling a muscle car.

It is based on a Hot Rod car

Let’s actually post some art on here shall we. Only got sketches but they’ll do

Earlier this year a friend of mine on discord was in desperate need of a cheetah bird fusion and I thought it’d be a fun Pokémon design. Thus, I introduce to you:

Swiftah and it’s evolution, Griffighter! A Steel/Flying line starting off with inspirations of the Mottled Spinetail (a type of Swift) and a bit of cheetah, which evolves into a griffin fighter jet! Yes those are little goggles the guy has, and the evolution is tucking its legs up against its body like how a plane retracts its landing gear after takeoff. (Griffighter also moves its head down into that position, trust me it has better neck posture outside of flying mode).

Technical stuff, this line excels at Speed with solid physical stats. Sp.Def is the dump stat. Abilities would be Keen Eyes (goggles help protect Accuracy) and Battle Armor (armored fighter jet bird/cat thing), with the Hidden Ability being the new Wind Rider ability (nice Attack boost from Tailwind). Speed Boost was considered but this dude is already likely to be one of the fastest Pokémon so it isn’t a necessary ability to have.

Ground/Steel type land sharks (no official names yet)

Their color palette is mainly based on Lemon sharks and Copper sharks which are also known for their particularly nasty bites

First evolution is based on the Helicoprion mixed with a circular saw

Design wise, I have very little to say about this boi. I stole almost the whole thing from the unreleased beta evolution of ditto. While I do imagine they sit like ditto (all blobby and such) I do like the mental image of them running along one little blobby legs. Another entry in the 'head empty little guy' catalog.

In universe, these guys would be a metal like mercury (liquid at room temp) and they can only copy things that have looked into them (so mirror rules instead of genetic copys)
