I've been burning out on this project for awhile now, tho I'm committed to completing the dex. However, I have been thinking about what will happen to this blog after I finish the dex and I think I would like to take the time to redesign my redesigns. I don't know if I will but at the moment I was really excited to do it :P
So here is something no one asked for - A redesign of my own Plague Birds for this spooky season.
Movesets and TMs/TRs are rough ideas and could be subject to change. (also I used the old Galar TMs/TRs because it was easier to reference on Serebii than the new TMs of Scarlet/Violet)

143) Dracobra, the Titan Pokemon
As it slithers, Dracobra's scales leak a terrible poison that leaves a trail of destruction in its wake. When it outgrows its shell, the old toxic one can render an area unlivable for years.
Its food tends to disintegrate in its grasp before it can finish, meaning a Dracobra is always ravenous and on the hunt.

has anyone used finger braces/ring splints for hyperextension (or hypermobility in general)? i've casually looked into them before but as of this week i've just about had it and i think need to get serious, so i'm curious what other people's experiences have been or if anyone's got recommendations/tips/whatever
#all of my joints are Bad but i think i've reached my limit with my right hand pinky finger lol#which i know seems random but it's my shift/enter finger when typing and the top knuckle collapses when i press the keys#so it gets pretty sore and irritated when i'm typing a lot (i.e. every day lately)#but that specific joint also means sizing might be a challenge :/

At the end of the year I said I’d allow myself at least one day a week to draw Nevermoor stuff, because I have too much energy and love in my brain / heart / hands that I need to get out, and then proceeded to not process that the new year had started until today. Three weeks in 😅

🍍 - What is an event that seemed of minor consequence to them when it occurred, but ended up impacting their life/development in a bigger way?
The first time he stole something non-essential. Copperhead had stolen many times before, usually necessities like food or articles of clothing but the more he continued taking what wasn't his, the bigger the thrill it became. Shoplifting graduated to pickpocketing, then full-on breaking and entering with Copperhead honing his skills over the years to take whatever caught his eye. At that point it was more about the challenge than actual need, since he was living as a drifter and could only carry around the bare essentials.
His humble beginnings as a petty thief left him craving greater challenges to feel that rush of adrenaline once more. Murder may slake the dark thirst brewing within but thieving was always a personal pleasure, and a great side business when good assassination contracts are far and few in-between.
🍋 - Is there anything special about their diet, and how do they manage it? If they were to gain/lose a lot of weight suddenly, how would they react and adjust?
As a Serpent Metahuman, Copperhead doesn't require frequent meals. In fact he prefers eating only a few times a week, preferably small meals that are quick and easy to digest. A full belly makes for a slow snake so Copperhead avoids consuming large amounts of food in one go, finding he grows too sluggish on the occasion his greed gets the better of him.
He can subsist entirely on meat but Copperhead likes fish and fruit too, having a highly refined palate what with his sensitive tongue. Shellfish like crab and lobster is something he goes wild for but he always tries to avoid gorging no matter how tempting a spread is. Contrary to popular belief, he does not eat rats.

I have done it! I have written ficlets for all 30 days of Sicktember! (only posted 7 of them but I wrote all 30! :D)
Over the course of the month, I've written:

Longest fic was Day 2's Four Hours at 1850 words
Shortest fic was at 508 words, tied between Days 12 & 27 (neither posted)

Dracobra
What a fun typing for the pseudo-legendary of the alternate pokedex. Poison is easily my favorite typing, and I had such a blast designing these two. It does feel a little strange that Serpenom basically loses its back legs when it evolves, but there have been stranger evolutions. That's the main reason I wound up giving Dracobra arms, to better tie them together, but I'm glad I did so. Yes it is snake themed, but it is also a dragon. The point of being a dragon-type is to defy logic.
The strangely featureless heads are a throwback to classic gen 1, invoking the likes of Gastly and Cloyster and Tangela. A mystery wrapped in an oh-so toxic shell.

Lansing Legacy!!
I found the random legacy and was inspired by the intro formatting from @adair-the-bard, please show him some love!!!
As I said above, this is the random legacy challenge! My founder is Jaymes Lansing, a trans man with questionable fashion sense but somehow pulls it off (and not to mention is a cyber criminal :0) and his wife is Presley Ames, who you may recognize from a previous post but with some epic improvements (including arm crutches!! I was so excited when I found this cc and they’re perfect for her!!) who’s a stylist!!

When I saw this challenge I knew I had to participate as I just got my first ever set of dice and wanted to use them! I will be using a d20 for the categories that have less than 20, and for the rest I will use two to three dice of my picking and add up the totals to get the roll number.

Category 1:
Marital Status
For the first roll I used a D20 and D6, and added one to the total to even out the lack of 1 due to there being 27 potentials in the rules. I rolled a 9 and a 5, and added 1 which totaled to 15: Couple: Live together with a romantic interest and use the help to raise the kids.
Category 2: Number of Kids
For the number of kids, I used a D6 and a D4. I rolled a 5 and a 1, which totals to 6: 2 Kids
Category 3: Career
For this category, I had to make multiple roles, for the type of careers my Founder and my other sims can have, as well as for what career it is.
I started off rolling for my Founders career with a D6 and D4, and got 8: Unconventional Careers. I then rolled for what unconventional career it would be. I excluded numbers 18, 19, 28, 29, 30, 31-36, 39, as I do not have those packs, and then used a D20, D4, and D6 to roll. I rolled a 9, 1, and 2, totaling to 12: Cybercriminal: create viruses and hack for money.
Then, I rolled for my spouses' career. For career type, I rolled a total of 4: Conventional Career. For the career, I rolled a total of 21: Style Influencer – Stylist
Category 4: Generation Goals
Here, I rolled a D20, D6, D4, and D8. I got a total of 19: Pet Shrine [C&D]— Adopt, create, or bring home a stray pet. Through the generation build a shrine to the pet.
Category 5: Misc. Fun.
Here, I used the same dice as Category 4 and added 2 to the total. I rolled 21: Regular Diner [DO]— Once a week, the entire household must go out to eat at a restaurant. All three courses and something to drink should be ordered.
