Nintendo direct splatoon 3 paid dlc Over view

Ok ok okayy, my overview might not be the same as others because i did not play the first game, so i will not find the nostalgia of it the same.

HOLLYYYY SHITTT!!!!

Okay so there is ALLOT to unpack here.

I will be starting with wave one of the DLC: Inkopolis

Then move to wave two: Side Order

Soo, inkopolis is back! You can now experience this nostalgic city on your Nintendo switch! There’s not much to unpack other than a few things

Lets start with probably (almost) everyone’s favorite news,

SHELDON HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THESE GUYS!!

I know there are some Sheldon fans out there but im pretty sure we can agree that its nice to have a change of a shopkeeper that has beeen the same since the first game. Makes sense canonically to how would Sheldon be able to run two shops in two separate city’s at the same time.

There also this guy:

He honestly looks terrifying, like this is something I would find climbing out of my little sister’s closet.

SQUIDD SISTERS ARE BACK IN THEIR PREFORMING DAYS!!

they said splatfests work the same here and that squid sisters will preform during splatfests. Im not sure what that means considering there are three teams and only two squid sisters, judging by this shot im starting to wonder if the zapfish represents the third team lol.

Another thing im wondering is if we will be able to go to octo valley in inkopolis, i dont see why not but it also seems very likely that we wont be able to, the only part of this expansion that contains story looks to be wave two but i could be completely wrong.

Okay next up we have wave two: side order

At firs5t glance this looks like a compleatly normal octoling in a strange white area. But if we take a closer look, this octoling appears to be agent eight? The promo hairstyle is the same and the outfit looks similar.

If we take another good look, their skin color appear to be the same as well.

Now unfourtunatly there is zero sign of agent four. Wait- what’s this?:

Another thing that happens when we take a good look is we can see that this ‘strange white place’ is actually SPLATOON 2’S INKOPOLIS

FOUR WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!?!?

sadly we cannot assume that this is the doings of agent 4, but knowing that Nintendo likes to listen to their fans, we will likely be getting four back in this DLC.

Now what could have happened here?

Well, first off lets start with the pictures flashing across the screen during this scene.

Okay so first off we have uh- strange lights? I dunno theres not realy much to make of this picture

Next up is some kind of room. Now at first i thought this was an elevator or something. And i might be right, but it also might be a containment chamber according to the next pictures

Next we got some kind of fight science or something- i really dont know the only thing that caught my eye was the blue and green thing behind out octo friend that made me say: “SANITIZED OCTO” for some reason lol. But ig it looks like out octo is fighting someone with orange ink… FOUR???(hj)

Okayyyy now this im going to call hand, because uhh hand?or atleast thats what I thought at first, but now its starting to look like a cepholapod? The floor seems really reflective and we can see… AN INKLING?? HOLLY SHIT FOUR PLEASEEE TELL ME ITS YOU IM GOING TO EXPLODE. This inkling looks a bit.. difirent though,, its hard to see their ink color but it looks like a bit of a brownish color like the octo. Another thing that is off about this squid is its a normaly long arms, im not the only one seeIng how long their fucking arms are right?

uh void,, Thing?there are a bunch of spikes and out fave octo friend chillin in the center of it all. There seems to be a reoccurring theme of black and white even though splatoon is a colorful game.

Ooo glitchy marina! This one dosent have allot of info other than shes in her old outfit or the took her orange jacket off but it sure would make an awesome wallpaper!

this one seems to be of our octo buddy looking into glass. Now one of two things could be happening here.. or both, 1: this octo just came into existence and is seeing their own face for the first time, or 2: their looking at something out the window. Thwew is another person in the background as we can see a black shoe in the top left corner

I dont even fucking know what this is but it reminds me of those stress toys with the colored balls inside them that you try to push in

now THOSE are some LONG ASS TENTACLES. This seems to be another elevator of some sort, or just a big door. It seems to be surounded by plants and collums to.

This honestly looks like a splatoon 2 hero mode stage on anistetics (/pos). Our lil octo guy seems to be in the middle of it

what the fuck do i even call this?? It’s just s blur of gray back and white.

We got pearl in the fucked up inkopolis. Y’know, maybe we fell over and shes helpin us up :) this also explains her huge jacket because it must be freezing out there lol

This looks like something from breath of the wild. But the longer i look at it, the more it looks like a stegosaurus. That red pupil is scary tho ngl

now the ink may look back and a bit of red ink. But what if thats orange ink? Honestly im trying to find anny excuse i have to say agent 4 is back. But this placer looks strange, there is white plants everywhere and the pillars a weird.

That’s fucking bright. but the ink color is starting to look closer and closer to agent eight’s ink color

this reminds me of the splatoon2 hero mode art with all the octo weapons and callie at the top and four at the bottom of all of it and i feeling the refirence. I dont have the time to turn up the brightness right now but i will later and i will let you guys know what i find

Okay now were really getting close to agent eight’s hair color. This is most likely agent eight like there is almost no denial

oh shit now there are two of them. One of them looks like their saying something to the other. There is also a massive difference in brightness which is strange. Also where are they? This place looks strange with stuff just everywhere.

It looks like he’s etiher deleted or edited any tag directed at me out of his blog from what I’ve gone through so far but I’m going as far back in his art tags, tags I knew he associated me with ( some Happy Tree Friends characters as the show was how he found me ), and less urgently my own art tags and tags for him on this blog/ my past blogs since I know those can’t be deleted without my say so ( my very first blog is squiddybilly if anybody would like to look in the meantime, my art tag was “squidd ink” and I believe my tag for him was either “hedge” or his url, and for a short time I was on another that was turned to a keyjumble, I’ll be sure to provide a link there and cap anything on that one that can be used against him as well )

I’ve been working on this since LAST summer. I think what took the most time was probably the background... and I still feel like it’s kinda empty. Maybe I’ll add some more to it later! Otherwise, I’m very pleased with it-- and now I know I can use it at my grad party!

Three Drabbles

Hey guys! Many of you wanted to see some drabbles of mine!

So I found three to share with you all,their may be some spelling mistakes here and there but hopefully not,as I went through and edited them after writing them. However if you find anything it would be appreciated if you tell me!

Anyways,below are the stories so enjoy :)

All So Strange.

It was just any other ordinary day for Mesmer...well no that's a lie. He wasn't home,he didn't have his tree,his friends,or his brother.

his brother..

HIS BROTHER.

Mesmer quickly sat up from the soft warm comfort of the bed,as the blankets slid off him a cold gust of wind had flown through him,causing his bones to rattle.He laughed bitterly,the dim light of the lamp did nothing to help,the room was mostly surrounded in darkness which only increased the heaviness of guilt in his dimly lit soul.What used to have been a brightly burning flame in his chest was no more,only distinguished to a sad small ball of light in the shape of a sun,you could see the apple in the center more clearly now...

He reached into his shirt and pulled out his necklace,the lamp's light shone lightly onto the little trinket.

So overwhelming all these new things were,he had been trapped in stone for 1,000 years..?

1,000 years,was his brother even still alive?

What does 1,000 years mean to the realm of darkness,Limbo?

Is he okay?

No,of course he isn't,he remembers that crazed look in his brother's eye when it locked onto the last apple of pure light he held in his hands.A shiver runs through his spine,that look...he hisses through his teeth and rubs his sternum as a spike of pain runs through his soul,whoops.He had done it again,his soul grew heavier...it dimmed again.He sighed,rubbing his eye socket,they felt bruised,that light burning sensation around his sockets always bothered him,he never grew used to it.

He slowly layed back down,running his hand down the side of his skull.

How long had he been laying here..?

He doesn't know anymore.

He's just tired,exhausted.

"Mesmer!Hey,wake up you sleepy head!"

Mesmer groans,as Spritz shakes him awake,honestly he can't understand how Spritz is so energetic,he must have a bright soul.

"Staaarss,Ink stop you're gonna pop my humerus out of socket if you keep that up.." he manages to mumble out through a yawn.

"Oh sorry Mesmer! I just wanted to get you up this morning!Always good to have breakfast!" he pulls away from Mesmer's bed,and walts to the door.

"I'll be waiting for you downstairs!" Spritz shouts out,god he didn't need to shout...he's literally right there.

Mesmer rubs his tired sockets as he slowly sits up on his elbows.

"Uh...yeah sure,I'll be right down,just give me a moment." he waves a hand off at Spritz,he in return nods and spins around on his heel walking out of the room with a spring in his step.

He seems excited,he shrugs it off,he's always excited about something.He sits up slowly,turning to sit on the side of his bed,within the process a few joints pop causing him to groan.

Stars that hurt.

He lets a breath out and slowly stands out of bed,god he's so stiff...he drags himself across the room slowly,as he takes his cape in his hands he runs his phalanges over the fabric,a small smile makes its way onto his face.

The moment is quickly broken by Spritz's voice jolting him out of it.

"Mesmer! Hurry up!"

He sighs tiredly and slides his cape over his shoulders and snaps the front together,as he walks over to the door he slides on his 'gloves'.

"I'm coming Ink give me a moment!" Mesmer shouts back,voice cracking due to having just woken up.He slips his hood up,and opens the door walking out.

As he makes way down the stairs Mesmer hasn't the slightest clue of what's next to happen,but he can sense it based upon the heavy negativity that had rushed through his soul as he got out of bed this morning.

Not from him,or Spritz,but he feels it somewhere,as if he feels it were coming from a completely different universe...

You're Crazy.

Ah,what a lovely day it has- wait,haha..'silly silly me' he thought.

Time doesn't exactly exist here,no days or nights here.

Not in the Anti-void.

Well,nonetheless still lovely,he sighs happily with a grin splitting across his skull.

He can't keep lazing around sadly,he has a thankless job to do,even if the doll hates it.

With a simple swipe of his hand he swiftly opens a glitchy looking window to another universe.

“Leaving already..?” a soft tired voice squeaks out behind him.

He turns his head looking at a groggy looking doll on his beanbag.

“D0n’t give me th-that l00k.” The Destroyer snaps at the doll.

“Y3s. I h-h4ve a job to d-d-do.” he replies simply,in return the doll gives him a dejected look.

“You know I hate your job,friend…” mumbles out the doll.

“1 d0. But I n3ed t-t-to do th1s.” the doll nods sadly,he knew what he signed up for when he agreed to stay with The Destroyer.He feels pity for The Destroyer,that caused him to have gone so mad,and what type of person did he used to be..?

“Okay,I’ll be waiting buddy.” the doll finally replies with,making the glitchy skeleton smile,not in a mad or crazed way...but it was soft.

“Oh,and friend?”

The Destroyer pauses just before leaving and looks back at him.

“Can you get me a treat?”

“0-0f course.”

As Berry watches Stitch take his leave he ponders his past choice of staying…

He doesn’t regret it,he huffs out a laugh smiling to himself.

He’s more than willing to stay and keep this madman company.

On The Bright Days.

The sun shone beautifully upon the trees and grass below,such a lovely day it was,a swift easy breeze blew through the leaves above.

All the children were out playing in the fields,well...all but one child who sat deep in the forest,right by the border that kept the shadows out and protected all who were inside.

He didn’t get why people saw the shadows as some sinister beast,they were his companion,a friend to talk to when he didn’t trust anyone else.

The shadows never threatened harm to him,on the contrary they provided him with protection.

“Why have you returned,little one?” whispered the shadows.

The child looked up from his book and at the wall of darkness bordering the light.

“To have peace and quiet.” he replied simply. “The other children are too mean and loud..” he adds in a mumble.

“Ah...all is fine little one,they simply can’t comprehend your importance.” cooed the shadows,as the child fidgets with the corner of the page.

“I’m not important…” they manage to mumble out.

“Yes you are.”

“Don’t pity me…”

“We aren’t,we’re telling you the truth, small one. You hold great significance to this world.”

“How so?” questioned the child

“You protect us.” The shadows finished.

The child looked bewildered upon hearing this new found information,but before he could open his mouth to respond he’s interrupted by someone calling his name.

“Nightlight!”

How would errorink happen with the variants versions?

So,technically speaking.

It never would,its canonically impossible.

Sure there is a slim chance Spritz could befriend Stitch,but Stitch is unpredictable,as any and all Errors are. Besides even if that managed to happen...Stitch is Aromantic,he would never fall in love with Spritz,and if Spritz fell in love with him,those feelings wouldn't even be technically real.

Most of it would be artificial.

(I say most of it because he can still feel faint feelings without his paint)

And yes I know there's an Errink shipkid involved in the Variants,he's my own version of Airbrush who belongs to @/adorablemew my friend. ^^ He isn't born from either Stitch or Spritz (cringing at the mental image) but he was born in a void with a mix of both of their genetics! And Stitch would never get with Spritz..he literally has killed Spritz brutally multiple times.

It's a big factor that he's a complete psychopath except partially for DollBerry,his "best friend" the only person he trusts really.

But don't let any of this information discourage you if you ship Spritz and Stitch go ahead,I'd definitely be interested on seeing how people interpret it.

And as the creator of Spritz and Stitch I personally can't imagine them together?

Sure at times it seems like I'm shipping them when they interact,but Spritz just picks on everyone that way,he flirts to get reactions and laughs and picks on the person if they end up blushing. He's a prankster it's just how it is,and Stitch's blush in those points is always out of anger,embarrassment,or ect never related to romantic feelings.

(Though the closest to feelings he has is how much he cares for his Toriel dolls,Toriel holds a special place in that..shard of a soul he holds.)

Love to see how any of you interpret Spritz and Stitch!<3
