(Context: It's a more silly take on the Infection AU, in which the virus only causes physical distortion and often psychological distress, as opposed to turning the ponies into flesh-eating monsters)

my take on DNIs
An extensive or strongly-worded DNI list broadcasts a lot of information about the person posting it, and it's usually not complimentary. (With the exception of "Minors DNI", most DNIs I've seen are either so obvious they don't even bear mention, or they are so pointedly opinionated and restrictive that I wonder what the person posting them is doing on a social media platform where they might have to--gasp!--interact with other people.) For this reason, even if your DNIs don't describe me, I may steer clear of you just to say 'no thanks' to fandom drama.
The house with the "Go away" sign on the door is not the place I want to spend my time, even if the sign wasn't meant for me.
