When Agent Townshend goes incommunicado during an investigation, Sally goes a-looking for him, but what she finds instead is conspiracy in, "The Exoneration of Sharkfeather"
Welcome to Tavilii... The Kingdom of Sharkfeather...
Cold Open:
Agent Townshend investigates a massacre in Outpost Minnow's Wake on the island of Tavilii, otherwise known as Sharkfeather's Claim, otherwise known as, The Kingdom of Sharkfeather. And then- A horde of Sweels.
Roll Intro.
Sally meets Agent Finnigan at the rendezvous point. She wants Sally to pin the Outpost massacre on Lord Sharkfeather, give Military Command a reason to clear the entire island out.
Sally searches Townshend's office for clues. His personal files indicate Sharkfeather was diplomatic.
Sally searches Outpost Minnow's Wake.
Sally comes up empty-handed only to be confronted by Search & Rescue, demanding she leave the area. Not heeding the command of the officer, Sally sneaks around the outpost further, until she meets Gil Hummly, an aquatic dwelling person working the Outpost until the massacre. He says it wasn't Sharkfeather. It was the Sweels. They're becoming sick. Turning red from green. Becoming violent. They're spreading across the island. Now, Sally must warn Sharkfeather about the government plot AND the horde of sick Sweels.
The Kingdom of Sharkfeather holds the natural springs that allow the island to sustain life. Sharkfeather makes sure these springs stay well maintained and safe.
Sally warns Sharkfeather's advisors of the government plot and of the Sweels. Cap'n Conch, the SecurityBot. General Riptide. Ambassador Flounders.
The Holy Man. The Holy Man's daughter, Harrig, the Seer. Sharkfeather's Queen, Lady Nol with her right-hand man, Huvo.
Squidds Marley, Sharkfeather's right-hand man, and Sharkfeather, himself.
Hobbleday the Lookout warns the Sweels are entering the natural springs and tainting the water supply. He warns that the Quantum Pumps need to be activated immediately, but there's no time.
The sick Sweels enter the natural springs, tainting the waters with their sickness.
The natural spring reservoir becomes tainted.
The Holy Site of the Source becomes sickly pink.
There is time, if Sally can get back to the Outpost. The Z7 she saw sitting there will do the trick in getting her to the quantum pumps in time to purify the Sweel sickness in the waters.
The Quantum Pumps save the natural springs and the island.
Oh, Agent Townshend was fine. The Sweels had him in a cave somewhere. His files exonerated Sharkfeather (Hey! Just like the title said!) and the gov't left him and his people alone. The Sweels died off, there was no cure for them and no one looked into it.
