thought about the sc gang as tumblr users and immediately came to the conclusion that under no circumstances can damien be let on tumblr. or other social media, but tumblr especially. the keep needs some kind of alarm system for if it sees him making an account where it turns on a sprinkler and shorts out his (fantasy) computer. king would reach previously unheard of levels of scrupulosity.

Sometimes I wonder what fragrances and perfume marketing would be like in the Mass Effect universe.
Like any sensible company would try and make bank off of customers who wanna increase their chances of getting lucky with other species, no? There would absolutely be fragrances marketed to make yourself "unforgettable to any turian you cross paths with," or "get a krogan's blood raging," even "hanar won't be able to keep their tentacles off you."
I also wonder which scents humans could smell, or if they were only discernable to other species with stronger olfactory, so humans just have to assume they didn't just buy expensive, odourless water, or that they aren't victim of a scam that actually has you spritzing Vorcha BO behind your ears.
I also spend too much time wondering what kind of human scents would be appealing to other races, like would turians lose their absolute shit if you smelled like cinnamon? Would spilling coffee on yourself somehow make you irresistible to asari? What if Krogan really liked the smell of bubblegum?

Always funny to me when my coworkers notice how much of a germaphobe I am when they see me wipe down my cart in the morning. I dont just wipe the handle, I wipe the top of the sides and the top part of the baby seat, places where people grab other than the handle. Then I use hand sanitizer bc by that point I've touched: the cart, the scanner locker screen and locker, my scanner (also wipe that shit down, yuck), my lock, and the spray bottle. So yucky places.
I mean hey maybe I'm not giving my immune system that boost of exposure, but I'm also not giving it covid, norovirus, or influenza from touching the cart and scanner so 🤷♀️

how to tell who put a blanket over you when you fell asleep somewhere random in VP HQ part 2:
a nondescript blanket is haphazardly thrown over your lap: yoru, who casually chucks any nearby blanket-looking thing at you without really looking.
the blanket is accompanied by a cuddly tasmanian tiger and a glowing flower crown: skye, whose creations hum soothingly, ensuring you wake feeling rested
the cloth is strongly coffee scented. you feel very awake, all of a sudden: fade, lending you the shroud she clings to when seeking a reprieve from unconsciousness, when her own demons hunt her out of her sleep
you are buried in a pile of small pillows: jett, who spent at least 20 minutes constructing a nest around you, giggling silently
shrugging off the blanket, you receive a static shock when you next touch a metal item (or kay/o): neon, who would ground her excess charge before draping the blanket over if it wasn't ultimately harmless and, well, the other young agents find it amusing?
the couch is on fire: phoenix, who has been told not to do this at least 15 times. the good news is that all but one of the couch cushions has been treated to be fire-retardant, because brim got tired of replacing the whole couch and begged viper to please, please make some kind of non-flammable chemical concoction.
