Fragrant Flower Path

This is Fragrant Flower Path! Originally released in November 2022 as part of a 2v2 event, it is paired with Phantasmic Butterfly, and is the first of the two. It cost 1608 diamonds the first time around, and went up to 2448 diamonds without free tries. Costs assume a 100% win rate, so it might end up costing a little more if you rack up some losses. This event will likely return in the same format.

It comes with a posed hair, two posed dresses, and posed earrings. It includes three moveables as well as makeup. There IS a tilt to this outfit, but it's very minor.

It's one of the first suits I got with an extra posed dress, as October 2022 is when Love Nikki started making two sets of posed items, one without extra accessories. In my opinion, this particular extra posed dress is very underwhelming, as it's only missing the very small handheld by her face.

I decided to use the Spring in Day background from the Glazed World event because it's just so cute! I don't normally use this background because it has foreground items that partially obscure your Nikki, so it's a little more work for me.

overcome with the sudden urge to listen to songs my friend likes...what does that mean

#the friend i had some massive platonic thing for back in october 2021 and then again for a bit at the start of 2022 #the one with the girlfriend who i had absolute drama with in 3rd year of uni. but not for reasons of like. me formerly having a thing for #her boyfriend but actually just bc she was a bitch and really toxic and manipulative to him anD THEY'RE STILL TOGETHER what is up with that #anyway i have a playlist of songs he likes and i am. Listening to it...... all of a sudden #wtf wthag the fuckkk wha tfo you mean ye what i #but i also have the overwhelming need to listen to songs i liked in spring 2020. idek why i'm experiencing both these things at once #i didn't even know him in spring 2020 #i think it's bc i was thinking about the secret history this morning which was soooo spring 2020 for me #and don't delete the kisses was The song of spring 2020 it was so symbolic of. the events going on at work #and my friend loves that song and we listened to the album on vinyl together at like 1am on the sofa in october 2021 and.#and i accidentally just listened to that song which is responsible for me currently experiencing both these Vibes #anyway disregard this post i am just feeling thoughts and thinking feelings #ramble

🌼 Spring of the Series 🌼

okay, it’s accountability time, booklr. in my 2022 goals, I decided I wanted to try to read a series from my TBR each month and I have been doing dismally at that. while I’ve attempted enough series to be on-track with that goal, I haven’t actually finished many, and the number of series on my TBR just keeps getting bigger.

so, for the next three months, the entirety of the Australian spring season, I’m only going to read books that are part of a series. hopefully. I have tried to do this before (if you remember my Summer of the Series attempt, bless you, you’ve been here a long time lol) and it didn’t go well but I’m not going to set myself a TBR or anything, I’m just gonna pick things as they appeal to me.

I have 28 complete series on my TBR that I can attempt - if I can halve that number, mostly by reading things rather than DNF-ing, I’ll be comfortable calling that successful. but let’s just see how it goes

I’ll probably be posting up when I start things as well as finish them to keep myself focused but also don’t be afraid to check in on me and ask about what I’m reading, whether I like the series or whatever. keep me accountable, please! and let’s hope this works lol

Growing Pains

It was an absolute pleasure to work with @eliza-faust-diary for the @inu-spiration reverse bang event! I was super excited to partner with her because 1) her artwork is beautiful!!! And 2) we both love mirsan!

I decided to sign up for this event on a whim because I thought it could help me with my writers block. It definitely took me outside my comfort zone because I was writing characters that I had never written before. It was a lot of fun to brainstorm and collaborate with her, and I am pleased with the end result.
