=happy pride, everyone! spn pride week is back this year from sunday june 19th to saturday june 25th. this is a fan-led event celebrating queer stories and characters in and around supernatural! this year’s theme days are as follows:

day 1: pride/nature - what does it mean to you to be proud? how you imagine your favorite characters celebrating their own pride? [june 19th] day 2: mlm/healing - mlm stands for men loving men, and this day is dedicated to celebrating them [june 20th] day 3: trans/sunlight - day 3 is dedicated to characters who fall under the trans/nonbinary/gender nonconforming umbrella [june 21st] day 4: wlw/joy - wlw stands for women loving women, and this day is dedicated to celebrating them [june 22nd] day 5: found family/magic - day 5 is all about the friends we made along the way. how is found family important to our favorite queer characters? how do they love and support each other? [june 23rd] day 6: queer poc/power - day 6 is dedicated to celebrating and lifting up queer poc [june 24th] day 7: aroace/spirit - day 7 is for celebrating aromantic and/or asexual characters [june 25th]

the secondary prompts for each day are based on the meanings behind gilbert baker’s original pride flag stripes, so feel free to incorporate them in any way that is meaningful to you!

if you’d like, we’re also including “flags” as an overarching theme for the week!

rules/info:

make sure to tag #spnprideweek or @/spnprideweek so we can see your amazing works!

each day has two themes- you can incorporate both into one piece, create two separate pieces, or choose one theme to focus on!

you can participate in as many or as few days as you want

creations can include fics, art, amvs, etc- however you want to celebrate and get creative

headcanons and canon are both welcome!

in addition to the prompts listed above, this entire week our blog will be open for you tell us your queer or gender-related stories! these can range from personal anecdotes to how the show and/or its characters helped with your coming out or understanding yourself, or anything else that you feel comfortable sharing. we’ll be posting these all week, so feel free to send us an ask (either on anon or off), submission, or tag us in your posts!

no incest of any kind will be accepted. we will also not be reblogging any rpf or nsfw, as minors do follow and participate in this event.

what could Thanatos give that we can't create in the space between the stars and the salt of the seas flowing into your grace I found humanity and we got enough love to spend eternity

there was no life. Only duty,

and obligation, and death for the cause.

but now they can live, with a hunter's family

and a house - a home - for them

and they can turn to one side and see,

watch their love guide a three-year-old into growing,

turn to the other side and see their brother and his wife,
