Fans: "Oh my god they keep putting Spider-Man through so much pain and suffering! They can't let him have one good moment! They need to give him actual support and let him take a break and not put everything on his shoulders!"
Insomniac: *Makes the story about how despite Spider-man being in his prime, Spider-man is at his weakest point due to the affects of the first game and him internalizing his pain and suffering, and is shown getting help from the kid he took in along with the people around him to get him back onto his feet and to help him overcome his pain. He now learned that he can rely on his apprentice to help handle things as a partner rather than a student, so he can find a healthy balance between being Spider-man and being Peter Parker without giving up being either, along with giving him a new set of powers to learn from and discover and a revelation that he isn't alone anymore*
Fans: "Oh my god they nerfed spider-man so much! They made him so emotionally weak and needing to get help from his friends so the game can replace him with this WoKe perfect version of Spider-Man who has a healthier more stable life which means they are trying to make Peter look horrible! BOTH Peter AND Miles ARE Spider-Men, neither one is better than the other, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT. Peter lifted up Miles from a dark place in the first game, and in the second game Miles was the one to lift Peter up from a dark place. They both have their own unique traits, and unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. No one is taking over and no one is getting replaced.
The spider verse reference was just a fun little easter egg in a Sony game to show off the Sony movie, NOTHING MORE.
SO SHUT UP, SIT DOWN, AND JUST ENJOY THE LOVELY GAME THAT WE SHOULD ALL BE GRATEFUL TO EVEN HAVE BECAUSE I'M STARTING TO THINK THE FANDOM DOESN'T DESERVE TO HAVE SUCH A LOVELY CREATED SPIDER-MAN STORY WITH TWO AMAZINGLY WRITTEN SPIDER-MEN.

Dating Peter Parker Would Include:
Warnings: fluff, mention of heights, headcanons are definitely gender neutral (no mention of any nicknames meant for women) so it's safe for everyone, mention of miles
listen, like one line is self-indulgent because i have a massive fear of heights. it's so bad that i can only go on indoor rollercoasters that are dark because i can't see a thing. im no fun at amusement parks.
He's nothing but a sweetheart
He's also a giant cuddle monster and wouldn't mind being the big spoon or the small spoon.
If you were with him and he was able to hold you, that was all that mattered.
Dates with him were simple
They ranged from picnics or just a simple walk in the park.
Sometimes he'd let you have the Spider-Man experience by holding you as he swung through the city of New York.
If you had a fear of heights, he wouldn't even try it.
He knew fears were valid, so Peter wouldn't put you in that position.
Especially if it meant that you'd be upset with him for hours.
However, if you were ever mad at him, he'd do everything to make you happy again.
He'd come home with a bunch of your favorite snacks, and your favorite drink.
All Peter wanted was your forgiveness and would let you decide if you wanted to be in his arms or not.
If you did, he'd throw himself on the bed with you in his arms and holding you close.
He'd pepper your face with kisses and tell you how much he loves you.
If you ever told him you just wanted to stay in and cuddle, he wouldn't even hesitate.
Eventually, he would ask if you were okay.
He knew sometimes you just wanted cuddles, but he had to be sure it wasn't because you were sad or anything.
If you were, he'd cheer you up with his jokes that were both corny but funny.
That was just Peter's thing, you know?
Going back to Spider-Man, he'd definitely be down to do the Spider-Man kiss with you.
He'd think about it often on missions to the point where Miles asked him why he was giggling when he was upside down.
Peter told him he'd understand soon, lightly teasing him about his relationship with Hailey.
Miles felt his cheeks grow warm at Peter's teasing before jokingly telling him to shut up.
Peter would laugh at the retort before patting his friend's shoulder.
He's also the biggest gentleman you've ever known.
He'd kiss your knuckles just because.
The chair would always be pulled out for you because he felt like his partner should be treated like royalty
The door would always be open for you, and he'd always let you go first.
It didn't matter to him to be honest.
As long as you and him were happy, that's all that mattered to him.

Some Harry Osborn headcanons bc i cant stop thinking about him. (Mostly applies to the game version of him.)
He has a 14 step skincare routine that he doesnt use. Instead he mostly just cleanses/exfoliates in the shower and uses his intensely fancy moisturiser
Whenever Peters hard up for a place to stay, Harry pretends like hes just having a sleepover to try and make him more comfortable with it
Really into math rock and prog metal.
When he came out of the tank he cried for a solid twenty minutes at all the work peter had done for his research stations so they didnt go under.
Reads a lot of mindfullness and emotional regulation books. Hes convinced all his problems could be solved with healthy communication.
Doesnt actually know how to healthily communicate.
Uses one (1) very specific brand of Cologne you can only get from prague because it's the equal and opposite to the one his mom got in prague one time ten years ago.
Even though he has a reputation for being humble, down to earth, and not flaunting his wealth, Harry secretly has really expensive taste. Got really excited during the 'quiet luxury' trend.
Hates the idea of all beige minimalism. Wants everything to be as warm and cosy as possible.
Gets really melancholic at night when hes alone, typically when he cant get ahold of peter or mj.
He hates being and feeling alone. The isolation, even for small amounts of time, kills him because he was so isolated when he was in hospice.
