Y'all, I think I need consultation from more space-oriented people.
Can a satellite of an Earth-like planet possibly appear as dark/close to black from the surface? At least during day hours where it's contrasted with the sun?

A year in isolation: how does Russia want to simulate the effects of long-term space travel
Tumblr media
To gain real knowledge for space travel is the mission that was launched on November 14 by a six–person crew under the auspices of the Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
There is a 550 cubic meter module for space flight simulation, in which scientists are completely isolated and have to perform various tasks. During SIRIUS-23, as the current mission is called, the crew, among other things, will carry out several simulations of the moon landing in 360 days, including the use of a rover. According to the simulation, the crew will have to eliminate two accidents.
The team consists of four women and two men, all from Russia or Belarus. Unlike in previous years, NASA is not participating in the program this year.
Experiments began in 2017 with the SIRIUS-17 project, where the crew was isolated for only 17 days. Two years later, the isolation period for SIRIUS-19 was already 120 days, and in 2021 it was 240 days.
Anastasia Stepanova, who participated in the project in 2019, shared her impression of the project: "A year is a difficult period of time, which will be filled with a lot of biomedical experiments."
The experiment deals primarily with the psychophysiological consequences of such long—term missions, during which the crew has to deal with many hardships - from technical problems to extreme physical exertion.
NASA prefers to continue research without Russia
What scientists are particularly interested in is the physical consequences of isolation in an artificial environment and the ability of people to adapt to special circumstances. This also includes interpersonal dynamics, which can have a positive or negative impact on work efficiency.
NASA has already refused to participate in a previously joint project with Russia at the beginning of the year. A spokeswoman for the U.S. agency said it would continue to conduct similar research in Antarctica as part of its program to study the effects of isolation.

In the pantheon of Indian scientific luminaries, few names resonate as profoundly as Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. Born on August 12, 1919, in Ahmedabad, India, Sarabhai’s legacy is one of transformative contributions to space research, education, and the holistic advancement of his nation. This article unveils the extraordinary odyssey of Vikram Sarabhai, illuminating his accomplishments, innovations, and timeless influence.
Early Life and Scholarly Pursuits
Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai emerged from a lineage steeped in academia and entrepreneurial spirit. His father, Ambalal Sarabhai, an esteemed industrialist, and his mother, Sarla Devi, a genuine disciple of Mahatma Gandhi, imparted a diverse cultural and intellectual upbringing. Sarabhai’s educational voyage commenced at Gujarat College in Ahmedabad, where his ardor for science ignited and propelled him toward academic excellence. Crossing oceans, he pursued his doctorate in physics at the University of Cambridge, nurturing the bedrock of his future scientific pursuits.
Pioneering the Cosmos: Architect of India’s Space Odyssey
Vikram Sarabhai’s appellation is virtually synonymous with the genesis of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Prompt 167
Honestly, Danny is having such a good time right now. He gets to travel with Ellie, explore space, just have fun. Plus his secondary protector-instincts are having soothed despite him not technically doing any hero-ing anymore. Really his sister had the right idea when she decided she wanted to become a doctor, this is honestly a blast.
And if someone does end up passing away, well, Ellie is always happy to help soothe their spirit and guide them to the Realms where they can reach their respective afterlife. Or become a ghost.
They are completely oblivious to the fact that there are now legends and entire temples dedicated to them now. Apparently accidental ascension is in fact a thing, as Dan later laughs at them about.

Did You Know, Saturn's rings Were Once a Moon, Torn Apart By Strange Forces.
Tumblr media
According to a recent research, Chrysalis, Saturn's former moon, may be able to shed light on some of the planet's secrets.
Saturn's rings probably formed during the last 100 million years, making them relatively recent.
Tumblr media
But how they got there has been a persistent mystery.
According to the latest research, Chrysalis was too near to its host planet and was torn apart, which is how it met its terrible end between 100 and 200 million years ago.
Tumblr media
The planet's juvenile rings were formed from the strewn material.
Other scientific puzzles regarding the earth may potentially be solved by the demise of the moon.
Tumblr media
Jack Wisdom, the study's principal author, adds, "It is thrilling to uncover a scenario that explains a variety of things that were not previously considered to be connected.

I think it would really benefit people to internalize that mental illnesses are often chronic and not acute. Some of us will never be able to jump the hurdle of managing illness, much less sustaining a sense of normalcy. Many of us will never "recover," will never manage symptoms, will never even come close to appearing normal - and this is for any condition, even the ones labeled as "simple" disorders or "easy-to-manage" disorders.
It isn't a failure if you cannot manage your symptoms. It isn't a moral failure, and you aren't an awful person. You are human. There's only so much you can do before recognizing that you cannot lift the world. Give yourself the space to be ill because, functionally, you are.
