Uh okay, me again, the screenshots in the submission with the viewpoints of Japanese fans are mostly if not all average fans, not Ichihime shippers as that anon claims. This is also partly why I included the source links so anyone can see for themselves lol. I didn't go looking for Ichihime fans opinions, I literally just screenshot the first results of the relevent chapter/episode from a Google search. In fact I believe one of those Japanese bloggers has a preference for Ichiruki and Ishihime. The anon claims lots of Japanese fans share the same opinion as them but I have yet to come across one. Like I said, this is not even an argument in the Japanese fandom. I find it curious that this so called "Japanese speaking anon" who definitely speaks Japanese comes into your inbox with no proof at all lmao. Also I have to laugh at this "it's in third person" argument, that has got to be the most uncreative and quite possibly the dumbest strawman I have ever seen when it comes to the Lust arc chapters 🤣
Oh yeah, I should have pointed this out as well that not all the references from that post were from IchiHime shippers, as you can tell that many of them were talking about the moment in a disparaging/disappointed manner rather than celebrating it lol. And the whole point of that post was to refute the anon from last week who was ranting about how anyone who understood Japanese didn’t think that he rose up for Orihime. But the submission shows that clearly isn’t true. And thank you again for submitting the post in the first place 🙏🏻

I love the Order of Yani's light half. The large room where these worshipers reside is just so beautiful in my head and I've had compliments on how I put it on the page, though I still think it needs more justice than my words hold.
Not until he crossed the threshold of the other side of the Order did the sun finally find the interior of the church. Bright yellow rays intermingled with the silks of the same shade strung around the grand circular room. The windows stretched from the floor to halfway up the walls and were tinted with cheerful and warm shades of color. The room was large enough to house an army and held a kaleidoscopic array of couches, cushions, daybeds, and glittering tables of gold dispersed between them. It was like being inside a noble’s goblet, the way the glass windows shone all around flaked with gold reflections in this high rising and circular room. This space was crafted to hold such lavish and, dare he think upon it, perverse events on a daily basis.
Chit thanked Yani that today seemed to be a slow one, as only the priestesses of the Order’s light side were present. They flitted about in their bright yellow and orange robes of various fashions, each suited to their body in ways that made heat rise to his cheeks as he walked by them. They tittered at him with fleeting looks ranging from passive to concerned. One of the older women waved him down and tsked at his wounds.
“You know you aren’t to bring blood here.” She took off her sheer scarf and wrapped it quickly over his head after cleaning off his fingers. “Come on. Chinea is in the back.”

What are dead man walking tornadoes? :O
it’s a multi-vortex tornado. i dont remember the tribe it originates from (i think it was cherokee), but there’s a native american legend…? saying? that goes “if you see a man in a tornado, you are about to die.”
the most infamous shot of a dead man walking tornado hit jarrell, texas in 1997
it did so much damage to the town it caused the scale that tornados are measured by, the fijita scale, undergo revisions, and it made anchoring buildings in the tornado alley region pretty much mandatory. (it took the entire town off the map. only those who had taken shelter outside of the town or in underground bunkers survived.)
two more examples of dead man walking tornadoes looking like a person are a tornado from 2011 that hit cullman, alabama
and a tornado from 1975 that hit xenia, ohio
edit: it has been brought to my attention that the native american “legend” part of this post was a rumor spread by a documentary.

like, just imagine being out on a ride with the rest of the boys and they stop by a bodega for snacks or smthn idk (johnny definitely needs to piss) and you notice the way simon’s shoulders are shaking in a silent laughter while the rest of the squad is turned towards the two of you, watching with rapt interest.
you flip your visor up. “what’s goin’ on?” you ask
simon heaves a deep sigh, calming himself down, before patting your knee and getting off the bike. he flicks the kill-switch and kicks at the side stand to keep the bike from tilting.
he doesn’t help you get off so you wonder if it’s just a quick stop, but then johnny hollers, “y’r not allowed to come in, lass!”
“what?”
simon turns to you with his visor up, his lips pursed in that boyish smile. “take care of the kids, yeah?”
he bends down just enough to bump his helmet on yours – a kiss, that you know – before walking to the bodega, flanked by the rest of the group.
what fucking kids-

you’re still frozen on his bike, watching as the group splits up – john heads towards the fridges, johnny asks the worker for a key for the washroom, kyle disappears between the shelved snacks, and simon stands by the window that is empty of pasted posters so he can stare back at you from inside the shop.
you shoot him a glare, one that you know he won’t even see because of the distance between you two.
simon gives you a small wave.
it isn’t until later when you’re pinching his thighs that he finally tells you what that was all about. he points to the “no backpacks allowed” sign and looks at you with a quirked brow.
“ohh!” you say as the realization dawns on you. simon huffs a laugh while johnny swats the back of your helmet lightly.
“took y’long enough, din’cha?”
you punch johnny’s shoulder in retaliation. “shut up, man.”
“yeah, man,” simon pipes up, trying, and failing, to tamp down his thick accent to mimic your intonation. “shut up- jesus, lovie. stop pinching me- ow!”
johnny snickers as he runs back to his bike.

Sorry if this is weird but I wanted to say it's so comforting to know that there are other lesbians in their mid-to-late 20s who haven't had their first kiss or anything. I know gay people in general tend to reach those milestones later than cishet people but I've always felt like I was way behind even my gay peers, and it has really put a dent in my sense of self-worth. So, you mentioning that you've never kissed anyone made me feel a little less alone. :) Love your art and hope you are doing well.
You should look at the concept of "your first kiss" less as a milestone you have to achieve at a certain age and more of an intimate thing that happens when YOU want to do it, if you even want to do it at all.
I have no idea what your situation is like, but personally I literally just haven't felt a super strong urge to kiss anyone near me here in this very South Texan city. People aren’t really “visibly” queer here with pride flags and stuff, including me. We’ve only had 2 small Pride parades before and that’s it. I'm sure this would eventually change if I lived somewhere more queer-friendly with more sapphics who were my specific type (butch and nonbinary lesbians are pretty much nonexistent here. I once got embarrassingly excited when I saw one(1) online who lived here. It’s like all the real attraction I’ve been deprived of all my life hit me like a truck. No, I’ve never talked to them lol)
......but I'm not saying the girls here aren't ever cute or anything. They’re beautiful actually. Mostly bisexual latinas. I've definitely had some gay moments here and there. It just wasn't enough to spiral into more than light flirting and a cheek kiss, I guess. There’s also the severity of insecurity and mental illness that makes one a homebody, but I don’t want to get into that right now.
So while I want it, I love the idea of it, I'm not really that ashamed about being inexperienced this late in life. Seems more common than people are willing to admit tbh. ANYWAY, I rambled too much. My point is you shouldn't tie this to your self-worth and don't let anyone, even other queer people, make you feel bad about it
