Sonic Movies making Sonic characters breathe
A continuation of this post
Sonic
I really love this one because Sonic's breathing is very clear here. You can even make out where his ribcage is! Also bonus appreciation for the fact they made debris stick to his fur
Poor baby 🥺 His chest fluttering so weakly because he just got beaten to an inch of life.
Tails
Tails is a little harder to spot sometimes as the camera doesn't always have his whole body in the shot. He is little, so there is a smaller chest space.
You can see his chest deflate as he lets out a gasp of joy 🥺
Little chest deflates. Chest fur ruffles.
Knuckles
Knuckles is, weirdly enough, trickier to spot, despite being the biggest. Because he is more solid and heavy built, this means that his breathing isn't just animated by his chest, but also by the rest of his body.
Big balloon chest puffed with pride deflates once he relaxes.
Again, tricky to spot, but watching Knuckles here, you can just make out his whole body quivering with breaths.
