Hi! My name's Aisha , I'm disabled Palestine queer. my situation is really concerning🚨 I am a pregnant woman who lives with my children and lives in a tent my blood sugar is high and I'm last to my pen. I need my insulin to bring my blood sugar back down. And medical care for the past 2 months. Everyday I am dying of fear and starvation.The cold is brutal.
As much as you can donate and sharing my campaign. Things have been really hard for me as only is at 60% of my final goal and needs as much as possible to be safely.
Funny how, within 16 hours, I got 2 asks from 2 nominally different people asking for money for running out of insulin. And that both accounts are 3-4 days old and reblogged over 50% the exact same posts. Really... really funny...
Even though I know you're a scammer, I still feel bad on the 0.001% chance that you're a real person who is going to lose the help you need. But for the other 99.99%? the overwhelming certainty that you *are* a scammer? You are one of the most loathsome creatures on the face of the earth, and you should take a *really* good look in the mirror and think about what you're doing with your life.

Beyond all of the other wild things wrong with your family, there's also the fact that it just breaks the established lore? As part of the rapture all kids under 13 are automatically taken.
When I was a kid my family pretended to get raptured so I would think I was left behind on earth while they all went to heaven.
I was like 8 years old and my sister and mom had gotten really into the Left Behind novels (bible fan fic about the rapture). In the books when the rapture happened the clothes that people were wearing when they got raptured were left behind in neatly folded piles.
One day when I was getting home from school my family decided that they would leave piles of neatly folded clothes around the house, and then hide in the basement.
The intended effect was that I would get home and see the clothes then, think that my family had been raptured and that I wasn’t good enough to get into heaven… or something?
The problem was that I had never read these books, and didn’t really think about the rapture very often. There was no reason that I would see some laundry on the floor and think “The rapture happened and I’ve been abandoned by God! I’ll never see my family again!! Oh nooo!!!!”
I just sat down and watched cartoons and eventually my family got bored and revealed that they were all hiding in the basement.
It’s a good thing I didn’t understand the joke, otherwise that shit would have been traumatic.

I’ve been trying to pull Crazy and Insane out of my language for like a year, and beyond being shocked how often I was using them the biggest thing I was surprised by was how hard it was to actually pull them out. Wild and Incredible and Absurd and You’re Kidding don’t have the same… kick to them, as it were? I wonder if that extra kick is *because* they’re punching down words. That doesn’t feel good to contemplate, but then growing rarely feels good. If anybody has replacement words they recommend I’d love to hear them?

Reminder from someone with actual literal brain damage from a brain injury to stop fucking using "brain damage" and "brain injuries" as a means of describing someone whose opinions you don't like or deem as stupid.
It's ableist and offensive as fuck, and for some reason a lot of leftist people think it's okay to use. I've seen posts replying to right wing racists calling them "brain damaged if you believe this" and "do you have a brain injury? do you not understand X?". Just now I saw a beautiful post about fat people throughout history that was absolutely ruined by opening with "How do we break it to boomers with actual brain damage and nostalgic brainrot, and the 'tradwife' thirsting Andrew Tate fans..." before continuing to say that fat people existed throughout history.
Brain damage does not make you racist. A brain injury doesn't make you stupid, or fatphobic, or unaware of history and politics. Stop fucking using my disability as a catch all to describe people you think are shitty. Y'all use it like it's a replacement for how people used to use the R-slur, which shows you learned absolutely nothing about why the R-slur was wrong to use and decided to throw in other disabilities instead. Fuck off and stop doing it.
(And don't do it with other disabilities either, because I know y'all do.)
I know a lot of people with brain injuries. They're smart, and funny, and compassionate. They learn about the world and care about social issues and wish they could go to protests if their disability won't allow them to. Are there right wing people with brain injuries? Sure, absolutely. But they are not right wing because they have a brain injury, and using any disability as an insult is still fucking ableist.
Tldr - stop using brain damage and brain injury as an insult. It's ableist and incredibly offensive.
