look at yourself, pretty... bottom male reader
!!.. amab reader, reader wears makeup, reader has a high ego, his bestfriend knocks that ego down lol, mirror sex, top likes to tease...
you stared at yourself in front of the mirror for the hundredth time today, admiring yourself and your choice of outfit for the day.
you twirled around a little checking how your shirt perfectly accentuated your waist and just how nicely your pants hugged your ass.
" i just picked the perfect outfit for today! " you yelled out while still checking yourself out in the mirror while your best friend eyed you.
" you done yet? " he asked, his voice unamused as he's already used to your behavior. you hummed while grabbing your things, already out of the room while yelling at him to hurry up.
he rolled his eyes, " i really don't get your obsession with mirrors.. " he murmured while catching up to you.
the both of you arrived at the cafe and finally managed to get a spot to sit at.
" i can't believe how crowded this place actually is.. the food better be good! " your best friend nodded while looking through the menu, already confused at some of the menu names.
while waiting for him to finish with the menu, you use the mini mirror you always bring with you to fix your hair and look at yourself.
after getting your fill and taking lots of insta worthy photos, you dragged him towards a nearby clothing store, already excited to try on new clothes.
you unlocked the door and showed yourself off to him, " so, how about this one? " you asked while twirling around to show it to him.
he looked you up and down before lazily replying. " yeah sure it looks great. can you hurry up? im getting bored. "
you tsked and closed the door again, opting to judge your outfit yourself. " ugh, you've been saying that for the past three outfits! honestly, why do i even bother asking you! " he rolled his eyes at you, even if you couldn't see it.
" though this other top might look cuter with these jeans... "
" hurry up and stop being so picky! "
after that whole fashion fiesta, you ended up buying all of it anyway, you started dragging him back and forth from place to place.
a satisfied hum escaped your lips as you suck on the spoon that contained gumball-flavored ice cream. you feel refreshed as the cold treat goes down your throat.
" ah.. this place is the best, isn't it? " you said while scooping up another spoon, already missing the taste of the sweet treat.
he hummed while licking up his strawberry ice cream, some of it already dripping down his fingers.
he watched as you set the ice cream down and pulled out your phone camera to look at yourself. " why do you keep looking at yourself on every reflective surface around you? no offense or anything.. " he suddenly asked.
you shut your phone and pick your ice cream up again while shrugging him off. " sometimes when you're just that pretty— "
a groan interrupted you, your best friend obviously annoyed at your response. you laughed at him, satisfied at annoying him again.
" i swear yn, i'm going to knock down that ego of yours. "
" i'd like to see you try. "
you shut your eyes as you tilt your head to the side. " oh no no no, don't you dare look away. " he says while forcing your head to the giant mirror in front of you. " open your fucking eyes, yn. "
you whine while forcing your eyes open to look at him, refusing to look at yourself getting dicked down in the mirror.
" come on, look at yourself pretty. don't you just love doing that? " you look down and shake your head, denying him even if he's actually right.
" i said look at yourself. it's really not that hard of a request right? " he whispered in your ear all while spreading your legs wider for you to see in the mirror.
you finally look at yourself and your dazed expression in the mirror. you glance down to look at how his dick is entering your hole, drool seeping out of your mouth.
he then slides his way onto your cock, rubbing and playing with the tip to tease you.
he laughs in your ear and lets go of your red cock, hoisting your legs up making his cock reach deeper in you and hitting that one spot.
your own best friend had you seated on him with his cock deep inside you. his two hands holding both of your legs up by grabbing under your knees.
he begins slowly, sliding you up and down his cock while enjoying your moans. he watches as your own cock twitch, begging for release already.
" hah look at you, drool down your face just because of this cock. " he taunts you causing you to shoot a glare at him using the mirror.
" s-shut up! if my makeup isn't ruined then are you even fucking me good? honestly, if you— " before your sentence could even finish, he slams you down on his dick making a loud moan escape your mouth.
" not fucking you good? oh, i'll make sure you're fucking crying after this, pretty. "
you whined out loud while trying to bury your face into the sheets, your makeup already long gone, smeared into said sheets.
he pulls your hair up to make you look up into the mirror, not even bothering to stop thrusting into you. " look at yourself pretty. see how your makeup is ruined now? " he mocks you.
you tried to look at yourself, trying to see how your mascara runs down your face because of your nonstop tears, your tears almost wiping the mascara clean. your lipstick smears itself all over your lips with drool and moans escaping from it.
but your eyes keep rolling up from the pleasure, your tears making your vision blurry.
he laughs as he watches your attempt at focusing on yourself, loving the way your eyes kept rolling upwards from how good he's fucking you.
" come on pretty, just look at yourself. don't you love to do that? " he forces your head back down into the sheets, muffling your moans and whines all while cumming into you for the third time already.
he then starts rubbing your cock, your previous release acting as lube for it.
you moan out loud into the sheets as you shoot your load for the fifth time already. "mmh.. no more! " you beg him, your voice muffled.
" ehh..? but im just starting to have fun! "

Like a lot of people I sometimes ponder what my favorite characters might look like if they were allowed to grow older. I've been seeing a lot of good designs for older Soren specifically so of course I got to thinkin' about my own take!
Some notes on design process under the cut cause I think we should all share our thought process once in a while:
So, for this I didn't want to just want to go with "Soren, exactly the same but older". My thought was "if I was actually in charge of designing for a fire emblem game, one that takes place in a future Tellius perhaps and featuring this character as a guest (a la Tiki or the Awakening trio, which they should keep doing BTW) how would I go about doing that".
Tumblr media
You have to think of course, about what the character is actually doing and what their role is. It seems pretty likely that after RD Soren is either traveling the world with Ike or wandering around (probably the former) so "traveler" was the theme. As far as the overall shape and the outer layer especially it seemed obvious to reference the dragons, who are also travelers:
Tumblr media
I don't want to just straight up copy the look of the robes though for a couple of reasons. 1) that's boring and the idea here is for an updated visual style 2) I wanted to combine different elements to evoke a feeling of mixing cultures. I figure if this scenario takes place say, 80 years in the future or something, fashions will have moved forward and perhaps you would see elements of beorc and laguz fashions mixed together. Especially for Soren given what he is. So I went with an inner layer that looks more Victorian puffy sleeves (which you don't actually see a lot of in PoR or RD since the characters favor more stiff looking tunics, but they are there and I figured its the future and maybe Crimea has entered its puffy shirt era) with the outer layer looking more like what the dragons wear. 3) Staying with robes seems kind of stagnant. I imagine that a much older Soren who's lived a good life along side his love has probably chilled out a little bit. A little bit. 4) I think having more leg visible gives a more adult silhouette.
Tumblr media
The other consideration is the hairstyle. As much as I love Soren being a carbon copy of Rajaion, it wouldn't be the most interesting design choice if I was the character designer of a game to just copy a past design 1 for 1. So I decided to just lengthen his hair a little bit and give it a look like its been blown around in the wind. Soren is the windy guy and I'm assuming he would be more chill here so why not let it be loose and free? This also helps avoid him just looking like Sephiran cause I see that a lot too lol.
Yes I also changed the shape of his brand. I've always been fascinated by the fact that it changed shape between games. I know it was likely just a design oversight but what if it changed because he isn't an adult yet and it changes more as he ages?
Lastly there's the why. Why would your fav show up as a guest character? What would he even do?? Well I think Soren could be really fun actually if we assume he went with Ike and that Ike kept Ragnell with him. I'm picturing a situation where Ike has lived out his natural life and died, leaving Soren to return to Tellius alone in order to tell Mist's family what happened (cause Ike just left without telling anyone anything lol), and to return Ragnell to them. Instead some conflict breaks out, you know how it is, and the more chilled out Soren is convinced to bestow the sword onto the new starry-eyed lord who reminds him of his beloved.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah. I can see it now.

Where is Levi's cravat?
The last time we saw levi wearing the cravat was when he got severely injured by the thunder spear and Hange found him after that when he woke up and dressed up again he didn't wear his cravat and even in the post war scene he didn't wear his iconic cravat.
I have a 2 possibilities about his cravat's whereabouts:
His cravat got lost when Hange rescued him and got flown away in the waters. I believe this to be more true.
He simply put it aside and rarely ever wore it again. He was still in delicate condition in the final battle so maybe he chose not to wear it since it can just cause mishaps while fighting and also cuz he didn't want a fabric around his neck it would feel uncomfortable in this condition.
For why he didn't wear it in the post war, I believe the cravat was important to him, we don't see him with cravat in the underground but as a soldier we see it being a part of his uniform and sometimes even casual wear (the black coat and shirt in season 2). The cravat gives him a graceful and elegant look, Isayama probably had it as a style choice but still I feel like there is more to his cravat.
His cravat gives a sense of responsibility and duty to me as well as a fashion choice. I looked up some stuff about cravat on Google and it turns out it was of military origin. The cravat was first seen on Croatian mercenaries enlisted by the French who knotted cloths around their necks, from linens worn by the soldiers to the fine silks worn by the officers, later on as we know it became a popular fashion choice.
This gives Levi's cravat more correlation with his duty as a soldier and captain to me, he usually wore it on duty and with his uniform and even tho Levi doesn't need to wear cravat to show his devotion to his duty and humanity.
I feel it was more of Levi thinking it was professional look, and a sense of being on duty meant being a soldier, a captain in this moment, so he maybe chose to wear the cravat because of that or maybe the cravat might have just been a casual choice of clothing he liked the look of , but I still believe the former more than it just been a casual choice. So if he still had the cravat(which I believe he doesn't) and chose not to wear it then it meant It was the end of his duty as a captain and that's why he doesn't wear it anymore.
He will continue to help children and those in need but he just isn't a soldier and captain on duty anymore.
-> I know about the headcanon where the cravat is actually a piece of kuchel's dress and even tho it is a sad headcanon, I personally don't believe it cuz imo Levi wouldn't want his mom's cloth to get dirty in battle.
-> do y'all have some theories and views on Levi's cravat too?
-> also I don't know much about the history of cravat, I just Googled it so sorry for any silly mistakes

"the confidence when he's playing a role vs the insecurity when he's being himself" is such a good way to put it, and there's times I've fantasized about having a line that deft to throw at the haters. I'll keep it in my back pocket if such a situation ever arises again.
Please do!
I've been an AtS fan for a long time, and something I've always found so compelling about Angel is how easy it is for him to slip into a disguise and walk into a situation armed only with his own confidence in the role he's playing. He does it several times - especially over the course of the first two seasons of AtS - and I am absolutely enthralled by it. He's suddenly an art museum guide, a police detective in charge of a crime scene, a priest, 'cool' vampire J-Don, a lawyer, a French guy who loves fashion. Angel would never go out in a Hawaiian shirt and beach hat on his own, but he has zero problem with becoming Herb Saunders: Clueless Tourist from Baltimore in front of a mob boss. There are a lot of things this says to me about his character:
He's clever.
He's spontaneous.
He's calm under pressure.
He's good at improv/bluffing and should probably call Rebecca Lowell's agent and just become an actor already.
He doesn't care how strangers perceive him. This is the one that I think a lot of fans don't really understand about Angel. This man does not give a fuck. The reason he wouldn't wear a Hawaiian shirt on a normal day but is happy to do it in front of Little Tony isn't because he's embarrassed for other people to see him in a loud shirt - clearly - but because Angel has his own particular style that he feels comfortable in as himself and doesn't want to wear something that doesn't appeal to him, unless he himself chooses to wear it for a reason. It's like with the pink motorcycle helmet. Angel has no problem with other people mistaking him for a gay man, so when he doesn't want to wear the ladies' helmet, it's not because it might affect anyone else's perception of him but because he doesn't want to wear that helmet and he didn't get a choice. He likes his dark clothes and he likes his car, and the fake swami accuses him of developing this type of style to cultivate a persona for other people to appreciate without taking into consideration that these things appeal to Angel himself regardless of what strangers think. The only folks that he does actually care about in terms of their impressions of him are his friends, and so he'll correct them (sometimes) when they misinterpret him, but often he lets them think what they want about him, too. Which is maybe why it feels like Angel is so often misunderstood in fandom - because so many fans simply accept other characters' opinions of Angel as if they are fact rather than actually looking at Angel himself. Like with the smiling thing. There's an overwhelming fannish opinion that Angel doesn't smile very much because there are characters in the show who say he should smile more. But outside of serious or dangerous situations, Angel actually smiles all the time, and if it's any less than Wes or Gunn then it's only because he's more often in situations where it would be really weird to be smiling. He's a pleasant guy unless he's been given a reason not to be!
I also headcanon that one of the reasons Angel is so good at pretending to be someone else is because human camouflage is something that is literally built into his physiology as a vampire. Pretending to be something they aren't is a super important skill for all vampires, not just defensively in order to move through the human-dominated world but also as a means of getting close to their primary source of food. Angel spent 150ish years using his human face to deceive his prey while hunting, then a further 100ish years using it to blend in and disappear. Wolf in sheep's clothing, except the sheep's clothing is a really fucking good impression of a normal human being and he can wear it all the time. It comes naturally to vampires to pass as something they're not (we're ignoring the friend of Xanderrrrr's here) and Angel has 250 years of experience of people-watching. If he couldn't do pretty good imitations of different kinds of people by this point, I'd be surprised and disappointed in him.
But also! When we first meet Angel in the show, he's had very little experience interacting with humans while he's trying to be himself and not play some role to accomplish some kind of purpose. He's never had friends before, at least not with a soul, and he has no example of another vampire with a soul to imitate or learn from. He's flying totally blind, navigating unfamiliar territory, AND has conflicting impulses. So when he's insecure about his feelings and actions and expectations in his own life, that is also as natural for him as the confidence when it comes to pretending to be someone else.
Er, thanks for coming to my TED Talk?

Trans morro and kai fashion/ clothing headcannons?
I don't think I quite understand this ask, but I'm gonna freestyle it lol
Destinyshipping Fashion Headcanons ft. Trans!Morro
Morro didn't have a sense of style well into his afterlife and after-afterlife. Seriously. The guy lived a good majority of his life on the streets, he didn't care about what his fashion choices were, he just needed clothes dammit. He was fond of his Ninja Gi, but that was it. Practicality outweighed fashion in his mind. That's why his gi was so ripped up and disheveled as a ghost - it still functioned so he didn't feel a need to change it.
Kai is the opposite. Sure, growing up he didn't exactly have the resources to style it up, but he learned how to make his own clothes for himself and Nya. He's very familiar with designing and what fabrics feel and look great on him. While he prefers to buy his own clothes now, he's still huge on getting them custom made and fitted to him, just how he designed them. Then there's his style -
Kai's style is trendy. He likes to layer with jackets and will proudly wear his symbol in almost everything. Red of course, he's not going to let anyone doubt who he is. He likes bracelets and necklaces too, and sometimes he'll dabble in a few earrings. When he first started taking Morro shopping for clothes with him, he basically bought him similar things - except in shades of green and black - but they very quickly realized that didn't suit him at all.
Morro stuck with baggy clothes a lot after coming back to life, because he got to experience chest pain if he binded for too long now. So buying jackets with Kai did have a practical reason, but he ultimately just wasn't into it. Eventually he started layering more, but not with jackets, just shirts. It added more to his torso, hiding his chest pretty well, but it also just looked better to him than the jackets.
Morro's style isn't exactly punk or emo, but it's definitely alternative. He sticks with the blacks and greens, and sometimes throws some silver in there for fun, but he tends to wear his hair down or in the messiest bun imagineable. He's not big on accessories, but he has a few bracelets from Jay and Kai, and a necklace from Nya.

Tbh, sometimes you're way too hardpressed on intradiagetic explanations in opm that you don't much factor in extradiagetic explanations.
Murata puts emphasis on detail yes, but I'm pretty sure there are just instances where he draws something doesn't have a deeper explanation behind. Like, idk, maybe Murata just got better at drawing leather, not bc Saitama got gifted better boots by Genos to replace his "plastic" ones. Tatsumaki doesn't wear pants isn't bc she's stupid, it's bc Murata is kind of a pervert.
Or like how Fubuki's boobs got bigger over the course of the manga, what, you're gonna tell us she got a boob job in between? :/
True, all analyses devolve into absurdity when followed too far. However, I hope I can justify my approach in this specific instance beyond 'it's fun', which is a sufficient answer to all things fannish.
First of all, it is true that a lot of the changes in the characters' appearances derives from Murata making stylistic changes. In particular, when he started drawing One-Punch Man, he was very keen to break out of the expressions and visual shorthands he'd developed during Eyeshield 21 (see volume 1 of One-Bukoru for more on that). It would seem that in time, he's developed an OPM visual shorthand that still leaves him scope to present the characters semi-realistically when the story demands it.
Let us stay outside the story a little while longer. It would make no sense to consider an intradiegetic explanation for Saitama's clothing in the webcomic. ONE draws clothes on his characters because they normally need some sort of clothing -- once he gets a look for them, that's it. Except where the choice of clothing is plot-relevant (like Teru choosing a terrible t-shirt for Mob), 'clothes were provided' is all that one need to say about it. Murata is very different in this regard. Outside of his art, he has a lot of interest in clothes: for example, he regularly promotes his uncle's kimono store on his Twitter. He spends considerable time referencing outfits for characters (and it's a fun sport for fans to find -- and price up -- those references). He spends a lot of time agonizing what a chracer's outfit says about them. See, for example, this titbit from his 11 June 2018 stream on King's clothing. His awareness of how clothing is an expression of a character's personality and the social signalling it provides has made it explicitly into the text, where Saitama asks Genos if his clothes make him look poor.
Therefore, let us get the first thing straight: the state and type of clothing has meaning within the context of the OPM manga, much more so than it does in the webcomic.
Tumblr media
Let us consider the second party in this. Within the manga, it is canonical that Genos is well dressed -- and has been becoming more fashionable with time. Conflict between himself and the shoddily-dressed Saitama would seem likely. Let us consider what we see, therefore.
It is canonical that Genos cleans and repairs Saitama's clothing, including his precious hero uniform. He even goes so far as to have it professionally tended to on occasion (complete with dismay when Saitama gives it away...). He is very invested in Saitama looking his best.
Tumblr media
Building on this, Saitama's cheaply-sourced outfits are disliked by Genos. When Saitama asked about looking poor, Genos changed the subject as he wasn't comfortable with telling Saitama bluntly that yes, he does look *that* poor. Genos being unhappy with Saitama's appearance extends to that hero uniform, which Genos has offered to replace as a gift (see 'Road to Hero').
So, we have in place, without an ounce of speculation, a man who dresses cheaply and badly. We have his closest associate, his disciple, being well dressed and distressed on occasion at his master's appearance. It is also well established that his disciple actively tries to improve things for said man.
Given that Genos's care extends to repairing Saitama's clothing, it is not unreasonable to impute that at least some of the improved fit and appearance of Saitama's wardrobe in the story is due to Genos's efforts.
Tumblr media
Onto the other side of Saitama fitting his clothes better: food. It is established both within the text and supplemenatary to the text (ONE's interview in the Hero Encyclopedia) that Saitama had difficulty on consistently affording enough to eat before he met Genos. At times, he was even glad for food handouts from grateful people.
Since Genos's arrival, Saitama eats three good meals a day (eating three times a day is non-optional according to Saitama, what is optional is how much to eat: a banana will do if there is no other food available), both because Genos cooks and because pro-hero employment has meant a steady paycheck. It is not plausible that two months of eating well after being undernourished should have no effect whatsoever on how he bulks out.
Notwithstanding changes in Murata's art, it is unreasonable to presume that all the changes in Saitama's appearance can only be due to the art changes. I agree that one should not be overly speculative in one's analyses, but where there is good grounding for inferences, failing to make them is poor reading (1).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then and now
If you're looking for extradiegetic readings of OPM, I can't recommend better than the Youtuber keatsta https://www.youtube.com/@keatsta2928/videos A long time fan of One-Punch Man, he's unfortunately not been reading the manga since chapter 165, but is still reviewing the webcomic. He's always got something interesting and insightful to say.
As I hope you're able to tell, I do consider the context and authorial intent in deciding how heavily to lean into an intradiegetic reading. Extradiegetic readings often carry the air of objectivity, but that is not necessarily justifiable or even the point. I'll give an example from my own life. Back when I was a snarky teenager, I attended one of my grandfather's art exhibitions. At the reception, I happened to overhear an art critic explaining to someone the signficance of of my grandfather's use of yellows in a painting. I thought (but thankfully did not say) 'how silly -- Grandpa just happened to have a lot of yellow paints to use up at the time.' I knew this to be so because I'd been around at the time he'd painted that picture. My grandfather has been gone for getting on a decade now, and I have no idea where the painting is hanging but I hope that its bold, yet nuanced use of yellows is stil speaking powerfully to someone.
Aside
(1) The inference that Genos has had a hand in improving Saitama's appearance would be 100% uncontroversial if he were a woman and Saitama's girlfriend. It is a deliberately jarring element of One-Punch Man that Genos has the concern for Saitama's appearance and well-being more normally reserved for romantic partners. Without necessarily being romantic.
Like I was saying, beware false objectivity. It often conceals a bias.

Here's Siren with her children ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's a gray shirt it's not sheer fabric despite how it looks-
Tumblr media
Oki so first up the adoptive mother Siren!
Siren a immortal with dwarfism, she's mentally and physically in her 30's. She used to run her poison shop in the countryside before settling in Megalopolis upon its foundation days. Her shop continued being for poison and it also a semi baking shop in the modern times. She has a snake attached to the back of her head who she calls Helen. She loves her kids deeply. She's has a hypnotic singing voice. Is unpredictable when drunk. She loves adding poison to her meals for "flavor". She also loves carrot cake, so she does bake a lot. (Doesn't add poison to her baking unless her sons asked her to) Her height is 4'3
Up next the oldest kid Heng!
Heng, a monkey demon that's somewhere in his 2,000s but is mentally and physically 20. He's been around with his ma since he was a little baby. He's the more serious one out his siblings, but doesn't mind helping with whatever silly things they're up to. He's honestly more of country monkey than city, but he doesn't mind it. He is not one to give up so easy, he's immune to most poisons, quite clear with his emotions, isn't one to just stand there to let others come at him with their negative emotions, often standing his ground. He likes playing the wooden flute and performs tricks with light, forming them into sparkles. An inch shorter than his sister. He's 5'5.
Next is Jun!
Jun, a human 25 years old, got adopted when he was 7, works at his ma poison shop. He has a good immune system against poison, adding poison to his meals sometimes. (Despite being told to stop by his sister, of course he doesn't listen) He always has antidotes on hand in case he needs it, or if someone else ate his food. Wearing that strange blindfold(?) is a fashion choice. He's the tallest out of the family, being 6'0. He likes races, but his favorite being chicken racing. Has a liking for cheese tea and often is out late just chatting with anyone who doesn't mind talking with him. He's protective of his family. He's also a bit of a drama queen.
The last and youngest, Viviana!
Viviana, 18 years old. Adopted when she was 10. Also works at her ma's poison shop/semi bakery, cause well- fascination with poison seems to run in the family. She doesn't do poison in her meals like her brothers do, cause one why do that. And 2, she likes having her meal the way it is. She realizes she was in the wrong body when she was 15 and started her transition after telling her ma and brothers, which they happyily helped with. She likes how pretty the poisons can look in their containers. She has a sketchbook just filled with paint splatters cause she likes how it looks and how the colors blend together. She has a girlfriend named Huo Ai (belongs to @/auggiestuff_ on Instagram) who she adores so much.
And that's it! ✨

Hi Val, it's the 10th anniversary of Peaky Blinders and I'm wondering what you think are the top 10 fashion moments?
Oh wow - Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention, and asking my opinion (why I cannot know because I am anything but a fashion icon haha) but thank you anyways!
Peaky Blinders is such an interesting show to view from a fashion standpoint, as despite its MANY missteps, there is so much it and to the story, from S1 Tommy adding his collar to his shirt, to opera gloves and diamonds. I'll try my best to answer, though
Number 10 - Lizzie's orange dress
This dress just screams to be, we're in the 1930s now. Given the cultural fascination with the 1920s, and the devastation of the 1940s with the war, the 1930s seem like an era that, depending on the story is either an extension of the 1920s in aesthetic and fashion or already a prelude with 1940s fashion and style. This dress just screams 1930s to be, which is an incredibly nice touch for a show that sometimes plays fast and loose with the evolution of fashion
Number 9 - Polly's portrait gown
Unlike May's "1920s red dress her mother wore to her presentation to Queen Victoria" (NOT) and Grace's 1940s green suit and 2010s hair this fit the rough time period it was in and was a contrast to the 'current' fashions. Polly's evolution with the dress, from insecurity, to confidence, to heartbreak was such an interesting plot device and she simply looks fabulous.
Number 8 - Esme at the Foundation gala
We've seen all women go through some sort of fashion transformation, even if it is simply due to their financial means, but Esme in S3, despite the money the family has, still seems most true to her style, despite Tommy's attempts to be polished and new. It speaks to her strength of character.
Number 7 - Ada's wedding dress
The visual contrast of the greyish houses, street and sky, and Ada running through it in her white dress and veil was not just so pretty, but her carelessness was so endearing. She didn't care if she got the dress dirty at all, plus she looked absolutely lovely.
Number 6 - May's Trousers
With most women enjoying and trying out extravagant fashion, she is such a palate cleanser when she is in her riding gear
Number 5 - May's hat, cloak and confidence
Compared to other Peaky women, May's colourscheme is often more subdued, with more browns, greys and blacks, but she looks fabulous every time she is on screen with the effortless confidence no money can by, and probably the kind that is very hard to learn. She is a scene stealer in each and every one of them.
Number 4 - Grace's peacock dress
Grace profits from being the favourite. New money Grace has some...interesting choices of fashion, but this one is just a work of art. The greenish-turqoiuse blue is a nice contrast to Annabell Wallis' features and the embroidery is simply stunning. This has a strong case for being the single most stunning costume in the show.
Number 3 - Lizzie overall
I know this isn't technically one single moment, but since Lizzie is one of the characters, if not the character with the greatest arch and development, we see her fashion evolve with it from poverty and severely limited means, to being able to afford more expensive clothes after her employment by Tommy as his secretary and being so proud of them (that Derby dress). From seasons 2-4 her fashion is almost a symbol of how the company moves up. And then in 5-6 she is on top of the financial-economic ladder with near infinite funds.
Number 2 - Tatiana and her Aunt
I loved loved loved the fact that there was a contrast between the choice of gowns between the two women that, despite being in the same social and economical bracket, represent their generations. With the Russian aristocrats, it is a greater choice as fashion was near non-existant during the war and it ended with the traumatic loss of their social status. While her aunt still clings to those norms and ideals, and fashions, Tatiana wears more modern, post - Tsarist Russia cuts. Maybe I'm interpreting too much into it, but with there being hardly any notable generational difference between how Polly and how Ada dresses, this was great fun to see
Number 1 - the Peaky Blinders Effect
Look, I'm no fashionista but this show has certainly had an incredible effect on mens' clothing fashion and a devastating effect on men's haircuts. Thank you so much for sending this in, Lee! What do you think? What are your favourite moments?

May or may not have been inspired to create the KNPS Toa in Hero Forge. Probably also gonna do the Turaga. I’m def curious as to your thoughts on everyone’s appearances, wanna see how what I have so far compares.
I am in TEARS please please please show me when you're done!!!
I've been kind of deliberately vague about their appearances in the fic itself because last time I wrote a big long human!Bionicle fic where I was more specific about their appearances I. wound up hating it later lol. I will say though that my Bionicle Sports Anime designs aren't necessarily what I have in mind when writing! (Those are mostly just for drawing Bionicle fanart without having to draw robots and possible eventual comic reasons.)
I do have some stuff in mind, though! I'm putting it under a readmore because it wound up getting fairly long lol
Tahu: redhead, toned and fairly beefy on account of the MMA but not like dehydrated about it, jeans, t-shirts, and button-downs with the sleeves rolled up kinda guy
Kopaka: my brother thinks he should be albino but I'm on the fence there, either way he does have blue eyes and light hair cut pretty short, glasses, tall and thin
Gali: petite, curly hair usually pulled back from her face, wears a lot of long, flowy clothes (cardigans, skirts, etc.)
Onua: short af, fat, muscular, hairy, I've made Gimli jokes before but I honestly do picture him looking like Senshi DungeonMeshi with less beard, almost exclusively wears black jeans, glasses are not prescription but to help with his light sensitivity
Pohatu: tall, runner's build (muscular legs, kind of average weight distribution tbh), thick brown hair that he's been growing out, tends towards muted colours and earth tones
Lewa: fucking beanpole, tall, thin, and gangly, hair is a bird's nest 99% of the time and he has given up trying, wears green almost to the complete exclusion of other colours, loves himself some good cargo pants
Vakama: glasses and tidy beard, greying hair, middling height, wears a lot of old man sweaters/cardigans
Nokama: taller than Matau but shorter than Vakama, hair is going grey but she dyes it, carries herself with grace and poise, it's. I do picture Lucretia Adventurezone a little bit while writing her ngl
Matau: short!!! absolute manlet and either mad about it or chill with it depending on which is funnier in context, wears loud shirts
Onewa: was not a cane user at the start of the story but is one now on account of his bad back, growing his beard out, worst case of resting bitch face you've ever seen, decently tall
Whenua: tallest Turaga, thick glasses, has worn a dress shirt and tie to work every day for the last 20+ years and isn't going to stop now even if his husband makes fun of him for it >:(
Nuju: average height, long fingers, went white by age 35 (claims it's from stress but it just runs in the family, Kualus was also fully white by 35 and Matoro probably will be too), dresses nicely but not a full shirt and tie like some people
Also you didn't mention them but bonus characters bc I've been thinking about them:
Takua: built like Lewa (tall and gangling), dyes his hair blue, fashion choices are "the colours gave me a headache so I bought it immediately"
Jaller: short king, blonde, probably the most athletic kid in the class
Hahli: shorter than Takua but still pretty tall, wears jeans and sturdy clothes, solidly built
Krahka: I mean sometimes she's a fox and sometimes she's got six arms and tits the size of her head, she can look however she wants
Again please please show me when you're done!!!! I would like to see it

3, 30, and 51 for the f/o(s) of your choice!!
hi hi!
i fink i'm gonna answer these for shuji ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა
3. Do they wear the other's clothes?
ok, so, shuji is 6'4 and i'm 4'11, so. yeah obviously i'm stealing his hoodies and t shirts but his pants are probably like the size of my whole body. HOWEVER!! sometimes when I'm getting ready I'll be looking for a pair of earrings and one is missing and then when I see him later he's got it on. bc he's a menace.
30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other's outfits; what is each wearing?
i'm simple and nothing is better to me than when a hot man is wearing a big thick hoodie with a chain. gold chain to match his glasses, baggy cargos (his lanky ass looks cute in big clothes!), and black high top converse ^.^ AND I LOVE WHEN HIS HAIR IS DOWN!! i just love comfortcore on men, so cute.
shuji canonically doesn't care much abt fashion, so I think it's a relief to him that most of my clothes are basics, and black, so everything matches lol. he does love seeing my tattoos, so i think for that reason he would put me in a cropped black tank top and low rise bottoms. he likes when we subtly match, so baggy black cargos and high top vans, since i don't own converse. and the look isn't complete without a gold necklace with his initial on it <3
51. What's a non verbal way they say I love you?
shuji's a damn blabbermouth so I think when he shuts up for a few minutes to listen to me ramble, that's a pretty big indicator of his love. the reverse of that is him opening up without realizing it while he's just trying to tell a story; he accidentally slips in some self reflection and i'm like HA!! vulnerability! i do also think he's the type to listen to me complain about what I'm craving and bring me home sweets whenever he's at the gas station getting his cig restock.
iiii am doing this constantly because i'm not a big talker. making him coffee, cooking for him, baking him goodies, giving kisses in passing, maybe some affectionate biting lol, and leaving little notes or drawings in his wallet/around the house.

Redacted Asmr Fashion Headcanons!
Both Ash and Gavin view developing a personal style as a matter of self-care (I'm totally not projecting right now) but in very different ways. Ash is a thrift store GOD. He knows where to find all the best-stocked stores and he knows all the methods for making sure you do not miss out on a single styling piece that has potential. While Ash stocks up on basics that mix and match fantastically, Gavin is more of a statement pieces kind of fellow. His wardrobe is full of glitter, sequins, thigh-high socks, platform boots, and bright colors. Don’t get me wrong, he DOES have his basics… in the very back of the closet. Only to be used when absolutely necessary. XD His go-to "casual" outfit is a pair of neon pink leggings and a MASSIVE oversized t-shirt that slips off both shoulders and goes down to his knees. Not exactly fashion related, but whatever it my post I can do what I want Gavin is and absolute chapstick and lipgloss ADDICT. He has a specific, almost-clear, peachy pink-tinged, all natural (yes he is THAT bitch) not-tested-on-animals lipgloss that he wears virtually every day. He puts chapstick on every night before bed and has an entire bin of all his different flavors, colors, etc of chapstick. He would 100% wear a choker with a bell on it and clip on cat ears solely for the purpose of flustering someone and/or creeping them out. Two piercings in each earlobe, generally just wears hoops or little rings if he’s feeling more boring.
Asher isn't quite as out there as Gavin, but he also thinks that if anybody is going to judge him for his fashion choices they can just fuck right off. He loves layering— vests, halters, overalls, biker jackets, belts, corset tops and micro mini skirts over pants when he's feeling more adventurous, leg warmers, body chains and fingerless gloves are his Thing. He takes inspiration from a LOOOT of different aesthetics and it really just depends on his mood— alt, cottagecore, goblincore, 80s, light academia, romantic academia, aaaaalllll that good stuff. His favorite casual outfits would consist of smol t-shirts that say something about him (band t-shirt, show merch, etc) paired with baggy jeans, maybe with some patches or rips. Asher. Adores. Jewelry. You KNOW this man owns fifty thousand rings!!! He’s always wearing at LEAST two rings. He often wears those little netting black chokers and owns like three different pop tab necklaces, at least one of which is homemade. Speaking of, he’ll often make his own stuff! He can’t sew, but he’ll hack the sleeves off of a jacket or crop some jeans into shorts no hesitation, and is always painting designs on plain t-shirts and making jewelry out of discarded trash or unwanted beads. He and Milo went to get their ears pierced together when they were both teens. They both like studs the most, but while Milo generally sticks to round black or small silver studs, occasionally mixing it up with some tiny gold or silver rings, Ash has a whole collection of funky studs. Hello Kitties, pokéballs, little fried eggs, lemons, little puppy footprints, moons in all phases, stars, all manner of fruit, tiny sushi’s, tiny pizza slices, metallic strawberries, fuckin mermaids, nothing is too wacky for this man. Baabe gets him a new pair every chance they get.
Milo likes fashion but feels like the community is too competitive and unwelcoming to really get into it. He’ll often tag along to Asher and Baabe's thrift store trips, but he generally just ends up getting… ANOTHER denim or leather jacket. Yeah, this man owns a LOT of denim and leather jackets. He also has a massive, ever-growing collection of enamel pins with which to abuse said jackets. He owns a trench coat solely because it makes him look more intimidating on jobs, according to him. Milo CAN sew, and will embroider little embellishments on the cuffs of his jeans and the collars of his shirts 🥰. He does it to calm himself sometimes, and what it ends up being often completely depends on his mood and what media he’s consumed recently. He has jeans with spiders on the hem, with little howling wolves, with times trees, with bats, with daisies, with paw prints, with stars, even ones with little hearts. It annoys the shit out of him when Asher asks him to modify his clothes "I'm not ya personal tailor, Ash!!" but he’ll do it anyway, with enough weedling. His favorite casual outfit is just an old college tee, a Melanie Martinez shirt, or a Shaw Security shirt paired with a comfy old worn-out pair of jeans that he embroidered LITERALLY all over with whatever he was thinking of at the time.
David really doesn’t care about "fashion" per se, but he likes to feel put together. He generally wears polo shirts and nice jeans on a casual day, a button up and nice slacks on a more formal day, and will add a tie or even a blazer on the most formal of events. The only time Angel approves of his fashion is when he wears flannels with the sleeves rolled up in the fall and winter. 😏
WOW THAT WAS LONG so if anybody wants a part two with the rest of the D.A.M.N boys, Vincent, Sam, Camilopardalis, and maybe William, please let me know!

How do you wish Fabio styled his outfits
hi anon! sorry for the delay 😅 I really love this question! I'd like to start by saying that he has a lot of nice outfits that I liked, not everything is bad & that he's a professional athlete, not a model/stylist/fashion influencer. he has fun with his clothes, which is the most important thing ☺️
that being said, when I said he's not styling his clothes, especially his summer outfits, it's because he often wears them like they are displayed and isn't really adding anything. for example, I love when he's wearing jewelry, it makes it more interesting. he sometimes makes some questionable associations and bought questionable pieces of clothing 😅 (and did fashion crimes but that's hiw you learn)
his main issues for me are proportions (especially for summer outfits and shorts because I'm a Fabio-looking-fluffy-in-oversized-hoodies absolute lover, I could do an entire post) and his lack of 'global vision': he doesn't wear them to look 'stylish' but not to be totally naked — which is more than valid! also, sometimes the pieces by themselves are nice but they don't work together because the colors/fabrics/vibes don't match.
so to go next level, there are a few things he could do:
his issue with proportion is obvious on these outfits:
-> for the first 2 (not really his fault, it's on D&G): this is exactly how they were on the website, the shirts are either too short or too long and way too big and oversized, making them shapeless.
-> the shorts are too oversized, the shoes are a bit out of place + the fabric really doesn't help
-> for the one on the right, the t-shirt is fine and would look good with jeans, but these shorts aren't it, they should be smaller (tighter and shorter too imo)
Tumblr media
I used by beloved boon.vivant_ on instagram as illustration, check his account he's amazing
these are styled outfits with shorts and good proportions and fabrics:
Tumblr media
shorts (no matter the length or if they're wide or not) are fun to style as long as you use proportions:
-> hips length for the shirt/jacket is the longest it should be or like on the 4th one, longer shirt/jacket over small shorts.
-> the right shoes because they're part of the look. on these 4 outfits, they bring something: reinforce the vibe he created and/or color
-> socks, they are really important because they're the link between the short and shoes. [you can check Zhou Guanyu's outfit for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix last year, funny socks made the outfit so much better]
-> the bags and accessories add something too, it makes the outfit look complete. each time, the bag choice fits the vibe. this is why I love Fabio's jewelry, it always make everything look nicer.
-> and the choice of colors is really important, they need to work together. on the 3rd one, the collar detail and its color are super important. some outfits with flash colors can look really good, but in general, it's better to turn it down a little with neutrals because it makes the flash color pop even more.
these outfits have a vibe, a global vision, this is what I think would elevate his outfits.
the shirts can also be worn in so many fun and different ways and make it really interesting because you go beyond the designer's choice to sell his clothes:
Tumblr media
(I used Eric McNeal's work on my love Lewis Hamilton as reference)
-> only mid buttons closed and an open collar (perfect to display jewelry) and it's flowing on the hips - it's useful to not have a line between the top and bottom, makes it look more 'blended'
-> only the first one closed, full belly on display, it's a fun way to wear a basic shirt (or here jacket)
-> it's a jacket as well but I find it really clever, to not have a basic button jacket, he closed only one and made it asymmetrical, it creates a nice shape and makes it really interesting
-> or just opening more buttons on a shirt than usual (one issue with his oversized shirts is that they look really 'big' so opening more buttons or tucking it would look better I think)
my issue with his matching set is that worn that way, it's usually monotonous. many things can be done to make it more interesting (and wearing it more than once)
Tumblr media
-> using different fabrics (here maybe cotton/synthetic fabric for the turtleneck with leather shorts), the black really make the orange pop, love the bag too and the half tucked in turtleneck makes the outfit work
-> using mismatched set [Lewis Hamilton last year]
-> from a printed set, using only the shirt (or shorts) here I love that it's tucked inside a tailored white trousers (would work with tailored shorts too or with more Fabio coded shorts). the accessories are on point too, I love the oversized pearl necklace (here the short is white, but it can work with a lot of pastels colors, complementary to the shirt/shorts colors)
-> or using the printed shirt as an over shirt
another issue on the first 2 outfits: the fabrics and shapes
Tumblr media
-> the trousers/track pants don't work with the first 2 sweaters. the 2 sweaters are nice but it looks weird with the track pants because the shape (tight on the ankles) and fabrics don't match (it's some kind of shinny synthetic fabric with a fleece hoodie for the first one 🤔)
-> round collars can be a little bit tricky because they're sometimes a bit boring. for the first one (on the left), it would look better with a shirt underneath for example with jeans and putting the hem of the jumper over the hem of the jeans to make it more baggy/loose (this is also true for his second one)
-> in my opinion, the elasticated hem works here for Jules Koundé because the shapes and fabric match
I like these outfits:
Tumblr media
(from top left to right and again bottom left to right)
-> this set works because the fabric is nice, the pattern too and the shapes are nicely done: it's not too oversized and shapeless
-> the next three oversized ones work nicely because the hoodie and pants match - the colors on the last one work as well as the elasticated hem here + it's appropriate for a day on track
-> the 2 stripped hoodies are basic but it works - the one on the left more oversized and the other, I like the halft tucked in sweater
-> we can't see the shoes for the full denim one, but it works
Tumblr media
-> he did a good job styling this shirt, this bag is dreamy and the trousers seem to match it
-> tmi but this brand, Cruel Pancake, was founded by Hugo Philip (actor/influencer and Caroline Receveur's husband). he is also working with Clarisse Castan (Ginger and Limón founder, [communication/celebrity management agency]) as well as Pierre Gasly (also working with Clarisse) who also did an ad for them a few days ago. I'm really curious to see the next 'collaboration' Fabio will do in the future 😊
in a way, I think that his style is "close" to Achraf Hakimi's but he styles his clothes better
Tumblr media
-> especially the choice of the trousers: to me Achraf style them properly so they look nice, Fabio tends to put a lot of patterns together so it ends up being too much. of they have a special pattern or texture, he wears them with basics, so the focus is still on them
-> there are a few brands they both love to wear
-> the printed shirts
and last but not least: I absolutely love his watch collection and his jewels. he really has a good taste for watches
(it was really long I'm sorry 😅 there is a lot more to say but I think that's a good start 😅)

I saw the ask you answered about fashion and essentially being bullied out of it and against it and I just
This is so very true, and I don't know that I ever even realized until I read what you wrote. I always just thought I'd decided to gravitate towards what most consider 'lazy' and 'slouchy' garb because it's comfortable, that I never put in a lot of effort (sometimes even as a teenager and in my early 20s) because I convinced myself none of it mattered. And it doesn't, so long as I'm comfortable in what I wear, I get that, I do. But there are times when I see someone wearing something super cute and I'm like "I want that."
But every time that happens, there's this voice in my head telling me it's pointless. I'd never pull it off so why try? People will look at me weird, judge me for attempting to wear something so completely unlike myself, something that might not completely suit who they've come to view me as. Strangers will critique and pass their own judgement, and that's a terrifying thing. And the answer is always 'yeah, right, exactly that.' And that's so incredibly unfair, especially since I know there are so many people out there with this exact same mentality.
I think how you're raised and what you experience as the world shapes itself around you as you grow plays a huge part in this. If you're told as a child not to wear something because you don't have the body for it, no matter if they're trying to do it out of kindness, it implants something in you that is difficult to ever leave behind. If you're bullied for you clothing choices by peers, it puts a bad taste in your mouth for ever trying again. If you don't look like the models on the runways or the photoshopped celebrities in the magazines, you're failing, don't bother.
Jeans and tshirts and comfortable, less-stylish shoes are a choice, and they are a phenomenal one. But at some point, for some people, it becomes less of a choice and more of something forced into existence through a lifetime of disappointed outlooks and half-muttered rejections. No one should feel like that.
And that's all I'll say on the matter. I know you're busy. You don't have to answer this at all, I promise you don't. I also realize that doing this on anon sort of defeat the point of what you said, and maybe I shouldn't have done it like this, but that's the fear still screaming. So here I am, rambling nonsense in your inbox because it was on my mind.
All the love, Dr Grey. <3
no we are absolutely going to answer this because you're so right.
this right here: "Jeans and tshirts and comfortable, less-stylish shoes are a choice, and they are a phenomenal one. But at some point, for some people, it becomes less of a choice and more of something forced into existence through a lifetime of disappointed outlooks and half-muttered rejections."
yes. (also, do you write fic? i feel like you're a mutual of mine who was nervous and sent it to me on anon??? I PROMISE IM NOT SCARY!)
more babble below the cut
the voice in your head saying "you can't pull something off" or "that wont look good on me" is so real. and its so hard to fight against and ignore and a million other things. and that voice is so directly tied to fashion. and I think that's often why people resort to jeans and t-shirts and sneakers because they're TIMELESS and no one is going to take issue with it! no one is going to tell you X doesn't look good on you or you can't pull X off because its jeans and a t-shirt and nothing matters!
and like, i also have these thoughts. but like...and this is also one of the only pieces of advice I ever have to offer-- do it anyway.
just do it anyway. even if its not perfect. even if you're unsure if you can pull something off (going to leave the "it doesn't look good on me" out of here because fashion isn't about what looks good on a specific body or certain person, its about creativity and expression), or unsure if you'll feel good in it, do it anyway. that's the only way you know.
i recently made an executive decision to only wear suits/tailoring to weddings after years of feeling uncomfortable in jumpsuits and before than dresses. and i went to one in june--had a gorgeous emerald green suit set, black top underneath, ready to go-- and was feeling so uncertain if i was going to be able to pull it off. if the guests were going to judge me for showing up in a suit. if it wasn't going to be enough.
but i did it anyway. and it paid off. because I was comfortable the whole night. i got loads of compliments. and notably a lot of other guests said "oh I could never pull this off, but you can"
BET.
bet.
i get in trouble a lot for saying this IRL, but like...honestly, nothing matters. nothing matters. wear the cute outfit you see on someone else. buy the cute heels and wear them to the grocery store on a Wednesday morning. put on a red lip to drink coffee.
wear trousers instead of a skirt. wear a suit to a wedding. it is so hard to shake the voice in your head. i spent years hearing one that said No One is Ever Going to Take You Seriously if You Dress Like That. and spent years wearing boring ass shit (i wish i still had some of my blouses from then back in the day because my fucking god.) and shit that didn't feel like me.
and like..
idk.
its so much better to Do You.

For the ask meme!!! 💖? and 👗? Pick your favorite to answer or both :)
Went with both of them, Anon, thanks for asking! ^^
Putting the answers under a read more since the images I used in the second question made the post look longer than I planned it to be.
💖 - favorite relationship outside of the Gang?
So when I first read this question I interpreted it as "favorite relationship between a member of the Gang and a non member", but looking at it again I think it's actually supposed to be "favorite relationship between two non-Gang members", so that's what I'll answer. (In case you all were curious though, the relationships I was originally going to talk about were Daphne + Alex Super ["Mamba Wamba and the Voodoo Hoodoo"], Velma + Debbie ["The Weird Winds of Winona"], Shaggy + Tinker [Laff-a-Lympics], and Scrappy with the Gang more generally.)
I'm a big fan of Scrappy with Yabba Doo (and Deputy Dusty) from the Yabba Doo shorts. It's a similar dynamic to the one he has with Scooby and Shaggy, with Scrappy admiring his uncle and the human character trying to keep him out of trouble, but it gets switched up by having Yabba also being a very brave, go-getter sort of character. I thought it was a neat dynamic for Scrappy to bounce off of, someone who is just as direct + impulsive as him but still has life experience that can be used to nurture and guide him. It allows for Scrappy to have a different adult influence and environment in his life while still having the jokes that come with a comedic character trying to control him/deal with the consequences of his actions.
It's my personal preference that if Scrappy doesn't end up staying with Scooby and Shaggy, that he gets to be with Yabba and Dusty and grow up to be a cowboy. It fits his personality well and Yabba and Dusty clearly liked having him around too (even if Dusty got exasperated sometimes).
👗- favorite outfit(s) worn by the Gang?
For this question I'm limiting myself to just on outfits I have screenshots for on this blog, since if I considered everything the characters have ever worn we'd be here all day.
For Fred, I'm going to go with a comic outfit instead of a show one, the swimsuit he wore in the comic "Mystery in Malibu". (Technically I didn't screenshot this particular outfit but I've posted panels from this comic so I'll count it.) I just think it's interesting that they chose to give him swim briefs instead of swim trunks.
Tumblr media
For Velma, I'm going with the pajamas she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot". I think the detail of her wearing something in her hair - I think they're hair rollers specifically - was a neat choice for the creators to make. The little hint of pink is nice, too, switching up her colors slightly.
Tumblr media
Staying with "The Ghost of Bigfoot", I've mentioned a couple times before that I'm a big fan of Daphne's pajamas in this episode too. I just think the nightgown is super cute. I like the frills at the top and I think using the light pink was a good color choice; it brings emphasis to a color that's part of her outfit but isn't her main one, and I think a softer color like that works well with this style of nightgown. (I personally refer to as a "baby doll" nightgown, idk what the offical name is). The matching slippers were a good choice too, very in-character.
Tumblr media
I also have a couple honorable mentions for Daphne outfits, as she is a fashionable gal. First is the winter outfit she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot" (I've heard some people don't like it but personally I appreciate her cute hat and dedication to matching clothes) and the second is her swimwear from the aforementioned "Mystery in Malibu" comic, since it's that light pink color I think looks good on her and also she wears a nifty jacket with it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Shaggy and Scooby, I'm fond of their knight + squire outfit from the Laff-a-Lympics episode "Egypt and Sherwood Forest". I like the detail of Shaggy's shirt sticking out of his armor, both because it's part of his whole "loose clothes" look and because it kinda makes it look like he's wearing a skirt. Scooby's squire outfit is just cute to me, with the frilly collar and the way his ears stick out of his hat. (There was also a joke someone posted on one of my screenshots that the "S" on their outfits looked like it was there for their initials, which just makes me like them more.)
Tumblr media
An honorable mention outfit for Shaggy is the winter outfit he wears during the dog sled race in "Canada and Warsaw, Poland”. I like how they switch up his colors a bit by going with red + yellow, and how he got the full winter getup with a fun hat and cozy boots and stuff.

Beyond the Basics: How Can You Style Australian Bamboo Clothing for Any Occasion?
Australian fashion is known for its relaxed yet stylish aesthetic, perfect for the country's laid-back lifestyle and sunny climate.  Australian bamboo clothing furthers this philosophy, offering style, unparalleled comfort, and sustainability.
However, bamboo clothes can sometimes be seen as casual wear. This post dives into the world of Australian bamboo clothing and explores how you can style it for any occasion, from casual outings to dressier events.
The Magic of Bamboo: Comfort Meets Sustainability
Australian bamboo clothing is crafted from the luxuriously soft fibres of the bamboo plant. These fibres are naturally smooth and round, offering a feeling of unparalleled softness against the skin. Compared to traditional cotton, which can sometimes feel slightly rough, bamboo provides a gentle touch that is perfect for sensitive skin.  Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource requiring minimal water and no pesticides.  The production process of bamboo clothing also uses less water and chemicals than cotton, making it a more sustainable choice for the planet.  So, with Australian bamboo clothing, you can feel good about your comfort and environmental impact.
From Casual Chic to Work Ready: Everyday Versatility
The beauty of Australian bamboo clothing lies in its versatility. Here are some ways to style it for everyday wear:
Casual Chic: Pair a relaxed-fit bamboo tee with denim shorts and sandals for a laid-back summer look. Elevate the outfit with a statement necklace or a pair of statement earrings.
Comfy and Cool: Opt for a flowy bamboo maxi dress on a hot day for a breezy and comfortable outfit. Accessorize with a straw hat and sunglasses for a touch of summer style.
Work Ready: Choose a classic v-neck bamboo top or a tailored bamboo shirt and pair it with tailored bamboo pants or a skirt. Add a blazer and heels for a professional and polished look. Australian bamboo clothing often comes in neutral colours like black, navy, and beige, making them perfect for creating work-appropriate outfits.
Night Out Style: Bamboo with a Touch of Elegance
While some might associate bamboo clothing with casual wear, it can also be versatile for dressier occasions.  Here's how to style Australian bamboo clothing for a night out:
Elevated Comfort: Elevate your bamboo jumpsuit with a statement belt and heels. Throw on a leather jacket for an added touch of edge. Australian bamboo clothing comes in various styles, including jumpsuits, which can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
Sophisticated Softness: Opt for a flowy bamboo midi dress in a vibrant colour or a bold print. Pair it with strappy sandals and delicate jewellery for a touch of elegance.

Layering Up: Bamboo Clothing for Cooler Climates
Australian bamboo clothing isn't just for sunny days. The natural breathability of bamboo fibres makes it a good choice for layering in cooler climates. Here are some ideas:
Cozy Comfort: Layer a bamboo t-shirt under a bamboo cardigan or a light sweater for a comfortable and stylish fall look.
Effortless Cool: Throw a bamboo kimono over a tank top and jeans for a relaxed and layered look.
Winter Warmth: Layer a bamboo t-shirt under a wool sweater and pair it with bamboo leggings for warmth and comfort during the winter.
