Thanks for requesting :)
cw: minor assault, fictional confirmation that most guys are douchebags
Spencer Reid x bau!reader ♡ 926 words
“Right,” JJ says, “so Henry had actually been trying to say ‘fork,’ but of course everyone heard ‘fuck.’”
You double over, laughter bubbling to the surface even easier than usual with the help of the couple of drinks you’ve had. Garcia has far surpassed you, tears leaking from her eyes as Morgan all but holds her upright.
“And Will’s mom was…” JJ shakes her head with a smile, taking a sip of her drink. “Well, she was pretty upset. She accused Will of using that language around Henry, because she said he’s always had a potty mouth.”
“Will?” Garcia cackles. “Our sweet southern beaux? There’s no way.”
“I don’t know,” Emily muses. “I can see it. But he wouldn’t do it around Henry, for sure.”
“Actually,” Spencer pipes up, “studies show that many children pick up swear words regardless of their parents’ usage. Even if they don’t know what they mean, most have a vocabulary of thirty to forty offensive words by the time they start school.”
The humor drains from JJ’s face. “Like, kindergarten?”
“Sometimes earlier,” Spencer says, before seeming to realize JJ finds these facts more alarming than fascinating. “I’m sure Henry will have a higher vocabulary than that by the time he gets to that age, though.” he adds hastily. “Probably won’t even need to resort to swear words.” You grin at him, laying your head on his shoulder consolingly. You might not have done it if you were completely sober, but right now it feels like the most natural thing in the world, and Spencer only tenses for a second before relaxing.
It’s Garcia who notices first, stiffening and straightening in her seat, but Hotch is the one to ask, “Can we help you?”
“I think so,” drawls a voice from behind you. “You can give me your friend’s number.”
You turn, finding yourself too close to the man standing with his hand presumptuously on the back of your chair and grinning like your agreement is a done deal.
“Thanks,” you say, not unkindly, “but I’m not looking for anything.”
The man tilts his head as if to say come on. “But don’t you just love when you find it anyways?”
“I’m here with my friends.”
“And I’m not asking you to leave them.” He moves his hand to your shoulder, undeterred when you lean away. “Just give me your number, and next time you can be here with me.”
“She said she’s not interested.” Emily’s voice is hard. If this guy weren’t so unpleasant, you’d be impressed that he’s still here, with your whole team staring daggers at him.
The douchebag only smiles. “She didn’t say that, though. Did you, sweetheart?”
Your blood runs hot at his disregard of Emily. A man like this, you know—the assertive, overly masculine type—can be dangerous to piss off. But so can you. “I’m not," you say, finally letting the disgust you’ve been holding back seep into your voice. “Leave us alone.”
Anger sparks in the man’s eyes, just like you knew it would. You don’t expect your gaze looks much different. His grip on your shoulder tightens as he gets in your face, close enough for you to smell the alcohol on his breath. “I know you don’t mean that.”
You tense, ready to shake him off you and drag him back to whatever musty corner of the bar he’d come from, but Spencer beats you to it.
“Okay, that’s enough,” he says, prying the fingers from your shoulder. You stand, a protective instinct moving you in front of Spencer, but he pushes past you, badge outheld. “FBI. Do you really wanna pursue this? Because if so, I’ll have no problem cuffing you and explaining it to the local police.”
The guy makes like he’s going to dart for you again, but Spencer steps in his way, pushing him back with a hand on his shoulder. His voice is quiet but clear. “Do not touch her.”
“Fuck off,” the guy shakes Spencer’s hand off, stalking away. He’s drunker than you thought, wobbling his way back to the bar.
“Spence,” you say, taking his hand as though mere contact with the man’s shoulder could hurt it. “You didn’t have to do that, I could have handled it.”
“You shouldn’t have to,” he replies, pulling back the collar of your shirt distractedly. His fingers skim over tender skin, and you look down to find your shoulder is red where the man had gripped it. It’ll probably be a bruise tomorrow. Spencer’s eyes darken. “I can still arrest him. That’s assault.”
“It’s fine.” You move your shirt back into place, pulling him back to your seats. “I’m fine, really. Sorry about the scene, guys.”
“You’ve got nothing to apologize for,” Hotch says severely, still eyeing the man from across the room.
Morgan lets out a low whistle, relaxing back into his seat. “Way to go, wonder boy. Got a little jealous there, did we?”
Spencer lets out a little laugh, though it sounds more strained than usual. “I just did what all of us wanted to do.”
“Agreed,” Emily says gruffly, toasting with her beer. “I thought I was going to have to go all the way around the table to kick that guy’s ass.”
You laugh. “I appreciate the support, but I can take care of myself, you know.” You adjust your collar self-consciously, and as soon as you drop your hand back to your lap, Spencer’s taking it in his under the table.
“Yeah,” he says casually, thumb stroking soothingly at your wrist. “We know.”

Psychic paper
tenth doctor x GN!reader
Summary: In which the psychic paper betrays the Doctor
A/N: The Doctor is fruity, deal with it xx
Tumblr media
You’d been traveling with the Doctor for a while now and you loved every minute of it. In that time he had shown you all kinds of things you had priorly deemed impossible; aliens with wiggly tentacles, a spaceship that defies the laws of 3 dimensional space, a buzzing device he calls the Sonic Screwdriver, and homicidal salt shakers with toilet plungers for arms to name just a few.
It seemed that with every adventure he showed you something new and fascinating, constantly topping himself without even trying. There was so much in all of time and space it wasn’t that hard. Anything outside of the 21st century was new to you.
This time, the Doctor had taken you to see a mechanics factory in the 35th century, but as always the adventure didn’t end there. Aside from new experiences, the Doctor could almost always promise some kind of trouble. He claimed he didn’t go searching for it but rather that it tended to follow him. Either way, most adventures with the Doctor involved some kind of mischief and usually a lot of running.
“It’s no good, you can only get in with an ID,” you groaned, popping your head back around the corner. “There’s a security guard checking everyone going in and out is an employee.”
You were hiding in a hallway, hoping to get inside the establishment's headquarters. The Doctor had a hunch that malicious alien forces were behind the operation, but he couldn’t be sure without poking around further. Typical Doctor, he just couldn’t leave well enough alone.
“I can’t think of any legal ways to get in there,” you shrugged, turning to the Doctor for ideas.
“I have identification,” the Doctor smirked, rummaging around in the seemingly endless pockets of his coat.
“You’re not an employee,” you pointed out.
The Doctor made a triumphant sound as he pulled what appeared to be a small black notebook out of the depths of his pocket. He flipped it open and you realized it wasn’t a notepad. The item was more like a police badge, minus the actual badge part.
He turned the paper towards you with a smile, clearly expecting you to be impressed
“Aren’t I?” He grinned brightly, looking at you eagerly. “Psychic paper,” he explained, tapping the stark white paper with his finger.
You grabbed the item from him, squinting at it. You wanted to make sure you were reading it right, maybe your eyes were acting up.
“This just says ‘I love you’?” You asked, handing the Doctor his weird paper back with a frown.
“I think that flirting with the security guard is more of a Jack move,” you winced, not wanting to hurt his feelings. The Doctor was quite the charmer, but strategic flirting wasn’t his strong suit.
The Doctor grabbed his psychic paper from you, frowning at it aggressively. It wasn’t supposed to say that.
“What-?” he asked, glaring at it the same way you did. Once the words registered with him he turned a dark shade of red. He should have been more careful when he handed it over to you.
“It’s not supposed to say that,” he mumbled his thoughts, trying to hide his fluster.
“How does it work? Is it like a reusable notepad?” You asked, genuinely interested. Even if the Doctor’s tools could be finicky, they were interesting. Maybe he had just forgotten to erase the message from the last time he used it.
“No, it’s supposed to show the reader what I want them to see,” he blushed, shaking the paper out like a Polaroid. Usually shaking the item would clear it, but those three words refused to fade from the paper.
“Sometimes it’s a bit slow…” he said, really more to himself than to you. He was still shaking the paper, desperately trying to get the words to disappear.
“So you were going to try and flirt with the security guard?” You frowned, now you were even more confused. The Doctor would much rather blow the whole place up than try and flirt his way through security.
“No!” He said, almost a bit too quickly. He blushed again and averted his gaze, an anxious hand coming up to rub the back of his neck. He hadn’t planned on telling you like this. He hadn’t planned on telling you at all.
“When I handed it over it was supposed to show you an employee ID,” he winced. You nodded, this much you knew. What you didn’t understand was the confession of love.
“But I think the psychic paper picked up on my feelings instead,” he whispered. If you hadn’t been listening intently you might have missed the last few words.
“Are you saying that you love me?” You frowned, looking at the floor with concentration, “or the security guard?” The second option seemed more viable at the moment.
For the first time in a century, the Doctor was speechless. He stared at you, wide-eyed and unblinking as you waited for his answer. If it was possible, his jaw might have fallen to the floor.
“He’s pretty handsome, I can’t blame you,” you added, peeking over the wall to look at the security guard again.
The Doctor shook himself out of it, rambling a string of incoherent words. “I- uh, wha-?” He stumbled, trying to form a sentence.
“I handed the paper to you.” He said definitively.
“It’s a really dramatic way to come out, Doctor.” You continued on, ignoring him. It’s not like you didn’t know already, he wasn’t exactly subtle about it.
“It didn’t say ‘I love men’!” He threw his hands up in distress. “It said ‘I love you’!”
You finally stopped rambling on about the security guard and turned your attention to the Doctor. His words caught up to you and tentatively you pointed at yourself as if there was any other you. The Doctor nodded exasperatedly as if to say “Yes, you!”
“You love me?” you asked, still pointing at yourself.
“I think I’ve said it about four times now.”
“You?” You pointed at the Doctor, “Love me?”
“Blimey! Yes!” He shouted, frustrated now. You widened your eyes and anxiously checked around you, scared he might have given away your location. Thankfully, everyone appeared to be out of earshot.
“Yes, I love you,” he whispered this time, his eyes boring into yours. You blinked slowly, your brain still refusing to process his confession.
You smiled brightly, your grin taking over your entire face. The Doctor loved it when you lit up like this, your happiness radiating off of you. He felt a small smile of his own tugging at his lips just looking at you.
“I hope that’s alright,” he whispered quietly. He would never forgive himself if he lost you over a psychic paper mishap. The embarrassment would be too much - he’d have to run away. Maybe to that planet inhabited by only rubber ducks?
“That’s more than alright,” you grinned, a hand instinctively reaching up to his arm to comfort him. The fabric of his coat was cold against your palm, but you didn’t pull away.
The Doctor really smiled back at you now, the wild lopsided grin that was reserved just for you. The kind of smile that always made you laugh with joy.
He wasted no time wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting your body off the ground in excitement. He buried his face in the crook of your neck, breathing in your familiar scent. You laughed happily, waving your feet about slightly.
The Doctor pulled back just enough to kiss you, his lips soft and gentle against yours. Neither of you could stop smiling, even as your lips met. You laughed against him, planting kisses across his face sloppily. Your lips brushed the tip of his nose, the arch of his cheekbone, the corner of his mouth, and his jawline.
“The security guard is pretty cute though,” the Doctor teased with a sly smile.
“I knew it!” You burst out laughing, throwing your head back as you did.

FNAF Movie / / Vanessa x F!Reader
[Not Your Fault Part 2]
Tumblr media
Vanessa still couldn't believe you took the stab for her... She does something unthinkable after learning about your fate. Content: Angst, Hurt, Vanessa embracing her Afton bloodline Warnings: Dead Body, Implied Blood WC: 1,340
part 1
Tumblr media
Vanessa couldn't remember how long she had been sitting in this chair, with her head in her hands. Her fingers were coated in her dried up tears, new ones still flowing as time went on. Her heart had been beating rapidly for the past hour now, her mind was muddled unsure of what to do next.
Sitting in this hospital room was torture, she had been given space to be with you alone.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," she whispered with a choked sob.
Of course you had succumbed to your wounds, the flatline still rang loud inside of Vanessa's head - she was at least thankful she was there for you when you passed. You had slipped unconscious back at the pizzeria a few days ago and hadn't woken up since, the blonde had prayed you would so she could tell you how she felt.
Mike was here a couple hours before you slipped away, Vanessa had shot him a quick message to let him know. The apologies he offered flooded through quickly, he had asked if Vanessa wanted him there for but comfort but she flat out refused. He didn't push further and left her alone, he went to sit in his kitchen and mourn in his own way. He saw you as a close friend after all, he'd be lying if he didn't have some sort of crush on you.
Vanessa's throat was dry after the sheer amount of sobs and tears that had left her, she felt the dehydration set in a while ago but her body refused to move.
She would never forgive her father for what he had done. For years he had gotten away with the monstrous things he had done, her own fear stopped her from speaking up. That's why she became a cop, to protect others and save others... hopefully to make up for the crimes she had been helping her father hide.
Sometimes she hated having Afton blood flowing through her veins.
Her thoughts drifted towards her father's fate, the one he truly deserved. Those poor children trapped within the animatronics forever. But at least they got their revenge, trapping William Afton with them for all eternity. She was sure they would torture his soul, they may be kids but they weren't afraid to take him down and make him pay for what he had done.
Trapped in that suit forever. Vanessa couldn't help but laugh.
Trapped in that suit forever.
Trapped in that suit forever.
She finally snapped her head up to look at you lying in the hospital bed. A fresh wave of tears formed in her eyes as she stood up and moved towards the door. She glanced back at you before reaching into her back pocket, her fingers finally landed on her police badge that she carried with her at all times.
She brought it up to her face and ran her fingers along it. Too many thoughts were in her head right now, she didn't know which one to listen to.
The power of her status as a cop was about to help her out. She decided to follow her heart, instead of a brain. That my have been a bad idea on her part, though.
Tumblr media
The long black bag was placed on the hard floor. Vanessa was running on pure adrenaline as she moved further into the storage room.
She had used her police status to convince to hospital staff that your body was needed for a criminal investigation. Was it highly illegal? Yes. Did she care? Not really.
Getting the body bag into her cop car had been a struggle at first, but she had finally made it back to the pizzeria within the next couple of hours. The place was pretty much destroyed on the inside, the outside still remained intact. She was extremely worried about running into her father again, but she was willing to risk it. For you.
Her eyes landed on the thing she had been looking for, a sinister smile crept onto her face as she moved closer.
She dragged the huge item back towards the body bag on the other side of the storage room.
"I'll help you, Y/N," Vanessa promised, "I can put you back together."
It was a suit. An animatronic suit. A dark purple and black rabbit suit.
Unzipping the bag caused her fingers to shake, she was not prepared to see you again in such a cold state. But she had to push through, she had to do this. She had to.
She successfully separated the pieces of the animatronic suit, her hands flinched away from you briefly before she took a deep breath and decided to just get it over with. She couldn't waste anymore time, she didn't know how much she had left.
Your legs were stuffed into the animatronic first, then Vanessa placed the body part on top of you - making sure your arms were secured properly. Some of the springlocks inside the suit had been set off, causing even more damage to your body. Vanessa tried her hardest to not let the view affect her.
She licked her dry lips before leaning forward to kiss you on the forehead. A tear slipped down her cheek at the feeling of your cool skin.
"You'll be okay, Y/N. We'll be okay."
Then she finally placed rabbit mask over your head.
She stood up and looked down at her work. The purple animatronic lay motionless on the floor, sitting up against the wall. Vanessa tried to control her breathing as she waited.
"Come on... Come on..." she pleaded. Her mind was telling her this was so wrong, but her heart would not listen.
She waited for a couple minutes. She looked down in defeat, ready to scream about how this was so unfair. But that's when she saw it. She saw a single finger of the suit twitch ever so slightly.
A gasp escaped her as she stepped closer, "Y/N?"
The dark hollow eyes of the animatronic soon came to life, a singular white dot in each glowing bright.
The fact that it had worked was a complete shock to her.
A slight twinge of fear flowed throughout her as she continued to watch the rabbit move on the floor, each twitch becoming more noticeable...
You wiggled your fingers, not really grasping what was going on right now. You started to panic, wanting to shout out... But your voice refused to work. You looked around as best you could before deciding to rise to your feet.
"Y/N..." Vanessa.
You turned to see the blonde, who was much shorter than you remember? You soon realised that in fact you were the one who was much taller than usual.
"Is... Is that really you?" she said, her voice shaking, "Come on, give me a sign."
This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening.
You reached forward to grab Vanessa, wanting to demand what she had done. WHY HAD SHE DONE THIS?
But nothing. No voice.
All the blonde did in response to you grabbing her was pull you into a hug as best she could, her small arms wrapped around the large animatronic suit.
"I told you we'd be okay. I'm so happy you're here, Y/N. We'll figure this out together."
You wanted to cry, wanted to scream, wanted to ask why.
Your(?) arms started to move instinctively and pulled the woman tighter into the hug.
Vanessa couldn't help but cry, the happiest of tears flowing down her cheeks at the miracle she had created.
Sometimes she loved having Afton blood flowing through her veins.
If only Vanessa could hear how you were screaming inside your own head. Surely a peaceful death was much better than spending an eternity trapped in a suit.

Smoke Eater - Part 18
Tumblr media
Pairing: Firefighter!Dean Winchester x F. Reader
Summary: Dean Winchester is the cocky, but well-respected Lieutenant at Firehouse 25. He leads by example, but he’s also known to break a few hearts. He’s starting to crave something he’s never had, though. Something stable. Something real.
That’s when he meets you, on a truly terrible day, trapped in a rickety old elevator.
🔥 Series Masterlist
Word Count: 4,000 Tags/Warnings: Angst, fluff, brief mentions of the events of Part 13, some ADA Sam, Detective John, and a cliffhanger…
Tumblr media
Part 18: “V for Vendetta”
After that first rocky month, Dean started to improve physically, and so did you emotionally, as he tried his best to let you help him when he needed it.
In turn, you did your best to gauge his moods; when he truly did need help, and when it was best for you to just be his girlfriend, not his caretaker.
January rolled onwards, and the resulting winter cold snap brought a kind of calm before a storm. Nick Savage still hadn’t been found, but that didn’t mean your worries were over.
Dean knew that this would hang over all of your heads until both Nick and his father were caught and exposed.
Today Dean walked with Sam on his day off, doing a few laps around the neighborhood as part of Dean’s rehab. They knew a police car was stationed nearby, watching them for their safety. It was a bit unnerving, but necessary.
They were walking back into the building when Sam stopped to check the mail. The box for their unit was along the wall in the corridor with several other locked boxes. Sam unlocked theirs and pulled out a rolled-up newspaper, some coupons, and a stray folded note addressed to Dean. Sam’s brows furrowed.
“What’s that, a love note?” Dean asked dryly. He took it from Sam and unfolded the scrap of paper.
20579. Your badge will join your dad’s on the wall.
Both the Fire Department headquarters and the 84th Precinct had a wall to commemorate firefighters and officers who had given their lives in the line of duty. Each of their badges had their own display plaque hung on the respective walls.
In short, the note was a threat.
Sam’s worried frown deepened as he watched Dean’s good mood evaporate. He crumpled up the note and pocket it, before he met his younger brother’s eyes.
“Keep this between us,” he warned. As in, don’t tell you.
Sam shook his head. “Dad needs to know, at least. And you two need to be careful.”
“That goes for you and Eileen too,” Dean replied. He reached for Sam’s shoulder and squeezed. “Don’t matter that you’re an ADA. Azazel goes after cops and their families. He’s gonna be gunning for an opportunity to get to one of us.”
Sam’s lips pressed together, but he acknowledged that with a nod.
They went back upstairs together, where you were dressed casually and gathering up your purse.
“Heading out somewhere?” Dean asked. Sam shot him a glance, which Dean silently answered with a short nod. He looked back at you when you offered him a smile.
“Yep, we need a few things. Milk, eggs, more Twizzlers, apparently,” you quipped, lightly smacking his stomach. Dean quirked a smile.
“Give me a sec. I’ll go with you,” he said.
You made an uncertain sound. “Didn’t you just get back from a walk? You sure you don’t just want to shower up and relax?”
“I’m good,” said Dean. He knew you didn’t like the idea of him overexerting himself, but he didn’t feel comfortable letting you go out alone. He could tell by the look Sam once again threw his way from the kitchen that he didn’t think it was a good idea either.
Dean slid a hand up your arm. “How about this. I’ll stay in the car. I just want some more fresh air.”
You tilted your head at him, but you conceded. He followed you to the door and held it open for you.
“Can I drive?” Dean hedged.
You chuckled. “Don’t push it, Lieutenant.”
Tumblr media
On the way back from the grocery store, you discreetly eyed Dean’s profile. His knee was bouncing as he stared out the window.
Sometimes he checked the rearview mirror of your Camaro. Sometimes he fiddled with the radio or checked his phone.
It was all nervous behavior you took a catalogue of. By the time you pulled back into the parking lot of Dean’s apartment building, he finally seemed to relax a fraction. You parked the car and turned to him.
“Okay, what’s the matter?” you asked.
Dean gave you a curious look, but there was an unmistakable tension in his demeanor.
“What do you mean?”
You tried your question a different way. “What’s got you all on edge?”
He didn’t seem to want to answer at first.
“Dean,” you prodded. “Does it have something to do with why you insisted on coming with me, even though I can see that you’re tired?”
His face tightened, but he reached over for your hand. Your fingers curled around his. Now you were getting worried.
“We’ve got the police watching us here, but anything could happen out there,” Dean said. “Until this blows over, I don’t think you should go out by yourself.”
Until this blows over. You wanted to ask when that would be, but you knew he wouldn’t be able to give you an answer.
“Zachariah called me this morning,” you admitted. “He’s standing in for Nick as CEO. He said I have a job waiting for me when I get off medical leave next week. Everyone’s been working from home since the fire, but we’d be going to a new building the company owns downtown.”
Dean tightened up, just like you knew he would. His eyes closed as his head tilted back against the headrest. He let out a long breath through his nose. You stayed quiet, both waiting for what he might say and preparing for him to get upset.
He surprised you by calmly looking over at you again.
“It’s not a good idea. If Nick’s still alive, it means his dad probably knows you know who he is,” he said. “And not for nothin’. Even with Nick out of there, that place’s probably been built on blood money.”
Both were fair points.
“I know. I’m going to find something else, as soon as you’re better,” you said. Dean shook his head and held your hand tighter.
“Don’t let me be an excuse,” he said. His gaze was firm and direct meeting yours. “I need you to start taking care of yourself too, all right? Please.”
Faced with his earnestness, you couldn’t help but soften. After everything he’d done to save you, to protect you, was it fair of you to keep making him worry?
In the past, you’d felt justified. You couldn’t quit. You needed the money. You could handle it, whatever came next. You would deal with it because you had to.
But maybe this time, you didn’t have to. It wasn’t worth all this.
With that resolve, you let out a breath.
“I’m going to call Zachariah,” you said, “and tell him that I’m working from home, or I quit.”
Dean stared back at you with a measure of surprise.
“I’m not going back,” you said, squeezing his hand. “If he has a problem with that, I’ll use whatever I have left in my savings. Hopefully that’ll be enough until I find a new job.”
After a moment, Dean expelled a breath of relief. He beckoned you over, and carefully as you could over the upholstery, you leaned over and caressed his cheek before you went in for a kiss. He welcomed you, with his hands slipping up your sides and around your back, pressing you into him with a heady warmth.
He paused against your lips after a while. His forehead rested against yours.
“You don’t need to drain your savings. I can help you,” Dean started to say, but you pulled back and held your fingers to his lips.
“You’ve helped me enough. You’re already letting me live with you rent free,” you pointed out. “Let me figure out the rest.”
After a moment, Dean wordlessly agreed. He wanted to argue that you wouldn’t have had to move in with him if not for Azazel putting you in his sights, but at the same time, Dean understood that you’d been providing for yourself for a long time. He respected you for it.
So he just guided you back to him for another slow kiss.

John Winchester owned a condo approximately 20 minutes from his sons’ apartment. It was the home they’d grown up in after the house fire, over thirty years ago.
John had learned a lot since then. In fact, some might say that he’d become a paranoid bastard.
Aside from a professional alarm system, he’d installed hidden cameras inside and out of his home, and at every window. It meant that even when he was asleep, his eyes were never truly closed.
When the intruder took his first steps into John’s bedroom, the man himself was waiting with a gun cocked and loaded. The safety clicking back made a small sound, but in the silence, it might as well have been a gunshot.
The masked man swiftly turned and ducked, throwing a punch. The scuffle that followed was quick and covered by darkness.
The cameras on “Night Mode” picked up every moment.
Tumblr media
And that was how John later showed video evidence of Alastair Rolston breaking into his condo, and subsequently getting his ass handed to him.
Both men had their fair share of bruises, but at the end of the day, Alastair was the one cuffed to a chair in the bowels of the 84th Precinct. He sat beside his court-appointed lawyer.
Meanwhile, Cas watched the scene from behind the one-way glass window of the interrogation room. Rufus Turner, their Lieutenant, was beside him, along with ADA Sam Winchester. He watched the man his father questioned very carefully.
“Well, I think you know what this means, Mr. Rolston,” John drawled.
Alastair’s stance in the chair was relaxed, almost unfazed. He gave the detective a wry smile.
“What’s that, John?” he asked.
“I’ve got you dead to rights on attempted murder of a cop,” said John. “It ain’t a good look, my friend.”
“Don’t answer that,” said the lawyer. Alastair glanced at the man, unimpressed, to say the least.
“No fucking shit,” he replied.
“I’d say you’ve got two options,” John pressed forward. He leaned on the table between him and Alastair.
“Did Azazel…excuse me, Daniel Savage, put you up to this? You can answer that question, or I could just skip to the part where you sit in a cell for 20 to life.”
Alastair’s face gave away nothing but calculation and amusement. John nodded, with a grim smile.
“I’ll bet you set the fire at Savage & Co. Trying to get Nick to look like a victim in all this—the consequence of doing business with the likes of Azazel,” he said. “Better yet, I think you’re his favorite hitman. Clean, precise, no tracks left behind, no traces of evidence. Perfect kills. I’ll bet you consider yourself a goddamn artist.”
Alastair lifted his gaze, and John saw the familiar depths of a killer.
“I don’t like setting fires,” said Alastair.
John was nonplussed. “I’m sure you don’t.”
The other man rolled his shoulders.
“It’s all very…messy, you see. Unpredictable.” A smile graced his lips. “But I know someone who does.”
“He’ll give you his employer,” the lawyer said. “The person who ordered the hit.”
“Which hit?” John arched a brow. “I can’t be the only special one. What about Paul Richardson, Jerry Stillwell, Amanda Waller?”
The lawyer shared a look with his client. Alastair rolled his eyes and leaned over to whisper in his ear. After a moment, the lawyer nodded and met John’s gaze.
“He’ll tell you what you want to know, but only for a blanket deal of immunity.”
John could’ve guessed. Alastair smiled once more and leaned back in his seat.
The detective held up a finger and exited the interrogation room. He met Sam’s gaze, and the latter already knew what his father was thinking.
"Give me a minute," Sam said. He went into the room and tried to negotiate with Alastair and his lawyer, but the man wouldn't accept a plea of 20 to 25 years, even to serve all the murders they could charge him with concurrently. Nor would he accept 15 to 20, or even Sam's best deal: 10 to 12.
Sam exited the room and hid his discouragement. He met his father's waiting gaze.
“We can’t give him immunity,” Sam said. “He’s likely the one who committed Azazel’s hits. Not just for the past six months, but for God knows how long, and how many bodies.”
“At this point, it’s the only way we’re getting a chance at Daniel Savage,” John said. “Not just finding him, but pinning him as the mastermind behind the whole operation. Drug trafficking, arson, murders…the whole thing, Sam.”
Sam didn’t like it. No one did, for that matter, but even Rufus heaved a sigh.
“You can’t move forward without a trigger finger willing to testify,” he said.
“Yeah, because hitmen make notoriously credible witnesses,” Sam retorted.
“Do think he set the fires as well?” Cas asked John. “He seemed to imply that he committed the murders, but not the arson.”
John hummed in contemplation.
“We’ll find out. But first, I want a confirmed name from the horse’s mouth,” he said, shifting his attention to Sam. “Can you get me that, son?”
Sam’s lips pursed.
Within an hour, the paperwork was drawn and the plea deal was arranged. Father and son sat side by side on one side of the interrogation room, while Alastair and his lawyer sat on the other. Alastair finished signing the final document as the cuffs on his wrists jangled.
“All right,” said John. “Tell me what I want to know.”
Alastair smiled and spread his hands as wide as he was able.
“I’m an open book, Johnny. Ask away.”
John leaned forward.
“Let’s start with this,” he said. “Who ordered you to kill me?”
Tumblr media
Nick Savage was unearthed from a luxury apartment in the south of France. He was extradited back the United States and hauled into a courtroom in Lawrence, Kansas for arraignment.
Sam Winchester was the prosecutor on the case. As luck would have it, one of his favorite judges was also assigned for this docket.
“What do we have here?” asked Judge Devereaux. He was a portly man, short and graying, with square black glasses that framed his perpetually surly face. The man now adjusted his glasses so he could read the slip of paper the clerk had just handed to him after reading off the docket.
The charges included four counts of murder in the first degree: the murders-for-hire, enacted by Alastair Rolston.
Followed by attempted murder in the first degree, ten counts of murder in the second degree (those who had lost their lives in the most recent building fire), conspiracy to commit murder, arson, and if that weren’t enough, a charge each of attempted sexual assault and sexual harassment.
When the last two charges were read out loud in the courtroom, Nick looked visibly angry.
Sam glanced over at the defendant with thinly veiled satisfaction. Some days, it was difficult for him to come to work.
Today was not that day.
“All right, that is a laundry list of potential misdeeds,” Judge Deveraux remarked. He looked up at Nick Savage. “How does the defendant plead?”
At the prodding of his lawyer, Amelia Richardson, Nick spoke up.
“Not guilty,” he said. Though he rolled his eyes, as if this was a waste of his time.
“What’s the deal here, Mr. Winchester?” Judge Devereaux asked.
“The primary charge is a murder-for-hire, your Honor,” Sam replied. “Mr. Savage hired a hitman to murder at least five people, and succeeded with four. He also masterminded several arsons. This includes a fire at his own company building, which claimed the lives of ten people and injured several others. This is all part of a larger connection to organized crime, which the People intend to prove in our case. Due to the nature of the charges, and the defendant clearly being a flight risk, we seek his remand to custody without bail.”
The judge raised his brows. He turned to the defendant’s lawyer.
“What about it, Miss Richardson?”
Amelia shot Sam a glance, but she replied to the judge.
“What we have here is a conflict of interest, your Honor,” she said. “Detective John Winchester has a vendetta against my client. Therefore, Mr. Winchester should recuse himself. It’s a family affair, Judge, and they have no evidence for any of these charges, except for the testimony of a confessed murderer.”
“It’s called prosecutorial discretion,” Sam cut in. “Our evidence goes beyond Mr. Rolston’s testimony and will more than support our case. I’ve also tried my father’s cases before, your Honor. This defendant is no different.”
The judge peered closer at the docket with incredulous eyes.
“Except for the fact that one of the attempted murders was on your father. John Winchester?” Judge Devereaux actually chuckled. “Oh, Mr. Savage. Many have tried and failed on that regard.”
“Judge,” Amelia tried, but Devereaux waved her off. Sam took in that small victory without giving anything away outwardly. The fact that John was on the docket as a “victim” was easily Sam’s biggest challenge in this arraignment, but he just couldn’t hand this off to another prosecutor.
“And what’re these last charges about?” the judge asked.
“Mr. Savage attempted to sexually assault one of his employees at a company Christmas party in the defendant’s home, your Honor,” Sam replied. His gaze once again cut over to Nick, who glared back at him with a sneer.
“That’s a goddamn lie!” Nick shouted.
Amelia grabbed his arm and tried to shut him up, but Nick jerked out of her grasp.
“Put a gag on your client or I will, Miss Richardson,” Devereaux warned with a deepening frown.
“Hey,” Amelia hissed a whisper, grabbing the sleeve of Nick’s suit jacket this time. “Get it together and shut your mouth. Remember where you are.”
He ignored her to try and speak to the judge himself.
“That bitch tased me. Did she tell you that?” Nick levied Sam a look, before he turned back to Devereaux. “Yeah, she assaulted me, Judge. So that charge is fucking bogus.”
“I’ve heard quite enough!” Devereaux snapped. He raised his gavel and slammed it down loud enough for Nick to flinch. “The defendant is remanded to custody, without bail.”
Tumblr media
It was more satisfying than John would admit.
While the development wasn’t exactly what he had expected, having Daniel Savage’s son dragged out of his new prison home to sit in another musty holding cell was the highlight of the new year.
This was the poor excuse for a man who’d given him such a headache these past few months. This was the little shit that nearly got his son killed, and who’d been terrorizing you for months, if not years.
But he would be a means to an end.
“I’ll tell ya what, Nick. You don’t look like a man that could organize a handful of murders and arsons, but here we are,” John said.
He scratched the back of his head and sat on the corner of the desk. Sam was seated across from Nick, and Cas was hanging back within the cell, watching the exchange (and watching Nick’s reactions for any tells).
On the other side sat Nick himself, dressed down in his gray prison garb. It was a far cry from the $5,000 suit he wore in the arraignment. Next to him was his lawyer, Amelia Richardson.
“Is there a question in there somewhere?” she asked. She shot Sam a glance.
They had dated in law school for a few months. It had ended abruptly when her husband returned from Afghanistan. It had been a shock to both of them, since the man had been presumed dead.
Clearly, Sam had moved on since then. He was happier with Eileen than he ever was, but he could tell that Amelia had never quite recovered from the “what could’ve been” of their relationship.
Still, Sam had set all that aside the moment he stepped into this room. He watched his father work.
“Why did you set fire to your own building?” John asked.
He’d expected Nick to be more explosive with his denials, but the man was quietly simmering, like he just wanted the questioning to be over. It reminded John of when his sons were teenagers. Maybe he hadn’t been the perfect father, but intuition was telling him something…
“You didn’t do it, did you?” John mused. “At least, not that fire.”
It was interesting, however, that Alastair had pinned the Savage & Co. fire on the son—that Nick had started it himself, along with the other arsons. Alastair had just been the muscle, committing the murders and the brandings on the victims.
John wasn’t so sure he believed that. He leaned in a bit and gave Nick a wry smile.
“Did Daddy do that one for ya?” he asked.
At that, Nick held firm. “My father has nothing to do with this.”
Hmm, a bit of familial loyalty? Maybe trying to prove himself, John detected. How far is he willing to go to protect his dad?
“So you did do it, along with the other arsons,” John said.
“Are you trying to get him to confess without a plea deal?” Amelia snarked.
“I’m trying to figure out how badly this kid wants to stay out of jail for the rest of his life,” John said.
“I’m not a fucking kid,” Nick grumbled.
“If you have something for us on Daniel Savage, then we’re willing to listen,” Sam added. “Do you really want to spend the rest of your life in jail?”
Nick crossed his arms, clearly uncooperative.
Sam narrowed his gaze. “This is your last chance, Nick.”
“You don’t have anything on me except for the word of a murdering felon,” Nick retorted. “I’ll beat this trial in a few months and I’ll be out free…but if you really want to know, I’ll let you in on a little something.”
He leaned in, meeting John’s eyes.
“Dad retaliates,” said Nick. “I think you know that best of all, Detective. This time, I think it’s one son for another. And you’ve got two to pick from.”
“Nick,” Amelia warned, but he ignored her.
He glanced at a carefully stoic Sam before he smirked in John’s face, which had become devoid of all humor and revealed the stoniness underneath.
“If I were a betting guy, I’d put my money on the one that had a fucking building fall on him.”
Tumblr media
After leaving the county jail, John drove Sam and Cas back to his sons’ apartment. They couldn’t treat Nick’s warning as an idle threat.
Sam was the prosecutor on the case. He wasn’t willing to step down, so the best they could do for him was give him a police security detail that would have to be with him at all times. However, all three men agreed that you, Dean, and Eileen needed to be put in protective custody during the trial.
“Damn it, Dean,” Sam muttered. His brother wasn’t answering his cell.
“Try him again,” said John.
“Is Eileen still at work?” Cas asked.
“Yeah, but she’s talking to the principal now about a temporary replacement for her classes,” Sam replied. He was worried about her safety, but he was also worried about you and Dean. Neither of you were answering your cell phones.
He later let John and Cas into his apartment, where all looked normal and clean.
“Dean!” Sam called out. He was just about to search the apartment when the man came out of his room, looking freshly showered.
“Hey, what’s up?” said Dean. “The gang’s all here, huh?”
“I’ve been calling you for an hour. Where’ve you been?” Sam asked in annoyance, though it was edged with a hint of more that tipped off Dean.
He sensed the tension in the room between his brother, his father, and his friend. He frowned.
“I had a doctor’s appointment. Why?”
John explained the latest round of questioning with Nick Savage, and his most recent threat. John asked where you were right now, if not in the apartment. Dean’s expression shifted to one of worry as he went to find his cell phone.
“She had a job interview,” he admitted, scrolling through his phone to find your name. “She couldn’t reschedule it, else she would’ve gone with me.”
He’d been uneasy about you going to the interview by yourself, but you hadn’t wanted him to change his appointment, and you had assured him it was only a few minutes away…
Dean held the phone to his ear and waited what felt like an eternity as it rang.
Pick up. Pick up, damn it.
Finally, the line connected.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he greeted…but you didn’t answer.
“You there?” he asked. There was a pit forming in his stomach when he glanced up at John. His father met his gaze with furrowed brows that betrayed concern.
The line was silent for one more painful moment. Dean opened his mouth to call out to you again, but a smooth voice interrupted.
“Dean, Dean, Dean,” a man replied. “Forgetting something?”
Tumblr media
AN: 🫣 Sorry lol.
But the next chapter will bring the final showdown...
Next Time:
Dean’s heart began to pound. His mouth parted, but for a moment, the words wouldn’t escape.
“Who is this?” he said. His voice was a hint unsteady.
“I think you know, son,” the man replied.

Seventy seconds. That’s all you had until the silent alarm blared at the local police station. But lucky for you, you only need thirty of those seconds to get what you needed. A simple in and out procedure was always how you operated.
In through the front door, dressed to impress. A Bag under your arm and an umbrella in your hand. The umbrella is the key. Literally.
Bank managers always approach you from first entry, wanting to impress someone who looks so lavish; we must keep our high end customers happy. You’re led to the safety deposit room, with the intent of placing your precious jewels into a box.
Until the handle of the umbrella is twisted and a knife is drawn.
The knife held to the manager's throat while he opened every single box he could in the 30 second time span. But you know exactly which boxes to open. You've been surveying this area for weeks now. Camera hacking. One of your specialties. Every customer who entered this room in the last month, you’d seen and known what to take. Totally under wraps; never to be seen until the job needed done.
When the managers think they can overpower a girl like yourself, the gun stashed in your waistband makes its appearance, deftly putting the men in their places.
This was always how you operated. Never the cash; always the safety deposit boxes. Sometimes the items placed inside were of monetary value, but some were of unmatched value; precious family heirlooms that could get ransomed for way more than any cash vault would hold. That’s always what you were after. Sometimes, jewels were involved and that was a plus. A girl can never have too many diamonds. They are your best friends after all. But the ransomed heirlooms, some of kings and queens of the corporate world: that was your MO. You were the Red Queen.
Were.
Tumblr media
Suguru was not something you’d anticipated. Suguru was your biggest flaw. He was now your weakness. But he was also the enemy.
He’d been tracking you for months; been minutes from you so many times. You were his biggest project that he’d never been able to get his hands on. You were a myth at this point. Never actually seen, except by the bank managers who were never able to give a good enough description.
“She had big sunglasses, bright red lipstick and a killer smile.”
He knew that much. That was it.
Until now.
He had you.
You walked out five seconds too late.
He had you.
A hand harshly grips the back of your upper arm, spinning you around. Your fist instinctively reaches up, elbow colliding with the person in question; a cracking sound fills the air as your arm connects with their face. You’d successfully knocked their head back. Killing was never your objective when it came to defending yourself, a body leads to problems. You don’t have time for problems. Suguru’s used to combat though, with gritted teeth he takes the blow. Cracking his neck, his other hand reaches to grasp your other arm, flinging you down onto his car's hood as pedestrians continue on their day. Most stop for the show, but others see the badge hanging from his neck and don’t question anything. Your back comes in contact with the car, your head bouncing off the surface; ears ringing from the loud bang. Your arms are braced in front of you as you feel the handcuffs being placed around your hands.
He had you.
Nobody could ever get you. You were like a ghost in the nighttime; but he found you out. Who was this guy? Why does it kind of turn you on? But it also definitely terrifies you.
“We finally meet,” he grins down at you. “I’m Detective Geto, and you’ve been my biggest foe for almost a year,” You just stare back at him. “But you can call me Suguru.”
You were in the back of his car in minutes. Hands cuffed in front of you while he stared at you in the rearview mirror. Unbeknownst to you until now, he’d lied about catching you. He said you’d gotten away again.
He watched you walk into the bank this time. He was the one who was ahead. He finally had the upper hand.
And he liked it.
“No, sir. She got away again.” you heard him say flatly in the front seat. “Yes, sir, I get that but if–” he stops, pressing his thumb and pointer finger into his eyes. “Sir, if i can just speak for a minute,” you can hear yelling through the speaker, but no words can be made out.
Why isn't he telling him you’re right here? What is going on?
“Sir, I had her. She got away. I’ll get her again.,” he pauses again, “Yes sir, I understand. Thank you, Chief. I got it. I’ll handle it. Thank you.”
He’ll handle what? What is happening?
Suguru’s eyes catch yours in the mirror. “You’ve been eluding me for the longest time, Y/N. Or should I say The Red Queen.”
“Call me Ruby. I don’t use that name anymore,” you mutter. Unsure why you’re even responding. What does he want with you? He lied about you to his boss.
“Ruby,” he swirls the name around his tongue, “Pretty,” and he’s starting the car.
“Where are you taking me?” you question, fingers reaching down to pull one of the bobby pins from your boot. You’re always prepared.
“Even if you free yourself, the doors are locked,” he smirks at you in the mirror. You catch his gaze, offering him a glare. “I’m not a threat to you. Not right now.”
What the hell does that mean?
“You’re literally a cop, and you’re not telling me where you’re taking me.”
“I just want to talk to you before I decide what to do next,” his eyes fixed on the road again. You notice the white in his knuckles from gripping the steering wheel so hard. He’s nervous. You could use that to your advantage. Wherever he was taking you, you were going to use your biggest asset: yourself; to get what you needed.
Your freedom. Your biggest job was coming up soon, and you needed to be prepared.
This cop obviously had an attraction towards you. If only he wasn’t a cop, you could entertain the thought of a relationship if he hadn’t been. But honestly, it would probably hold you back.
“Where are we going? Why did you lie? What’s going on?”
“So many questions, Ruby. Live a little,” he chuckles at you. Was this guy insane? A cop isnt taking the opportunity to turn you in? He’d be decorated for the rest of his life.
“Live a little? Do you hear yourself? You said I’d been eluding you for nearly a year, why arent you taking me in? Don’t you want the accolades? Detective Geto takes down the Red Queen,”
“Thought you didn’t go by that name anymore?” He questions, a smirk on his lips.
“I don’t,” you grumble. “But word obviously hasn’t spread yet,” your eyes roll.
“Besides, I'd rather get to know you first,” he says nonchalantly.
“Are you insane?”
“Maybe. But you are too,” he eyes you, making your face redden like your lipstick.
“You don't know anything about me,” you bite out at him. Who does this guy think he is?
“I do,” he states matter of factly. He states your full name. Your fake secured social security number. The list of aliases you use to book hotels, rental cars whatever you needed. He knew what he needed to know. But after seeing you in person, he needed to know more.
He put two and two together based off your appearance. A long black Chanel coat. Big black sunglasses. Dark red lips. The umbrella.
He just knew it was you. He watched you walk into the bank.
“Count to thirty,” he thinks to himself. He’d studied your tactics. He knew them like the back of his hand.
And waited. You were late. One. Two. Three. This might actually happen for him. Four. He’s sweating. Five. You’re here. You’re right here. If he just reaches out—
And now here he was, you in the back of his car driving you to his safe house.
Where he’d get to know what he wanted—needed—to know.
He would figure out a way to know everything.

There's a song that makes me think of Toji which is "Villain" by Bella Poarch, so that's a bit of inspo for this! Sorry this took a bit to answer!
: ̗̀➛ Warnings: afab reader, not really an established relationship; FWB??? Enemies to lovers??? Idk, very brief mention of oral (m receiving), no protection with backshot, rough sex, doggy style, use of handcuffs, edging, spit as lube, spanking, a lil manhandling, degradation (slut, whore, princess as an insult lol), mean Toji with some sweetness at the end

You always knew just how to push his buttons, and Toji hated you for it. Or at least, he could have hated you for it, if your pussy wasn't so damn addictive.
Toji wouldn't consider himself any particularly special or hardworking kind of cop. He did his job, he earned his paycheck, and went home. Most days, shifts were boring, with giving a ticket being the most exciting thing happening all day. If he was lucky, he got to tackle a thief to the ground. However, the excitement level changed when he met you, and like some kind of twisted fate, he seemed to be running into you more and more lately.
The first time he'd run into you, you were speeding down the street in a classic bright red Mustang, catching his radar in more ways than one. When he'd caught up to you in his car with the lights flashing, shiny badge on his chest and his scariest face on, he expected the usual sob story to try to get out of a ticket, maybe some crocodile tears and honeyed words to butter him up. But the minute you two made eye contact, some electric shock going through your bodies simultaneously, suddenly it didn't matter anymore.
Of course, the way you took his cock down your throat shortly afterwards may have helped, as well.
After that, it was almost comical albeit suspicious, the number of times you two would "meet up" after that. It was as if you knew his schedule and his route, but he wasn't complaining. Of course, his job was on the line, fucking someone that was essentially a perp, and he'd be fucked if anyone caught you two in the act. But with a cunt as sweet as yours, he was happy to take that risk.
Sometimes he'd take you in the back of his police car, or against the wall in an alley, fucking out his frustrations with you and unloading them into your cunt. But today he decided he wanted a little more privacy, taking you back to his apartment for the first time to make sure you would get the full lesson from him.
Now he had you face down and ass up, handcuffs tight around your wrists and connected to his bed frame as his hips slammed into yours. You'd been really pushing his buttons lately, simple things like jaywalking right in front of his car, stealing merchandise in clear view of him, to speeding by in your damned Mustang again. Once or twice, with little things, he was willing to look the other way. But as you kept pushing his buttons, something in him finally snapped, and he was going to teach you not to play with fire— the hard way.
"Fucking filthy little slut," he grunted out, the loud sound of skin slapping against skin filling the air. "Think you can just do whatever you want, huh? Think you can get away with anything?"
Your face was shoved into his pillow, the only thing muffling your moans and cries of pleasure. His words simply drifted over your head, too lost in the pleasure to pay attention anymore. He always filled you up so well, thick cock with an equally thick mushroom head reaching deep inside, and it never failed to draw out noises you'd never made before meeting him. And now in this position, you could feel him bump up against a particularly sensitive spot, leaving your mouth in a constant "O" as he pounded you without mercy.
You could feel your orgasm start to creep up on you, a roaring fire growing in your belly and ready to consume you whole. That rubber band of tension was ready to snap and Toji could tell, too, by the way your pussy was hugging and tightening on his cock, begging for his seed and for release. Unfortunately for you, Toji was still trying to teach you a lesson, and just as he knew that pleasurable wave was going to crash over, he pulled out, making you cry out in distress from the sudden empty feeling.
Your hole clenched around nothing, your whole groin aching for relief and begging for the stimulation to come back. But Toji simply pulled your asscheeks apart to get a better view, a dark chuckle rumbling in his throat as he started at your core unashamedly.
"T-Toji, fuck," you couldn't help but pant out, trying your best to turn your head in his direction.
"What's wrong, princess, angry that you didn't get to cum?" he responded, taunting you. Not that he could say much, either. His dick was aching, wanting to unload in you already. His hands came up to rub around your hips, squeezing you, waiting for your response.
"Of course I am. Just let me cum already, please," you begged, trying to wiggle your hips at him.
Toji hummed, seeming to think about your words. You tried to wait patiently as he did this, feeling one of his hands leave your body, but the loud smack that resounded caught you off guard, followed quickly by a sharp, stinging pain from your asscheek where he'd just spanked you. It drew out a loud cry from your mouth before you could stop it, and Toji just chuckled in response.
"Hmph. I don't think you deserve to cum yet." His hand rubbed over where he spanked, a soothing motion in contradiction with his words. "You've been acting like a little whore around me for weeks now, doing dumb shit to get my attention. Imagine if one of the other officers caught you, I don't think they'd be nearly as.. lenient as I've been. If you wanna cum, you gotta beg a little more first."
His hand came down on your asscheek again, and you tried to stifle your cry, body still jolting in response.
"Please, Toji, I want to cum," you said against the pillow, tugging weakly on your handcuffs. Your core ached for release, and the spanking was only sending tingles straight to your clit, making it all worse.
"I can't hear you, sweetie, what was that?"
Another slap to your ass, this time a little harder for emphasis. Your asscheek stung, and your whole body was hot, pleasure and shame fighting hard against each other. You hated begging, and Toji knew this. But damn your body, it just wanted to get off already. Your shame could wait til later. Swallowing down your reservations, you moved your head to speak more clearly, glancing back over your shoulder for emphasis.
"Please, Toji, make me cum. I promise I'll behave, just please, don't stop this time."
A smug look crossed his face, and he huffed out a laugh.
"That's what I thought."
Toji spread your cheeks again, spitting down on your cunt. The sensation made you shiver as it quickly cooled, but before you could respond, he angled his hips before sliding back into you to the hilt. The depth he reached made you jolt, but Toji's hands were a vice on your hips as he pulled back, nearly popping out before thrusting back in and setting a harsh pace.
The sounds of his thighs slapping against yours filled the air, and his heavy balls matched the motion against your aching clit, drawing out curses from your lips. It wasn't long before that roaring fire was in your belly once more, ready to overtake you, and with the way Toji was rutting desperately against you, you weren't the only one.
The head of his cock started to rub up against a particularly sensitive spot, and combined with the barrage on your clit, it was enough to push you over the edge finally, and your body twitched hard in your lover's grasp.
"Oh fuck—!" You cried out, before moaning loudly, body shaking as your orgasm completely overtook you.
Toji cursed as he felt your cunt clamp down on him, trying to milk him desperately, and it almost worked. He continued thrusting a little longer, drawing out your pleasure to the edge of overstimulation, before having to quickly pull out. Not even a second later, he was cumming across your ass, deep grunts coming from his throat with each throb of his cock. It was copious, dripping down your cheeks and across your cunt.
Your knees trembled from the hard orgasm, struggling to hold yourself up, but thankfully Toji moved up to unlock your handcuffs, helping you settle down on your stomach finally. He used his shirt to quick wipe you down of his fluids before falling back onto the bed beside you, closing his eyes.
Silence filled the air, and as the lust faded away and was replaced by fatigue, the rational part of your brain began to wake up again. You'd never been in his apartment before, and now you weren't sure what to do next. You'd definitely been breaking the law, and while you could fuck your way out of trouble before, you'd also been in easy-to-escape places. But before you could make any sort of plan with your fatigue-addled brain, Toji's muscular arm came around your waist, pulling you in close.
You had a moment of panic, but although he was strong, you could feel the movement was simply cradling you rather than trapping.
"Stop thinking and go to sleep. I won't do anything."
Toji's eyes were still closed, but you could hear the sincerity in his tone. Against your better judgment, something in you said to trust him. And anyway, with the way he'd just fucked your brains out, you weren't sure you could make much of a quick escape right now regardless. Finally settling down beside him in the warmth of his body, that would be something to think about later.
Tumblr media
Wow it's been a minute since I've written Toji smut but I hope you enjoyed! As always, comments and reblogs are appreciated!

Leon Kennedy:
After having cleared the hallways of the Racoon City Police Department and coming face to face with some disgusting freaks of nature named Lickers, Leon thought he had seen it all. Honestly, he didn’t imagine there was anything new that could surprise him in this goddamn place until he made eye contact with you.
Well.. if you can call staring at the dangling eye hanging out of your socket “eye contact”.
He instinctively raised his gun, expecting to see you rise to your feet, stumble over to him and try to nom his neck like all the other undead he’d seen so far- but to his (pleasant) surprise, that didn’t happen. In some odd groan you spit out, which he assumed was your attempt at speech, you backed away from him. Arms raised as if to show you didn’t mean to cause him harm.
It was odd to say at the very least. He kept his aim marked at the dead center of your head, though he hesitated pulling the trigger now. Your right hand (which Leon noted had a nasty looking chunk taken out of it) drifted down to a bloodied ID badge hanging from your breast pocket.
Though it was hard to read, Leon squinted out the words “Assistant Secretary” in bolded letters at the top of your ID.
He looked back up at you, slowly lowering his gun as he noticed the almost.. human-like quality of fear in your eyes. He could’ve sworn he even saw your shoulders sag slightly with relief as he tucked his gun into his holster.
“Hey.. can you.. understand me?” Leon’s words paused at times as he debated internally if he was really trying to communicate with a dead person. He could feel his stomach sink slightly as you slowly nodded back, cautious that he’d still shoot.
“What the hell.. How are you even- no wait- you’re infected and you can still?- What??”
You watched as Leon’s brows furrowed and his expressions cycled through confusion, disbelief, intrigue and right back to absolute bewilderment. It was almost funny and you almost tried to smile at him- before remembering the fact that your jaw had gotten unhinged a while ago and it’d likely confuse the poor guy more.
After a very long and arduous time of trying to explain to the baby-faced police officer how exactly you got bit and how you locked yourself in this room and how even you didn’t know how you kept your humanity- it just ended up in Leon sitting on the floor, scratching his head.
“I really don’t understand what you’re trying to tell me. I’m sorry.” You grumbled out a brief noise of annoyance before just accepting it and sitting on the ground across from him.
There was an awkward silence between the two of you for a while before Leon spoke up.
“Hey look. I know you’re already bit and all but maybe we can find you some help? There’s a hospital in the city- there has to be someone who can fix.. uh.. whatever you’ve got going on here, right?” He even sounded unsure of the words he was saying, yet the caring smile etched onto his nervous features was enough to convince you that you should come with him.
Not particularly like you believed you could be cured, but more as in “This poor kind boy will get killed if someone’s not looking out for him.”
So you gave a polite nod, rummaging through what little supplies you saved in here before heading out of your sanctuary with Leon- glad you’d met someone so nice in this mess.
Claire Redfield:
Despite having been caught in the middle of a zombie outbreak and getting turned yourself, undead life was surprisingly calm. You had shuffled your way down into the sewers after getting bit, accepting your fate as you felt your consciousness slowly slip away as blood drained out of the bite on your leg- only to wake up a few hours later a lot paler and surprisingly awake.
Part of you was frustrated you had somehow miraculously lived through transforming into a zombie because of course you would be the unlucky schmuck who would stay sentient throughout something like that. Only your level of sheer bad luck would allow that.
It turned out being down here wasn’t too bad if you ignored the weird mutated masses of flesh in the water, the massive hulking figure of a presumably mutated man that would scream in agony every hour or so and the other rotting corpses surrounding you. Otherwise, it was nice.
You had honestly thought that you were going to live the rest of your undead life here. It’s not like being on the surface is any better at the moment- though you had to admit, it got boring really quickly.
That’s why when you heard a small repetitive bang of a pistol fire off- you couldn’t help but let your curiosity win. You peaked around a corner, just dark enough so whoever was firing couldn’t see you, to take a glance at whatever unlucky person slipped down here.
She couldn’t have been past her early twenties, you thought, her younger features and nervous look spoke volumes. Her eyes had a certain steely resolve to them though, which would’ve impressed you if she didn’t stare directly at you. Previously fascinating eyes now had your stomach drop as she raised her gun at you preparing to fire.
You scrambled away down the hall you came from, legs slightly slipping from the slimy layer on the floor that you really didn’t want to think about at the moment.
Claire had started giving chase after you, worried you were possibly another survivor that she had scared off with her reckless gun waving.
“H-Hey! Wait up!” She yelled out, following your shadow throughout the gross sewers.
You had run yourself into a dead end- panicking and turning around to see her approaching rapidly. Without a way to defend yourself, you simply put your arms in front of your face to shield it as you shut your eyes tightly- preparing to get shot.
Clacking sounds of boots hitting the wet floor filled your ears as Claire stopped just a few feet away from you. She huffed out in exhaustion, leaned over to catch her breath.
“I’m.. I’m sorry- jeez hold on. About.. About scaring you. I didn’t know there were other survivors down here. You alright?” She looked up at you, briefly scanning over your body.
She noted how you looked worse for wear (but then again, so did she) and the large, infected looking wound on your leg. Her face shifted into one of pity as she looked back up at your face.
“Oh.. Is.. Is that why you ran from me?” You nodded, slowly lowering your arms to gauge her expression. It’s funny, she looked a lot more sweet up close. Your eyes met hers and you almost felt better. She looked at you with such.. compassion, even though you were infected.
Claire felt an immense sense of pity overwhelm her. She must’ve scared the living daylights out of you upon chasing you down like a rabid animal. As her gaze met yours though, she realized how glossy your eyes looked- how pale your skin was. You were probably already dead considering how familiar you looked compared to other zombies she had seen.
“I don’t want to hurt you, okay? You seem like a nice.. person? Zombie? I’m not fully sure what to call you.” Her tone was very soft, almost like a gentle elder sister, it was soothing to hear after all the harsh groans and grumbles you’d been hearing from the other undead around you.
“I think that it’ll be beneficial for us to work together. I have a friend who’s a police officer who I’m trying to meet up with. Maybe we can all find a way to escape together and you could get some help at a hospital out of this town. Is that okay?”
It wasn’t like you really had a reason to say no and the way she kept her voice so polite and calm definitely swayed your choice. With a nervous step forward, you precariously nodded.
“Perfect. My name’s Claire. Claire Redfield. It’s nice to meet you.”
Jill Valentine:
Jill was getting pretty damned tired of this zombie shit. First at Arklay, now in Racoon City the day before she was supposed to move out of this hellhole. It was just starting to get ridiculous and if she still believed in a God, she would’ve thought they had it out for her.
As she turned a hard left, narrowly avoiding a zombie grasping and hobbling towards her- Jill entered the subway company’s office. Thankfully it was empty, Jill thought to herself as she pushed the door leading into the traffic control system’s room only to have the door get pushed right back into her face.
What the fuck??
Jill grabbed her knife from the sheath on her side and rammed the door open- fully expecting to have to fight hand to hand, only to meet your terrified gaze as you fell onto the floor.
She honestly couldn’t tell if you were infected or not- you looked like you’d been drained dry of all your blood, yet your expressions were so human. Hands raised, slightly shaking (Jill wasn’t sure if that was due to fear or the fact your right hand was hanging on by a few tendons of muscle.)
You mumbled out a shrill and raspy yelp, trying to communicate as best you could that somehow you were still conscious, even in this form.
Jill wasn’t exactly sure what to do with you, knuckles tensing and untensing around the handle of her knife. She almost felt guilt thinking about stabbing you now. Her body went taut as she saw you stumble up and head to the subway panel. You waved your hands, pointing back and forth at the subway map and its controls.
“You.. know how to work that?” Jill hesitated with her words, almost embarrassed that she was trying to communicate with.. a zombie as far as she could tell.
Well that was until you nodded very rapidly, as if trying to prove you had some worth.
So with a frustrated sigh, Jill said “Okay, I need to go to Fox Park. Figure it out.”
Jill watched you with interest as you flipped through the switches expertly, going through the path so quickly she had to assume you worked here before.. whatever happened to you. You figured it out so quickly and turned back to her, as if expecting her to allow you to follow her to wherever she was headed.
Part of her really didn’t want to bring back an infected to the subway but you had the biggest eyes and were practically pleading.
“No- you can’t. God just..” Bigger puppy dog eyes.
“NO. You’ll cause too much commotion! I can’t-”
“Hey Jill- you got that subway route finished?”
Your eyes instantly went to the radio buzzing from her shoulder and she made a mental note to punch Carlos when she got back.
“Yes.. Thanks to the help of a.. oddly friendly zombie.”
You could hear him cackle over the other side of the radio. “You’re joking- right?”
“I wish I was.” Jill sighed out and explained to Carlos that she actually met a nice zombie and spent about 10 minutes convincing him and the other U.B.C.S members to let you follow and that she swears she’ll keep an eye on you and please please please please let her keep you-
Mikhail begrudgingly agrees after her arguing that she should be able to keep you around and that you’ve proven yourself to be helpful- but is told that you’ll be staying with Carlos when you both return to not endanger the civilians and to truly prove yourself.
Jill didn’t know why, but she felt the need to protect you. Maybe it was some lingering savior complex or survivor's guilt but she ignored that for now and walked alongside you back to the subway station.
Carlos Oliveira
As Jill arrived with you in tow, Carlos did notice how surprisingly calm and patient you were with everyone. You clung onto Jill for a little while- being careful to not go too far into the train- in the off chance someone would see you and freak out.
While Carlos trusted Jill’s choice in trusting you, most of the other U.B.C.S members were.. not as happy with the platoon leader’s choice in allowing you to stay. Tyrell was very obvious about his lack of faith in your unwillingness to cannibalize them and informally ordered you to stick near Carlos.
Carlos didn’t mind to be honest. Though, it was a little perturbing to see the way your flesh loosely hung on in some places. He tried his best to be polite and not stare as it’d be “ungentlemanly” of him.
You served to be pretty helpful in the RPD, keeping an eye out for anything he might’ve missed (zombies or items.) You even took a few solid hits for him which may have left you a little more gory in some places over before- but Carlos just appreciated the gesture.
“So, tell me, how’d you end up like that?”
“…”
“Oh right. Can’t talk. Sorry.”
A simple nod or shake of your head was enough to satisfy any base questions he had for you– plus his quips about certain events like the locked doors kept the mood light and cheery.
It was honestly a lot of easy communication between you two- Carlos read you very well and normally a simple tug on his arm or small grunt would do the trick if he truly missed something.
Carlos did ask some weird things though-
“Can you like.. see outta the hanging eyeball?”
You didn’t really think about it before but now that you focused on it- you really couldn’t. With an experimental prod, Carlos watched in horror as you pushed it back into its socket to see that’d change anything. It didn’t but it was worth a shot.
He (somewhat disturbed, somewhat politely) asked you never do anything like that in front of him again.
Fair enough.
Chris Redfield
This entire mansion situation was completely overwhelming for Chris- everything was so out of place and nothing made sense. Grappling with the concept of zombies being a real thing, Umbrella Corp actually being tied to this goddamn place somehow and the Bravo Team being completely wiped out along with his other colleagues being God knows where was just getting too much to handle.
Maybe that's why he didn't even take a second glance at you when you rolled a flashlight next to him as he sat on the ground of the grimy hallway.
It took him a second to fully process what just happened- his eyes running over the slimy flesh of your body that looked rotten and gross. You just simply stared back at him, hollow eyes in hollow sockets waiting for a response.
“.. Hello?”
You waved back in response, watching as Chris’ face cringed as your bones cracked and popped from the movement.
“That's new. Most of your friends seem to not be interested in conversation, eh?”
Chris was pretty sure he was losing it- he knew he should be grabbing his gun and getting rid of this thing in front of him before it attacked instead of making conversation. Yet something felt different about this one.
You nodded your head slowly and made trepidatious steps towards Chris. Testing his willingness to let you near- he did move his hand near his knife, which you took as a warning and stepped back.
He looked down at the flashlight you rolled towards his side and palmed it. It was essentially a gift- and you didn't seem to want to harm him.
“Listen. I need help finding my friends. They're somewhere in this mansion. This place is just so confusing to get through- will you help me out?”
You seemed to hesitate for a second, feet lingering in place as if trying to see if it was a trap. Chris almost found it funny, the both of you unsure of the other and still needing help to get out of here in one piece.
You gave a weary nod to him before stepping closer and offering your hand to help him up.
Chris shuddered a little as he felt the bone through your frail, decaying flesh and pulled himself up with your help.
An odd duo you two made, but certainly two is better than one in this situation.

Jay Halstead- Work Husband Pt1
Tumblr media
I walk into the break room to grab myself a coffee. Jay, my partner is already in there making two drinks
"Good morning" I greet him
"Morning" he hands me a cup after he pours the hot water in
"Thanks" I give him a smile
"Your very welcome. Actually I erm wanted to speak to you"
"What's up?" I ask frowning but before Jay can talk to me Adam pops his head in to the break room letting us know that Voight wanted to speak to us. He asks me and Jay to talk to a source to find out some information about our perp.
Jay and I get in the car, me behind the steering wheel. At first it's quiet. Then jay breaks the silence
"I think it's time we can be honest with each other. Wouldn't you agree?" This makes me feel a little nervous, but I try to hide it
"Depends"
"Ok I'm just going to say it"
"Go on then"
"You driving all the time? I'm not down with that"
"Tough. I drive"
"I've been on the job longer" I see Jay now looking at me through my peripheral vision. I glance at him before looking back at the road
"Well I've been in this unit longer"
"Ok honestly? I feel like a house husband" I chuckle at this then put on a straight face and glance at Jay
"I'd say sorry..." I stop the car and take my belt off and now give Jay my full attention "but I was told not to lie. Now let's go" I open up my door and both Jay and I start to walk to the shop when a guy whistles at me
"Shake it baby" I raise a brow at him then shake my head
"Jay" I nod my head towards the shop
"Watch yourself" Jay warns
"Yes sir officer sir" the guy says back to
"Does that ever catch girls attention?"
"Jay it's fine. Leave it" I open up the door to the shop "hi Chicago PD we would like to ask you a few questions" I say showing my badge
"Sure"
"A pay-as-you-go phone was purchased from your store in the last 24 hours" Jay starts as I take out the phone number from my pocket
"We're looking for who bought it"
"Yeah, a Juan Garcia. Yesterday. Paid cash"
"Any other information you can provide us?" I ask
"No, we're not responsible for  background checks"
"True, but it is a fairly common name. You know, there's not a lot we can do with that" I give the store clerk a sweet smile
"You don't tell me how to do my job. I don't tell you how to do yours" the guy hands the number back to me as I continue to smile
"You're Glen Pearson, right? The owner of this place?"
"That's right"
"You know, it looks like there's a Glen Pearson with deceptive practice and fraud charge"
"Huh" I cross my arms looking at Jay
"Yeah for selling stolen merchandise
out of Gary, Indiana" Jay shows me a fake police report made to just scare the guy "That's a 25,000 dollar expeditable must-hold warrant"
"Hmm. What do you think Halstead? Height, weight match. Eye color, too"
"Yeah" he nods his head "hey I've got an idea. Why don't we throw some bracelets on him, we'll take him down to the station, run his prints, and then we can be sure" Jay gives me a little nudge
"I got a nanny cam up here. I can pull some footage. Get a picture of the guy who did it.
It's best I can do"
"Oh that's great" Jay and I both smile "oh and I'll have some gum"
We leave the store after getting a photo. I place a piece of gum in my mouth
"I knew that would work"
"Now we just gotta figure out who this idiot is" I pass the photo over to Jay as the same guy we passed earlier throws a bottle
"Why don't you bring that ass over to place sometime girl. I'll let you in"
"Hey" I say to Jay who looks pissed "it's fine. Let's go" Jay takes off his holster and badge, handing them over to me "ok. Yeah" I nod my head. Jay and the guy have a little tiff earning an eye roll from me "oh my hero" I give Jay his things back "and by the way I'm still driving" I run over to the drivers side of the car before driving us back to the precinct to talk over what we have found out.

Tumblr media
The Aviators were a staple of his look.
They could be anywhere. Dangling off the third or fourth button of his shirt at the bottom of the deep V that began at the collar. Perched on his nose, amber glass masking the intense gaze of intoxicating brown eyes.
They knew more intimately than most, his deepest fears. They had front row seats as he stared down the barrel of guns pointed at him. They knew the fear of seeing a teenage boy at the end of his gun, his hands shaking as the foundations of his morals stained under the pressure of his job.
If you asked them, they’d tell you of everything Javier saw at work, even the memories that he repressed to be able to wear his gun and badge another day. If you asked them, they’d tell you the first time he saw her. It was momentary. Fleeting. Nothing special. The aviators would let you know that his eyes did not linger, contrary to what his pretty pink lips whispered into her ears at night when he buried himself inside her. “Couldn’t take my eyes off of you the first time I saw you, Hermosa…” She’d moan and pull him close and kiss the lips that waxed poetic in between the dirty, dirty words that made her clench around him and pull his hair and arch her neck to let his lips taste her.
The aviators would tell you that they served as cover when he wanted to keep his emotions to himself. Police work did not take away how emotive those brown eyes were. So they sometimes served as blinds on the window to his soul.
She was the sunglasses’ favorite sight. Not because she was extraordinarily beautiful. Their owner would disagree- he would argue that she was extraordinary in every way, including beauty. He would add a couple more adjectives. But the aviators were more objective than the man they belonged to. However, both man and sunglasses could agree that she was their favorite view.
For Javier, it was her beauty- the spark in her eyes, the upward turn of her lips when she spotted him, the sign of desire when she looked him up and down, the way her shirts clung to her breasts, the fabric of her skirts that hugged her ass— you get the gist. For the sunglasses, the joy was in the way his eyes responded to the view.
First it was just curiosity. Pretty woman, sat by herself at the same restaurant where he sometimes had breakfast. Hard not to notice that she was a regular, one who sat at the exact same table and ate the same breakfast everyday.
Then it was desire. Nothing out of the normal for the man, the aviators would tell you. They’d seen desire on his side plenty when he saw women through them. The glasses were an accomplice to the way his eyes would gallivant over beautiful bodies. They sat close as his mind evaluated just how much he would love to have other parts of his body enjoy what his eyes had spotted.
As the relationship progressed, the aviators found themself in the mix a lot. Their owner found himself visiting her more often than other women. The pair was sometimes pressed against the chests of the couple as they drank from each other’s lips. Her hand sometimes took them off its place tucked in his shirt and set them on her bedside table.
The sunglasses would be the first to tell you when everything changed between Javier and the woman. At least on Javier’s part. Eyes that roamed the surroundings frantically to look for danger in every room acted uncharacteristically around her. They’d stop on her, take her in. Just when the glasses thought that their owner’s eyes had had enough, they’d find him continuing to stare. They were glad the man had her to look at. Something nice. Someone that made him happy.
She got closer to him than anyone else. And he let her.
The aviators weren’t a perfect barrier. If one stepped closer, stood heart to heart with the man, emotive brown eyes would reveal the depths of the soul.
She saw it through the sunglasses’ amber barrier. He allowed her the spot in front of his chest from where she could see it. She seemed to like what she saw, staying in the spot he gave her though he was afraid, though his mind told him to step back before she saw too much— before he liked what he saw more than he should. The aviators could tell you that he was long past that point.
There was no stopping now.
It was because of her that the aviators knew there was a world beyond sicarios, sex workers, and bosses cross at Javier for his transgressions.
There were dates in grassy parks, picking her up from university, and accompanying her to markets where she bought vegetables that Javier loaded in his jeep. The aviators were unaware of the existence of vegetables before that. They would be quite annoyed if you mocked them for this lapse in knowledge. To be fair to the object, Javier’s diet was strictly limited to whiskey and cigarettes.
The aviators were loyal. Javier only.
But they didn’t mind when she playfully snatched them off Javier’s face and placed them on her own. She played at his seriousness, looked through them in a mockery of his stern police-like gaze and let some expletives slip off her tongue in an imitation of him. It pleased the sunglasses that this woman who was so close to him believed them to be such an essential part of him that she used them to mimic him.
They got a glimpse into her soul then, could see that she had no malicious intent in snatching them off the rightful owner. It was not theft.
The twinkle in his eyes when she did that told the glasses that he enjoyed it. Other belongings found themselves on his women quite a lot. Especially his colorful shirts. They told stories of the beautiful women who’d wear them for a period after they’d been discarded on the floor in favor of access to the chest they covered up. The aviators didn’t have any such stories.
Until her.
The aviators would tell the shirts that they’d met her eyes, seen into her soul, seen that she liked him just as much as he liked her. The shirts in turn shared that he liked seeing her wear them after they found pleasure in each other’s bodies. It was different with her, the shirts would say. He liked her wearing them— the shirts — not just because he liked evidence of beautiful bodies in his belongings. No, he liked his woman wearing his shirts.
He lent them to her sometimes. When she squirted under the bright sun, he’d pluck them off his own face and offer them for her to wear. She’d smile and accept them, taking it as a gesture that he cared.
The sunglasses knew before the man himself that he’d fallen in love. Closest to the windows to his soul and all. His shirts would argue that they knew even before the sunglasses— they felt his heart beat faster when she came into contact with him. The sunglasses would argue that they knew better than the shirts— shirts changed everyday, but sunglasses didn’t.
They had the full picture if you will.
Ironically, the full picture was forgotten when it came to her. He had eyes only for her when she was around, the background blending together and fading away. Nothing else was important. They stared before only because of her physicality, but now they stared to learn and memorize every inch of her. They delighted in every micro expression, every smile and every frown, every which way she responded to him.
If you asked the aviators, they’d tell you proudly of being there when Javier’s eyes found a sparkling diamond ring in a jewelry store display. He took them off to admire it, to see its natural twinkle without the amber barrier. He didn’t buy it.
It was after all the biggest, shiniest rock that made it to the display of the store.
Not something one could afford on a government salary. Nothing you’d find on a humble professor’s finger. But, it put the thought in his head. Marriage. It frightened him, but not because of the commitment. No, it was fear that no sparkly bit of carbon would make her agree to a lifetime with his ass. He didn’t feel it with the last woman, Lorraine.
They blended in with her things soon. Next to her hair clip, her novel, both their wristwatches, and her earrings that he removed and set aside carefully when they made love. Just as his pants and shirts acquainted themselves with her dresses— on their bedroom floor, their laundry hamper, their dresser drawers.
Amber glasses would acquire scratches over the years. Javier would leave it forgotten in a drawer somewhere in his new home with his wife. Another pair of aviators, shiny and unscratched, would sit on the bridge of his beautiful nose. But if you asked them, they’d tell you of their clear vision though the scratches and from the dark depths of the drawer. They’d tell you that he still looked at her with the same adoration despite the years.
They’d find themselves roughhoused in small hands that like to play pretend. They'd sit on a nose, smaller yet similar to Javier’s as little lips that definitely belonged to her tried to talk like Papa. She’d laugh and tell him that their little one sounded exactly like him. He’d roll his eyes but enjoy the peaceful bubble he’d managed to forge with her.
The new aviators stayed shiny for not having seen the horrors, for having only the sight of his happy wife and growing family. But the OG, they’d proudly tell you that they shined despite the horrors of his old DEA job because they were there when it all began.

Ken flirts (albeit not very successfully) with a officer gn!Reader
Tumblr media
Gif by jokerous
A/n: I want to say in advance that if I don't respond to your replies, it's only because this is my side blog and I still haven't figured out how to make it the main blog ;( and English is still my second language so be sure to let me know about my mistakes!
Summary: Ken shows up at the police station again, but this time he has a much more complicated reason for being there;
Song I recommended: Santa Monica by Everclear (although it's not really suitable for fanfic, the song and lyrics were just made for Ken);
Word count: 1,107 words;
Hope you like it!
You've interrogated all sorts of weirdos during your long career as a police investigator. But such a case was certainly the first of its kind. And probably the only one. In front of you sat a not at all embarrassed man in the uniform of a horse rider, that is, in a ridiculous oval hat, a black suit, only horse was. What was the main problem. After all, walking in such clothes in public places and even without a horse is not to everyone's liking. In addition, if it is stolen. Although most of the townspeople have already managed to get used to it since this same man and his companion appeared here for the first time. However, this case was different, as today he came alone. That's why they didn't let him home right away, but sent you to deal with it.
"So Mr. Ken…" You looked at the man who wasn't the least bit concerned about being in the police station, not knowing what you were going to do with him.
"Oh yeah, it's me."
"Um, why did you steal that suit?" You mentally slapped yourself on the forehead for asking such a stupid and obvious question. It's like asking a criminal why he committed a crime... Damn.
Ken was smiling brightly, only making you despair even more. "You see, I just don't have anything to pay yet… But I'll pay it all back very soon! Yes…" But you wouldn't tell that from his unsure and guilty face.
"I'm sorry, mister, but in our town promises aren't enough." For some reason it was difficult for you to say this. Maybe you just couldn't resist the person's naive sincerity in front of you.
"Okay, I'll give you one last warning in hopes that I won't find you in a stolen suit in the middle of a police station again, okay?" Ken shook his head.
"Well, officer, I promise, it won't happen again!"
"Eh, I hope so…"
To tell the truth, this was not the first such "last" warning, but... But sometimes it is worth making exceptions to the rules and protocols for the sake of a good cause.
"Um, officer?" You were about to walk out of the interrogation room and just pretend you didn't see the criminal leaving the police station without punishment. But Ken stopped you with his strangely needy look. "Actually, I just wanted to meet you again."
You were once again surprised by the frankness of this man. And ignorance.
"You could just walk in here, you don't have to commit a robbery."
"Oh."
For a moment you stared into each other's eyes in inexplicable silence until you remembered in time that Ken was a little out of this world. But you didn't know yet whether in a physical or mental sense.
Ken's expression lost its former fervor for a moment, causing you to feel a sharp pang of guilt. So you decided to somehow cheer him up.
"Anyway, I'm very flattered that you went through such troubles for me." You pointed out Ken's appearance, and he immediately melted with pride. "Good job."
You chuckled amicably, but immediately after that you suddenly remembered that you were still wearing your police badge and had some responsibilities, so you improved to add:
"But anyway, don't do that again!"
"Haha, not going to anymore, don't worry officer."
And silence reigned again, although this time it was filled with your mutual smiles. Incredible, but even criminals can be cute.
Ken began to glare at you, to which you could only respond with confusion. This careful look confused you a little, so you decided to find out the reason for it directly.
"Is something wrong Ken?" Ken squinted and something in his sly expression seemed to warn you of danger...
"You are beautiful."
You blinked, slightly not expecting such an answer to the question about feelings.
"Um, thanks… You're in good shape too." Ken assumed a very strange pose that you could describe as flirtatious if he wasn't the weird stranger. After all, how could he flirt with you? It seemed as if the roles of the policeman and the culprit were somehow unfairly reversed between you...
Ken folded his arms on the table, looking at you with all possible attention. Because of which you imperceptibly shuddered. A very strange feeling welled up as you stared into those crystal blue eyes in return. And Ken's smile might seem innocent and naive, but as an experienced police officer you couldn't afford to be fooled by that…
Your palms also rested safely on the table, and the undisguised slyness with which Ken was looking at them could not be ignored... After that, Ken lightly touched his soft fingers to yours, as if by accident, but you could definitely tell from his satisfied face that this was exactly what he intended. But you have not removed your hands in any way. Even if these touches did not seem only friendly.
Ken's whole look (minus the costume ) was like... Head over heels in love? You tried to drive away these insolent thoughts, but the affectionate look fixed on you as if he was completely devoted only to you, the barely noticeable movements of his fingers on your palms and the atmosphere of privacy created by him did not give you peace. And when did everything get so fast?
"You know, I've always wanted to try on an officer's uniform, although I'm pretty sure it looks better on you."
Well, even if it was a sincere and deliberate flirtation, it was so incredibly unfussy and simple that it couldn't help but be touching. If everyone in Ken's world is so nice and unassuming, then this place is clearly Heaven.
"Hmm, thanks again and… And I'm also pretty sure that the uniform will fit you."
You didn't know what Ken was playing, but you decided to keep up with him. It seems that a real battle was brewing here...
"Are you busy tonight?"
It confused you a little. Somehow unexpectedly, too sharply and in general, such purely friendly invitations are not made with such a flirtatious tone!..
"No. Not at all. Do you want to meet?..."
But your tongue had already given away all your innermost thoughts before you had time to really think them through.
Ken looked as if he had already expected a refusal, but when he heard the unequivocal agreement... Well, sparks flew from him. Literally. However, you were sure that this only seemed to you.
"So, at the beach today?"
"I will wait for you!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your relationship with Bi Han is a lot more complicated that it would be with Kung Lao or Raiden. He'd often times only visit you at night, and he'd only stay for a few hours.
It all started when you were walking home. Alone, in the dark, not a good match for a young woman. This was proven correct by you almost getting hurt in an accident, but luckily Bi Han was there to save you.
You begged and pleaded with him to tell you someway you could make it up to him. If it wasn't for him, you'd be dead! You thought you owed him your life.
After a few minutes of your back and forth, you saying he deserved something while he said he didn't need anything, you settled on taking him out for coffee.
You guys sat at that cafe for nearly 3 hours just talking. Talking about everything you guys could think of. At the end of the night, which only ended because the cafe was closing, he walked you home.
You didn't think much of it, you'd known each other on a first name basis by now and he just wanted to be nice.
Or at least, that's what you thought. He would show up every night after that, the exact same time, the exact same way, asking the exact same thing. "Would you like to join me for coffee?" Those words would ring in your head in the morning, he just kept coming back, asking the same thing over and over.
You didn't mind it, but at the same time, you found it odd. This man you knew for only 3 hours would come to your house every night, take you out for coffee, pay for everything, take you back home, and wouldn't talk to you again till the next night. Something about him was off, very off, but you didn't know what.
It's not that you didn't feel safe around him, you did, but there was something he wasn't telling you. You knew he wanted to, he just couldn't.
One night, he told you he was a private investigator, even going as far as to show you his official badge. You wanted to know more about it, considering most of the time he'd just ask about you and not talk about himself much.
He went on to say that he'd usually investigate disappearances, murder cases, and even paranormal activity sometimes. Bi Han continued by saying he'd often take care of the source of the crime before the police got to it, somehow always finding out inside information.
You were completely intrigued. You wanted to see him in action, but he said that would be too dangerous for you. He gave you his business card and walked you back home, telling you to swing by his headquarters tomorrow morning and he'll tell you everything you need to know about him.
He said it in such a serious way it sent chills down your spine. This was an offer you couldn't miss. You got up early just to be there on the time you agreed on, walking into I nearly organized office area.
Oddly enough, however, all of the blinds on the windows were completely closed. You thought this was extremely odd, wondering why, but before you could go too deep into thought, you could see Bi Han in the corner of your eye.
"Care for some coffee?" He says with a playful smirk as he points to the full coffee pot on his end table.
He had given you a small tour before taking you to the lower part of the building. "This is where I live, train, sleep, shower, everything. Call it a basement, I call it home."
To be fair, it was a finished basement, completed with rug and hardwood floors and even a spruce ceiling, at least he has taste.
He showed you around even more and ended the tour at his bedroom. "This is my bedroom. I like to keep it simple, but the bed is comfortable, I swear. It's memory foam."
He smiles at you before taking you to the small couch in his living room. He sat you down, and turned to you with a very serious look on his face.
"Y/n, there's something I've been keeping from you. Something I need to tell you. We've known each other for a while now," it's true. You guys have been seeing each other for coffee for the past 4 weeks. This is the very first time you've ever seen him in the day time, odd considering he'd never missed a day of taking you out.
"I know this is gonna sound insane, and I have proof, but I need you to trust me." He let out a deep sigh before continuing, "I'm a vampire."
You just looked at him, in complete disbelief. Not for the reasons you should be, though. You were wondering if he was joking or not.
"Are you being serious? Do you genuinely expect me to believe that?" You said as you chuckle into your hand a bit. He face only grew more serious as he took your hand and led you upstairs, going to the side of one of the windows before opening the blinds and letting you see as his hand began to sizzle. He let out a small gasp of pain as he pulled away, hand now smoking because of the heat.
You were in shock. You still didn't completely believe him, however. "Maybe you just have a skin condition, that doesn't mean anything."
You didn't want to believe the man that you had been talking to for so long was a FUCKING VAMPIRE. it was hard to come to terms with really.
He walked over to you slowly, holding up his hand as the smoldering wound miraculously healed in seconds.
He grabbed your hands, taking them in his as he makes eye contact with you. His gaze softens as he can see the uncertainty in your eyes.
He opens his mouth slowly, showing his retractable fangs. That's it. You were convinced. You gasped as he let go of you, letting you have your space.
"I know this might be a lot to take in, but I hope this doesn't change anything between us. I still care about you."
You genuinely don't know how to feel, conflicted by someone you thought you could trust. How did he go so long without telling you about this? It honestly hurt you to know that he was keeping this from you.
"I think we should have some time off from each other. I need a bit to process this, it's a lot to take in all at once." He could hear fear in your voice, and it broke his heart knowing he was the cause of it.
He nodded his head, watching as you left the building. He leaned back on his desk, wondering what he could've done better, wondering what he could've done to make you feel more safe.
He was going to make it up to you somehow, he just knew you needed time. He was patient, but after waiting so long to make you his, his patience is wearing thin. Very thin.
“Found you.”
  The voice sent shivers down your spine. For a moment you were frozen in fear, but as you began to hear footsteps approaching you broke out into a run. You didn’t bother looking back. You knew that voice all too well and your only option here was to run. It was already so late into the night, and nobody else seemed to be around. As you ran you reached for your phone, dialing emergency services. You were running out of breath, looking for a place to hide. As you heard someone answer the phone, a hand was suddenly over your mouth, pulling you back.
“You can’t run from me anymore.”
    Your eyes shot open and you jumped up in bed, breathing heavily as your mind was racing. You gripped the bed sheets tightly, taking in your surroundings and starting to settle back into reality. It was just a bad dream, just another bad dream. You laid back in bed, eyes losing focus as you looked at the ceiling, trying to think of anything else so you could forget this nightmare all the quicker. The problem was it wasn’t the first time you had dreamt of something like that, and it probably wouldn’t be the last.
    Once your mind had settled, and your breathing was even, you got up. You grabbed your phone and stared at the date for a while. It had nearly been a year since you last saw him, even in your nightmares about him, you never saw his face. His voice alone was enough to haunt you. At first you adored it, hearing such sweet words from him, hearing your own name, but now the memory itself made you feel uneasy. Even if you were living a normal life, he still clung to you like a shadow. Sometimes he wasn’t visible, but he was always there, and you could do nothing to get rid of him.
    You had some breakfast and got ready for the day, taking a moment to let the sun wash over you. It was a silly substitute to the warmth you once got from another. You walked over to your bus stop, thinking about what your day would look like, already forgetting about the morning. The day itself was normal, and you figured it would end that way, but I guess that was too much to ask for. As you walked to your apartment you noticed two figures in black waiting outside your door. You thought to run away and call the cops but they noticed you first, waving you over and taking steps in your direction.
“Miss y/n, we’re with the police and have a few questions for you.”
“… pah… police?”
    You were thinking of running, but when they said they were police you let your guard down a bit. The two got close and showed you their badges, detectives Choi and Kim.
“Uh… what is this about… I’m a good citizen and-”
“Can we speak somewhere more private?”
“Yeah… sure…”
    You let the two into your place, offering them something to drink and sitting down with them in your living room. You were visibly nervous, and they noticed.
“You’re not in trouble.” Detective Choi assured you. “We just had some questions for you regarding Wen Junhui.”
“Oh… you mean…”
“I believe he goes by Jun.”
“What’s this about? I haven’t heard from him since…”
“Nearly a year ago he was institutionalized for…” Detective Kim began but stopped. “Well you know the rest. You haven’t had any contact with him since, have you?”
“No. Not at all. He wrote me letters for a while, but I never read them and just sent them back. Eventually he stopped, and I haven’t heard from him at all. Nor did I ever try to make contact with him.”
“But you do know where he is?”
“The facility that has him in their care, yes, I’m aware of it.”
“You said he sent you letters.” Detective Choi continued. “And eventually stopped. You haven’t received anything strange in the mail lately, have you?”
“Nothing at all. As you know I’ve moved, and I doubt he knows my current address. What is this about anyway? Does he have a hearing or something? I was informed he’d remain institutionalized because of his diagnosis and beha… vior…”
    You trailed off as things started to fall into place. It was late at night and two detectives had been waiting for you at your door. Now they were asking if you had any contact with that guy, especially recently.
“He broke out… didn’t he…”
“Unfortunately he-.”
“How!? Those type of places-”
“Please calm down, miss. You’re correct that he has no idea about your current whereabouts, we’re just asking for information about him.”
“Information!? What can I possibly give you? The police report on him says everything you need to know! He’s a stalker, he abused me, he kidnapped me, he locked me up, he nearly killed me! He’s a psycho who got off easy going to some asylum for the mentally insane! And now you’re here telling me he escaped! How exactly do you think I can help you!”
“We just-”
“GET OUT!”
    You expected some decency, for the two to get up and leave on their own. They did get up, but instead of leaving, they locked the door.
“Wa… what are you doing…”
“I’m afraid we can’t leave until we get what we came for.”
    You grabbed your phone and bolted for your room, only for Kim to grab you and pin you against a wall. You tried to break free, but he was much stronger than you.
“Who are you!”
“We’re just trying to help, honest.” Choi said. “We’re trying to find Jun, and you’re our best bet.”
“I want nothing to do with him!”
“We’re well aware of his history with you, and understand you have no ties to him, but he’ll be looking for you. So we need to know everything. If anything strange has happened lately, any friends reach out and seem weird, anything at all. You might not be aware of his presence, but he could be nearby.”
“He… he…”
“Once we’re satisfied we’ll go, and you won’t see us again.”
“No… no, I don’t know anything!”
“Then just let us be sure.”
    You were held still as the other jabbed a needle into your neck. You screamed bloody murder, thrashing around, but soon enough you felt yourself growing weak. You thought you’d pass out, but instead wound up in this drowsy state. Kim set you down on the couch, keeping his hands on your shoulders so you wouldn’t slump over.
“What are you gonna…”
“This won’t hurt, promise, but it might feel weird.”
“Uh…”
    You could vaguely make out Choi getting something from his pocket, like a small tin case. Then you felt something small and cold pressed against the side of your head. It made you shiver, and then you felt some weird tingle, like static in your head.
“Why don’t we do a quick trip down memory lane to make sure we didn’t miss anything.”
“Jun!”
    You ran into the arms of your best friend, your lover, your everything. He picked you up with ease and spun you around before peppering your face with kisses.
“And where have you been all day, my love?”
“Working. Someone has to pay the bills around here.”
“We both pay the bills, not just you.”
“True… and what have you been up to today?”
“Trying out a new recipe for my love.”
“Is that what the delicious smell is?”
“Yes. It’s almost done, so wash up for dinner.”
“Will do.”
    You had known Jun for most of your life, and we’re always so close. It only felt natural that your friendship would evolve into something more. Jun confessed to you with a bouquet of roses and poured his heart out, bringing you to tears. You had both loved each other for a while, but he was the one with courage to say it first. From there everything was like a dream. He was so perfect, and he convinced you to move in with him after a few months. Your life together felt like something out of a fairy tale at times.
“Open wide.”
    Jun loved to feed you, especially when he cooked. Not to mention giving you a bath at the end of the week.
“This tastes divine.”
“Only the best for my love.”
    He cuddled with you every night, and every morning you had to fight with him to let you go. It was adorable, even if sometimes you didn’t have time for it. You knew he did it all out of love, and you couldn’t fault him for that.
“I’m going to be home late tonight, so don’t wait up.”
“What? Why?”
“I’m hanging out with the girls tonight.”
“No, no, no.” Jun reached over and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you back down into bed with him. “Let’s have a movie night together, just the two of us.”
“Hm, that does sound tempting, but I haven’t seen the girls in months now. So a night out is overdue.”
“Do you have to?” Jun pouted. “I don’t want you out alone.”
“I won’t be alone.”
“Yes you will, I won’t be there. It’s gonna be so lonely.”
You giggled. “Don’t be silly, I’ll be fine.”
“Then can I come?”
“Girls night, sorry, I don’t make the rules.”
“No fair.”
    Jun was very reluctant to let you go, but he knew he wouldn’t get you to change your mind about the matter. He called you often that night, just checking in and asking if you needed a ride, wanting to know where you were. After a few drinks though you stopped answering and just focused on enjoying yourself. He didn’t take that well though.
“Y/n!”
“Huh? Jun? What are you doing here? How did you find-”
“Why didn’t you answer your phone, I was so worried!” Jun came over and pulled you into a hug. “I thought something had happened to you.”
“I told you I was hanging out with the girls tonight.”
“And you couldn’t answer my calls or texts?”
“I answered you ten times already.”
“Look at you, your face is burning up. It’s time you came home anyway, let’s go.”
“What, no, Jun.” You pulled away. “The night’s still young, and the party is far from over. I’m fine, so you can go now.”
“No, you’re coming with me. If you can’t even answer your phone, then you’re done.”
“Ya! You’re not my dad! Now go.”
“Y/n-”
“Go.”
“No, you’re coming home-”
“I’m not. I’ll stay with a friend tonight, so don’t wait up.”
Jun laughed. “Hilarious.”
    Jun grabbed your arm, his grasp a lot stronger than before, and he started dragging you away from the others. Your friends immediately got up and tried to get him to let go, but he pushed them all away, and considering most of you were already tipsy, they lost balance quickly.
“Jun!”
“If this is how you’re gonna behave, then you’re not going out again.”
“Jun, let me go!”
    You couldn’t break free, but when you got to the car you started fighting him. He had opened the door for you and was trying to get you in, but you refused.
“Don’t be a brat!”
    Jun slapped you, making you freeze. It wasn’t a hard hit, but your cheek still burned from the impact. You grabbed your cheek with your free hand, slowly looking back at Jun.
“Get in the car.”
    In your state of shock it was easy to get you in the car, he even put your seat belt on for you and then slammed the door shut. You watched him walk to the drivers side, silently getting in the car and driving off. You stayed quiet the whole ride over, waiting for him to open the door and pull you out of the car too. Neither of you spoke until you were in the house.
“I’m sorry about-”
“You hit me… you actually…”
“You’re drunk and-”
“YOU HIT ME!”
“And you weren’t listening to me! I told you I didn’t want you going out tonight, and you completely ignored me.”
“I have my own life you know, a life outside of you.”
“No you don’t. I’m your whole world, and what I say goes.”
“Says who?”
“Me! Nobody knows you like me, and I know what’s best for you. Being out late and drinking, it’s not the best idea, and you shouldn’t be doing that.”
“Oh, unless you’re there, right?”
“You need someone to look after you.”
“I can look after myself. In case you didn’t realize, I was doing just fine without you.”
“Hardly.”
“How did you even find me anyway? I didn’t tell you where I was.”
“That was the first thing that made me worry! I had to use the tracking app to-”
“Tracking app!”
“Yes. The one for couples, so we can always-”
“When the hell did you install that in my phone?! And without telling me!”
    You pulled your phone out of your bag and began looking through your apps, seeing what he was talking about. You couldn’t believe you had never noticed it before. You were about to uninstall it when Jun snatched your phone away from you.
“Ya! Give that back!”
“You won’t be going out for a while, so won’t need it.”
“Excuse me!”
“It’s late, and you’ve had dinner, so you should get to bed.”
“You can’t be serious right now.”
“Very.”
“You’re unbelievable.” You headed for the door. “I swear you’re acting crazy right now.”
“Where are you going?”
“Anywhere else!”
“You are so full of jokes tonight.”
    Jun grabbed your arm again and dragged you to the bedroom. He started stripping off your clothes and you were quick to stop him.
“What are you doing!”
“You’re drunk and need help getting your clothes off so you can shower.”
“Get your hands off!”
“Come on, babe, it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.”
“I said let go!”
    Your actions and words were met with another slap, stunning you into silence once more. You felt tears sting your eyes, and then Jun pressed a kiss to your head.
“I’m sorry, love, that seems to be the only way to get you to listen right now.”
“Please let go…”
“I’m trying-”
“I’ll take a shower and get ready for bed…”
“But-”
“Can you make me some tea?”
Jun smiled. “Of course, baby, I’ll make your favorite.”
“Thank you.”
    Jun gave you another forehead kiss before leaving you alone. You stood in place for a while before stripping out of your clothes and going into the shower. You didn’t know when the tears started mixing with the water, but you stayed there for a while and let yourself cry. The day had started out fine, but now everything felt like a nightmare. Everything you thought you knew about Jun had changed so fast, you felt like the boy you had known, had fallen for, wasn’t even real. Eventually Jun knocked on the door, and you told him you’d be out in a minute. You dried your hair and got into some clothes, meeting him in the kitchen for tea.
“Here you are.”
“Thank you…”
“I’m sorry about tonight, love.” Jun softly pet your head. “I didn’t like you being out there alone. It was better I take you home.”
“Hm…”
    You took a sip of your tea, the warmth making you feel a bit better. Although you tasted something off about it. You couldn’t quite put your finger on it, and while you were thinking Jun tipped the cup towards your lips.
“Drink up while it’s warm, it’ll help you sleep.”
    You wound up drinking every drop so as to not spill anything, and you definitely felt funny. You had been tipsy earlier, and practically sobered up in the shower, but this felt different. You were feeling drowsy, and Jun took your cup from you before you dropped it.
“Jun…”
“Sh, it’s late, you should get some sleep.”
“I don’t… I feel…”
    Your legs gave out and Jun scooped you up in his arms. You could barely make out his face, let alone his words. With whatever strength you had you held onto him, mumbling about what was going on, but you were incapable of getting an answer. Despite your effort to hold on, you eventually fell into darkness.
    You woke with a minor headache, snuggling against your pillow when you felt something cold on your leg. You lazily sat up, thinking your leg wasn’t covered, but it was, so you pulled back the blanket to see a chain. Now you were awake, and you grabbed the chain, following it to the leg of the bed frame, seeing that you were locked up.
“Wa… Jun!”
    You were tugging on the chain when Jun came in, and he immediately stopped you. He could see the look of panic on your face, trying to calm you down.
“Easy there, baby, did you have a bad dream?”
“What is this? Why did you chain me up?”
“Oh, that, just to make sure you’re safe.”
“Safe?”
“You had a crazy night, so you should stay in bed today and rest. This is just a precaution.”
“Take it off, now!”
“Baby.”
“Now! Where did you even get a chain! And about last night, you were acting so crazy! I thought you’d be fine today, but this is unacceptable.”
“I’m just looking out for you and doing what’s best.”
“I can decide that for myself.”
“You’ve shown me otherwise.”
“What?”
“Last night is proof enough. I’ve always been worried about the company you keep and-”
“Stop, just stop it. Get this chain off, and then we can talk.”
“We don’t need to.”
“Jun!”
“Since you’re up, I’ll bring you breakfast.”
“No, Jun!”
    He didn’t listen and left you to struggle with the chain again. When he came back he had you sit against the headboard, setting down a tray for you and trying to feed you, but you refused him.
“Baby, you have to eat.”
“Not until you let me go.”
“That’s for your own good.”
“…”
“Baby-”
    You flipped over the tray, getting food all over him and the bed. He stayed in place for a moment before quietly getting up and gathering the dishes. He left without a word and then came back to properly clean up, removing the stained bed sheets, and anything else that was dirty. You watched him in silence, glaring daggers at him, but he paid you no mind. Your clothes had gotten stained, but he didn’t do anything about that at first. Although when he came back with a glass of water you were confused.
“Here. At least hydrate.”
“No thanks.”
“Seriously?”
“I know you put something in the tea last night… you think I’m gonna trust anything else from you?”
“Hm. I guess that’s fair.”
    Jun drank the glass of water and set it down on the nightstand, going over to his dresser and rummaging around for something. From where you were you managed to see him pull out a small box, then there was a needle and vial in his hand.
“Jun…”
“You need a bath after that ordeal, and if you’re not gonna behave on your own, I have other methods.”
“What is that! Where did you get that!”
“It won’t hurt.”
“Jun!”
    As he approached you tried to get away, but you could only move so far before the chain went taut. Jun crawled onto the bed, and then on top of you, keeping you pinned with his body weight.
“Ju… Jun…”
“It’s just some medicine.”
“Get that away.”
“Sh, sh, sh, just hold still.”
    Jun had always been stronger than you, so he kept you still with ease, exposing your neck and driving the needle into you. The pinch made you close your eyes, and you could hear your own racing heart in your ears. A tear slid down your cheek, and a moment later Jun was wiping it away.
“Don’t cry my love, I’m just doing what’s best for you.”
“Please… let me go…”
“Sh, let’s get you cleaned up, okay.”
    You were already feeling weak, and Jun moved you with ease. You barely noticed when he took off the chain, or began to get you out of your clothes. He disappeared for a moment, and the picked you up in his arms. He took you into the bathroom, removing the last bits of clothing and putting you in a warm bath. He actually felt nice, but that might have been the drugs talking. Jun tended to bathe you on friday nights, so this wasn’t difficult for him. Especially since you were nothing but a doll at his mercy like this.
    At some point you did fall asleep, waking up dressed and in bed like nothing happened. Although the chain was back on your leg. You tried to sit up, but found it difficult to do so and just went back to sleep. When you woke up later Jun was there, helping you up so you could eat. You were still weak, so you couldn’t throw the food like before, but you did keep your mouth shut. That is until Jun grabbed your face and forced a spoon full of food past your lips. You had no choice but to eat, you were hungry after all.
“There you go, that’s a good girl.”
    You never really recovered from that day. Jun kept you chained up and in that drowsy state. You slept a lot, and you had no sense of time besides the daylight, but you couldn’t always trust that. Jun always made sure you ate, and cleaned you up too. You could barely understand anything he said, but you could make out the smile he always had on his face. You were powerless to stop him, but you knew you needed to figure out some way out of this. It was hard to come up with a plan when you could barely think for yourself , but fortune was on your side.
    One morning you had woken up with Jun, getting your face peppered with kisses as he cooed and snuggled against you. When he got up you noticed his phone on the nightstand. He’d be back soon, but you couldn’t waste this opportunity. You crawled over and grabbed his phone, shakily sending a message to a mutual friend of yours, and signing it with your name. You had to be quick, so you only begged them to come over. From there you scrambled to delete the message so Jun wouldn’t find out. As you were putting it back on the nightstand Jun came back and quickly took it from you.
“No, no, no, baby, that’s not for you.”
    You were nervous about getting caught, but after inspecting the phone he didn’t find anything suspicious. Now you could only wait and hope your message had been received.
“I’ll get started on breakfast.”
    Jun tucked you back into bed and went off to start preparations. He was nearly finished when he heard a knock at the door. He wasn’t expecting anything so he was quite perplexed. As he approached the knocking got louder and more aggressive. He checked to see who it was, finding a familiar face on the other side of the door. So he opened it, but only a bit.
“Hello, Misu, what brings you by so early?”
“Here to see y/n and talk about plans for the weekend. Can I come in?”
“Unfortunately y/n is sick and isn’t accepting visitors right now.”
“Oh dear, is it a fever? She rarely gets sick, let me see her.”
“That’s alright, I wouldn’t want you getting sick.”
“It’s no bother. I’m sure you’re tired looking after her day and night, I can give you a bit of down time.”
“No, no, it’s fine. I’ll let her know you stopped by.” Jun tried to close the door, but Misu stopped him. “Yes?”
“I’m not leaving until I see her.”
“She’s sick and-”
“And no one has heard from her in weeks. Not even her job.”
“She’s on sick leave.”
“Prove it.”
“I’m sorry, are you doubting me?”
“Not at all. I just want to see my friend and make sure she’s alright.”
“She is, I assure you.”
“And you expect me to trust you after that night?”
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what you’re referring to.”
“Oh you know, when you showed up unannounced and dragged y/n out of the restaurant. You fucken hit her! Twice!”
“We had a little disagreement and-”
    Jun didn’t get to finish as Misu pushed their way into the house, calling out your name. They didn’t get far before Jun grabbed them.
“If you don’t leave now I will call the cops and have you arrested for trespassing.”
“Go ahead, call them. I’m curious to know which of us will end up in handcuffs.”
    Misu pulled away and stormed into the house, still calling out your name. Jun glared and watched them go, starting to think about what to do. The sound of your name stirred you from your slumber. For a moment you thought you were just hearing things, but it was getting louder and louder. You tried to sit up, but you could barely manage, so you just screamed out for help with your voice, starting to choke on your sobs.
“Holy fuck, y/n!”
    Seeing Misu in your line of sight made you cry tears of joy. They had come, and they knew you weren’t alright.
“What the hell is all this, what happened?”
“Hel… help…”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m going to call the police, this is fucken crazy.”
    Misu dialed emergency services, putting the phone down for a moment and focusing on the chain, trying to figure out how to remove it. You were so focused on them that you didn’t notice Jun coming into the room, not until he had Misu in a choke hold.
“Jun!”
“Sh, sh, sh, don’t worry about this baby, just an uninvited guest.”
    You couldn’t do anything as Jun dragged Misu out of the room. You started crying again, thinking you had made matters worse. In between your sobs you heard a voice, and then realized Misu left their phone, and it was still on a call. You quickly found it, realizing the operator was still on the line. You composed yourself enough to ask for help, telling them you were being held captive, managing to give your address too.
“I know that… give me that!”
    When Jun returned and found you on the phone he quickly took it from you and hung up. He was glaring at you, but before he could say anything he noticed Misu had left her messages open, and there was the one you had secretly sent from Jun’s phone.
“You… you… how could you!”
“Jun, please… please…”
“After everything I’ve done! You, you, how dare you!”
“… please… just stop this…”
“We have to go, we can’t stay here anymore.”
“Jun-”
“Quiet! Not another word from you.”
    You certainly quiet down when you saw Jun with another needle. You could barely struggle beneath him, and felt the pinch on your neck. Jun removed the chain and picked you up in his arms, taking you out to the car, and that’s when you heard the sirens. A weak smile appeared on your lips, feeling a sense of relief. So you let your eyes shut, hoping to wake up in a better place.
“Y/n… y/n, please wake up…”
“Hm…”
    Once again your name brought you back from the void. Everything was a blur as you opened your eyes, your senses slowly taking in the world. You heard a steady beeping noise, the white of the room hurting your eyes. Although your movements didn’t go unnoticed.
“Y/n! You’re awake! Doctor! Doctor!”
    Soon enough you could make out Misu’s face, but your vision was soon blurred by tears as you saw the bruises on their neck.
“Misu… Misu, are you okay…”
“Don’t worry about me, worry about yourself. I’m so sorry I didn’t realize something was wrong sooner. I couldn’t fathom Jun… I’m sorry…”
“He… what happened…”
“He was arrested, and is currently being processed. I already told the police everything, and even asked about getting you a restraining order.”
“… what happened to us…”
“Don’t waste tears on that monster. Everything’s going to be alright now.”
    The doctor looked you over once you were awake.Thankfully your health was alright, you just had drugs you needed to flush out of your system. Although the doctor did mention the withdrawal wouldn’t be pleasant either. Misu promised to stay with you, not planning to leave your side anytime soon. You’d be staying in the hospital for a while, and they’d be your overnight guest. It was weird getting back to normal. The world was no longer spinning and you could actually focus on things and be awake again. The withdrawal wasn’t fun though, but you were in a hospital, so nothing bad could really happen to you.
“What the fuck do you mean he got out!”
    Misu reacted for you when some detectives came by, telling you that Jun had gotten out on bail. He would still be prosecuted for assault, and kidnapping, but for now he was free on the streets.
“What stupid… look at me! Look at her! A guy like that shouldn’t be out of prison!”
“I’m sorry, but that’s the law here.”
“What if he comes here, tries to threaten us to drop the charges?”
“We’ll have someone posted outside until the court hearing.”
“Unbelievable.”
“Misu… we’ll be okay… right?”
“Of course. You heard them, we’ll have our own security detail, and I doubt that asshole knows where we are anyway. No one’s gonna talk to him and tell him. We’ll get him arrested at court and get that restraining order as well.”
    Misu’s words reassured you, so you could rest easy. You had a date set, so now you had to wait for that. It gave you some piece of mind, and that’s all you could ask for right now. Once you were better you were allowed to go to the garden to get some fresh air. You’d probably be discharged soon, and Misu offered you to stay with them while you figured out what to do next. Your other friends also came to visit you, glad to know you were alright and also apologizing. You didn’t blame them though. You and Jun had always been so perfect, but things just went south so fast. You thought everything would be alright now, but that wasn’t the case.
    You were sleeping peacefully when you heard some noises outside your room. You groggily woke up, seeing someone come into the room. You rubbed the sleep from your eyes, seeing the white coat and believing a doctor had come to see you. It was strange to have a visit at night, but you figured it was for good reason. Before you could ask there was a rag in your face, and you were pushed back against your pillow. Now that they were close you could see their eyes, and you’d recognize those anywhere. You tried to scream and squirm, but the chemicals were already taking hold.
    When you had gotten weak he stepped away, doing the same thing to Misu who had not woken up from the commotion. You could barely keep your eyes open, and you certainly couldn’t scream for help. Once Jun was done with her, he brought over a wheelchair, getting you into it, and putting a mask on your face. He gently pet your head and mumbled something about taking you home, but you couldn’t do anything to stop him. He wheeled you right past the officer posted outside your room, even greeting them on the way out. You desperately wished to say or do anything, but you were barely holding onto consciousness.
    You could barely make out the elevator ride, but you were aware enough to realize you had been taken to the parking garage. Jun easily got you into the backseat of the car, laying you down and wrapping you up in a blanket. He found your attempt to struggle adorable, but just told you to get some rest and that everything would be alright. You couldn’t fight the drugs for much longer, and ultimately passed out. Completely unaware of what awaited you when you woke up.
    The new place was so unfamiliar to you, the first thing it did was strike fear into your heart. You felt like no one would find you, and that’s exactly what Jun wanted. You woke up as you arrived, Jun carrying you inside and into the bedroom. Of course he chained you up again, but things were different this time. You weren’t on his drugs anymore, and now that you were awake, you were gaining back your strength. You couldn’t just be weak this time.
    So when you had the chance you attacked, grabbing Jun from behind and trying to choke him out. He was quite surprised by your actions, but he still had the upper hand. He slammed you down on the bed and pried your hands off him. You would have thought he’d scramble away, but instead he quickly pinned you down, glaring daggers at you. Of course you were afraid, but you couldn’t just let that fear take over and make you helpless.
“When did you get so brave?”
“You should be in prison!”
“And away from you? Do you have any idea how agonizing these last few days have been without you?”
“They’ve been heaven for me.”
“Liar!”
“It’s true! Being away from you, being free! I don’t know what happened, but you’re not the Jun I fell in love with!”
“I am! I’m the same Jun you’ve known your whole life.”
“No you’re not!”
“Yes I am! The same man who has loved you for years, who couldn’t bear the thought of you being with another! I’ve always loved you so deeply, I can’t live without you! Don’t make me lose you again… please…”
“This isn’t love! You kept me trapped at home like some animal and-”
“You were gone! Out in the world without me, and I didn’t know if you were alright. You scared me to death that night, I couldn’t handle the thought of losing you again. I had to keep you safe!”
“This isn’t how you keep someone safe! This is kidnapping and-”
“It’s just the two of us. No one will find us here, we’ll be okay, and we’ll be together, that’s all that matters.”
“You’re crazy if you think I still love you after all this…”
“Don’t say that… I know you love me…”
“I don’t know you…”
“…”
    You could see the heartbreak in Jun’s eyes, and it terrified you. He was acting like a total psycho, yet it seemed like his feelings for you were sincere. It made you wonder if he was always like this, if you had never known this side to him. Although the answer was clear as day now. He had always been so clingy, never really letting you go out without him, and even when you did, he’d check in every hour or more. You were so blinded by love you couldn’t see the warning signs, no one around you really did.
“Liar… you’re a fucken liar! You think you can just throw away all those years of our love! All your stupid so-called friends have been feeding you lies! Taking you away from me when I’m the only person you need! Because of them you were in the hospital! Because… you called them… you were the one… you betrayed me!”
“Then just kill me already! I’d rather be dead than be locked up with you!”
“You don’t mean that!”
“If you won’t do it, I’ll do it myself!”
“Liar! You… you… if you don’t love me anymore, then I can’t let you love another! It’s only me!”
“What-”
    In the heat of the moment Jun wrapped his hands around your throat and started to squeeze. You didn’t register what he was doing at first until you found it difficult to breathe. You reached up to get him off, but he didn’t budge.
“Ju… Jun… Jun…”
“You’re mine, and only mine!”
“… jun…”
    You couldn’t hold out for long, the edges of your vision going black. You said you’d kill yourself just to get away from him, but you didn’t think he’d do it himself. The lack of oxygen weakened you by the second, so you stopped fighting all together and just let it happen. This may not be how you pictured your end, but you’d take it if it meant freedom. Jun didn’t let up either, not until you stopped moving. Then he realized what he had done.
“Y/n… y/n! Y/n, wake up! Wake up, I’m sorry! I’m sorry, please, y/n, wake up!”
    Jun shook your body, quick to begin CPR, and not stopping until you took in a breath. He was so relieved, and held you tightly, weeping into your chest.
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry… please forgive me…”
    You could barely make out his words as you were taking in life again. Relieved and disappointed all at once. Silent tears slid down your cheeks as you were left to wallow in your meaningless future.
    Jun couldn’t apologize enough for his actions, but he vowed to treat you with such care. Although that was difficult as you were still upset with you. He struggled to get you to eat, or even look at him. He may not have access to the medicine he gave you before, but your lack of nutrition was making you weak.
“My love, you have to eat.”
“…”
“I won’t let you die like this, so please, you have to keep up your strength.”
    At times he’d have to force feed you, even if a bit, just to make sure he wouldn’t lose you. Still, he could see such emptiness in those eyes, and it pained him dearly. No matter what he did, it seemed like that spark was gone. You on the other hand truly felt like a living corpse, but a part of you still thought of escaping. It took days, maybe even weeks, it was hard to tell time anymore, before you found your chance. The chain only ever came off when you needed to take a bath, so that was your time to act.
    When you had the chance you shoved Jun out of the bathroom and quickly locked the door behind him. He immediately panicked, but you focused on what you needed to do. You only had a bit of time, and your strength wasn’t what it used to be. You turned on the shower head, trying to fill the tub faster, grabbing a bunch of things and throwing them into the water all together, splashing it around a bit to give the illusion you were attempting to drown yourself. You heard the panic in his voice, knowing he was putting together pieces you had laid out, so now was your chance.
    There was a small window in the bathroom, one you had never seen locked. It was just big enough for you to squeeze through, even if it would be painful. You forced it open and began to crawl through, grateful you were on the ground floor. Once you were outside you didn’t hesitate to get up and run. You weren’t trying to go far, you didn’t have the time for that, so the plan was to go to the neighbors for help. You saw a light on in one of the houses down the street and ran over to it, frantically banging on the wall and asking for help. Soon enough there was an answer and you let yourself in, telling the home owners to call the police, that you had escaped from your captor.
    You were glad they believed you, and you stayed with them, out of sight, until the police showed up. Of course you had been missing this whole, so your escape brought relief to many around you. Although you had been worried about Jun escaping, the police had him in custody, and you saw him being taken into the back of a police car. That is until he saw you and went ballistic. He got away from the officers holding him and made a run for you. Thankfully he didn’t get close, but the possibility itself terrified you.
“Y/n! You’re okay! You scared me back there! Please, baby, tell them there’s been some mistake! Y/n! Y/n, look at me! Y/n!”
    You hid behind a friend of yours that showed up, keeping your tears to yourself and trying to ignore his words. You were trembling, just wanting everything to stop. It wasn’t until you were told he was gone that you could lift your head. Relief washed over you, and you were properly taken care of from there. He didn’t get bail this time, just kept locked up until the trial. Now you were dreading that, not wanting to see him again, but you had no choice if you wanted to make sure he was behind bars. Although sadly that didn’t go to plan.
    His lawyer pleaded insanity, going over all the things he had done to you, and stating how that proved Jun was mentally unwell. His behavior at the trial certainly convinced everyone else too. The whole time he couldn’t keep his eyes on you, on occasion whispering your name and an apology. Asking if you were alright, if you had eaten, completely ignoring the trial itself. Everything he did to you was out of love, even you couldn’t deny that, and his lawyer used that to his advantage. In the end he got a proper diagnosis and was sent to a mental asylum for treatment. That wasn’t really what you wanted, but as long as he was away from you and couldn’t hurt anyone, it was good.
    You couldn’t really go back to the place you called home. You did try, but he was everywhere, not to mention the letters you received practically every day. If you truly wanted to get better you had to move on with your life, move on from him. So you did. You sold the house and got your own apartment, moving away and losing some friends along the way. You had to do what was best for you. It took a while, but you slowly started living again, but your heart remained still. After all that, you couldn’t possibly trust anyone with it ever again.
“Hm… there really is nothing…” Choi said. “I kinda expected… something…”
“I guess she really hates him.” Kim added. “You know that boy never shut up about you, kinda feel bad for the sucker now.”
Your head was pounding, so many memories being dragged to the surface at once, you could barely make sense of the present.
“… who… who are… you… really…”
“No one important. We’ll keep an eye on you though.” Choi stated “Jun is bound to find you.”
“No… no, please…”
“Don’t worry. We won’t let him get you, we just want him back in his cage.”
“Huh?”
“Nothing to worry about. Let’s go.”
    You felt something get take off your head, the static feeling finally starting to fade away. You could see the other two making their way to the door, and you tried to get up, but ultimately collapsed to your knees. You heard the door open, and then there was a crash. Kim landed next to you, knocked out from the impact. You were starting to get your stability back, looking up to see an impossible sight before you. Choi was dangling in the air, clawing at his throat, struggling to breath. You thought you were still delicious, moreso when you saw a third party in your apartment. The figure stepped closer and closer, ultimately coming into the light and making your eyes go wide.
“… no… no, no, no… it can’t be…”
“… how… how did you…” Choi choked out. “… how…”
“It was easy.” Jun laughed. “I saw you scoping out my old home, and I followed you from there. I knew you’d lead me right to her, so it was a matter of waiting.”
    The gentlemen in the air suddenly flew out the window, making you scream and cover your head. You then heard footsteps approach, crushing glass along the way. You were too scared to look, wanting to believe this was all just another nightmare. Your desires didn’t do anything for you as you felt a hand grab your chin and force your gaze to meet theirs.
“Found you… I finally found you, my love.”
“… you… you’re not real… you can’t…”
“Sh, I know it’s shocking. I can’t quite believe you’re real either, but you are, and so am I.”
“… no…”
“My poor baby, you must have missed me so much. I know things didn’t go well last time, but this time it will be perfect. You and I-”
    Kim had regained consciousness, immediately drawing his firearm, only for his weapon to suddenly be pointed up, and all rounds emptied into the ceiling. You screamed after the first shot and covered your ears.
“You dare to try and hurt my lover?!”
“Subject 074, you’re to return to containment!”
“I didn’t escape, just to go back. I will thank you for the blessing though.”
    Once the gunshots had stopped, you took a moment to settle down. Whatever this was, you couldn’t stay, so when you had the chance you ran for the door. You only took a few steps before you lost your footing and found yourself floating up in the air. You screamed over the sudden levitation, not understanding what was happening.
“I’m sorry love, I know this must all be so scary and confusing, but I can explain.”
“… pu… put me down…”
“Of course.”
    You tried to run away, but the door slammed in your face. Even though it wasn’t locked you couldn’t get it open, as if something heavy was blocking it. You eventually gave up and collapsed to the floor curling up and shutting your eyes. You heard footsteps approaching, flinching when you felt a hand on your head.
“Sh, sh, my baby, everything’s going to be okay, I’m back now.”
“No… no you can’t… the police…”
“They can’t keep me away from you, no one can.” Jun smiled. “I should get rid of our uninvited guest first though.”
    You didn’t know what that meant, but you made the mistake of looking over as Kim was also tossed out the window. You hid your face again, starting to sob. This was the worst nightmare you had ever had.
“We should probably go somewhere else.”
    You suddenly began to feel dizzy, as if the ground beneath you was moving. You opened your eyes, confirming that wasn’t the case, but not feeling well regardless. Jun watched you with a fond smile on his face, petting your head some more and softly cooing you to sleep. For whatever reason you couldn’t resist, not even if the adrenaline of all these events should keep you awake. The last thing you saw was Jun’s wicked smile, hoping this was all just a dream.
    You woke up peacefully, hoping to find yourself in bed, but that wasn’t the case. You sat up and found yourself in some kind of glass cage. There was no top, but the walls were too high, and there was no way for you to climb out. Around you there was nothing but darkness, and you thought you were alone until Jun showed his face.
“There you are.”
“… no… no you can’t… you’re not… this is just another dream… just another bad dream…”
“Oh, did you dream about me? I did too. Both at night and during the day. I missed you so dearly my love I was going insane.” Jun laughed. “I guess my love for you did work in my favor.”
    You were still uncertain about this whole thing, but you were so confused more than anything. You wanted nothing to do with him anymore, nothing at all, but something was very different about him, very wrong.
“How… how did you escape… you’re supposed to be… medicated and… and…”
“Out of my mind? Please, I was never sick to begin with, so there was nothing to treat. Everyone thought my love for you was psycho, but they were wrong, even you.”
“… me?”
“You couldn’t understand that everything I did for you was because I loved you, because I had to protect you.”
“That wasn’t love…”
“Not what most would think, but that’s the only thing that dictated my actions.” Jun came up to the glass, a deranged look on his face. “I love you, y/n, always. Now we can finally be together, and no one can ever take you away from me.”
“No… no this isn’t right, this isn’t love.”
“Silence!” Jun took a breath. “Everyone always says that, but they’d happily use it to their advantage. You know a lot’s been happening these last couple of months.”
    Even if you were scared, there were still things you wanted to say. Although now they all seemed to be stuck in your throat.
“At first I was in that asylum. Taking pills and talking to doctors, everyone trying to fix me, but you can’t fix what isn’t broken. Then they came along… I know what you might be thinking, who, but even I don’t know that. What I do know is they took me somewhere else, somewhere special. They said I was special, that I had great potential. I think it was just cause I appeared crazier than the others, but that’s when the real fun began. Needles, and drugs, and blood, and pills, and torture… I was their human lab rat… for what I’m not sure, but I can’t deny the results.”
    Jun started laughing again, and then you began to notice things start to float up in the air. He knew you were watching, so he began to make the items move around with ease. Then it finally clicked, this was all his doing.
“Power, like nothing else. Telekinesis, that’s what they call it. Isn’t it cool? The power to move things with my mind. They were certainly happy with me, telling me I was a good investment, wanting to move on to the next phase, but I only cared about one thing, you. It honestly wasn’t that hard to escape, they doubted my skills, not to mention my other powers.”
    In the blink of an eye Jun disappeared, and then he stood right before you, inside that glass cage with you. He quickly cornered you, keeping you pressed up against the glass and pinned by his own body. He had that devilish smile on his lips, and you wanted to look away but he grabbed your chin.
“They were really no match for me. The only hard part was finding you again. You completely disappeared, leaving behind no real trace. I guess I got lucky seeing those two snooping around. I would have found you anyway, but they sped up the process.” Jun stared at you fondly. “It’s good to see life in those eyes again. I missed it.”
“…”
“Ah, right, the other thing. You can speak your mind love.”
    It was a strange feeling, this heaviness in your chest suddenly disappearing. Your throat didn’t feel constricted anymore, so you tried speaking, surprising yourself with the results.
“Who are you…”
“Jun, Wen Junhui, the one and only.”
“You’re lying…”
Jun sighed. “This again. Why do you lie to yourself, are you so afraid of loving me?”
“You’re not Jun.”
“Of course I am.”
    His lips were suddenly pressed against yours, kissing you deeply, kissing you with hunger. Despite everything you had said so far, you couldn’t deny the familiarity you felt. When he pulled away you were both out of breath, but he was far from done with you. He latched onto your throat, kissing and sucking on your skin, marking you up in ways no one had in so long. You couldn’t resist it, not having felt this way in months, not having been touched in such a manner either.
    While Jun’s lips were on your neck, his hands were running down the side of your body, caressing you and squeezing. They wrapped around your waist and then moved down to grab your ass, making you jump, and he chuckled, calling you cute, but continuing. His hands began to tug down your pants, and you tried to stop him, only to have your hands slapped away. He bit down hard on your shoulder, giving you a warning to behave.
“You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for you baby, and I know you’ve been yearning for me too.”
“No… no… you-”
Your body doesn’t lie.” Jun hissed. “Just relax baby and let me take care of you.”
    You felt like you were melting under his touch. Every little skin to skin contact sending sparks across your body. Once he had access he didn’t waste any time to grab your crotch, starting to rub you through your panties. You bit your lip to hide your moan, only for him to notice and kiss you. Forcing your lips to part and making you moan into his mouth.
“That’s my girl.”
    Jun was just as impatient as you, soon enough moving your panties aside and teasing your core directly. He began to rub your clit, sending more tingles down your spine, and when he pushed a finger into you without warning you threw your head back. You nearly hit the glass but Jun moved you forward just enough to miss it. He loved the look on your face, especially knowing he was the cause of it. He just wanted to see more and more of it, having had his imagination for the past few months, and now finally having you in his grasp again.
    You were too focused on your own pleasure to remember the circumstances of your situation. Not having felt this way in so long, you were easily giving in to your carnal pleasures. It also didn’t help that Jun knew, and knew exactly what to do to make you his. Your body began to move in rhythm with his, your hips moving on their own, and your hands mindlessly looking for what you wanted. Jun was a step ahead of you, already having his pants at his ankles, making it easy for you to grip his cock. He let out a groan when you wrapped your hand around him.
“You really did miss me, you can’t lie.”
“Just… just shut up… and…”
“Fuck you?” Jun chuckled. “Anything for you.”
    He got sloppy fingering you, just wanting to get you ready as fast as possible, but he couldn’t hold out for long. Whatever bits of clothing you had that constricted his access to you were torn up, and soon enough your legs were wrapped around his waist.
“You want me baby?”
“Hm… yes, please…”
“You gotta say the magic word.”
“Please…”
“Nope, you gotta tell me what you want, and from who.”
“You… I want you to fuck me, please…”
“And what’s my name? What’s the name of your lover? The name of the one who owns our heart? The name I haven’t heard in so long.”
“… Jun…”
“Who?”
“Jun, please, please… fuck me.”
“With pleasure.”
    He wasn’t going to tease you any longer, and ready or not, you were going to take everything. In a swift motion he pushed into you, making you cry out his name in ecstasy. You had been stretched out like that in so long, and no one else besides Jun ever had the pleasure of doing so. He gave you a tiny moment to feel him before his basic instincts took over and he began to move. He was relentless, making up for lost time with each thrust, and making your eyes roll to the back of your head every time. His name spilled out of your mouth like a confession and a prayer all in one. Soon enough there was nothing in your head but him and what he was doing to you.
    As Jun got close to the edge he held you tighter, keeping you right where he wanted with ease. Although he wanted you to climax first, pressing you against the glass and using a free hand to rub your clit. He didn’t need to play with you for long before your vision went white and your body shook for him, squeezing him tighter and pushing him to his own climax. You could feel the warmth inside you growing and growing, feel him throb inside you. It brought tears to your eyes, reminding you of everything you had missed. Your body was spent, but Jun was far from done with you.
    He stayed put inside you, gently rocking his hips and making you tremble with the tiniest of movements. You could feel him getting hard again, knowing what came next and that you were powerless to stop him. He had a lot to make up for, and a lot of frustrations to get out. He worked you over for your second climax, and third, and fourth, and then it all blurred together into one. Somehow you could take, even if you felt like your body was way past its limit. Something in your mind keeping you in that perpetual state of bliss. You had lost count of how many times Jun spilled his seed inside you, but you could feel the overflow, and it was so nice.
“Had enough yet, baby girl?”
“Hm… I… I…”
“You don’t know? Did my precious girl get stupid on my cock?”
“…”
“I’ll take that as a yes. Why don’t you close your eyes and take a nap for me love, I got you.”
    Just as quick as you found yourself floating in a sea of bliss, you felt a calm darkness wash over you. The exhaustion made it so easy to just pass out by his words.
“Wake up, y/n.”
    You inhaled softly as you opened your eyes, still in an unfamiliar area. You looked around, seeing some sort of lab equipment around, but nothing you really recognized. Then you realized you were strapped down in this metal chair, something similar to what you’d find at the dentist’s office. You tried pulling on the restraints, but it was no use. Your body ached with exhaustion over the previous events. Which brought it all to the forefront of your mind, making your eyes go wide. You couldn’t believe that after all this time you had merely let Jun take you like that. You barely even put up a fight.
“Don’t beat yourself over that.”
“Huh?”
“I might have cheated there. I need you exhausted for this next part, and I figured I could kill two birds with one stone.”
“What are you talking about…”
“It felt good though, better than before, right? I know your memory might be fuzzy, but I promise it was way better. And we can do it again, and again, in the future.”
“What is this… what are you doing…”
“Right. That. I mentioned I had other powers besides telekinesis. You saw me teleport, so care to guess what the other one is?”
“…”
“Telepathy.”
  You screamed upon hearing his voice inside your head, pulling on the restraints again in a frantic panic.
“Easy there, easy. I’m not gonna do anything bad.”
“You… you manipulated me back there! You made me-”
“Oh please, you know you want me, and no one else. I was just making sure you felt extra good. Telepathy can be so fun when you figure out how to manipulate the brain.”
“Get out of my head!”
“You wound me with your words, but I forgive you. I’m gonna make it all better.”
“You psycho!”
“Everyone keeps calling me that, but what are you going to do? Even if you’re upset with me, that doesn’t change the fact you’re tired, and I can do what needs to be done.”
“Wot… what is that?”
“Fix us. Fix you.”
“What!?”
“It’s simple really. I’m just going to get rid of all the bad things, and only leave the good. Remove that terrible night where everything went wrong and go from there.”
“You can’t do that!”
“Yes I can. It’s all I ever wanted to do since that day, and now I have the power to do just that.” Jun came over to pet your head. “It won’t hurt at all, just a fuzzy little tingle while we talk and get things straight.”
“… no… stay out of my head!”
“Don’t be scared, I’m going to put everything back in place, and we’ll both be together again, like nothing ever happened.”
“Don’t… don’t, please…”
“Sh.” Jun kissed your head softly. “I’m gonna fix our love.”
— traffic stop | leon kennedy
pairings: leon x fem reader
warnings: fluff
synopsis: you were late to work when you got stopped
wc: 400+ (this is so short i’m sorry)
note: Sorry this took me a million years to get to
── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──
You cursed yourself as you quickly got into your car and tried to make it to work on time, it hadn't even been a month since your new job and the last thing you wanted was to be labeled as the late dispatcher. You were 5 minutes away from work when suddenly you heard a siren and lights behind you– you gritted your teeth realizing you’d been pulled over. “Really?” you said exasperated as you turned on your hazard lights and pulled over putting your car in park.
You got out your badge and waited for the police officer to make their way to your car, you looked to your left and saw a handsome younger than you excepted blonde cop. You rolled down your window, “Hi ma’am” you heard him speak. You scanned him and saw his name on his vest– ‘Kennedy’ It read, “Hi Officer Kennedy” You faked a smile, “I pulled you over because you were over the speed limit” You furrowed your brows, you weren't aware you were probably because you were so caught up in your thoughts.
“Oh I was unaware sorry,” you said and the officer chuckled, “Can I see some ID?” he smiled. You smirked a little and handed the ID that showed you were a police dispatcher, you wanted to see his face when he saw you both work with eachother and you waited smugly for him to go to his car and run it through the system before he came back. “I didn’t know you are a dispatcher”, He said scratching his neck “Yea, sorry I was running late and must have not been paying attention, sir” You said feigning an apology.
He smiled and handed back your ID “No worries, sorry to have wasted your time, You’re free to go,” he said looking a little ashamed. You couldn't help but feel a little bad for messing with him so you thought of a way to make it up to him, “What’s your first name Mr. Kennedy?” you smiled. “Leon,” he said a little confused, “Well Mr. Leon maybe you can make up for wasting my time by grabbing some coffee with me sometime this week”
His face went red and he looked around nervously, “Well uh that um, sounds uh…nice” you chuckled and leaned to him “perfect, well since we both work at the same place you’ll know where to find me” you smiled before Leon nodded blushing and walked back to his car still in disbelief as you drove off smiling like an idiot.
kkir fic idea 💡 might write it or someone else can adopt this and run with it
i work at an australian magistrate court as a paralegal and kkir (my ninja dads) remind me of the police prosecution vs defence lawyer negotiation throwdowns. kakashi is literally all the weird and eccentric lawyer i've ever met (you need to be weird to be sane) and iruka just acts like all the other very nice but firm prosecutors at court to me
imagine hotshot perpetually late but so so brilliant defence barrister kakashi (mr hatake) negotiating a better outcome for his clients. he's always laid back because he knows he's that good, dresses in the same suit every time, gets away with wearing a facemask in court and literally only ever fixes his terrible posture at the bar table and whilst in court. he tried to ask the magistrate to let him salute the coat of arms (instead of bowing like everyone else) when he first got transferred down to the lowly magistrates' court but got promptly shot down (the compromise was the mask). he was working as a top queen's counsel for the private city law firm then got mysteriously transferred to their regional branch in a 'mentoring role' (a bunch of graduated law students interning actually quit their postgrad studies because he was really harsh and had really arbitrary rules tbh). so my man's in a bad mood ALL THE TIME (literally unprovoked) and has no personal assigned paralegals because no one can stand him. his assigned clerk has the patience of a saint and the tolerance for no bullshit (it's rin) he makes outrageous plea offers with prosecution and it's the best/worst time down at court. he also cross examines like the person at the mic personally wronged him, which isn't great if it is a protected person in a family violence case, or any witness at all, but very eye opening to see
down at court you have the sweetest man ever sergeant umino ('please call me iruka') in the dog box(what we call the prosecution office). he has a law degree (admittedly from a nowhere regional university but he is admitted to practice as a legal practitioner) and way too overqualified for the police force, but he wants to make a difference before going to teach full time or practising law full time. he's nice about everything (printers, legal advice, referrals, talking to anyone) except for paperwork which he is anal about. he wields stamps like weapons and every time an informant is shown to have filled out their paperwork wrong he calls them up directly (how does he even have their direct line?) to chew them out, but super nicely. adjournments, unmentionable dates, requests - don't need to provide reasons, iruka will approve. he not-so-secretly made copies of his police badge so paralegals can print documents off the police printers. he always gets snacks and coffees for court registrars and referral officers. he has bags of lollies for little kids. iruka teaches community service and justice studies for the vocational college nearby. he also has the occasional stint as a university lecturer only for first year law kiddies, and teaches also senior high school legal studies electives. beyond stamps and paperwork, he is the law down to the letter, sometimes to the spirit. if the facts look bad, especially if it is family violence or egregious failure to appear/warrants then he would be a hardass to lawyers. my man however is not opposed to diversion especially if the accused are kids.
so like fanon, kakashi brings outrageous plea offers to the dog box whenever iruka is in -- 'can you withdraw [most serious charge]' 'you can't prove that she was fearing for her life' 'he's never had a criminal record so can't you give him a slap on the wrist and send him a bond?' iruka shuts that shit down every time. he has a case of bleeding heart-itis so occasionally they CAN collaborate to help truly at risk offenders to reorient their lives. kakashi complains that iruka agreeing without a yelling match feels worthless but deep down he doesn't mind when iruka isn't in full hate mode AT him. kakashi thought that iruka would be all snobbish because police prosecutors who hold law degrees tend to act like they're better than everyone else but iruka is overall down-to-earth, hi-i'm-here-to-help. can't push him around though, but he's all about the learning experience so he encourages postgrad law kids and volunteers to have a go at him. for the real thing, defence lawyers groan good-naturedly when they hear he's in the dog box. kakashi seems to be the only who delights in riling him up, but in the rare instance that everyone agrees BUT the magistrate says otherwise and hands down a harsher sentence, he would be handing up paperwork for a contest hearing SO FAST kakashi wouldn't have time to consult with the client. there's a deal between him and kakashi for a stack of signs form 11As can be dealt out when absolutely needed. despite going at each other's throats on the clock, sooo many people have seen them getting lunch together or just talking about their mutual student naruto.
in this universe naruto did not complete high school, went through to vocational studies, took a pathway to uni instead. somehow he, sakura and sasuke end up at the same law firm (naruto is a bit older than the other two but acts precisely like a teenage eshay ALL THE TIME). why does he want to practise criminal law? because it looks cool and he wants to make the bar. his mum is a judge and his dad is a speaker of the senate/cabinet member so... it runs in the family. sasuke is following alongside the traditional asian career choice: doctor, lawyer or engineer. my man hates maths with a passion so lawyer it is. i know it's weird that sakura would be doing a law degree knowing she could be doing a med degree but hear me out: i met and know and am friends with girls who studied double degree law/biomed, finish their law degree, said fuck it I'll be a lawyer what's so bad, otherwise i can come back, and now making big massive bucks. though i imagine sakura will specialise in personal injury cases as well as mental health tribunals, then might go back to university for her med degree. she will be that cousin who lived 6 lives already - was a doctor and a lawyer and your mother would not stop comparing you to her. she needs a bit of instinct training but her academics are spotless. sasuke is ruthless but can't connect with clients. naruto maybe brash and loud but he plays on people's heartstrings like a conductor when presenting a bail app or plea. everything is the way it is so that iruka can move naruto's admission to become a lawyer when he applies for admission at the supreme court
anyways iruka will retire from police work to teach full time, maybe sign on to work for a community legal centre to appear for bail apps for remanded offenders picked up in the cells. he accidentally yelled at kakashi one day to go out and kakashi thought it was too funny to not go along with. now they raise 8 dogs, 3 full grown adults and all of iruka's students together. they fight about everything, but might slip into really formal legalese (passover aggressive fuck-you) when they're being annoying or really pissed off. naruto sometimes has to adjudicate these fights and he can't stop being scared for his LIFE.
kakashi: your honour, my learned colleague here had erred in his submission that i had, conclusively, not promised such things
iruka immediately pulling out receipts: your honour, may i submit evidence contradicting otherwise
(they were fighting about whose turn it is to do the dishes. there were only oral agreements in place but once you're both lawyers you just get used to writing everything down and signing to bring up in an argument later)
(iruka also cross examines kakashi for funsies, but they mainly shelf this for when arguments are bad and they need to pull out the big guns)
anyways if anyone ends up writing this please tag me
Bonus Track #2: One Last Hunt
“Okay, try not to panic,” Sam said. Dean had him on the phone while he sped through town in the Impala.
“I’m coming now, but I won’t get there for a few hours,” Sam said. “My flight leaves in 20 minutes.”
“Thanks, man, but I can’t afford to wait,” Dean said. “She fucking disappeared. I don’t see her anywhere…I’m gonna have to start at her job. That’s where she first took off from.”
“How did she seem this morning?”
“Fine, I guess. I left before she woke up,” Dean said. He still felt guilty about the fact that he didn’t bother waking you up to say goodbye.
“Okay, yeah, start at the museum,” Sam said. “Let me know what you find, and I’d loop in Bobby. Probably Jack too.”
“Bobby’s meeting me there…but we don’t need to bring in Jack yet.”
“Dean, he’s her dad—”
“This isn’t his thing. It’s ours,” Dean said firmly. “If it’s a demon, I’m gonna find her and exorcize that son of a bitch.”
Sure enough, Bobby met Dean at the museum where you worked. The old man was worried, Dean could tell, even if he wouldn’t say it. But he knew the drill: now they had a job to do.
“I’ll go in first, flash my badge,” Dean said. “Meet me in the library.”
“Roger that,” Bobby agreed.
Dean had a decent rapport with your boss, Jerry. When he explained that you were actually missing, Jerry was concerned for your wellbeing instead of irate that you’d taken a very valuable book from the museum.
It gave Dean a theory to lie about on the fly: that you’d been mugged and taken hostage, presumably by someone who might’ve wanted to steal the ancient text.
“How ancient are we talking exactly?” Dean asked.
Jerry gave him a look. “Ancient Egypt.”
He showed you the inventory log on the new shipment you were supposed to compile into the system. The title missing from the rest was called The Eye of Ra.
“All right. Thanks, Jerry,” Dean said. “Anything else you can tell me about this book?”
“It’s a recording of the great deeds of the Ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses,” Jerry explained. “It was said to be touched by Ra himself.”
Touched by Ra, Dean mused. Ain’t that just fucking swell.
Whatever happened to you, Dean knew it was because you touched that book.
Tumblr media
For the next few hours, Dean and Bobby worked together on deeper research in the library. Now that they had a starting point, Bobby was able to find some intel.
“The Eye of Ra was actually a nickname,” he said, earning Dean’s attention. “For Sekhmet, their goddess of war.”
Dean’s brows furrowed at that. “Why’s it never the goddess of peace and fucking tranquility?”
“Among other things, she was the daughter of Ra,” Bobby said, raising a wry brow. “And she was known as the bringer of plagues and death…and sometimes healing. Go figure.”
Fucking hell, Dean thought sourly. This was getting worse by the minute.
“Okay, what does this have to do with the book?” he asked. Though he had some idea.
“Well, she ain’t been alive in a millennium. But she had a husband. The god Ptah, a craftsman,” Bobby said. “According to this, when he was eventually killed, she sealed her soul away until she could find a way to rescue him from the underworld…I’ve gotta think she sealed it in that book.”
Dean sighed, rubbing the now aching spot between his brows. An ancient Egyptian goddess was most likely possessing his fiancé.
And it was much worse than it sounded on paper.
“Okay, which means she’ll be looking for a way to bring back her husband,” he said. “So how do we find her?”
Just then, the police radio buckled to Dean’s belt sounded off. When he listened closely, his eyes grew wide. It was a report of five murders committed at a nearby gas station.
Tumblr media
Dean pulled up to the local 7-Eleven. Bobby was on the way, but he’d been caught up in traffic while Dean was allowed to use his police siren to his advantage.
He then used his badge clearance to get behind the yellow tape and over to Jack, who was still on duty.
Dean stepped inside the gas station and surveyed the brutal scene: the nice old man who owned the place, plus four patrons were lying dead.
Their skin was covered with boils.
Jack wore a disconcerted frown along with his crossed arms in his police jacket.
“It’s almost…biblical,” he remarked.
Dean knew just how right he was. Jack seemed to know that too when he glanced over.
“Is this your kind of thing?” he asked.
Dean nodded. “I might know what’s going on here. Let’s check the security footage…but no one else can see it but you and me.”
Jack nodded, leading Dean to the back of the store. Jack was shocked by what he found in the footage. Dean watched grimly, but not surprised as you came into the frame. You tilted your head at the owner, who seemed to ask you something.
You raised a hand, and with a flare of magic, everyone in the station was cowering and screaming as a plague of boils covered their bodies, and eventually ended their lives.
“Christ,” Jack gasped. “What the hell—”
“It’s not her,” Dean told him. “She’s being possessed. I’ll handle this, Jack. Just make sure this footage gets buried, along with whatever prints she might’ve left behind.”
Jack barely had time to agree. As if that kind of thing was so easy. He called after Dean as he took off out of the station.
Dean didn’t see Bobby yet when he got outside, but he didn’t have time to wait.
However, he did spot someone familiar hanging out in front of the department store across the street. Dean jogged across and raised a hand to flag down Jessie Deluca.
The kid was gnawing on what looked like a melting Butterfinger. He groaned in annoyance when he saw Dean coming.
“Not you again,” he muttered.
“Yeah, me again,” Dean said. “You been standing out here long?”
“Look, grandpa. I’m just chillin’ here,” the kid sassed. It sparked Dean’s irritation, as well as his impatience.
“I don’t give two shits if you’re contemplating the great Butterfinger Heist of 2008, all right?” Dean pointed back to the gas station. “You see that?”
Jessie’s expression faded from some of its assholeness, becoming more solemn. “Yeah, I heard someone died or something.”
“That’s right,” Dean nodded. “Did you see anyone walk out of the station?”
“No,” Jessie said. But Dean could tell it was a reflex, not the truth.
“Listen, Jessie. I need your help,” he said, more earnestly. “I’m trying to find someone. So if you know anything, I need you to tell me right now. Please.”
Dean stared down in the kid’s brown eyes. Eventually, Jessie relented.
“When I came out of the store here, I saw some business lady walk out. I think, after it had all just gone down,” Jessie confessed. “She looked fine.”
Dean sighed and nodded. “Okay. What’d she look like?”
“Uh…black skirt. Great legs,” Jessie said, his lips curving a little. Dean raised a brow.
“Anything else?” he asked wryly.
“White blouse, heels…actually, she kinda looked familiar,” Jessie added as he thought harder about it.
“Good. Now tell me what direction she went in,” Dean said. Jessie nodded and pointed him down the street.
“I think she went down there. I saw her turn the corner.”
“Where? What street?”
“Dude, I don’t know!”
“Then show me,” Dean insisted. He grabbed Jessie by the shoulder and guided him forward. The kid looked annoyed, but he begrudgingly agreed to lead him down the street. The two of them walked brusquely, with Jessie trying to match Dean’s longer strides.
Dean glanced over at his companion, who was still working on his Butterfinger.
“When’s the last time you ate something that wasn’t covered in chocolate?” he asked. Jessie didn’t look at him when he shrugged. His winter jacket hung off his skinny shoulders, making him look ten rather than thirteen. Dean’s heart twinged.
“Listen, next time you’re itching to knock over a department store for KitKats, come by the station,” Dean said. “Find me or my partner Jody Mills. Or even my boss, Jack. We’ll get you a burger or something.”
Jessie briefly looked up at him, but all too soon, his gaze returned to the ground.
“What do you care?” he said.
“Maybe I know something about having to fend for yourself,” said Dean. “Sometimes going hungry, not knowing when somebody’s gonna come back for you.”
Jessie’s jaw clenched. He didn’t answer, but Dean hoped he’d gotten through to him.
Jessie led him around the corner at the street he thought he saw you turn down. He and Dean didn’t have to walk too much farther before he found you through the window of a bakery, of all things.
“What the hell?” Dean muttered.
He pulled Jessie to the wall by the window for safety, but both of them snuck a peek inside.
You were once again wielding magic to spread a plague of boils across an entire room of screaming, agonized patrons just trying to get their donuts and cream pies.
Jessie started to utter a cry of alarm, but Dean quickly covered the kid’s mouth with his hand and pulled him back to his side. Dean waited, stock still, until the screaming inside the bakery subsided.
He looked down at Jessie and raised a finger to his lips. Though he was scared, Jessie nodded. Dean led him around the corner into an alley beside the bakery.
“What…the fuck was that?” Jessie hissed.
“Keep your voice down,” Dean warned.
Then suddenly, it donned on the kid as he looked up at Dean. “Oh, shit. That’s your freakin’ girlfriend.”
Dean let out a sharp sigh. “It’s not her…exactly.”
He knew Jessie didn’t understand. Dean sighed again and grasped Jessie’s shoulders.
“Look, you’re right to be scared. There’s something evil in there…that’s why I’ve gotta save her,” he said. “Now you, you’re gonna run. And don’t look back until you’re home, got it?”
After a moment, Jessie nodded shakily. Dean nodded back, patting him firmly on his shoulders.
“Good man,” he said. “Okay, scram.”
Jessie seemed reluctant, like he felt some type of way about leaving Dean behind. But at Dean’s encouraging look, Jessie took off running. Dean hoped he headed straight home.
Then, rolling his shoulders, Dean braced himself. He drew his gun, which was filled with silver bullets. He didn’t think it would work on an Egyptian goddess, nor did he want to pull a gun on you. But for the threat of it alone, he would have to draw it with the safety on.
He entered the bakery, where you were perusing the selections with a dispassionate look. All around you was death.
But you perked up when Dean entered, eyeing him curiously in recognition.
“Feelin’ a snack?” he asked.
“I have been asleep for a very long time,” you replied, holding up a pastry. “What is this confection?”
“Cherry Danish,” Dean supplied. “You’re Sekhmet, right?”
Your lips twitched. “You know of me?”
“I do now,” he said, carefully stepping further into the bakery with his gun pointed down, avoiding stepping on the bodies. He noticed the book you left closed on the counter. The goddess saw him noticing. Her gaze cut to him in amusement.
“Why’d you kill these people?” Dean asked. “Didn’t bow down at the right angle?”
“Among all of my brothers and sisters, I alone was favored by my father,” she said, “because my job was to balance the world, between life and the afterlife.”
Sekhmet brushed her fingers against a glass case, and with a small spark of magic, the glass cracked into thousands of fractals, but didn’t shatter.
“And I did exceedingly well at this,” she said. “Though I see that my work has been undone. This world is rife with imbalance.”
“Mass genocide. Nice,” Dean quipped. “But that’s not all you want, is it?”
Sekhmet’s head tilted at him with reluctant interest.
“I heard you’re looking for your husband, who went an offed himself,” he added.
The goddess’s lips pursed and she slapped a hand on the glass counter, making it shatter. Dean turned and shielded his eyes with his arm. By the time he recovered, Sekhmet was coming around the counter. He took a few cautious steps in the opposite direction.
“My husband was unjustly slain by the very people who once worshipped us in droves,” she said, her tone exacting and harsh. Her eyes, however, were heavy with fury and pain.
“He was an artist. A creator in purest form…his talents were wasted on this abomination of a world,” she said, with disgust at her surroundings. But as soon as her anger came, it diffused into exasperation.
She picked up a glazed donut and took a bite, crossing her arms. She hummed in delight, making Dean’s brows raise.
“Well, I can help you find him,” Dean said. It was a bluff, to be sure, but it still earned Sekhmet’s attention.
“Can you?” she asked in amusement. She didn’t believe him. Yet. But she drew closer to Dean, tilting her head just so. All the while, Dean inched towards the far end of the counter where The Eye of Ra had fallen to the ground.
“And after, you let my girl go,” he said.
“You know of a way to reach the Underworld?” Sekhmet’s gaze roamed over him in disdain. “Unlikely.”
“Well, I’d call it a gate to Hell. But same difference, right?” Dean quipped.
The second he tried to reach down for the book, however, Sekhmet pinned him in place with a vibrant amber coil of magic. Dean grunted as she forced him to the ground, onto his knees between the bodies of a young man and woman, likely a couple.
The goddess stopped in front of him, looking down at his face with interest.
“Dean Winchester, as you are called. I understand why you continue to display such reckless judgment, all but throwing your very life at my feet,” she said. Her lips curved knowingly. “I hold your lover, correct?”
She harshly grabbed his cheek in her hand, and Dean glared in response. She seemed to ponder something as she considered him.
“Soon to be your wife,” she realized.
And Dean had a feeling she was in your head, sorting through your thoughts and memories like any demon would. He didn’t know what was worse: the thought of you being awake in there, unable to fight this bitch’s hold, or if Sekhmet had completely taken over your body and shut you away.
“Just let her go,” Dean said, almost pleading. “You can have me. I won’t even fight you.”
“Such self-sacrifice,” she said. “The only noble act humans are capable of.”
Before she could decide whether to kill him, or keep him for further amusement, the front door of the bakery swung open.
Bobby came in first, followed closely by Sam and Eileen.
Bobby was holding a damn crossbow, which he aimed and shot off at Sekhmet. It was a warning shot, just grazing her shoulder. But it burned her with a sting of flesh that made her hiss in pain. She glared up at Bobby, and after grabbing the book before Sam could, she disappeared in a whirlwind of magic.
The coil holding Dean in place shattered, allowing Dean to catch his break and get to his feet, with Sam’s help. Dean had to admit, it was good to see his brother.
“You okay?” Sam asked. Dean reached over and pat the other man’s shoulder.
“I’m good,” he said, though with a sigh that belied his weariness. “Hey, Eileen. Thanks for making it to the party.”
The pretty brunette offered him a sympathetic smile, rubbing his arm. “We came as soon as we could.”
Dean nodded and turned to Bobby, who still held his crossbow. He wasn’t happy about the old man shooting at you, but he recognized that it had saved his life.
“Why’d that thing hurt her?” he asked.
“The arrow’s dipped in a potent mix of salt from the Dead Sea…and Egyptian wine, among other things,” Bobby replied.
Dean frowned in confusion. “Why the fuck?”
“According to the lore, Sekhmet could be subdued with alcohol,” Sam explained.
“Great, we’ll just get her drunk and all our problems will be solved,” Dean quipped dryly. He grabbed the radio from his belt. His gaze returned to the dead bodies on the floor with dismay.
“I’ve gotta call this in. Bobby, get the security tapes.”
After Dean finished calling in the deaths to his precinct, he shared a disheartened look with Sam, who grasped his shoulder in support.
“We’re gonna find her, all right?”
They regrouped at Bobby’s house once Jack took over at the bakery. Now the three men and Eileen were congregated in the living room, trying to decide on their next move.
“You told her about the Hell gate?!” Sam said incredulously.
“Damn it, Dean!” Bobby slapped the coffee table in exasperation.
“All right, lay off! I was improvising under fucking duress,” Dean snapped. “At least we know where she’ll probably go next, assuming she finds out where the gate is.”
“She’s a goddess, Dean. One of the oldest and most powerful in ancient history. I’m sure she can figure it out,” Sam said, rubbing at his tired eyes.
And, as Dean remembered, Sekhmet was rooting around in your head. She’d find the gate for sure.
Eileen looked between the brothers, clearly worried. Sam had told her about what you, him, and Dean had gone through to close that damn gate to Hell last year.
“So how do we stop her?” Dean asked. Without hurting you, was implicit. Bobby heaved a sigh.
“We gotta burn that damn book,” Bobby said. “But we’ll need to be smart about it.”
So that was how the four of them ended up driving to southern Wyoming. They stopped along the crossroads by the train tracks, and ventured in on foot into the very clearing where their final battle against Yellow Eyes took place.
Dean thought he’d be able to put his past behind him, but the universe clearly liked to kick him in the balls.
Evidence of this came when he saw you standing at Samuel Colt’s gravestone. Or rather, the goddess Sekhmet.
She was expending large forces of magic to try and open up the gate to Hell. The book that bound her soul lied on top of a nearby headstone.
Dean gestured for Sam, Eileen, and Bobby to hang back and fan out, while he stalked forward. He’d changed out of his police uniform in favor of his familiar jeans, shirt, and a red plaid shirt, hoping that at least would help you focus on him, wherever you were deep inside your mind.
But he called out to Sekhmet from a (relatively) safe distance away.
“Are you stupid or something?” he mocked.
Sekhmet paused in her magic wielding. She craned her head over her shoulder at him in annoyance, with amber rings illuminating her eyes.
“There’s only one thing that can open up that gate, and I’ve got it right here,” said Dean.
He pulled out the Colt from behind his back.
Sekhmet’s gaze narrowed on the gun, then at Dean with a slow smirk.
“Why, by the gods, should I trust your foolishness?” she asked.
“Because we’re about to make a trade,” Dean said. “The gun for my girl. You let her go, or you’ll never see your husband again. In this world, or the next.”
Dean pointed the gun at her and cocked the safety back. She didn’t have to know the barrel was empty.
“You cannot harm me, even if there was ammunition in that weapon,” Sekhmet replied knowingly.
She turned to him and reached out with a magic-fueled hand, but before she could grab Dean, Sam shot his own gun.
It deployed a net of rope that twined around her frame and held her in place. It was soaked with the same concoction Bobby shot her with in the bakery, and it made her fume with outrage.
It didn’t completely weaken her though. Her hands were still free to fling Sam and Bobby away from her with magic.
She then turned to grip Eileen, who was nearly able to steal the book. And the goddess sent Eileen across the clearing, breaking a headstone as she fell.
Sam had been trying to pick himself up from the ground, but he gripped at his chest, feeling his soulmate’s pain. He scrambled over to her prone form on the ground and checked the cut along her hairline.
“Eileen,” Sam called, pressing his hand to her cheek. He had one eye on her, and another on his brother.
Because meanwhile, Sekhmet had broken free of the ropes holding her captive with a cry of fury.
Just in time to grab Dean by the throat when he tried to surprise her from behind. She forced him down to his knees and smirked in satisfaction as Dean struggled against her hold.
He called your name, trying to reach you through the goddess’s hold on your mind.
“She is gone from this world,” Sekhmet taunted. “This is but a vessel for my eternal soul.”
“I don’t fucking believe that,” Dean choked. “If she was gone, I’d know it. Deep in my bones I’d know it.”
Her mouth twitched, but she seemed to enjoy the idea of slowly choking him to death. Or maybe, something was holding her back. Dean could only hope it was you, trying to break through.
He looked into your eyes and tried to find you through the cold disdain of a goddess.
“Whatever happens, I’m not letting go,” he gritted out. He held tight to your wrist, on the hand wrapped around his throat.
“I love you, you know that?” he said. “From the start…you closed the door in my face when I tried to kiss you. Teased me. Never took my shit. But you never left me either. No matter how hard it fucking got, you kept my feet on the ground. You never called it quits…‘cause we never say goodbye. Right, baby?”
Slowly, slowly, Sekhmet’s hard exterior faded. The amber rings of magic receded from your eyes, and the woman he loved was there again, softening your face into shock and horror.
You released your grip on Dean. He stumbled to the ground as he coughed and gasped for precious oxygen.
He straightened enough to grab your hand. You reached out for him instinctively.
“Dean,” you said with shaking effort.
“I’ve gotcha, sweetheart,” he said. He turned back to see his brother helping Eileen to her feet. “Sam, the damn book!”
Sam snapped to attention and quickly looked for The Eye of Ra. It had been knocked over from the headstone onto the ground. He grabbed it and fished out a lighter from his pocket.
Dean’s attention turned back to you when you squeezed his hands.
“I can’t hold her for long,” you said tremulously. Your whole body was shaking. “She’s so damn strong…”
“It’s okay, we’re gonna fix this,” Dean said, brushing your hair back from your face.
You closed your eyes and gasped. But when you opened them once again, they were hard, and glowing with magic.
Sekhmet tossed Sam away from the headstone.
Dean tried to hold her back, but she backhanded him hard. Sekhmet followed where he fell. She reached out and gripped him by the neck again, this time choking him with a vengeance.
But then she gasped, as if in pain. She turned her head and found Sam with the book in one hand, and a lit match in the other. As the book started to burn, Sekhmet weakened.
Dean caught her before your body could hit the ground.
Sekhmet released a shaking breath; she gazed into the dimming sky, painted in its golden, amber hues, and knew that her soul was dying. Hot tears slipped down her cheeks.
Dean almost felt sorry for her. Or maybe it was the sight of your pained, weeping face that tugged at his heartstrings.
“You’ll just have to join your husband this time,” he said.
Sekhmet’s lips trembled, but she nodded. “This world was never made for us…but we shall soon be together for all eternity.”
She looked up at him with a rueful smile.
“You understand,” she said. “A soul bond can never be destroyed.”
And with that, the haze of magic drained from your eyes as your body went limp.
Dean’s brows furrowed with worry as he called your name. Behind him, Sam helped Eileen draw near with a limping Bobby. All three watched with worry at Dean’s side…until your eyes opened, revealing their natural hue.
You took in a tremulous breath. “Dean.”
His eyes burned with emotion, but he closed them as he held you tight. All he could do was press his lips against your forehead in relief.
You clung to him right back, for as long as you needed to.
AN: Fun fact — According to Egyptian mythology, the only thing that could stop the goddess Sekhmet from ending humanity with bloodshed was by getting her drunk on beer, which had been dyed red to simulate blood (which she also liked to drink, apparently).
Egyptians (the survivors) would drink beer mixed with pomegranate juice and get drunk to celebrate not being killed dead. (Woo!)
Anyway, let me know if you enjoyed Part 2! All the fluff is coming in the finale of Part 3, very soon…
Next Time:
Dean brings you home. The two of you figure out how to move on from here...
