Sometimes I love talking with my girlfriend for the sheer reason of we're completely different in every way

She had a rather wealthy, and happy up bring, not much trauma, nothing that really stuck out as bad in her childhood, 4.0 GPA student, has her entire life planned out, and has the entire time I've known her, focused on what's good for her, goes out of the house, rather calm, and smart beyond belief

I had a very poor, and shitty childhood. Most of my childhood years were me spent in a constant state of terror, I've always had almost all fs, I have no clue what I'm going to do with my life, I don't care if something is bad for me, cuz I know I've survived worse, I never leave the house, I'm buzzing with energy at all times, and I don't think beyond the present

And what makes this so funny, is me and her often have conversations like "Yeah no, my family kinda just, let me, drink energy drinks when I was ten, they even supplied one, or more, everyday almost 6 months!!" "Oh my God, what the actual fuck is wrong with your family-"

I've never read Leopardstar's honor, what did Frogleap do?

I briefly ranted here about him, but:

Frogleap himself is not any worse than a lot of male characters in Warriors. But I was having a bad week and not in the mood for misogyny and this bitch got into my line of reading.

In a vacuum all he did was say he didn't think he and Leopardfur's relationship would work out and he wanted someone who was less busy and could put more time in the relationship. In context of a number of things that was happening when I read Leopardstar's Honor and Warriors' history of sexism I would offer a bounty to anyone who brought me his head on a stick.

I hate Frogleap.

#is my hatred for him mostly nonsensically emotional especially in comparison to a lot of worse male characters? Yes.#do I care? No.#Frogleap is up there with Bramblestar. Crowfeather. 4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?

Ohhh with fic, most of my ideas are usually something I think canon didn't explore enough or something I wish had happened or a character I think deserved more attention. Just whatever canon didn't totally satisfy for me.

Other than that, I think it just comes randomly from all over. Hate to admit it, but they were onto something with that "take a break from your writing/art/whatever when you're feeling frustrated and struggling with ideas" thing XD Annoyingly, ill think of a lot of things in bed and will keep having to roll over to get my phone out to write it down (you WILL NOT just remember it when you wake up)

Also would 100% recommend embracing your cringy teenage self and creating AMVS of your favorite characters in your head, lmao. sometimes you just gotta sit there and imagine it

13. what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

Just use "said" for dialogue and the character's name or pronouns when you're referring to them most of the time. Otherwise it's distracting. There’s definitely a time for switching it up, of course! Just, it can also be over done too.

Also idk how this one was worded exactly, but that your characters will, a lot of the time, not say what they ACTUALLY feel or think. It's gotta filter their their own insecurities and their preconceived notions and social etiquette and whatever else is going on, and it's gonna come out quite different than what their true feelings are, if they're even aware of them.

56. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

asfjasf okay that one is hard. i would NOT say i am the most confident writer and don't often think about that. characterization, perhaps? I do always appreciate it when someone comments that i got a character right or convinced them of something about them
