and just in general.. leave people comments. leave them asks about their projects. just go over and gush about their work. i know it sounds embarrassing but writers love nothing more than to hear that someone likes what they are doing. if you find a fic that hasnt been updated in forever, comment on it. it might just be the spark the author needs to continue. while kudos and likes are nice, and just as valuable to some, its definitely in the words the people leave for them that matter the most. im not saying this to put pressure on anyone, its just how it is, and i feel like unless people are writers themselves, and even then sometimes, thats just hard to grasp, especially if the writer is a smaller and less popular one who doesnt get a lot of traffic in the first place

mime: the nicest to her out of everyone. when she was new to town, she didn’t fit in with anyone and was seen as an outcast. mime being mime walked up to her and started entertaining her. he likes to see her smile! sure, he’s a little hesitant since she keeps on trying to steal his antlers, but he eventually gets over it and develops mutual feelings for her. he knows she likes him, ALOT.

lammy: surprisingly enough, i think she’d really like bones. she seems like the “nicest” out of the bunch, and likes the fact that bones is obsessed with bones as much as she is obsessed with mr.pickles. they chat constantly about random things. shes that type of girl who brings her at a party when she was “not invited cuz shes weird”. lol

sniffles: actually has a decent relationship with her. she loves him to death and loves to come uninvited to his house. constantly gets turned down when begging for a “findingbones-inator3000” as she puts it. sniffles likes her company, no one knows why.

cub: he loves everyone lol. he thinks shes funny ^.^

NEUTRAL:

disco bear: i mean, shes a girl… so he obviously likes her. he tried to flirt w her, but it flew over her head. at first he thought she was playing hard to get, but he quickly realized she was a nutcase. he’s weirded out by her constant mood swings, and doesn’t know what she sees in mime (he’s jealous he cant pull her 🙄)

flippy: he doesn’t rlly mind her, he tries to be friendly but she ALWAYS ticks him off by being too loud and energetic. has flipped out a couple of times due to her.

cuddles: doesnt mind her either.

flaky: startled by how hyper she is, she believes she will cause a major accident, so she avoids her at all times. She only hangs out with bones IF there are more people around.

splendid: finds her very strange. since he’s dealt with weird people in the past, shes not too much trouble for him.

lumpy: he occasionally says hi to her, but more than not just keeps to himself whenever he’s around bones. has definitely killed her at least 5 times.

toothy: doesn’t care for her in the slightest. thinks shes a weirdo.

mole: does he even like anyone? well, anyways, he doesn’t mind her. he makes sure to keep his distance though..

nutty: it sucks bc he was super happy to find someone who matched his energy and was obsessed with something as he was, but since shes a little cray cray she starts chasing him whenever he’s around since… yknoww… dogs chase squirrels.

DISLIKE:

giggles: doesnt like her. she tried to be friends w her but when giggles broke her leg one day she tried to rip out her bone.. ya

handy: sometimes interrupts him when he’s building smth, he’s just so done with her lmao.

petunia: same as giggles. she gets anxious over how messy she can be and act so she definitely hates to be around her.

russell: seriously doesn’t appreciate it when she goes through his garbage looking for bones and remains. when bones ate a fish bone, she got an allergic reaction and started going crazy, attacking russell and shit. sooo, yeah. he doesn’t like her.

So how exactly does everything work?, do the toys have to eat?, does it kinda work like toy story?, for example, the toys could be doin something and someones like “hey andys comin” and then everybody just goes limp, or do the toys have theyre own domain where they exist, or is it kind of like that one tayo the bus movie (i forgor his name T-T), like the humans that own the toys somehow throw them away or lose them some how and they end up in a world with other lost toys like them, what are each of the questers roles?, are there any legos? I’ll answer a couple from each. You’re welcome to re-ask any that I dont answer if you’d like.

Asylum:

If you were to list off mental illnesses from Cups what would they be?

- Cup doesnt exactly have a mental illness. Moreover the demon blood incident took a harder toll against him and he has a way harder time coping and adjusting to it. The main things being he’s a lot more emotionally volatile and unstable. He’s generally in his right mind from day to day. Just if you get him angry and upset he’s quicker to go into a rampage and those rampages last long. And in general he’s WAAAYYYYYY moodier.

Does Cuphead have medications he takes just to stay sane?

- No medications as of yet. If he WERE then maybe anti-depressants or something to treat anxiety. To help with mood swings and regulating his emotions a bit. But those didn’t exist in the 1920s. They were introduced in the medical field in the 50s. And even then, back in the 20s they didn’t have a good understanding of mental illness. Literally people were put in asylums for having ADHD. So. No. No medications. Or official clinical “treatment” outside of what Flug, Hat, and the Devil did to help.

Lost Toys:

So how does everything exactly work? . . . Does it kinda work like Toy Story?

- Pretty much the thing you said “That one Tayo the bus movie”. You know those stories parent’s tell their children when a pet dies? That they went to a farm or something or a better place to make the child feel better? A way for them to cope? That’s a similar idea that I’m going for. The AU is in a child’s imagination. And it’s their favorite toys going to a magical forest where other lost or forgotten toys go to live in the woods together.

What type of toys have their faces painted?

- Cuphead, mugman, Cala, boris, bendy, holly, and Alice have painted on faces. In a sense.

Angel Blood:

What was Mugman like during the tainted love of bacon chapter?

- Well leading up to the love spell mugs wasnt reacting all that well to the experiments. Trying not to get sick and probably had to sit back a few times. So either he wasn’t there for the love spell or he was still under its effect but didn’t care enough to notice the emotions going on around him. Though it was definitely a LOT. Afterwards tho he’d feel very VERY sick.

What are Cuphead’s coping mechanisms for seeing in the future? If he sees something important, does he write it down?

- He keeps a ‘dream journal’ of sorts in his pocket. He doesnt always write every vision he gets but ones that feel important to him or significant he notes down.

Ghost:

In human form could Cuphead potentially survive out there?

- He couldn’t survive in human form out in space. He’d die of suffocation and prolly extreme temperatures and whatever other stardust is out there

Does Cuphead need food?

- Yes He needs food for energy to sustain his body and soul. Even if he were to stay in his ghost form he’d still loose energy and eventually die.

Mermaid:

- So, a bit on the world building:

Short answer: both.

Long answer: the questers live a nomadic lifestyle (no permanent housing, a lot of traveling, etc) Living that kind of lifestyle is very normal for young adult merfolk. Once they get older they leave their families and go off on their own. Start their own pods, explore the world, and figure themselves out. It’s waaayyy more dangerous that way, especially for lone travelers and children. Which is why they usually stick together in groups. From there when they start their own families or get on in their years some decidedly settle down in more permanent housing. And some stay on the nomadic lifestyle. It’s up to preference.

But there are merman civilizations that exist. Most popular being the lost city of Atlantis. It used to be a kingdom on the surface before it fell into the sea. The humans inhabiting it all died out and merfolks moved in. Fixing it up and making it their own. The lost city is now the equivalent to a large city and it’s highly populated by merpeople.

What kind of fish are they based on?

- Ok. Cuphead is a Lionfish, Mugman is a Blue African Peacock Cichlid or and Electric Blue Hap (I can’t tell the difference. They might be the same things I’m not sure), Bendy is a sea monster, his design is based off of the Pixar movie Luca, Boris is a Great White Shark, Felix is a Black Axolotl, Holly is a Yellow Seahorse, and Alice is a White Opal Betta!

I’ll answer a 3rd cuz im obsessed with merman atm

How far away from the mainland do the questers live?

- It varies. But they usually stick kinda close to the mainland rather than far out in the open like most merfolk. They hang out especially along the southern eastern coast of the US in the coral reefs. Like around the Bahamas off the coasts of Florida, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. But they travel other places when they want. Especially for their work, or if they need things that you can only buy in major civilizations.

And a good way to get people interested in your AUs?

Honestly? Just share content. Frequently post art, tease fun things, interact with people in comments or reblogs as much as possible and make as many friends as possible. Build up a community. It’s really, really slow progress. Almost painfully slow. But in the end its worth it.

random ninjagay headcanons

they r all under cut because its kinda long lol

kai: tries 2 make jokes but laughs at them b4 he can say them, has a bunch of merch of himself, carries bandages and bandaids 4 lloyd when he was lil bcuz his like gi was 2 big 4 him and he fell all the time, radiator, takes showers daily and nightly (zane had to convince him to only take them nightly)

cole: knows how 2 sew and fixed lloyds lil gi 4 him (he face plants bcuz of the tmrs tea incident and had 2 fix it all over again), he has had a bunch of pets and is a big animal lover, literally oblitareates everybody at just dance 2017, he has all of them memorized, has a rock collection (his favorite rock is named rocky lol)

lloyd: names eveyrything and anything, gets emotionally attached 2 stuff too easily, (cried all the times the bounty got destroyed), left handed weirdo, often fantasized about doing generic father son activites with his dad when he becoems good again, terrified of snakes, its the trauma, he gets sick a lot (my brother core), curls up and hugs his knees when he sleeps, hates vegetables (cole has 2 pin him down and force feed him any type of greens)

jay: horror movie fanatic (mostly why hes paranoid all the time), autistic about mechanics and video games, has a game reviewing yt channel, loves physical aftection but cuz of electric things others dont rlly appreciate it they try 4 him tho, hes so cold all the time, has won multiple gaming tournaments, vocally stims a lot and gets overstimulated easily, spends all of his money on random ass things nobody needs and tries 2 tell the ninjas it was a life long valuable investment, obsessed with orange juice, doesnt brush his teeeth, what does that make? yellow ass teeth

nya: loves going 2 the aqaurium, celebrates random national days, plays mermaid with lloyd whenever they go to a pool, will punch u in the face for anything and everything, loves sharing way too personal things, kind of a grimy girl, has a scrapbook thats rlly thick with pictures and scraps of paper or stickers

zane: rlly quiet, he sneaks up on ppl all the time (he says its on accident but the ninja rnt rlly convinced of that), literally looks like the epitome of some guy, so confused when they text, he sent a list of tone indicators 4 them 2 use bcuz hes austistic and confused, night light, is air conditioner in the summer, often gets confilcted about being a nindroid and if he ever truly feels things, tells the same joke 100 times and still thinks its funny, he doesnt need 2 sleep so he kinda just cleans at night and keeps watch 4 the ninja in case sormthing bad happens, nya often has 2 like oil up his joints bcuz if they rnt treated after a while they get rlly squeaky

pixal: hangs out with zane a lot at night cuz no need 2 sleep, also looks like some girl, cooks a lot, she may be a nindroid but she does not cook well, she loves building random like yk hings where u put a marble in and its like a beautiful just like continuenous movement that knocks stuff over and triggers stuff yk? likes to doodle and lloyd hangs up her drawings on the fridge, has a secret cat hidden in the monastery that she named screws, jays allergic 2 cats, she avoids jay a lot bcuz of this and jay thinks she doesnt like him, also she just isnt fond of the little blue one

Why not start with Dio?

I feel like he'd most likely down someone for malicious reasons, or simply because he thinks its entertaining when people are terrified and at his mercy.

He would absolutely be the type to taunt and terrorize his prey, especially if they are an enemy.

Part 1 dio would bite people

In the scenario where he is downing someone he gives a damn about, he would actually probably be really nervous. He's not used to downing people he wants to protect because very few people are that valuable to him, and even fewer of them that he actually cares about.

if his heart still beats, you can hear it racing. But he absolutely refuses to let anyone know he can feel anything beyond perfect composure and anger. But there is only so much you can hide from someone tucked away.

Part 1 dio? very noisy tum. But part 3? much more modest. But while being tucked away he'll gradually drain your energy rather then your blood/life force. So he feels a bit better, and you're tired enough for a good nap.

Part 1 Dio will not dare move. He doesnt want to wake you. he will put an end to anyone that makes a loud noise in the same room. Part 3 dio is much more relaxed than part 1 dio. He is more experienced. He might do some mundane activities.

Part 1 Dio would fold his arms over his chest and pretend like nothing is going on in front of others. but give him tummy rubs and he's an empty headed pile of mush. Regardless of other people. Part 3 dio will lounge around and enjoy the affection like the dramatic attention hog he is

The pillar men are all pretty nonchalant about it, but each has a differing oppinion on it. All very noisy tums since their bodies are described as one big digestive system. They are used to people throwing themselves at their feet to gain favor, so these are all somewhat willing prey scenarios

santana is the most curious. Usually they would just absorb people. But the strange new custom of others tucking eachother away has him more than a little curious.

First he tries it and just flat out absorbs them through the wall. The next time, he gets the hang of it, and just explores. He'll squeeze you out of curiosity. He'll also prod at you a lot. Asks questions out of curiosity rather than concern.

If you give him tummy rubs however he might just decide to keep you. He'll kind of think of you as a pet, but not really? he'll tuck you away so he can get tummy rubs and absorb your energy rather than absorbing you. Its not ideal but at least you arent dead. Eventually he might get a little attatched.

Whammu wouldnt bother with giving it a second thought at first. Doesnt really care if prey gets hurt, absorbed, starts crying, etc.

Would have to be tricked into it. 'Bet you cant do it' 'even a human can do that!'

eventually tries it. Since pillar men can just absorb people, he hasnt really attempted to eat anyone like that.

He thinks its wierd and uncomfortable.

Once someone is tucked away he still kinda thinks its wierd but he kind of understands why other people would do it now.

Surprisingly pretty gentle with prey, might push at them a little out of curiosity. Would think them pushing back or giving tummy rubs is kind of wierdly endearing, but dont expect a big reaction.

Esidisi would probably be the most gentle. At first he believes its a human form of punishment but after seeing it a few times realizes it is safe?? kind of confused but he's trying.

W A R M T U M

Might try to use it on opponents at first, and just melt them into a people smoothie. but when someone is so kindly offering, why not?

absolutely adores tummy rubs, loves willing prey and is always very gentle with them. Also enjoys multiple prey. A full tum is a happy tum.

Kars is more than a little interested. he loves the idea of keeping someone entrapped within his body.

He can and will use this as a way to entertain himself, enjoying the frightened screams and desparate cries and begging. Would most likely absorb a lot of people, but maybe take a liking to particularly shy prey.

Thinks its really cute when he makes them cry. But he's actually got a genuine soft spot for them. Will eat them without killing them to savor them longer but geuninely get attatched to them.

Gets very protective over his favorite little cry baby. is genuinely surprised when he recieves tummy rubs. Doesnt know how to react but definitely enjoys it.

We kinda already covered dio so here's some predcannons for some neato minor antagonists!

Hol Horse is a teasing pred, will bother you if he's hungry, as if he'll actually let you walk away. If he genuinely scares you he'll half heartedly try to calm you down. well, unless he's dealing with a lady of course. He is a known ladies man after all. Not super noisy, but if he's got someone tucked away, he'll get embarassed if he is noisy. It'll soothe with some nice tummy rubs. If you get into trouble he'd tuck you away to keep you safe. He's clearly not heartless.

Vanilla ice is solely devoted to dio. It would be kinda tough to get him to even think of anyone else. That being said he would be more than happy to offer up his body for dio. If he wants to hide from the sun, or simply take a nap, he'd be more than happy to tuck him away.

N'doul would actually be quite gentle. He'd likely only do it for someone dio paired him with. Since he is a patient man that uses his ears to keep track of people he'll know if you get hurt, and use his stand to bring you back to safety untill he can get to you. Then tuck you away so you can rest.

D'arby (the older one) would probably use his prey in gambling. Or get prey through gambling. If he wins, he'll tuck away any prey in the pot. He'll tease, but he isnt really affectionate. He just likes to rub it in the face of other preds.

Kira would either do it for one of two reasons. Either you know/saw something you shouldnt, or your hands are beautiful. But lets say he just likes your pretty little hands.

He'd bring you home and essentially treat you the way he treats the hands he steals. He'll spoil you like a lover as long as you comply. Just hold his face in your little hands and tell him everything will turn out fine.

He loves the feeling of your little hands pressing at the walls. Sometimes tummy rubs can even surpress his urge to kill if it gets really bad. It soothes him.

after the whole disguise thing he'll keep you around of course, because you helped him a lot. He's convinced he needs you now. He'll get obsessed with you.

Diavolo is absolutely a malicious pred. He'll terrorize and even hurt his prey. If he kills them, however, it certainly wont be by eating them.

He will rarely tuck anyone away unless they have seen him. He'll down them and save them for later so he can kill them without suspicion. Or just have doppio do it.

Speaking of doppio, he is actually a very sweet, nervous pred. He gets absolutely baffled when he finds people he doesnt remember eating tucked away. He'll soothe them if they are freaking out and gently press at them to let them know they havent been forgotten.

He'll be a little nervous if he's the one downing someone. If its not an enemy, its because he doesnt want to hurt anyone without orders, and if its an enemy, because he gets stomach aches really easy. He's fairly small, so is his tum. Its a tight fit. So if you're making a fuss it'll probably hurt him.

If he's got someone tucked away that he's supposed to be hiding or protecting, such as if he was assigned to get someone from A to B as descretely as he could, while in public, on a mission, or both, he will be fiercely overprotective of his middle.

Father pucci would do it, but he would be really indifferent about it. no toying with prey, doesnt react much to tummy rubs. But he does chat with people he tucks away. Unless he's manipulating them.

The only other reason he would do it would be to manipulate someone. He'll tuck them away and while they are entrapped use his role as a priest, or make up a justified reaason to get people to believe they owe him so they do his bidding. Like ff.

so i was looking at some jewish zionist posts on threads (i wasnt sure if they were zionist at first)

and though there was a bunch of bullshit, i did realize something

1. Interact and read what the opposition say because not only do you get vital info on them (understanding your opposition), but you can sometimes learn something valuable. Yes from anyone.

2. Only do this if you are strong enough because anyone can fall into propaganda and bigoted views. Yes, anyone.

There are things ive learned from shitty people that i didnt expect to learn. That are seperate from their bigotry/opposition. And though theres a lot of overlap with their veiws and bigotry, and usually what they do and say should be viewed in the lense of their mindset- sometimes theres things you can find from someone who has had experiences different from you. Everyone is different, you can learn something from literally anyone even the worst person is going to know something you dont know.

That doesnt mean mingle or to be friends with the worst people! dont do that!

What i mean is anger is understandable in these types of situations, but try and switch to your love of the oppressed instead. Because your anger can look just like their anger. I dont know how to explain or what that means, but you navigate these huge issues better when you don't respond in anger. Trust me i respond in anger. But when i dont, i learn more. Theres better engagement, im more likely to change someones mind.

When i respond in anger, and i view everything in that anger, then idk someone explain what i mean lol. i have scenarios and feelings but i cant describe it. but i know ive seen someone explain it before. I dont mean 'love thy enemy' btw.

Just viewing and responding in an absence of anger is just better.

Anyway, in this case, it was people being antisimetic-

now at first, i was seeing people calling out zionism and zionists claiming it antisemitism. And though typically i pay attention when something is said to be antisimetic, when it comes to zionists who are claiming everything is antisimetic when it wasnt obvious (or at all), then i tend to fall into not actually considering and just assuming they are lying. Not just Jewish zionists, any zionist. For Jewish zionists, their Jewish experience was overides by the fact that they are zionist (which there is no way else to put that zionism means taking away from Palestinians. Bottom line it is wanting Palestinian land to be israel and there is no way to get that without how its going down now).

Just like how sometimes my anger for TERFs can overide my view of their experience as a woman. Which is another reason why viewing with anger isnt good. It can cloud your judgment and warp how you view things even if you are well meaning.

-and sometimes it was blatant antisemitism where anyone could spot it

but other times it seemed like legitimate call outs. and some were!

but something this zionist said made me pay attention to how people are being "discreetly" antisemitic which i think non jews/not yet jews might not notice

and that is calling out zionism when zionism isnt the topic or isnt referenced

Like someone had the Magen David necklace in a post asking where they could get it or whatever. literally nothing about israel nothing about palestine or zionism. Its literally just a necklace of the Star Of David

and there were people bringing up zionism and Palestine. and in this case simply bringing up zionism WAS antisimetic because its equating zionism with being Jewish

Seeing a Jew and instantly thinking zionism is antisimetic

Majority of zionists are not going to change. And when i say zionist i dont mean Jew. Bc im pretty sure Biden isnt Jewish lol

Just like any bigot, like any terf, you as an individual are not going to change their mind. You debating them does nothing but make you feel like youre doing something. But you arent. It does nothing to argue with full cast bigots.

What matters more right now than owning the zionists, is protecting Jewish people who have to see all this shit. And i shouldnt have to say, but also Palestinians who have to see it too. Two groups of people who already have to see just so much right now, they dont to see all the shitty things youre seeing too- as in what people think of them.

Jewish people shouldn't have to see someone equate the Magen David to a genocidal symbol because people dont care enough to look anything up.

Actually know what your opposition believes, but you might also just learn something that is seperate from their beliefs. Again this doesnt mean mingle bc you might lear something new. It just means use your head and dont block out everything that you dont agree with right away. Like theres nuance lol idk how to explain it well. But im definitely better for it

And above all think of how your words look to Jewish people rn. Ask yourself if your words are going to change the mind of the person you are talking to? Because if not just block them. I say 'if not' bc some people are actually wanting to learn.

Because of course this genocide is affecting Palestinians, but it is also affecting the Jewish population

People ARE being antisimetic. Not by calling out zionism, but by seeing a Jew or anything Jewish and instantly calling it zionism and therefor supportive of genocide.

So yeah fuck zionism, but im glad that i stayed looking or else i might not have realized that i wasnt recognizing "discreet" antisemitism. If i wasnt curious and wanted to see more of what zionists believe, i would not have grown to be a better person. I wouldnt have learned hands on more of what they believe and how i dont agree with it.

It is seriously so crucial to talk about the seperation of zionism and israel to Jewish people

They are not synonymous. Call out people who are being antisimetic when its obvious they are ignorant. Your comment will be seen by others and they will learn even if the person you messaged doesnt. But dont fight. Just educate. A fight is what i was talking about above on what you shouldnt do. Bc it gets you nowhere.

Be pro actively non antisimetic. Look stuff up. Ask questions.

And though Jewish zionists are zionists, they are also Jewish. Some of their claims to antisemitism might be bullshit but not all of it.

I’ve been working on a little playlist for Jackal and every time I put it on in my car (the idea makin box) I think of new ideas as i belt out the songs at the top of my lungs

Just gonna hide this below a readmore since its a lot of images and ramblings.

OKAY gonna try and go in chronological order the best I can.

Days N Daze / Post Party Depression

This song can fit in multiple places in Jackal’s timeline but i fit it mostly in the very beginning.

When Lyrebird is in her teens she spends a lot of time being stupid. She and her friends have fun breaking into abandoned buildings and harmless things that slowly escalate until theyre pulling street scams on unsuspecting passerby. When they pull a con unknowingly on a Mafia Bouncer. Everyone runs leaving her the sole perpetrator left to face the mafia.

After she ends up in the mafia, Lyre’s whole life is turned upside down. Suddenly her stupid cons have forced her into a real life of crime- a runner and helper for the mafia. She never wanted to be a criminal but she doesnt see a way out.

This part fits into just about every part of Jackal’s story. Man of a thousand masks. In this section it serves as the first instance that Lyrebird has to become her masks. Before they were just for pulling scams but now she wears them every waking moment- anything to hide her fear and uncertainty.

Shakira / She wolf

THIS SONG!!!! Is jackals main anthem i think, it makes me think abt him SO MUCH. Mainly I see it as Lyrebird coming to terms with who she is becoming. She learns to lie better, wear her masks like a second skin, shes not stealing chump change anymore- but something much more valuable. Information.

Mike Hough / Gambling man

Gambling Man represents the majority of Lyrebird’s late story with Nathan. As time goes on Lyre grows closer to him, falls deeper in love. I like to use gambling as a motif for Jackal and Dallas.

Lyre knows things are impossible but shes willing to place her bets on him, stay by his side even if the odds aren’t in her favor. A million to one odds and she still wouldnt leave. Unknown to both of them is how Nathan is her devil in disguise

Lyrebird saw the signs- saw a hit on her head- Nathan warned her- but she chose to stay. Now she’s paying for her sins, a bullet just inches away from ending her life- shes dead in everyway but physical. But she’s still lingering on her feelings- reality yet to truly sink in.

Joey Batey / Her sweet kiss

As Lyrebird leaves Chicago, shes forced to realize and truly come to terms with the fact the person she’d devoted the past five years of her life to has gutted her irreparably. Theres still that yearning- but he wasn’t worthy of it. He didn’t deserve her love.

Fin / Ship In a Bottle

Lyrebird is well and truly dead now. Her corpse washed away in the Chigaco waterfront only to reach the shore and be devoured by scavengers and vultures. She's truly alone now, but she's in control of her narrative now. This is her battle. Her ship. And she didn't need crew who would betray her- this is all her own battle to win.

I do! I believe that everyone on earth has someone that'd love them fairly and perfectly and you'd fit together like a pair of gloves. And I believe in that because of 2 things: 1. I think it's impossible with how many people are out there that everyone doesnt have a soulmate, there are so many of us and at least one person would work perfectly for anyone, and 2. I believe love is a core element of life. You love and be loved and sometimes that's what life is about, so there has to be someone out there who will love you because love is the point of life.

hot pink — what’s your favorite relationship trope?

Okay answered a little bit about this in the last ask but let me give some tropes that are in a relationship :

☆ Sun and moon couple — don't even think I need to explain this one.

☆ Cheerful and grumpy — it's a classic, but so overdone so it's only good when it's well written.

☆ Two people who are actually more similar than they think — like two pessimists or two optimists, and while this is prone to turning out really badly, it's also prone to bring out the best in both of them. I'm a pessimist by nature but when it comes to my loved ones I always try to look at the bright side, so I feel like two people who struggle with the same issues might be able to help each other out rather than bring each other down. It all depends on the effort they put in towards it working out.

☆ Height difference!

☆ No height difference at all — want to stand next to my partner and be the same height, I think it's cute if neither of us needs to bend down or reach up to kiss.

☆ Highschool sweethearts — something I hoped I'd have myself but my time is definitely out, adulthood sweethearts it is! But the idea of growing with someone is very promising to me because if you have someone who loves you along the way a lot of stuff is easier, and you don't really think about dying alone and all that existential crisis stuff.

I don't know why but for a second I thought this was a literal question, but anyways! I don't think I have a specific favorite but I really like 'my love' as long as it's not overused AND if I date someone who's not of my culture I'd love if they used petnames native to their language (especially italian, I have a thing for italians) like amor.

As for why, I just think any nickname derived of love is better than nicknames not derived of love, as in the word itself. I think it's fancy and soft and whenever I call my friends that/ get called that my heart explodes because it's just a valuable name to be called!

i know ive talked about this a million times before but im gonna talk about it again because it came up when i was perusing my roxy music pages on fb earlier (the only thing i use fb for) so here i go

TL;DR later

apparently bryan didnt necessarily WANT to be the sole center of attention in roxy music? like supposedly at the beginning it was supposed to feature everyone sort of equally but the management pushed for bryan to be the lead, but i cant help but feel like this would have happened anyway given enough time. even though bryan interviews poorly (he's shy and gets tongue-tied easily- comments made by interviewers and bryan himself) being the singer he is kind of by default the one that gets the attention put on him, so to me im unsurprised that he gets the bulk of the attention, i just dont understand why its SO one-sided. clearly /I/ see the value in phil and andy and i think theyre just as interesting and important to the band as bryan but i cant for the life of me figure out why so few other people feel that way.

my best guess is that it's because bryan writes lyrics and therefor appears to be their voice and therefore their identity, but just because he plays a significant role in their work doesnt mean that andy and phil's work is any less valuable you know? like if you take either of them away you're taking away huge parts of roxy, and without either of them it wouldnt be the same. you can take away eddie and gary and john wetton and even eno and paul (sorry paul) and you still have roxy music- and thats because its them three TOGETHER that makes roxy music roxy music. arguably, johnny gustafson could make them four- i think thats a fair argument to make but then again idk anybody trying to make that argument lol. i personally think they were strongest with johnny but they were very much still roxy without him, so i maintain that roxy music, at the end of the day, is really three dudes working together, and they should all be a part of the roxy discussion, not just bryan.

so, what is it that people see in bryan that they dont see in andy and phil? is it JUST because they dont sing lead? is it because they're not as good looking as bryan? his looks are questionable at best imo. i dont think hes all that conventionally good looking but i get the appeal. but still, i dont think that warrants the spotlight he gets. i dont think anything about him warrants that attention. there is no one like andy mackay in the rock world and yet the andy's page on fb has 3k likes, whereas bryan's has 400k likes. that's preposterous to me.

i acknowledge bryan's solo work, thats all well and good, and perhaps thats what makes him more popular as far as numbers, but when it comes down to roxy music the band, the attention he gets is unwarranted. its one thing to be a bryan ferry fan, it's another to be a roxy music fan where the only person you care to acknowledge is bryan. those people are not really fans of roxy music and i dislike them for that because they claim to be when they only have eyes for bryan, which, as i have made clear, is unfair and untrue. you cant be a roxy music fan and ONLY care for bryan, because if you DO like roxy music's music that much, you by default like andy and phil too, so why not give them credit? thats what i fail to understand.

TL;DR: bryan ferry is a loser and idk why people like him soooo much more than andy mackay and phil manzanera.

believe it or not this is only a fraction of what i have to say about roxy music and their fans. i think the dynamic is really interesting and i like getting angry about things i love lol

i hope u know how much it makes me Not Sane for zhongli being softly indulgent to xiao especially on his most vulnerable moment (bc by god does he need that extensive care and love despite the spiralling), but not too mushy and direct (going segway a bit that while i hold parental zhongli Very Dearly i do not dig the idea he does it to the extent of inf*ntilizing xiao, hes still a [young] adult but just very confused how to be one, so the treatment IS still specific) but patient and gentle. and when the adeptus isnt awake in such situations, the former archon would plant a light kiss on his forehead too (doing when xiao is awake would be a whole other thought spiral and confusion to the poor guy). very rare moment, but very valuable.

a lot more rare when its on lumine getting her unspoken concern and care to him in an affectionate way that's not just holding his hand for reassurance or light but solid hold on his shoulder to keep his whirling internal conflict grounded. i could literally count on one hand (TWO FINGERS INCLUDING THE ANGEL KISS) that she ever kissed xiao at all before she left.

so it just,... matters to me a lot of xiao's relationships to others with the emphasis of his unwilling repulsion to affection, cus on both reasons he doesnt think hes worth one and that he doesnt know how it will work for him yknow [[explodes

Hi Jess!!! How soft 🥺 here are some of my thoughts? (Hopefully this is who/what you had in mind?)

I think Boba would be the closest to a big moment - but not like a rescue or anything romantic in a traditional sense. I could see it being like during a moment the reader stands their ground in a fight or otherwise. Maybe you're defending your right to travel by his side, after weeks of responding only with side-eye to the comments.

Look at the great Boba Fett, and his new little pet, they said, and he watched your shoulders tense under the weight of carrying their offers to replace you on his right. He thought he admired, appreciated that you ignored it, enjoyed the dignity in which you seemingly let their jeers and judgement slide off of you, but when you stood up for yourself? When you dug your heels in and lifted your chin and leveled your gaze, eyes filled with danger and confidance and words as powerful as his own? That's my girl, he thinks, before catching himself. His? And he looks at you again, hooking a satisfied smile in his direction, worthiness making your shoulders light again, and he knows. His.

I like the idea of Din being so caught up in the world he created that he doesnt realize just how special you've become to him, just how valuable your compatibility is. Maybe it's a moment, a bounty makes a jeer about it, how sick your teamwork makes him, and the way he says partner sticks in Din's mind. It makes him think about Peli, or one of the others, who told him you looked good together, maybe made a strange comment about how lucky it seemed. And then he begins to notice moments, collect little compromises he's made, or little bits of you that make him warm inside. He finds the rubbled remnants of the walls he broke down for you, and it should shock him - should be a anxiety ridden "uh oh" - but isn't. It takes him a bit to put them all together, but he kind of thinks it's been a long time coming. He doesn't really know what to do with his feelings not really, but it sort of seems like you've been rowing in the same boat this whole time, knowingly or not. And he knows how to be a good partner for you, has already learned you as well as one can, so he's not really worried - liking you is as natural, like his rifle being the extension of his arm.

In love, I think Paz parallels his armour, a Mandalorian through and through. Rough and tough and strong on the surface, reputation included, and careful, complicated, maybe a bit confusing on the inside. It's what they dont want outsiders to see, what they're working on, desperately, but that havent quite been figured out yet. So when he sees that way you smile, the light in your eyes, it makes him kind of... defensive. And he shoves it away, pushes the idea of vulnerability as far as he can and it's funny, because good things come back around, that's the way. He's drawn to you, and then I think you just look at him. See him for who he is, see him as man before a Mandolorian and maybe , maybe he hears his name on your lips for the very first time, his real name. You say Paz in a way he thinks he likes, thinks he could hear for awhile and ... uh oh. Is this a crush? And he's flustered on the inside, nervous, and awkward and honestly maybe a little but afraid? But you see that too, dont let him run away, and he's thankful you dont because. Yeah. It's a crush.

A/n- hc with fairy tail girls? Hell yeah. Ahisdh I’m so excited for this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 💕 ack! This also took way longer than I thought, sorry about that.

Ezra Scarlet

Erza was my first anime crush. Omg I love her so much. 🥺💕

There’s not doubt about it, Erza is definitely shy and awkward. It’s a complete 180 compared to her powerful and strong personality. When you come around she melts like putty. Her biggest soft spot is you for sure.

Poor Erza can not get a break. The guild always teases and picks fun of Erza for the change in character when your around. Of they only tease her because she an easy target when your around and on top of that she’s so fluster you even fight back.

Cutes dates as cafes. I mean Erza loves her strawberry cake, so there’s no doubt that she’ll take you to her favorite cafe.

Prefers not to take you on missions but because she trust you and respects you strength. You and Erza always take missions to together. Erza still very overprotective of you though. The only missions she won’t let to do is S Class.

When y’all do go on missions, yall normally end up splitting up the quest. You will handing gathering information, while Erza will deal with all the fightings. It’s hard to keep with with Erza so not only will it let you off easy but Erza also doesn’t have to do worry about you. The 2 of you are probably the most perfect team out of the whole guild.

After long quest, or even a long day, Erza loves when y’all take baths together. It might not mean a lot to you, but it sure means a lot to Erza. Without her armor to protect her, she feels valuable and so that fact that she’s able to take her armor off and relax means that she trust you so much.

Absolutely loves when you wear her armor and/or clothes. You put on anything that’s hers and she will melt again. She just loves the way your armor looked on you.

Dating Erza is definitely an blessing, she strong, sweet, and trusting. You were so lucky to find her, although you have to make sure your patient. It’s gonna take Erza a while to get use to all this couple and lovey-dovey stuff because she’s never really understand it. So just make sure you patient, and soon enough Erza will be wrapped around your finger.

Juvia Lockser

Very dedicated and faithful to you.

Purest relationship the guild has ever seen. Juiva spoils you like there’s no tomorrow bring you presents and baked goods and always showing you with kisses and hugs. It would be a lie to say that the guild didn’t find it annoying. But as long as the 2 of you are happy the guild is happy too.

With that being said, it took a while for you to get used to Juiva’s very loving and affection personality. It’s was a little overwhelming at first, but it wasn’t long till you got use to it. Juvia definitely makes you feel like the only one in the world.

You feel bad about not being able to get anything back but Juvia always says that your love is the best things she could have. Juvia loves the little things you do, cook her dinner, brush her hair, give her a good morning kiss, stuff like that is what makes Juvia fall more head over heels, if that even possible

A very artsy couple. Always doing sometime type of project. Whether it’s cooking, sowing, or painting. Juvia always loves making stuff for you.

Random dates. Juvia loves to surprise you with random dates. She will take you anywhere and everywhere. It’s always ended up being that the most random spots too. Juvia just happy to spend time with you no matter where or when.

Her favorite thing you do is where her coat or hat when it cold. You do that, just like Erza, she’ll melt. Literally. Seeing you in her clothes makes her so happy.

Like I stated before, it’s took a while to get use to juvia’s overwhelming love. It wasn’t like any other you felt, but that’s probably just you fell for her even more. She was about to make you feel so loved and so happy and didn’t even ask for anything in return. She truly makes you feel like your the only one in the world

Mirajane Strauss

Surprisingly dominate.

It doesn’t matter if your older, taller, or have a higher rank than her. Mira’s gonna end up teasing you. It can be about anything too, as long as she gets to see your flustered smile she’s happy.

She’s always have you wrapped around her finger too. For some reasons, she just finds it so easy to tease and mess around with you. Of course she would never do it to hurt you in anyway. She loves you so if you tell her to stop or you tell her that something she said/did was bothering you, she definitely stop and try to make it up to you

You spend a lot of time with Elfman and Lizanna. Mira is a very family oriented person, whether it’s her real family or guild family. If you don’t get along with them it doesnt matter if she likes you or not. Her family comes first.

Because Mira doesn’t go on a lot of missions the 2 of you end up tending the bar at the guild a lot. It’s y’all’s only source of money besides missions.

Even when y’all go on missions, Mira refuses to bring you. She would rather have you stay safe at the guild than risk going. And because she’s an S Class wizard, it’s all the more reason she makes you stay.

Although, when the 2 of you aren’t doing missions or tending the bar, the 2 of you are off lazing around the town. The 2 of you are happy not doing anything exciting and just sitting back and relaxing. It’s nice to take a break from the guild and the pictures and interviews the 2 of you have. Because you know damn well that the magazine companies what the insights of y’all’s relationship. So spending time behind locked doors taking a bath together is the only thing the 2 of you could wish.

The 2 of you together is a match made it heaven. Although, Mira does tease you, she loves you so much and she definitely makes she to show it.
