Ray Stevenson has such an incredible presence. He dominates every single scene he is in. You feel him in every scene. Even at the end of episode 3 when the camera pans up and he speaks like two lines and just stands there. It’s incredible. There is a way about him and the way he played this character that is so incredibly powerful. I thought episode 3 was strong, much stronger than I was expecting, but the second I saw his boots I got immediate chills.
I have not (yet) seen anything else he has done, but I believe he played his absolute heart out with this role as Baylan. And what an incredible last one to go out on. Not only did he play it magnificently, but his character is well written and mysterious and nuanced and so, so intriguing

The absolutely heartbreaking scene between Korra and Asami in Book 3: Episode 13, "Venom of the Red Lotus", I can't hold back the tears every time I see this scene:
Cut to the interior, where Asami takes a hairpin from her lips and inserts it into Korra's bunned hair.
Asami: There you go. All fixed up for a formal Avatar appearance. [Passes Korra a mirror.] Take a look.
Korra: [Downcast.] It's great. Thanks.
Asami: [Side shot, revealing Korra in a wheelchair.] You know, nobody expects you to bounce back right away. It's only been two weeks. You need time to heal. [Korra glances at her expressionlessly; Asami holds her hand.]
I want you to know that I'm here for you. If you ever want to talk, or, anything.
But let's just try to enjoy this today; for Jinora.
Korra: You're right. [Breathes deeply.] Okay, let's go.
Me:
Also, an underrated scene moments later:
Raiko: I'd like to officially welcome you back to Republic City. I know that the last time we saw each other, it didn't end on the best terms. But I want to thank you for taking down those Red Lotus terrorists.
[Asami seeing how this situation was making Korra quite uncomfortable]:
Asami: We should go inside.

So last night I did indeed manage to watch the final episode of Reservation Dogs
Oh my god
Beautiful just doesn't manage to describe it
It was an absolutely perfect and gorgeous ending to an absolutely perfect and gorgeous series and I will miss this show
I watched it pretty late since I couldn't get access to it for ages but after I did I had to sit in bed for a bit and just process the ending, and just really let it sink in that that was the ending and it was incredible
AUGH Jesus Christ this show really is the best ever
ANYWAY DETAILED THOUGHTS TIME
-That opening with the radio show got me in the feels IMMEDIATELY with the parallels to the first ever episode (which I have watched a million times over) oh Jesus
-That speech about Fixico still being with everyone made me cry about five minutes into the episode
-And then laugh at the elders afterwards
-And then cry again
-As the rest of Rez Dogs managed it was the very perfect blend of 'oh god my heart this is beautiful' and 'this is absolutely hilarious'
-NO JACKIE AND ELORA but that's okay, no one else got together either lmao
-The Bear and Elora scene drew parallels to me of the bit where Jackie and Elora sit and talk in that church in the final episode of season 1? But idk if that's me looking into it too much
-That scene was beautiful though how did they manage to write it so well and make it so damn emotional, the emotions in that scene were just ON POINT
-Also the Bear and William Knifeman scene was iconic and a really good ending to that whole plotline which I really like
-As always the cinematography of this episode was something else and added to how powerful it was massively
-MOSE AND MEKKO GIVING FIXICO THEIR CD WHEN THEY WENT UP TO HIS COFFIN HAHAHA
-KENNY BOY'S SHOVEL THING THAT WAS AMAZING and his hair looked epic
-Willie Jack being allowed to start digging first ❤️❤️❤️
-Willie Jack in this episode AS A WHOLE, her final speech drew tears like nobody's business
-Jackie's HAIR I almost did a double take when I first saw it wasn't blond
-Also Elora's hair looked really good this episode I want to learn how to do that hairstyle
-The very last scene with the elders was a really good way to end the ending too
-I thought we'd see Daniel this episode maybe? But we didn't and that was okay
-'THOSE ARE WHITE PEOPLE FOOD.' 'WORSE.' HAD ME ON THE FLOOR HAHA
Anyway to summarise
That was a perfect, incredible ending to a masterpiece of a series
It wasn't too emotionally devastating and it really kept up the previous themes of the show and jesus this show means so so very much
And I'm so sad there won't be anymore new stuff but damn is the existing three seasons incredible
How are we feeling after that episode everyone because I am fulfilled and jesus it was such a good finale AAAA GOD
We love you, Rez Dogs

I can’t stop listening to Brian David Gilbert’s “i wish that i could wear hats”
Seriously this is such a brilliant song and it just makes you feel all tingly and it’s only a minute and a half long and I can’t handle it
It’s such a beautiful and poignant song about anxiety and body dysmorphia and wanting to just exist without being perceived. How bdg can be consistently so creative and philosophical and dare to only do it in minute long bursts I can’t understand
