Woo hello 🎬!! I kept all of your ask here -- I put it like this for my own easy scrolling, but no way am I cutting any of this, it's so perfect AH

Oughhhhgh Haruka getting more confident from hanging out with everyone and getting such positive feedback… I’d imagine the back to back innocent verdict and night of compliments would do wonders for his psyche ;-; And same for Muu and Amane! Minus the inno verdict, but the sudden influx of explicit compliments and acknowledgement of “hey, that was fucked up what they did to you, okay?” I wonder if there’s any awkwardness since After Pain directly follows Bring it On, but I like to imagine Fuuta and Muu have a deeper talk about things in private (and maybe Muu hesitantly mentions her involvement with Rei in preparation for INMF…)

Damn, who’s going to give the sex talk to the kids after Yuno’s vide-- Shidou. Sidou does. Without hesitation. They have to stop him because no one wants to hear it and everyone there already understands the basics.I love the idea of she, Mahiru, Muu, and designer Mikoto chatting about everyone’s fashion sense (I can imagine them poking fun at Fuuta’s tracksuit and Shidou’s patterned shirts.) And planning shopping trips that include everyone!!! Amane and Kotoko are given no choice in the matter, and a lot of the guys are genuinely interested in coming along.

Awww, I love the thought of Haruka getting into a “boy” interest with Fuuta and Mikoto -- he never knew what it was like to have brothers but he’s really enjoying it <3 (Also I’m cracking up over Fuuta trying desperately to convince them “it’s not cringe!!!”)

ASDFSDF Mappi just straight up sobbing and Mikoto handing her tissues 😂 But yes, she also gets choked up during Magic and Amane can’t figure out why. This begins the adults’ efforts to get her out of whatever situation she’s currently in (which Jackalope was already half-working on, but is definitely spurred on by several angry almost-murderers demanding he get it done now.)

I do like that idea of Red more comfortable with showing skin than Blue. (I know people are very emotional about the stalker theory, but I personally never took it in a harmful way. I always enjoyed how it was a symbol of stripping away everything else until you’re left with your true, whole self.) So I like to think that Blue feels too exposed, but Red/Green are the ones who pitched it in a symbolic sense!

I’m losing my mind at Kotoko/Kazui/Red talking about sparring. Everyone else is like “hell yeah, let’s see it!” and Shidou just sitting there like “you all are going to be the death of me. You are NOT fighting.” Because I really want to think about it happening, I’ll say they manage to sneak away at least once and nearly break a prop in the process, to which even Jackalope shuts them down.

I think they all manage to get pretty serious again by the time T2 rolls around, but the hiatus is filled with a lot of sweet moments and healing conversations between everyone. Also, making so many plans for the future helps keep them sane when some of the project immersion gets a bit too real. Whenever they start realizing they might be condemned for their actions and worried that they’re too broken/they’re life is ruined, they come back to those plans and relax a bit.

Absolutely no pressure, but I would love to hear your T2 thoughts! 👀👀👀 I’m so incredibly grateful you’ve taken the time to share your ideas -- from the very beginning this au has been a big collaboration, so it’s super fun bouncing ideas around :D

“Sure did,” Jungkook puffs before stepping away, taking all the tight space with him and letting you breathe again. “But all I’m saying is, you gotta lower your standards or—”

“No.”

“Or,” he continues, giving you a look, “Not complain if they’re too high.”

“Well, thank you.” With your nose grazing the sky, you point out, “I’d like to think they’re just right.”

“What even are they anyway? All you’ve said is something about ten days.”

“That’s basically it,” you murmur, resting your arms on the island as to not have your chest in full view. “If I still like someone after ten days, I know I’d be fine dating them for real.”

There’s silence when you finish. When you finally look, the gawk you’re getting in return almost makes you laugh. “What?”

“You mean those days are only a trial run?”

You do break into laughter this time, burying your face in slight shyness. “And what about it!”

“Are you serious—?” Jungkook rounds the island so that he can speak directly at your hidden features. “Has anyone even gotten past all ten with you?”

You pause, breath fanning the granite top beneath you and wisping around your face. When you lift your gaze above your arms, you keep it trained on the countertop instead of his curiosity,

“No.”

He doesn’t say a word.

“Not since my standards changed.”

And you think that’s the end of this conversation. Because what else is there to say? You know your expectations are impossible but you think this is a hell of a lot better than—

“I could do it.”

“What.” A glare is shot. “Absolutely not.”

“Why not?”

“You? No.” You shake your head. “You wouldn’t even last seven.”

“Try me,” he challenges, and you still can’t take him seriously despite the fire in his eyes. “I’ve lasted a lot more than that as your roommate, right?”

“But that’s—this is—this is different! Be for real, Kook.” You vacate the island and head to your room, having enough of his teasing for one morning.

But you get stopped at the doorway, a bare chest and chains blocking your vision and sending your mind into a frenzy. When you flick your gaze to his face, he simply says, with the straightest expression,

“I am.”

aether x ghoul/ghoulette reader

- you finally get some time with your boyfriend <3

- no warnings for this one, only aeth cuddling. swiss/sodo implied though LMAO. it's a wip supposed to be followed by smut but i don't think i am finishing anytime soon 👍

You lean against his door, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips. You know your Aether has been busy rehearsing for weeks, but he finally has a break for the next few days. You've already got a list of things to help him unwind, and that includes making banana splits with ridiculous amounts of sweets in them.

There's chatter in the hallways and you can tell who's talking about what. The ghouls see you, nodding to acknowledge you while continuing the conversation.

"I don't know why this keeps happening to me!" Sodo says his hands raising up in defeat. Two of his fingers have bandages on them. "Ghouls are meant to be more resistant, yet I'm defeated by a string of metal. Damned bloody fingers."

"Be more careful. I don't wanna have to patch you have everytime." Aether sighs out, turning to look at him.

"Maybe you should stop beating your guitar like it owes you money, then." Swiss says in a voice dripping with sarcasm, one to obviously rile the fire ghoul up. "Find something else to release those frustrations on."

Sodo promptly flips him off with a bandaged finger, a bit of blood soaking through. Swiss sticks his tongue out at him. Aether and Rain laugh along as they pass by their dormitories, you can hear Mountain whistle a tune behind them. The ghouls slowly scatter to their rooms but not all of them go alone. You see Sodo drag Swiss by the arm to his room, and you mentally prepare yourself to overhear unholy noises.

Aether's purple eyes almost light up once he sees you. His tail moves excitedly behind him, a gesture you find endearing. He reminds you of a puppy sometimes, with how exciteable he can be. He quickly moves to hold your waist, pressing a gentle kiss on your lips. "Hey, babe. Thought you had more work to attend to?" He inquires, although you don't think he'll mind at all with all the times he snuck you out.

"Got it done early," you say, smiling more, fangs poking out. "Apparently the chance to spend more time with you makes for great motivation."

He hums happily at that, whisking the two of you into his room. Aether plops down on his bed, taking you down with him. After a few seconds of laying his face flat against the mattress, he comes to pull you closer. He tilts his head a little when you look at him. "Can we cuddle?" He asks you in a soft voice, one that always awakens the butterflies in your stomach.

"Of course." You reply, moving over. He takes you in his arms, letting you lay on his chest. Aether takes a deep breath as he takes in the feeling of your body against his. Aether loved holding you close like this, with barely any space in between you.

Yet somehow, you couldn't stay still. Not when it's been so long since you've had the chance to be alone. You hear his heartbeat behind you and you turn your head back. You press a kiss to his nose, and then to his lips.

He flutters his eyes open, a smile tugging at his lips. "Couldn't help but steal a kiss?" Aether shakes his head but brings his lips to yours as well. "You taste sweet as always." He mutters as his eyes close, arm moving to hold your waist. His breathing slows down as you two settle in, the only movement being his hand caressing your sides.

It's the best nap either of you have had in a while. And you wake up smelling like him, a cozy mix of dark chocolate and sandalwood. You take the time to admire his features in the soft afternoon light. Being careful as to not wake him up, you hold his hand and squeeze it gently. Each touch and each part of him had always felt like home.

OBNUBILAR wip COMIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

SO... okay I have a lot of explaining to do don't I? 😅 well well its a long read.

💙 I am MAKING the comic guys. It's been a work in progress for ...4 or 5 months even! This was part of my thesis project!

I made the animation... some stickers... some trial keychains... all because! I made a first bit of the Obnubilar comic as well! 😩✨️ it's still a WIP and will be for LONG but I'm making it and I'm excited.

I HAVE 50 PAGES READY TO READ will put the link below.

Some disclaimers:

💛 it's the first comic i make and it isn't perfect in the slightest.

❤️ I made these pages when my tendonitis was at its strongest 🫠 so to reach my goal for the thesis I had to cut short on a lot of stuff and apply some tricks, reduce the detail level and all that.

💙 I worked on the comic in italian first and foremost so translation might be kinda wonky. pardon!

These first 50 pages are still a WIP some changes will be made (but overall the comic will look like this) I never made studies on how to make comics so I don't pretend being a master! I'm not at all I JUST HOPE YOU ENJOY IT :")

The pages I posted end abruptly since it's unfinished. They are in English to read (link below).

It'll take me a long time before I can finish it, I'm talking for sure a few years even if there's issues with timing and / or plot.

I actually have a few more pages ready but I can't upload them and I want to have a bigger amount of pages to send to a few friends that are beta-readers first. Their feedback is always appreciated as it helps me change the dynamics and looks or even dialogue as my writing can be weak 😅👍 no shame in that! Won't improve unless I keep trying!

Suggestion: read this as if it's a lil experimental piece 💓✨️ :D would love to know what you like about it or some feedback, please be kind.

no other shade of blue but you maybe? not sure if it counts as angsty it's very short and ends with marinette just being sort of sad and wistful. i'm not built for angsty endings<3

probably golden (like daylight)! that's definitely the one i'm proudest of at least.

i have tooons of wips in my google docs but i am wary of posting anything on ao3 that’s not a one shot/something i’m sure i’ll finish. one i think might be lost to time is my ladrien greek mythology wip💔

16. What are your writing strengths?

a lot of comments I get are related to prose/description so maybe that? I tend to spend a lot of time trying to pick out the exact right words for each sentence so that it has the sonic/rhythmic quality i'm going for. golden is probably the best example of this; I worked and reworked those sentences for many months until I was satisfied haha. I remember wanting it to feel sort of like the building of a song

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

my writing can be sort of dense and hard to get through sometimes!! I think I have a tendency to try and pack a lot into every sentence, which is fun for me to write, but can be difficult to get through as a reader. it's sort of the polar opposite to how I approach drawing silly comics, where the goal is to deliver the point/joke as clearly and effectively as possible. writing puts me in a much more contemplative headspace, which makes my fic not quite as digestable I think

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I admit i am guilty of peppering in random french words in ml fic whenever I feel like it 💔 I usually use italics though

19. First fandom you wrote for?

dear evan hansen I think? (<-I was a very specific type of annoying in high school)

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

have to give it to my og adrien essay golden (like daylight). it has all my favorite stuff. adrinette. what could loosely be called a plot. the word "something." I said what I needed to say

Maleon and Saraleon. Idk what can i say that i haven't said already? The pure love and affection, the devotion, the betrayal. My mans Leon got the best gf and the worst bf of all time and the repercussions of their fallout lasted almost a thousand years, iconic. Runner up is Celiakado bc love my toxic manipulative bastards duo. Daddy issues x cringefail girl <3

Again, Richtercard. Neat ship, can get it, but not my thing. Idk what other popular ships i could talk abt bc small fandom. Im pretty 👍 abt most of them i guess

13) What's a character or ship you haven't written/drawn yet but would like to someday?:

Ohhh so many. I have a dumped Leonx Isaac wip fic that i'd like to pic back up, and also some Sara x Julia ideas. And well, if i started listing all the ships i'd like to draw i'd never finish, but you kno stuff like belshine, shalaura, hevor, etc. In terms of characters, i wanna do some doodles with the wygol villagers living their lives, and draw the Lecarde twins or Yoko bc oh man the underrated witches of all time. And this is not going into my cv64/LoD comic n fic ideas (help).

24) What's your favourite thing abt [character]?:

You know let's go with Isaac this time. I like... the tragedy his choices lead him to. He keeps getting rejected and hated and losing and the ways he reacts are both understandable (as in, yea i get why he'd do that) and also the absolute worst you could do (both for himself and everyone around him, he's one awful bastard). And, since he is so intrinsically tied to Hector, i like how he is his dark reflection, how he shows what Hector could have been if instead of prioritizing his right to live as a human, he had grabbed all that willpower and instead used it to reduce and dehumanize himself for the sake of love and acceptance. It's like, Isaac is strong, smart, stubborn and determined yet he can't use those qualities for his own good or to help others but to spread misery and make himself worse in the process. He really became Dracula's weapon, at the cost of his own life. I am feeling normal abt him (gonna run him over with a bulldozer <3)

my favorite might just be my first one, if i'm being completely honest :,) millennium bug has a very very special place in my heart for a lot of reasons and i always think of this fic very fondly

i hope this question means what i think it does lmao but i usually listen to music i dont know when i write, because if i do know the song it makes me focus on it too much 😭👍 i did listen to berry by sunwoo a lot when writing plot twist and my current sunwoo wip and i also had paris by the 1975 on loop when writing paris for... obvious reasons LMAO...

19. any new fics to start next year ::

i am currently writing a sunwoo first love au and changmin partners in crime au that most likely won't be finished until the end of the year,, so i will start my year working on these 👀 other than that i also have gamer! sunwoo, prince eric! x league lore eric and hockey player! eric on my agenda for what i wanna write as soon as im done with these o:)

a couple of days ago i had a fwb! eric idea that i started, wrote two paragraphs for and then deleted the doc because....i dont think i can do this. im not strong enough 😭 i also really wanted to write this jihoon (treasure) fic thats like really silly coffee shop au with a lot of fanfic tropes but i only wrote the first chapter and never continued it,, although i DO wanna eventually finish that one!! the same goes for my drinking buddies dino fic that's been waiting in my drafts like 50% done for MONTHS atp 😭

What's your total Ao3 word count? 400,467. oh my

What fandoms do you write for? mash of course but i also have a couple of star wars things including the time travel fic that i promise will get done eventually

What are your top five fics by kudos? or, the children's crusade, maple syrup, breathe fresh air ever after, hawkeye, why hawkeye, i now pronounce you pierce and hunnicutt

Do you respond to comments? i really try to even if it takes 100 years

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? hmmm. i really rarely don't write a happy ending but maybe breathe fresh air ever after aka the one where daniel pierce watches "the interview." the truman show AU and the one where it's all a dream also are both kind of bleak

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? all the long ones with a bj goes to maine element i think are kind of equally happy so maple syrup, hyh, but also you deserve the best, the hawkmarg friendship inspired fic that was the first mash fic idea i ever had

Do you get hate on fics? not to my face tho i sometimes wonder if mutuals in law have me blocked bc of any perceived bad takes in my writing

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? not habitually, but ive written some in my opinion narratively relevant sex scenes lol

Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? closest i've come is incorporating elements of the catch-22 universe into mash stuff, and i have a broader outline for a real mash-22 crossover that i'd like to actually write one day

Have you ever had a fic stolen? ok funny yeah i was just telling della about this but like. not word for word like copy pasted but i was reading a hawkeye margaret friendship fic a while ago and was really enjoying it and then realized it was beat for beat copying my hawkmarg bestfriends fic 😭 right down to including references to the communist manifesto

Have you ever had a fic translated? i don't believe so but that would be cool!

Have you ever co-written a fic before? not really, i've thrown ideas around with people especially like with noirhawk stuff but it never really coalesced

What’s your all time favorite ship? i don't knowwwww. when i was a teenager the doctor/rose was literally so important to me and honestly i was surprised at how much i cried at doomsday upon rewatch. i possibly care more about the hawkeye/margaret friendship dynamic than i do about beejhawk

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? ooh my idea for a mash tv show/movie crossover which i have some good dialogue written for and would love to be able to bring to fruition but i just dont think it's gonna happen

What are your writing strengths? i think dialogue for sure, and when it comes to fic in particular (like as opposed to my original writing) i think i'm good at character studies/keeping things very realistic and in character

What are your writing weaknesses? bc when i write as a hobby i write mostly plays, i sometimes catch myself writing prose like that, like just dialogue and what amounts to stage directions. i have to make myself think about when some internal monologue might be good, how to make things actually sound good instead of just being practical

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? you guys know i love to throw lots of yiddish in there. i wouldn't be able to write real dialogue in another language unless the character had an eighth grade level spanish education or was trying to say "the farmer is my friend" in latin

First fandom you wrote for? star wars 👍

Favorite fic you’ve written? ough hard to choose. i have to shout out mind field bc i somehow haven't mentioned it yet and the experience of writing it was so surreal and was just genuinely me trying to convey how it had felt to be in my brain for a year or so through projecting onto hawkeye. and the fact that everyone liked it was bonus. BUT my actually favorite might be with friends like these, who needs enemies?, my hawkeye/margaret slow burn friendship fic and margaret deep dive. i want to make everyone read it and care about them as much as i do mwah
