Letter to Sandiedog3
Hi Skippy-Since I can’t write to Sandiedog3 personally, I am submitting this to you. If you think it is OK to run with on your site, I greatly appreciate it. PS-Art class starts soon. :-) Pilgrim
Your letter today, Jan 3rd, was spot on. First, enjoy the little ones and then take a long, guilt-free rest! As for the news which is totally upside down and very depressing, I have reached the same unsettled plateau as you. Now that the IGLBW is not posting untold puff pieces each day on how beautiful, rich, royal, pregnant and smart she is, it seems our job shining daylight on that “vampire” is done, as the word is out. When she first hit the headlines, I could not believe what she was up to and had to join the fight against her non-stop lies. That led me into the royal world which I had not studied in depth…just the People Magazine covers of Princess Di, her wedding, marriage, funeral, Fergie’s messes…the usual.
Here with Skippy and all of you educating me about the Commonwealth, I grew to admire and then love Her Majesty ERII. How she made it look so normal is the sign of a consummate pro. Her brilliant halo of modest honesty is sorely missed. Being the same age as Charles, (yep), watching his moves since those articles in our Junior Scholastic Magazines, I have finally taken off the tired, rose-tinted glasses like the boy in the tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” There for all to see is the same pampered, sly, single-minded, oligarch he has always been. Raised on the teat of power, protected by great wealth, “they” are not like us. They don’t really like us, even if they do attend our public events, seemingly engaged. They will keep $iphoning off the backs of their people because that is their mission in life and they can.
Here, we had a tea party and somehow managed to win the Revolution…those 20% who make things happen are truly astounding. Unfortunately, right now, the US is flunking managing a Democratic Republic and is filled with our own super rich oligarchs grabbing control. We are slipping each day and most of us see it happening while they build huge yachts or bunkers on islands while flying in private jets to go shopping, or a party and of course another vacation. So superior and above the fray…literally.
Crime and illegal immigrant stats here are off the charts! A new historic high of 2.5 million illegal migrants at the southern border in 2023 is recorded. “A total of 341,392 illegal aliens crossed in Sept 2023-an increase of nearly 40,000 over August.” Unvetted, they are secretly bussed or flown to major cities where they demand free housing, free education, free healthcare, jobs and a driver’s license which means they can vote!!!?? They are not even US citizens and can’t speak or read English! Here on the Cape many are infected with tuberculosis. It seems we don’t even have our one sacred vote because the system is compromised. Millions of us are quietly furious at the wide-spread corruption which just keeps getting worse as police are leaving their jobs in droves. Individual states are standing by their own governing laws to do the job the Federal gov refuses to do.
KCIII can use organic farming, infrastructure and fear mongering climate change for his reign. In reality, people don’t change and actions speak louder than words like his royal refusal to “read the room.” Exhibit 1-His coronation. Camilla made queen. Harry in attendance! Ahhh well, it is only a wink in time as far as the earth is concerned and we have Atlas to thank for holding up the sky.

Flirty!Xiao x Reader
“0h, I see a cutie.” You heard a voice behind you, making you giggle. Turning around, you faced the adeptus. He donned his usual revealing red outfit. At this point, you were sure you could spot him a mile away. Not that you really needed to look for him that far, all you needed to do was say his name and he was in front of you within seconds.
“Hello to you too, Xiao.” The man gave you a smile and leaned in really close, which made you inch back just a bit.
“Something’s off about you…” he commented, letting his eyes glide over the smooth skin of your face. You tilted your head, curious as to what he was insinuating.
“What do you mean?”
“Oh, right. You look even more beautiful today.” A laugh escaped your lips before you shook your head.
“You sound so desperate.”
“I am desperate- for you.” Xiao was a good friend of yours and he was a HUGE flirt. He was never shy about giving out compliments or anything and if he liked someone- oh boy. He was even pushier. Though, you never disliked it. You returned his feelings too, you just… had a hard time believing they were real.
“You just never stop.” You commented, crossing your arms. Though you wanted to pretend to be mad, you had a giant smile on your face. This, in turn, made Xiao smile as well.
“Yeah but it keeps your eyes on me. I’ll do anything to make sure you never look away, cutie.” At his words, you immediately covered your eyes, a giggle escaping you. Xiao chuckled and walked towards you, gently placing his hands over yours. You could feel the warmth that radiated off of him as he slowly pulled your hands away from your face. His own visage was inches away from yours, making your cheeks heat up a bit. “There we go… gotta be able to see the most beautiful person in the world, right? You can’t hide from me.”
“Now you sound like a creep.” You teased, making the man feign offense as he backed away and placed a hand on his chest.
“You wound me!”
“Not enough, apparently, you big flirt.”
“Only with you, (y/n), only with you. What can I say? You've conqured my heart!”
“Yeah, yeah. Anyway, you wanted to discuss something with me?” Xiao tilted his head, a look of confusion on his face now.
“No, I didn’t. You wanted to talk to me, right?” Wait… Xiao wasn’t the one who wanted to see you?
“But Pocket said you wanted to speak to me.” The man stared at you before shaking his head slowly.
“No… she said you wanted to see me.” It didn’t take long for either of you to realize what she’d done. However, you found it hard to be upset with her. This was probably the only thing that would’ve ever gotten you to confess. So, you decided to take your friend’s “suggestion”. Taking a deep breath, you looked at the man before you and opened your mouth.
“Xiao I-”
“I’m in love with you.” He said, cutting you off. You jumped, unable to believe the words that slipped from his lips. The man took a step back before looking at you. Your heart fluttered at the heavy emotions that seemed to pool in his beautiful emerald eyes.
“Wh-what…”
“I know I flirt a lot- and with everyone. But, I want you to know after I realized my feelings for you, I stopped. I want you to understand that I only want to devote myself to you.”
“I-I… but you. I don’t get it…”
“I come when you call,” he chuckled, looking away with red cheeks, “I always listen to you, I’ll drop anything to be beside you, and no matter what happens… I’ll never be your enemy.”
“What if I wanted to end the world?” You asked, completely unaware of the words even forming in your mind.
“Heh… then I’d end the world with you.” His response broke you from your trance as you swallowed hard, finally coming to terms with everything. “Even if the world turns on you… I’ll always stand by your side. I’ll go against everyone just to be with you.”
Unable to even think of a response, you just chose to walk to him and wrap your arms around his waist. Leaning your head against his chest, you closed your eyes. Xiao immediately returned the hug, albeit very tightly.
You didn’t need to speak because you had told him everything just from this gesture. And he no longer needed to prove himself because you believed every word that fell from his sweet lips.
BONUS
As you two parted, you saw the mischievous little elf running your way. Pocket finally stopped in front of you, breathing heavily.
“Sorry-”
“It’s ok,” you interrupted with a smile, “your little plan worked.” She stood up straight and tilted her head.
“Yeah, we did it. Though I feel like there was a better way to go about this.” Xiao said, wrapping his arm around your waist. You were about to push him off but you realized you two had just confessed minutes ago. It was still very new to you.
“Did what? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms.
“Come on now, Pocket. We know you wanted us to confess. That’s why you set us up here.” Silence reigned in the space as Pocket tried to process your words.
“What?! I didn’t do anything!”
“But you said he wanted to talk to me!” You argued back, making Pocket shake her head.
“No! I said I wanted to talk to both of you! And that was going to make you two wanna talk it out so it was best we all meet together”
“Wait a minute-” you said, your eyes widening, “you weren’t trying to set us up?!”
“NO!” You and Xiao immediately looked at each other, cheeks going red. “Oh…” Pocket immediately realized what was happening and took a step back. “I uh f-forgot! I had something to do ove-over in Liyue! Ok bye, love you!” With that, she was gone.
Well… at least it all worked out in the end.

Another big beauty found secondhand. Lilies are my favorite so I’m a fan of the framing. The entire background is stained glass effect enamel paint, so this one is really fun to hold up against the sunlight.

Ok I love the fact that Syaoran and Kurogane think they’re investigating Unusual Activity that will lead them to the feather.
And what they’re actually doing is following the Main Storyline Quest for the Outo MMORPG.
Erii is all “Oh there’s a new type of Oni! They’re SO BEAUTIFUL and NO-ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE but you should definitely go to the CLOVER BAR and you will probably FIND WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR.”
And like. It’s Oruha all along. The secret final boss hiding in plain sight, and Erii is pointing them straight towards the next Quest Marker.
I’d LOVE to see how this plotline is supposed to play out for actual players, but naturally Seishirou ruins our fun before we can get that far. As always.
But still! I love Outo.

The Game doesn’t explain all this but
Herzog separates the boys as Tachibana, sending Chisei to be the leader of the Gen clan. Chisei will be his Sword and Chime will be his Shield.
Herzog as Osho gives Chime (the stronger of the boys) the ‘evolution pill’ (Molotov cocktail) serum of dragon blood. Chime doesn’t turn evil immediately but becomes more beautiful and more attractive.
Herzog as Osho uses the woodblock sound to cause Chime to start killing people in the village.
Herzog as Tachibana assigns Chisei to kill Chime, widening the rift between the two brothers. Chisei thinks his brother is dead by his own hand but has no idea how powerful a state Chime was in when he died.
Herzog as Osho takes Chime to the Kabuki theater and fake resurrects him before the Devil Clan as their dragon lord.
Herzog as Tachibana starts the war between the Devil Clan and the Hydra in an effort to cover his tracks and get rid of the other experimental people (such as Kogure). Herzog as Osho allows Hydra under Chisei (his Sword) to kill most of the Devil Clan members.
But things go awry when Erii, his essential vessel, is taken by the Cassell team and the plan can’t move forward until she’s returned. Herzog as Tachibana continues to bait Chisei saying that Erii is his precious daughter and he really would like her to live a good life. Herzog as Osho allows his phone to be tapped so that Ruri Kazama can pass information of a fake ‘meeting’ between his two personas (Tachibana and Osho).
Tokyo Tower is a trap. It’s crawling with the most powerful deadpool. Herzog hopes that everyone will die. But things again don’t work out as planned for him. Once its clear that Chisei, Chime and the Cassell team have escaped, he kills off his Tachibana sock puppet because guess what?
Erii is back! He doesn’t really need Chime or Chisei any more now. But he does need to get rid of them. He manages to remove Ruri from Chime using the woodblock but the Cassell team (mainly Luminous) stops Osho from killing him and take him to the Takamagahara.
Chime wants to meet his brother and reconcile now that he’s in his right mind. But this turns out to be a colossal mistake. Osho tracks Chime down there, dumps a bunch of death servitors on them and uses the Woodblock to make Ruri attack his brother and seriously wound him.
When they’re at the red well, he uses the same tactic. Chisei can’t get to Osho because Osho makes his brother defend him every time he does. Ruri attacks Chisei in the red well and doesn’t stop attacking him until he’s dead for real this time.

Dragon Raja IV - Chapters 11 & 12 (Abridged)
Hi everyone!
Today's chapters are a little slower than the previous ones, but they have a lot of insight on Nono, Luminous and the nature of their relationship. I also kept more of the original dialog for the same reason.
BTW, this is the point where the illustrations suddenly stopped for some reason so... No more drawings :P
Previous chapters.
Chapter 11
A girl waited in the top lobby of the Black Prince International Financial Center. At 21 years old, Tu Xiaojiao was already known as the "Sophie Marceau of China". She was in that building to meet the legendary "Master Shao", the inheritor of this powerful organization. If anyone else in the world made Miss Tu wait for more than half an hour, she would leave the place immediately, but Mr. Shao was different, he could offer her the role of her life, so she decided to stay in the waiting room.
When the receptionist finally allowed her to enter Shao's office, she found him next to the window, reading a poem out loud. She had to wait for him to finish for fifteen minutes, her high heels started making her feet feel numb, wondering if he was mocking her, Shao didn't even notice her presence. To her dismay, once he finally saw her in his office, it didn't make much of a difference, since Shao only had one topic in his mind, his adored senior was back.
Miss Tu tried to be polite, and asked to know more about this "senior" girl. When Shao was younger, he had a girlfriend, she was actually one year younger than him, but she demanded to be referred as his senior and he obsessed over her for the rest of his life. He even showed miss Xiaojiao a picture of himself and his senior back when they were a couple. Tu Xiaojiao was confused, in the tiny photograph, there were two children, one looked like Shao and by his side, there was a girl who seemed completely indifferent towards him. This was cut from a kindergarten group photo, and he carried it in his wallet ever since.
Shao had everything at his disposal since he was born, his focus in the entertainment industry was nothing but a hobby. He could visit any place that he wanted, he could buy any piece of clothing and of course, he could date some of the most beautiful women in the world. But he didn't want any of them as his wife. The woman of his life had to be someone who would make him beg for her affection, someone who would make him kneel in her presence. The only woman who could make that to him, was Chen Motong.
Every time that Miss Chen came back to the country, he felt like a five year old all over again, but getting her heart wouldn't be an easy task. She acted cold and demanding, when she arrived he asked her out for dinner but she just wanted to borrow a car from him and left. He heard about an Italian man, apparently her boyfriend and he couldn't learn anything else about him, it was driving him crazy, but he received some information that brought some hope back into his eyes. Miss Chen had a friend in town, and he was in the hospital. Shao left his office with Miss Tu in it, on his way to meet Mr Luminous.
Young Lu was also disheartened because of Nono, although, his reasons were different. His 91st attempt to save her also ended in failure. When he realized that they were once again going to die, Nono desperately tried to make him react, but he lazily waited in the car seat for the whole scenario to restart, frustrated and annoyed, as the gravity of the situation slowly became less palpable. He looked to his side and saw Nono's face looking at him. Her expression was as ruthless as ever but in her eyes he saw deep sadness, he almost felt like hugging her before they died but the simulation ended. To him, death meant that he would have to start all over again, but for Nono, every single time it meant a genuine end.
To interrupt his depression, a young, short, overweight man entered his room. He called himself a friend of Miss Chen and Luminous thought for a second that she sent him there to get him out of the hospital, but Shao was there to speak.
He started making questions, in particular, who was this Italian scumbag that he heard about? Tragically for him, Luminous spoke highly of Caesar's fortune, personality and actions, and to make matters worse, he wasn't only Chen's boyfriend, but her fiancé.
A depressed Shao proceeded to tell an anecdote from his childhood. When he was studying in the United Kingdom, Shao felt belittled next to ehe aristocratic children that studied with him, so he started bragging about his own family's wealth and promising other kids money for listening to him, when he tried to show off in front of Nono, she beat him up and told him to call her "Senior Sister".
The school's Rugby matches also got violent, Shao played aggressively, so the other kids retaliated against his attitude by deliberately kicking him in the face and hitting him with the ball. His front teeth got broken as there was no coach present to stop them. He sat down on the grass, defeated, when Nono took his place in the match, she fearlessly rushed into a defense of fifteen boys while Shao swore to his heart that one day he would marry that girl, even if he had to kneel and crawl in front of her.
Shao compared himself to the protagonist form "The Great Gatsby", who desperately needed to be with his love interest, Miss Daisy.
-Why should a girl be with a man who needs her?
She should be with a man she needs. My senior sister doesn't need me, I am the one who needs her.
Before Shao left, Luminous reminded him of a scene in "Journey to the West" where Tang Sanzang found a silly monkey who lived behind a waterfall. The cowardly monkey recognized Tang's strength and left his hidden home to follow him around the world. There are two types of monkeys in the world, the smart ones that can survive out there on their own, and the silly ones, who need a master they look up to.
Shao understood his metaphor and he felt encouraged. Realizing he could trust the strange mental patient enough to untie one of his hands, Shao gave Luminous a can of beer and they toasted. When Shao left, Luminous took a syringe from the side table and injected himself with more sedatives. This was his 92nd attempt.
Shao returned to his office, motivated and lively.
-I met a new brother today!
He encouraged me to come back here, he's a philosopher and his words are very touching!
People living in mental hospitals are all experts in this kind of stuff.
He realized that he left without saying goodbye to Miss Tu, but his apology wasn't answered, because the girl in his office was Nono. She was drinking, looking tired, she didn't wear any makeup and silently stared at the window.
Shao was determined to win her over, but Nono answered most of his questions briefly and coldly. She didn't want to speak with him, she was just there to return the car keys and now she wanted to leave.
Shao's pitiful voice tone softened her attitude a little so she asked him for some gin with ice. Nono drank the whole glass in one sip and asked for a refill. She had another glass, and another.
- Senior sister, is someone bullying you?
- Who could possibly bully me?
- Usually no one, but aren't you engaged now?
- Caesar wouldn't do that, don't worry about it, just take care of yourself.
- Are you really going to marry an Italian? Those guys spend their money so recklessly!
- Could you give me a better reason not to marry him? Who are you to say those things? Stop messing around and just confess your intentions.
- I'm your boyfriend from kindergarten! If you gave me a chance instead I could be endlessly more confident and...
- You? "Endless"? Nono was so angry that she laughed.
Shao Kneeled and asked Nono to be his girlfriend instead. He kneeled in one knee, so she asked him to kneel on both like he used to, and he did, but not for begging, he used to do so as punishment. Nono didn't like his subservient attitude.
- We were just classmates, I was wrong to treat you so hardly, but you don't have to hold on to me, I am engaged and you could marry just anyone.
Shao kept begging, Nono deflected every single one of his arguments until he recited Luminous's "Journey to the west" reference. His delivery was incredible, but she had no reaction to it, she looked at her glass with tired eyes. She got up on her feet and entered the elevator.
After she left, Shao was avidly celebrating, he interpreted her reaction as progress and showed off in front of his employees.
Nono stopped at a small ramen restaurant to warm up her rain-soaked body. Chu Tianjiao was her last clue and she lost it. If Luminous was actually sick, why didn't she give up on him yet?
Why did she feel the need to insist on his case? This wasn't only about her, every moment she spent in the middle of nowhere, escaping from the secret party, she got Caesar in trouble. How was she supposed to explain this to them?
She had to admit that she cared too much about Luminous's well-being. She wouldn't doubt to give him her diving suit, she immediately called him last year when she and Caesar were overwhelmed by Scythe ferrets to warn him of the impending danger and now that the whole world was against him, she kept insisting on proving his sanity. Regarding his feelings for her, she comforted herself with positive thoughts. Who didn't have a crush on a senior girl at some point in his life?
Zero was great for him, so was Isabelle, if she had known Erii in person, Nono would have considered them to be "such a fucking perfect match".
Over the last few years, this petty boy had grown up, he became more energetic, better dressed and gained so much experience, yet he kept holding on to her. She left Shao's office without saying a word because she recognized those words belonged to Luminous. They were about Luminous.
- Chen motong, you're such a fool, you messed everything up.
Chapter 12
An exhausted Su Xiaoyao leaned back on her office chair, she had spent a long day on work meetings and in the middle of the night her phone kept ringing. This was her life ever since she had to leave school to take over her father's business. She had gained some weight ever since but no one really cared, she was still one of the top bachelorettes in the city and she had just accepted a blind date, excited to take a break.
During the student reunion, seeing Luminous made her cry a little. It wasn't because she used to have a crush on him during their high school years, she just realized that those carefree days would never repeat themselves. Back in the day, she and the other girls used to sit on the basketball courts to see Luminous play basketball. Even the air felt different.
Su took her high heels off and put her feet on her desk to take a quick nap, but her phone interrupted her attempt to display an urgent text message. It was Liu Miaomiao, her old rival in love.
- Su Xiaoyao, find a way to get here, quick! They put our senior brother in a mental hospital!
Game level: Gungir light, 101st load.
- So, where did you get that rocket launcher again?
- I found it under the seat...
The whole fight seemed extremely rehearsed by now, Luminous always knew exactly where to shoot, it almost looked like he could predict the future.
- Did you learn that in your special training? I want to take that special training too!
Nono slowly became the most problematic element in the simulations, she didn't retain her memories after every attempt like he did. This was probably the first time Luminous felt something other than absolute admiration towards her, she became a little annoying, but he couldn't really blame her. They got in the car and tried to escape, but one of the tires was damaged.
- Are you hungry? I just found some nuts in this car!
He knew Nono was trying to calm him but he was still a little anxious, he repeated the steps to replace the tire in his mind but the car-wheel escaped his hands and rolled over the highway.
His tantrum surprised Nono, who dropped her snacks all over the floor. Ming·Z paused time and got out of the car.
He noticed that Luminous asked to reset his last six attempts instead of waiting for his death, he seemed far more tired than usual after his conversation with Shao, it made him reflect about his feelings for Nono to the point of getting distracted in battle.
- First of all, I'm not the only monkey that she brought out from the waterfall, second, I am the one who needs her, she doesn't need me.
- Brother, I expected you to regret going to Cassell College, you wouldn't be so sad otherwise.
- I don't regret it, if I hadn't gone to Cassell College, I wouldn't know my senior brother nor my senior sister or the boss, nor would I know Finger, the Japanese "Lonesome George" brothers... And Erii.
Luminous ignored Ming·Z's snarky remarks and got a better hold of his feelings.
- I always ran after my senior sister, I like her so much that it makes me very sad that I can't be with her. Caesar was born with everything, he could have married any girl he liked but he picked the only one I cared about.
Suddenly I realized that I'm wrong, that was just wishful thinking on my part.
There are more people for me out there, Erii liked me, but Nono was the only one I had eyes for. Nono doesn't need me, I'm the one who feels at ease when I follow her, like she'll feel relieved when she marries the boss. She wouldn't feel like that if she were with me and to pursue her is to act on my most selfish side, why did my senior brother support me?
- Your senior brother wasn't that upright, don't you think?
- Finally, are you willing to admit that he's real?
- Okay okay, Johann Chu really does exist, but there is something wrong with him and you need to get him back"
- Then I'm relieved.
Ming·Z confirmed more things, the city was closed on all exits due to the weather conditions and the Nibelungen was invading their reality on a large scale.
- Thank you, Ming·Z·Lu. Why do you call yourself Ming·Z? You deliberately used my cousin's name"
- No, my name is Ming·Z·Lu, there has always been a Ming·Z·Lu in your life and that's me, not the fat boy in your uncle's house.
Luminous went back to the car, picked the dozens of floating snacks and put them back in Nono's palm one by one.
- Sister, don't worry, you will be fine, I will definitely find a way, I changed my mind, I will attend your wedding, I'll see you in your white dress holding orange flowers, walking on a red carpet full of happiness... Maybe you should throw the bouquet in my direction.
Three girls were sobbing next to his bed when he woke up, Chen Wenwen was the first face he recognized, followed by Su Xiaoyao and Liu Miaomiao. Su was one of the most influential persons in town, so she demanded that her old classmate got released from the hospital.
They took him out on a car and decided to stop on a luxurious bar. They all felt a little insecure about what they were wearing, so Su Xiaoyao asked her driver to bring them their old school uniforms.
Sitting at the bar, after multiple drinks, the girls kept reminiscing of their old days in high school, Luminous past in this reality was the same as Johann's, including his Saxophone recitals at the cultural festivals. He used to envy Johann so much back then...
He stood up and told everyone that he was going to the bathroom, but he changed back to his normal clothes and got out of the bar. A man with a motorized tricycle was waiting for potential passengers outside and Luminous gave him his expensive watch as insurance for borrowing his small vehicle.
He drove all the way to the Number 10 highway and entered the Nibelungen again. Odin was waiting for him far away, he didn't say a word but he slowly raised his lance. Luminous turned around and left the god's prison.
Back in his old apartment, Finger had befriended Luminous's aunt and kept doing shores for her. Nono came back to the place and they argued about their course of action.
- If I had known this was going to happen, I wouldn't have rescued him from that theater.
- Feels like you stepped in bubble gum and you can't take it off.
Finger suddenly left the room and came back with the news, Luminous had left the hospital with three old classmates. Nono grabbed an umbrella and ran out. She knew the bar and she knew about Su Xiaoyao, they weren't going to be hard to find.
By the time she arrived, the three girls were arguing after Luminous left. They actually tried to blame each other, the way they admired him was surprising to Nono. Suddenly, Luminous came back and justified his absence by saying that he went to a convenience store to get something to eat.
Nono watched them from the dark, feeling really stupid, there was a strange obsession that she couldn't let go of. In fact, she should have driven away the silly monkey that pestered her long ago, the more she helped him, the more he would rely on her. This wasn't good for any of them, but she couldn't bear to refuse.
She was afraid that he would end up crying alone in the wilderness, where no one could listen to him. She hoped that one day he could become one of those smart monkeys who run around happily, but maybe this silly monkey was smart from the beginning and she was pitying someone who didn't really need her.
She strolled under the heavy rain, her clothes were soaking and stuck to her body, it was a long way back to the uncle's house but she wanted to walk alone. She felt colder and colder and for the first time in her life she missed the Golden Iris Academy. She felt like going to a ramen stand again but there were no businesses in sight, however, there was a phone booth.
One call, that's all she needed to give away her location, Caesar made her memorize an emergency number long ago, it was the right thing to do, the person she should trust the most in this situation was not Finger or Luminous, but Caesar. Dialing felt like betraying her old classmates, but she started pressing the numbers.
"No, no, no, no, no, don't be like this, don't be like this"
Subconsciously, she looked aside and saw a small boy in the rain, looking at her from the other side of the glass. What was such a young boy doing out there on his own?
He was delicate and beautiful, like a porcelain doll.
- Are you looking for me? She asked.
The expressionless face of the boy slowly got horrifyingly distorted by the raindrops on the glass. She couldn't breathe due to an overwhelming sadness, so she opened the door but the boy was not there anymore. She took the calling card out of the booth and hanged up the phone.
Rome, Italy.
Caesar was waiting in front of a phone, he was under a lot of pressure, but the moment he received Nono's call, all of his problems would be over, yet the phone was silent.
The family elders felt like Luminous had stolen something that belonged to their heir, so they suggested that he cancelled his marriage.
- No, there are only two people in this world who can dissolve that engagement, Nono and me.
To avoid being put under heavy suspicion, he had to act calm and decisive, like he did a few days ago, when he released the monsters from the ice cellar to find the fugitives. Parsi entered the room and informed Caesar about the worsening weather conditions in Beijing, this type of climate phenomenons usually signaled the awakening of powerful dragons.
Luminous, the never-existing Johann Chu, the grim reaper, it was all starting to make sense. Caesar instructed Parsi to prepare his private jet and his desert eagles, he also dissuaded Parsi from going with him. At the lionheart club, president Babru informed the former president and dragon slayer Abdullah Abbas that Caesar wanted to team up with him to hunt the dragon down.
Intrigued, Abdullah accepted and instructed everyone to get ready.

The Siblings

Silence fell upon the room as the news was broken. The three sat down at the table, with Chime and Erii facing each other.
The only sounds to be heard were the chirping of birds and the rushing water from the garden outside.
Chisei, who was sitting in front of the alcove, turned left and then right to see both of his brother and sister. Chime was indeed surprised, but he took the news with composure; while Erii, on the other hand, could not stop drawing all kinds of expressions on her notebook.
“So...” Chisei decided to speak; after all, he was the eldest, though Chime was his twin. “We are all here... Children of the ex Lord of Shadow... I’m glad that we have this chance to meet... to reunite, after all that has happened...”
A tear found its way down Chime’s cheek. He was so beautiful, almost unreal. With a graceful gesture, he wiped the tear away with the sleeve of his kimono, and said.
“Please, pardon me... I never knew I had a younger sister... I...”
He placed both hands on his chest, with eyes closed and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
“I’m sorry,” said Chisei, “To both of you. I should have told you a long tome ago...”
“We cannot change the past.” Chime comforted his twin brother. “But your effort to bring us together is appreciated. My words cannot express how happy I am... I...” His voice trembled. “I have a family again...”
His tears streamed down, glowing as diamonds under the sunlight which filled the room. Erii wrote something on her notebook, then showed it to Chime. It was a doodle of two figures embracing each other; Chime realised it almost instantly that the two were Erii and himself. She also wrote: “Don’t cry. I’m very happy to know that I have another brother!”
“I won’t cry.” Chime once again wiped his tears. “I’ll stop crying now.” And he smiled. He took the small notebook and pencil on the table in front of him and wrote. “Nice to meet you, Erii. I’m your brother, Chime.”
Chisei raised a brow in curiosity. His twin explained, “Well, when you said we would see Erii here, I prepared these, to talk with her.”
Erii seemed happier than ever. She wrote, “Whoa! You’re the first one to talk with me like this! I really like you!” And she added a bunch of small hearts on the page.
Chime smiled gently. He was more than happy.
“Seeing you two like this, all my worries were nothing.” Chisei smiled as well. “I thought it would be hard for the three of us...”
“I’m sure Erii and I will get along just fine, brother.”
Erii nodded in agreement.
“This feels like a dream. Do you know that I’ve always wanted to have a younger sister? I would braid her hair and choose the fabrics that make kimono for her...” Chime wrote on his notebook.
“Ooooooh! Would you go shopping for skirts with me?”
“Of course.”
“And eat fried rice together?”
“Anything for you, Erii.”
“But what do you want to eat, brother Chime?”
“Ramen. I’m learning how to make it too. One day, I’ll make it for you and Chisei.”
“Yayyyyyyyyyy! (๑>◡<๑)”
Chisei took a sip of his tea. He could not help but smile and watch the ongoing conversation between his younger siblings on the notebooks. The days of old came back to him. But this time, he was no longer tormented. He felt peace, for once, after all these years.

Today has made me feel even more proud to be British, and I love the sheer breadth of representation within our military so I like to think it silently shuts down the lies of inherent and unaccounted for racism via non representation in our military. My father served as a police officer and in the army in our country of Grenada, and proudly bore the ERII emblem and my parents remember her visiting when they were children. HMTQ will always be beloved and valued and her family have done ever so much to right the wrongs of yesteryear, something no other empire has dared to do. Long may our royalty, military of every branch, and society appreciate how truly wondrous and symbolic these last days and 1200+ years have been. May HMTQ rest in heavenly eternal peace, blessings to her as she meets her parents, sister, and beloved Phillip for eternity, with many corgis excitedly running to greet her. Take comfort in knowing how symbolic HMTQ funeral service was, she made it very clear that there is victory in death, and subtle hints that with God, evil cannot win, no matter how close we must keep our enemies. Everything is and will fall into place when the time comes, let the noise of bitterness, resentment, and plotting wash away for the kingdom, the power, and the glory will continue to burst through, The Queen has left us in the flesh but remains an ever protecting and powerful force over all of us, as her father did for her. Have faith, trust the process, and never forget…The Crown Always Wins✨

Vacation Disaster (Part 1)
Author’s Note: Thanks to @kouryuu16 who provided the prompt in regards to the new location in Dragon Raja involving a cruise ship, I wrote my first DR fic. And it’s a bit AU-ish because I went with a happy ending (yes, I’ve seen spoilers of what happened. And screw canon, I’m changing it). 😤
And as you can tell by the title of the fic and the ending, you can safely assumed there’s going to be part 2 of this fic. And I’m opened to more suggestion in the next part if you like. Summary: The gang received tickets from the Principal of Cassell College on a cruise ship as a reward and a vacation break from their duties. But things did not go according to plan...
Everything appears to be clad in darkness, and although she couldn’t open her eyes, nineteen...almost twenty-year old Mika could hear the sounds of the waves from the sea and the seagulls crying. It wasn’t until she felt something poking her on the side or head that stirred her from her unconsciousness.
...Wait? Poking?
Mika finally opened her light, blue eyes only to blurry, recognizing a familiar reddish, orangish-headed woman with crimson eyes and beautiful pale skin complexion wearing a simple white, summer dress. And with a worry look in her eyes (and slight amusement), she was poking the bluenette with a stick.
“What in the...Erii?” Mika groaned, recognizing the former chief of the Uesugi Clan and slowly sat up, wincing from the pounding, vice grip feeling from her head and taking in her surroundings. Seeing all the sand, palm trees, and the ocean with literally no one else around them, Mika abruptly comes to a conclusion that they’re on an island in the middle of nowhere.
“Oh...oh crap!” The S-Rank female hybrid panicked and stood up, “This is not good! Where is everyone?!”
Before the young woman can start searching around the island, Erii firmly, but gently pulls on Mika’s arm to get her attention. The red-head hybrid pointed to the sandy area across from them, where Mika saw another red-headed woman, similar to Erii only that this woman’s hair takes more of the crimson color. The S-Rank Hybrid recognized her as Chen Motong, or rather “Nono” as most people called her, and quickly went over to wake her up.
“Nono. Nono, wake up!” Mika told her as she shook the crimson head by the shoulder. As the older woman slowly woke up, she recognized Mika and Erii next to her and slowly sat up, rubbing the side of her head.
“Ow. Where in the world are we?” Nono asked the two other women.
“Stuck in the island, unfortunately,” Mika pointed out, “I don’t even know which island we’re exactly at.”
Nono sighed at that, “I supposed this is what happens when we take a vacation on the cruise in the middle of a storm that nobody expects.”
“...You seemed really calm about this.”
“Not really,” The crimson hair shook her head, “I’m still concerned about the situation we’re in and everyone else, but when you’re on a dangerous mission like this, you’ll get used to adapting them. Was anyone else here?
Mika shook her head. Erii responded by writing something on the sand. Which is a bit odd to the other two women since they’re used to seeing Erii writing on her notebook if she wants to say something. But then again, she doesn’t have one with her right now, which is understandable.
“When I woke up, I only saw Mika-chan and Nono-nee san here, unconscious. I don’t even know where Sakura (Luminous) and my brothers are.” The red-orange head wrote, adding a sad face with a single teardrop at the end.
Then it dawned on everyone else what just happened. Long story short with what happened at the beginning, the Cassell Team consisting of Mika, Luminous (Lu Mingfei), Nono, Caesar, Johann, and Fingel received tickets from Principal Anjou to a cruise trip across the Pacific Ocean, with the latter believing that these six students deserve a break from their missions and college exams. Almost everyone in the team was excited to receive those tickets and decided to go on the vacation since it appears to be a one life opportunity. They were only on the cruise ships for a couple of days so far, and within those days, they came across the Gen siblings (consisting of Chisei, Chime, and Erii) whom one of them manages to win a lottery to the same cruise they were on. It turned out to be a mostly friendly reunion after that horrifying, tragic event (and we’ll not speak of it again for few of the people’s sake).
The third day of the trip, the gang went separately to explore more of the ship and do their own things while waiting for their next destination. Luminous was somewhere in the arcade. Fingel probably went around to find gossips and flirt with other women. Caesar would be somewhere holding conversations with other rich people. Johann...don’t know where he’s at. He’s usually silent about it. Chisei is sunbathing outside near the pool (and gathering ideas for his sunscreen brand). Chime would probably be looking at different opera to explore more musical arts coming from different cultures. The three women were the only ones in a group, and were looking at a boutique store to see if they could find any even dresses they could wear to attend one of the dinner parties where Caesar managed to get everyone else invited.
...Well obviously, it turns out that the party isn’t gonna happen anytime soon, because the ship was rocking back and forth rather abnormally and once they managed to take a look outside, a storm hit. Which caused panic to the people around them. And then, being the agents of a secret dragon slayer society, the gang tried to get the passengers to safety on the other boats, only the ship to finally tip over and throw everyone else overboard. And then you can guess what happened to the Cassell gang and the siblings.
Seeing the sad look on Erii’s face, Mika hugged the poor girl while Nono patted her on the head.
“Don’t worry, we’ll find them,” Nono told the other red-head, reassuringly, “Until then, big sis Nono and big sis Mika will take good care of you.”
That got Erii to smile a little bit and drew a happy face with a few hearts on the sand. Just then, the three women heard a familiar scream coming from the middle of the island where the palm trees are at.
“...Was that Luminous?” Mika asked in concern.
“...Yes, that’s definitely Luminous.” The crimson head confirmed. Erii nodded in agreement.
And then the three ran off to find their friends on an unknown island full of mysteries...

🛑⚠️Dragon Raja Spoilers/Trigger Warnings⚠️🛑
(So the events I will be talking about is a gold side quest, and an event happening when you hit level 85. (All from a male perspective as my MC is male)
✋Side Quest BTW is called 'The Innocents' if you don't want to face any Triggering material✋

°Again some spoilers and Trigger Warning for a Gold side quest
°Also the level 85 spoiler was the only time I felt a different emotion then confusion (which isn't surprising tbh) and made me want to make this post. I may add more to it as I progress in the game.)
Can we talk about how mentally damaged the MC is? Like from the beginning your orphanage/everyone you know is perceived dead. Even before that you see someone who you can perceive is your father figure (Herzog) torture Anton. And like yeah he was a dick, but he didn't deserve the torture. Then you wake up in Cassell 20 years later. (Like wtf?) Not to mention when you hit level 85 you see Herzog (Ghost? Projection?) and learn the truth of why Black Swan Bay was destroyed and their intent of forcing the orphans to be dragons when they become strong enough. AND NO ONE FUCKING TALKED ABOUT IT AFTER?!?!!?? LIKE CHISEI GEN KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED AND YEAH I FEEL BAD THAT YOUR DAD DIED BUT MINE WAS GONNA MAKE ME BECOME A DRAGON AND POTENTIALLY KILLED MY CHILDHOOD FRIENDS/SIBLINGS. BUT HOW COME I HAVE TO COMFORT LUMINOUS WHEN HE AND ERII CANT BE TOGETHER OR HIS CONFUSING FEELINGS FOR NONO. WHAT ABOUT ME??? I'VE GOT NO FAMILY AND Y'ALL ARE MY NEW FAMILY! IM GOING THROUGH SOME REAL SHIT AND YOU AIN'T NO HOMIE HERE. LIKE WHAT THE FUCKING HELL AM I TO Y'ALL?? NOTHING?????? I KNOW Y'ALL DON'T KNOW ME FOR THAT LONG BUT HAVE SOME HUMAN DECENCY! SERIOUSLY I HAD TO MAKE MY CHARACTER STAND IN THE CORNER AND HAVE A CRY. LIKE I FELT GENUINE SADNESS THAT NO ONE CHECKED TO SEE IF MY CHARACTER WAS OK.
Oh and I completely forgot how your boss from the host club wanted you to kill Erii during the Love Tokyo Love Story. How can you just casually ask someone that? Or just in general force me to make Erii and Luminous fall in love? Like wtf??
Double OH! When you finish the under water scene and think everyone died but nah while I was searching for all y'all's asses you guys were just being hosts while I probably went through some relapse from the events ESPECIALLY SINCE IT ALL HAPPENED RIGHT AFTER I WAKE UP FROM A 20 YEAR FUCKING COMA! HELL EVEN THE FAKE DRAGON ATTACK MUST HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE FOR THE MC

Then the side quest holy fucking shit! So the side quest is called 'The Innocents' you see a girl get abused and have to solve an attempted murder. And in the end you see the cop kill the boyfriend and himself. AND ALL THE FUCKING COLLEGE AI SAYS IS THAT THE INCIDENT WILL BE PUT INTO THE DATA FILES. NO CHECKING THE MC IF THEY ARE OK. AND SHE MUST HAVE SOME PROGRAMMING TO CHECK STUDENTS HEALTH. SERIOUSLY AM I SUPPOSE TO BE AN EMOTIONLESS SACK OF MEAT?

Don't get me wrong this game is very interesting, beautiful, and I will admit I'm intrigued to see how this will play out. But my God the MC must be going through some shit and the support system in the NPC's is shit. Like where is my comfort???
Sorry for the long ass rant (that may become longer in the future. Gotta see how this all plays out.) But I just really needed this off my chest. May even talk about more of the side quests that I see mental issues with. We will have to see.

As they entered the salon all the girls put money towards Sam getting her hair straightened even Vera put some of her pocket money as she wanted to see as well
“Your doing a dare that we asked you to so we will pay,” Susie said kindly
The hair stylist took Sam and she sat her in the chair the woman doing her wild curly red hair played with it a little
“Such a gorgeous hair and colour what are we haveing done with it?” The woman asked
But before she replied Diawai spoke for her
“She would like it straightened,” the porcelain white sink woman said
The hairdresser smiled
“Im glad it’s just a straightened I was horrified that you where going to dye it,” the woman said
Sam just smiled as the woman worked with her hair and fringe it took a while and all the girls started to have a chat well all but skylet as she just listen only knowing a few words form her speech therapy Diawai was reading a magazine as they where talking about the guys and what they could be doing
“Why do you think there doing?” Sam asked
*at a different location*
“OH GOD!!!,” Luminous screams
“This is not good you need to make a move now Johann,” Kioda said
“The pressure is killing me,” finger said
Erii was gaming with the boys and was playing against Johann the guys saw Erii as one of them mostly Kioda begged for her to come along since she was a bit uncomfortable with the other girls she seemed more comfortable here and Kioda was happy that his best friend was ok with one move Kioda sees the Erii had won everyone on Eriis team ceared
*back with the girls*
“Eh there probably just sitting round maybe Long is cooking,” Sky said
“I love it w-when Long c-c-cooks both him and S-Sam,” Vera stammered
“You guys you got me hungry now,” Nono said
“Me to,” skylet said just barely
“Ok and done,” the hairdresser said
They all held there breth in anticipation as they see Sam with straight hair they all gasp
“So how is it?” She asked
“It’s well it’s,” Nono said
“Beautiful,” Sky said
“Different,” Susie said
“Wow,” Vera said
“Cute Zero will love it,” Diawai said
Sam smiled she thanked the woman who did her hair
Back at the house zero was walking up and down waiting anxiously for the end result as the girls got back they told Sam to wait outside
“Now introducing the new,” Sky started
“And improved,” Diawai said
“Samantha,” Nono said
Sam walk into the room
Zero eyes widen she walked over to Sam
“Do you like it?” Sam asked
Zero said nothing but took Sams hands in her own
“Zero?” Sam question
“Stop being adorable but please don’t,” she said to her
Sam laughed and they all went back to playing truth or dare and Legend hand it that guys and girls had a great meal cooked by both Long and Sam and Erii went to beet all the guys and video games.
