remember the high speed manga? released in 2015? gave aki yazaki her first official look? well i finally got around to poorly scanning the last 40 or so pages since i'm assuming a good chunk of fans still haven't come across it. it's not the best quality, but i figure it's better than nothing. enjoy besties!! :D

Revisiting an old project
Oh man, I’m really about to talk about this again...
Thanks to the forthcoming live action pulling me back to this anime, here I am, rereading my old One Piece fanfiction, the project I haven’t touched in literally six years. And I mean literally literally, I posted the last chapter i’ve ever written for this in 06/24/2017 ;-;
I won’t sugarcoat here: it’s not good. The story’s cringy, to say the least, I go too overdramatic at some points, some tropes are cliché, and it’s painfully out of sinc with the Manga at this point.
But I still love it so much.
The relationship I wrote between Luffy and Luna, for one, is a father/daughter connection that I couldn’t replicate ever since, in any of my other stories.
And it’s not even just them! All the relationships between the characters and my OCs, all the relationships between my OCS- all the lore I had created for how the One Piece world was going and all my plans for its future-!
Brats on Board started off with the simple (and admitedly overused) idea of What If some members of the Mugiwara Crew had kids and raised them in the ship. But it became so, so much more.
I’m not even kidding, I don’t think I have ever had a bigger writting project than this one, before or since, nothing that I had poured my heart and dedicated myself so much on. The only thing that could start to compare is my Ducktales’ Gen Swap AU, and even then I think I never had as much hope of writting down the complete, detailed story for the AU as I had with Brats on Board.
I love and enjoy all my projects, I wouldn’t bother writing fanfics for them if I didn’t, but this one... This one is special. Always was, always will be.
Monkey D. Luna and Roronoa Ohana are my girls. And I’m happy to getting to read them again.
I did good with them. I did.

was looking for a video to listen to in the background and I clicked on one that was like trying out a lot of cheap clothes (not like a haul, more like a challenge/test video)
and I had to switch to one about knockoff designer fashion instead, because I was being tempted by ~consumerism~
which on the one hand is kinda funny, because it speaks to how ugly most designer fashion is
but it also speaks to like. my gremlin brain. I've gotten very hyped for repairing and reusing and shit, but as it turns out I have a lot more hypothetical future ideas than actual things to do. and the ones I could do I'm being a little bitch baby about because I'm afraid of messing up. so I'm still thirsty for the New Shit I was preparing for.

so i’ve been playing pikmin bloom since it first launched (despite never having played a pikmin game before in my life) and naturally i wanted to name each and every single one of them. i thought it’d be cute to have a common theme when it came to the names, so i went with food!!
fast forward to now where i’m really getting into the series and decide to give the games a try. after learning about louie and seeing so many jokes about him eating pikmin, i’m starting to think maybe i made a mistake.
