Happy 1106 day!

1106 is also known as the Adler dorm number for Rayne Ames (and his roommate Max Land), so November 6th is commonly celebrated in the Japanese fanbase as "Rayne Ames Festival Day".

As a celebration, I've roughly translated Rayne and Max's fan book profiles under the cut! It's full of interesting information about them as an individual character that doesn't manage to get explored much in the main series, so hope you enjoy it!

Rayne, who rarely talks but always shows through his actions, makes people have a lot of trust in him, and many students follow his way too. However, his lack of words often causes many misunderstandings.

A17: Rayne (addressed as 'onii-tama here) is a tsundere, but I think they're able to get along well!

Q18: Why does Finn call Rayne with "Nii-sama" instead of "Nii-san"?

A18: Because of the distance between them...

(A/N: In the original Japanese version, Finn does not call Rayne by name, but calls him "Nii-sama", this has a lot of meaning and nuances that unfortunately are hard to translate and doesn't have an English equivalent, hence the change. "Onii-tama" on the other hand is a baby talk version of "onii-sama".)

It’s June 12! Happy International Don’t Stab Your Best Friend Day! This deserves an off-schedule special post. I was initially thinking of drawing something with Beleg and Túrin again because that would be the most logical choice, but I thought: what if I didn’t...what if I drew a different human-befriending elf who of course would have heard the story...and wonder...

And yes this was of course inspired by that one post I can’t find right now that talks about Legolas poking Aragorn with a stick from across the campsite to wake him up, just in case.

IMAGES OF CHIYOKO HISAKAWA : 1 of ???

once gaining steady income as a mangaka, chiyoko seriously contemplates a more elaborate tattoo; rather than the cute little images she's imagined here and there, she wants something truly stunning to look at. the idea strikes her one morning after managing to spill paint all over her favorite pair of shorts, a deep green running over the blue material and down her calves. wouldn't it be pretty to paint her skin much like a canvas? chiyo eventually settled on a design that looks similar to watercolor, and though the visuals above lack much color, chiyo's tattoos are deep blues, purples, and reds that fade into each other, similar to what you see in these images here ( nudity warning, though nothing explicit ). the shading would most resemble the bottom right image, filling empty space with shadow or colored gradient. her tattoo curls along her right arm, across her chest, and down the left side of her waist, hip, and leg ( as depicted in the bottom left image ). getting to this point has, of course, taken quite a bit of time, especially as chiyo had to grow comfortable enough with her tattoo artist to allow them near parts of her body that are typically concealed. the whole thing has cost her a lot of money and tears, but she's pretty proud of the art she and her tattooist created. she plans to keep adding to it in the future.

I think another reason why I prefer rogue’s hair to be huge and untamed is because I think it fits her a lot more personality wise. rogue might be southern, but she’s never fit into that southern belle type of box. she was born into a cult, and then she was raised by terrorists, and that made a major impact on the way she deals with her feelings and surroundings. rogue can be incredibly violent and aggressive. whether it be threatening remarks or just actual violence she struggles a lot with having a proper response to certain situations. she has very extreme reactions, like her commitment to being self sacrificial to those who show her kindness, or the fact that a small disagreement can lead to her beating the shit out of someone

#in the end it all boils down to not having proper guidance #when it comes to regulating her emotions #she has such complex feelings and she can’t handle them #and obviously with time she gets a better handle on it #I mean rogue is an incredibly empathetic person it comes with her powers #she can quite literally understand what you’ve been through #but she’s been raised in unhealthy environment after unhealthy environment #that anger was just the correct response #violence was the correct response #if mystique wanted her to take care of something she would #and violence was rewarded you know #rogue got mystiques appreciation and respect #and so she uses violence as a form of love now #and she wants other to use it as a form of love for her #because it’s what she knows #I DUNNO LIKE AHHH SHE IS AN INHERENTLY ANGRY WOMAN #why do you think she gets along so well with Logan #idk I feel like I’m just saying a whole lot of nothing but I think it’s so interesting #and I think rogue having a wild mane fits who she is #she’s all over the place she’s a firecracker #her emotions are so extreme she can’t help it

autistic donnie thoughts

as a neurodivergent person myself, i really love the autistic rise!donnie headcannons SO just wanted to say that maybe the reason he was so into the purple dragon satin jacket was because the fabric was a lot less agitating on his skin/soft shell.....? obv the movie sort of (???) covered his sensory issues with the (SPOILERS) krang ship controls but i thought this was another decent example of it.

i mean as a literal sewer child he pretty much only has access to what he can scavenge from DUMPSTERS so satin must have been like a godsend for him.

sensory issues man. not fun.
