You like cats? You like birbs? You like living on the edge between sanity and cyberpsychosis, but remaining completely chill about it? This is Snowfire, the big goof and muscle of Doc's Trotter team. He's a laid back griffon who doesn't care about things he has no control over. This generally means he doesn't worry about much at all. He has heavy amounts of cybernetics in him, requiring regular maintenance, but as long as the team keeps his chrome greased and his belly fed, he'll gladly join the mission and absolutely ruin someone's day for the fun of it. Part of his laid back demeanor is keeping himself sane; having so many cybernetic implants does a number on your brain. What the limit is before you snap varies with each user, but for Snow, he's probably up there on the edge. Or maybe he's not and only lets everyone thinks so because why worry about something he doesn't have full control over? Yeah, he can be a bit lazy. But when he's actively doing his job protecting the team and laying down cover fire with a heavy machine gun, you'll be glad he's on your side. Buy me a Kofi!

wild how rarely Kyojuro gets angry. he's the prime example of someone who's high energy but not a hothead. there's a lot Kyo could be angry about. his dead mom. his abusive dad. how his little brother's swordfighting has barely improved despite years of teaching. demons in general! but Kyo's defining characteristic is his ability to love freely and fully, which flips into his fierce will to protect.

it's not that Kyo doesn't feel rage. we do see him get real worked up when Akaza repeatedly taunts him. it's that Kyojuro processes his everyday anger into something else. grief over his mother strengthens his resolve to excel at his job: saving people. he handles his volatile dad with simple pleasantries; Kyo tries not to take those cruel words to heart. frustration with Senjuro's lack of progress becomes tender, heartfelt encouragement to find something Senjuro actually likes doing and work hard at that instead.

as for demons on the whole? Kyo is the first hashira who accepts Nezuko as a fellow fighter. he's willing to fairly evaluate challenges to his (society's) view of demons as uniformly corrupt, too dangerous to let live. Kyo's beef with demons is their actions—killing and eating people—not who or what they are. he's cool with Nezuko because she's a demon who doesn't wanna kill and eat people.

Kyo catches his anger, dissects it, and almost always redirects it. he only releases it in its raw, unchanged form when the situation calls for it. when people's lives hang in the balance. he doesn't let his anger carry him away. he never loses sight of what his anger is for.

that's another distinction Kyo makes: he's carefree without ever once forgetting to be careful.
