Crowley: What I need is for him to be nowhere near me and the precious, peaceful, fragile existence that I have carved out for myself here.
Aziraphale: I thought we carved it out for ourselves.
Crowley: SO DID I!

Mer wars. Mer world.
Every night, the Mer serpent was there to observe him, noting every move he made, every breath he took. Those serpentine eyes were unblinkingly fixed on him, gleaming with a malevolent and sinister glint. The Mer couldn’t get the fire imp out of his mind, no matter how hard he tried. He was like a beautiful dream that was always just out of reach. Every night, the Mer sang a haunting song to lure him out of his hiding place, hoping to catch the elusive red devil. The Mer’s voice echoed through the night air, carrying with it a single, desperate plea - come out and join me.

“Did you have fun in Monaco with Toji?” Satoru was crazy for going straight to the point, and he knew his question was tasteless too, yet he couldn’t help but start a conversation about the thing that kept him up for days.
As for you, with your peace in the balcony now ruined, you briefly opened your mouth to respond, but held back against it as you met Gojou’s eyes with a distant stare. You were even quick to look away and sigh, like he was not worth the conversation.
And man, did that hurt his ego.
So, for a very stupid reason, he felt the need to hurt yours in return. “Do you know Sachi calls Akemi ‘mama’ in his sleep?”
Your eyes remained empty. “Good for you, then. You won’t have a hard time getting him accustomed to it.”
“Y/N.” Satoru’s voice came out as a warning, and he was about to start an argument on why you were abandoning him and Sachi over Toji, but he was interrupted at the appearance of Akemi who was holding Shoko’s bouquet as she tried to search for her lover. This meant that the conversation with the ex-wife was over.
But as he glanced between you and Akemi, his bitter past and his sweet present, why did Satoru’s heart still lingered with you when it shouldn’t?
“You should go,” you briefly muttered, walking on the opposite direction, “Your future wife’s looking for you.”

The Dancer and the Assassin
Later on that night:, under the sickly yellow glow of a fading lamp light. Striker breaks the silence.
"Aren't I enough!" hisses the snake imp, as he continues on from where he left off.
“And the stunt you pulled at the Studios! we’re you aiming to get caught by Val! growls the Cowboy kicking Blitzo into a wall, crushing his sternum.
Blitzo cries out in agony, wheezing Striker’s name.
But his weak cries fall upon deaf ears as the cowboy continues his monologue.
The cowboy loved the sound of his own voice.
“The punishment you received there pales in comparison to what I have planned for you here and for when we get home” he sneers.
Blitzo cries out in pain as he desperately tries to wiggle and pry the cowboy’s foot off of his chest.
“take my warnings to heart Blitzy, stay away from her if you know what’s good for you” says the cowboy reaching down to pick Blitzo off the floor before forcibly kissing him.
“You overreact, overthink, and complicate things” says the cowboy smirking as Blitzo hisses into the kiss before breaking apart and finding the cowboy’s hand.
He places the cowboy’s fingers into his mouth and sucks on them. Purring into the cowboy’s touch a warm calloused hand comes up to caress Blitzos cheek.
Brazenly Blitzo takes control but he knows the cowboy is the one in control, the cowboy throws him back onto the couch and starts tickling him.
Striker chuckles as he sits down next to Blitzo and puts his knee into his groin.
“I love you” says Striker softly stroking Blitzo’s head. “I love you too” says Blitzo quietly as the cowboy leans forward and kisses him deeply
