striker paced around, his usual stern expression etched on his face. the day had been particularly challenging, and the weight of his responsibilities seemed to bear down on him.

as if sensing his need for a momentary escape, you entered the room, holding a large stuffed animal that strikingly resembled bombproof. striker raised an eyebrow, his stern demeanor momentarily faltering.

"what's this?" he asked, eyeing the plush toy with a mixture of curiosity and amusement.

you grinned, handing him the stuffed animal. "i thought you might need a little reminder of bombproof. it's not the real thing, but it might bring a smile to your face."

striker examined the stuffed animal, a rare glint of warmth softening his steely gaze. "hmph. i guess it does have some kinda resemblance."

you chuckled, "well, who wouldn't want a huggable version of bombproof?"

he raised an eyebrow but couldn't hide the slight twinkle in his eyes. "i suppose you have a point."

one evening, you found striker deep in thought, staring at the stuffed animal. "having a moment with bombproof?" you teased.

he grunted in response, but a small smirk played on his lips. "just tryin' to keep this ship afloat. bombproof here's been keepin' me company, though. appreciate the gesture."

you sat beside him, bumping shoulders playfully. "everyone needs a little comfort."

he sighed, giving you a mock disapproving look. "don't get used to it. bombproof stays here, and no one else needs t' know about this."

you chuckled, "your secret's safe with me, striker."

Watching the episodes back. Fizz doesn’t jump/flinch/anything when Asmodeus yells at Moxxie to GTF out.

Its such a small detail that I didn’t notice until I saw him flinch when moxxie dad screamed.

I use this in my head to further that Ozzie is a great boyfriend. Who never gave fizz a reason to flinch when he got angry. Thank you everyone- for reading my bullshit

Stolas and blitz not meeting in the new episode is definitely a sign of what's to come.

Stolas and blitz's relationship so far has been bad to say the least, it's been stolas secretly hoping for a relationship with blitz, and blitz is lying to himself thinking that stolas actually does care for him and fears how his life would change if he would be in a relationship.

Blitz destroyed everything he loved in the fire, he thinks he doesn't deserve a actual relationship with stolas. He obviously hasn't had a healthy relationship and is scared that a relationship with stolas would be unhealthy.

he blames himself for everything that went wrong in his life and now he is starting to realize that isn't right.

Miss Heed And Stolas Have Some Unsuspected Similarities

Even though Miss Heed reminds appearance wise of Verosika, I realized she and Stolas are basically the same type of character but the difference is how they are treated by the narrative. Stolas and Miss Heed are presented as old childhood/teenhood friends who come from privileged backgrounds and in the past used the characters for their selfish means. In the present time both still use their supposed love interests for their own means and lack any self-awareness of how harmful their actions are.

However, the biggest difference between Stolas and Miss Heed is the fact that the former isn't treated as toxic and is even pitied because of his bad marriage and having a neglectful father. On the other hand, Miss Heed has shown she too has sympathetic qualities like having low self-esteem and replacing it with her social media obsession, but one thing it doesn't do is the fact it holds her accountable for her actions and doesn't try to make it seem everything is okay. The biggest problem with Stolas is that it whitewashes his actions and tries to shift the blame onto other people including Blitzo himself. However, that doesn't erase the fact he acted manipulative towards him and leveraged the book so he can have sex with him. The narrative tries to make him a sympathetic woobie when it really just makes him more disgusting and unpleasant. This again in contrast with Miss Heed who the narrative reminds us is a pos and doesn't try to coat what shitty stuff she does.

I also noticed how the relationships progress from that episode. The episode from "Heedous Heart" knows Miss Heed still has feelings for Flug, but it's the fact that she uses and abuses people to feel better about herself makes it clear that their can't be a relationship because it would end up with her just using him over and over again. And frankly Flug is wise to see it and leave her where she is instead of enabling her like he did in the past. This is in contrast with the end of "Ozzie's" where instead of validating Blitzo's right to put his foot down with Stolas we are meant to see it as him being too closed to open himself up. And the biggest focus is just on how sad it is that Stolas wants him but Blitzo won't let him in (despite the fact that Stolas used him to satisfy himself). And that is another similarity, both of them (Stolas and Miss Heed) use people to satisfy themselves regardless of how they feel and will whine when they don't get their way. Again with Miss Heed is a sign of her immaturity, while with Stolas it's a pathetic attempt at making him sympathetic.

Barbie Wire's Absence From The Flashback Episodes

Despite being buildup as such a hyped character, there is always the fact that Barbie is never seen in the flashbacks including the parts of Fizz's history with Blitzo. And this recent episode she was actually deleted from final cut. Again the excuse is the focus is on Fizz, but Fizz is also featured in the Circus and the focus was on Stolitz as children but Barbie could have been squeezed in somehow but it never crosses Vivziepoop's mind which doesn't help the allegations she treats her female characters like shit. Like how does she feel about Fizz: Did she see platonically or romantically? Did she keep in contact with him at ay time? Were they as close with each other as her brother? etc. Again none of this is known because she's not shown. She is just as important to Blitzo's backstory as Fizz, but Vivziepoop doesn't give the time and effort like Fizz. Again just a product of her shitty storytelling.

Who Kept Fizz and Blitz apart?

We've got at least three candidates on who could've kept Fizz and Blitz apart after the fire though I have at least one extra theory considering the medical professionals in Sloth.

In the episode Oops, Blitz mentioned that "they" said Fizz didn't want to see Blitz while Fizz was told by "them" that Blitz never came to see him in the first place. Someone was keeping these two apart intentionally and it makes their split even more tragic since Fizz would've forgiven Blitz or not been as angry at Blitz if he had been allowed to see Blitz. And Blitz probably would've had a better support system if he was allowed to see Fizz.

I want to put arguments for and against each theory to see where we could go from here and what we'll eventually learn about the truth when these two learn it.

Culprit 1: Mammon

Argument: Considering the placement of this sign in the episode Oops, it would be very easy to predict that Mammon would be the one that could have kept these two apart but also have a motive. Let's say he got word of Fizz's talents at the Buckzo Imp Circus through word of mouth and talent scouts. He probably had an eye on Fizz and would've recruited him to be his latest cashcow. He would have the money to give Fizz prosthetics that would help him perform again. Or hire Ozzie to give Fizz the prosthetics which would give a reason on how they met and fell in love. He wouldn't want Fizz to get distracted so he probably ordered any nurses in Sloth or wherever he was recovering to keep anyone out and isolate Fizz, making him easy to manipulate.

Counterargument: Mammon can be a bit of a dumbass so if Fizz auditioned to be his next star after he got his prosthetics, he probably treated him nice to start but the abuse would gradually happen over time. We don't know exactly how long Fizz was working for him but it's enough to make Fizz feel self-conscious about still being good enough to work for him. And he probably would've said something if he knew about Blitz trying to see his former friend. Mammon probably met and had Fizz working for him after he recovered.

Culprit 2: Cash Buckzo

Argument: I love this jackass but he's still a greedy jackass that cares very little about his own son while treating Fizz like the golden child. BUT I could see his ONE redeeming quality that he cares very deeply for his wife, Tilla. Using his son to steal riches from the Goetia and emotionally manipulating him so they could get treasures that he could sell to keep their family afloat. And I'll give him credit that he was disturbed enough by Paimon wanting to buy his son (at first) for Stolas. But his favoritism for Fizz and neglect of Blitz (we don't know how he treated Barbie) could've manifested into resentment for the accident his son caused with the fire. Buckzo not only lost his livelihood and wife but the kid he wished was his son was damaged so he could've kept the two of them apart out of spite and grief from losing the woman he loved.

Counterargument: He's also a bit of a dumbass and the alcohol might've scrambled his brain enough where he wouldn't be able to think of keeping Blitz and Fizz apart. And from the phonecall Blitz had in the episode Unhappy Campers, Blitz does seem to be on speaking terms enough with his father that he'd actually call him to try and figure out where Barbie was. And I think Buckzo would've been dealing with the loss of the circus as well as his wife so as much as he probably would've wanted to get back at his son and protect Fizz from getting hurt worse (since I think he does care about Fizz in some capacity), the grief he was going through probably would've made him unable to actually do it.

Culprit 3: Barbie Wire

Argument: We know very little about Barbie and what we do know is from the few mentions of her we've had in the show and pictures. But I think if her attitude towards her brother is anything to go by, I could believe she tried to separate Blitz and Fizz because of her own issues. We know she wasn't there during the fire and Blitz mentioned to Fizz that Fizz was all he had left. He lost his mother, his father neglected him, and there was probably a growing separation between Blitz and Barbie that hurt Blitz deeply, no doubt her drug addiction. When the fire happened, it seemed to happen when Blitz and Fizz were in their mid to late teens. Barbie could've either been sent away to rehab or gone off on her own, not being happy with the circus life. Maybe she felt resentment that her mother was close to Blitz and wanted to find her own path that isn't being a twin. Maybe she was manipulated by her father into seeing Blitz as the weak link in the family. Or maybe she felt anger that Blitz couldn't save their mother even though he was there when she wasn't there. It's hard to say if she was close to Fizz like Blitz was but if she got her father's attitude, she probably could've kept both boys separated out of spite and grief. She's familiar enough with the staff at the rehab center in Sloth that she could tell them to keep Blitz and Fizz separated "for their own good". And she purposefully used Blitz's old name even though she started with his preferred name when they saw each other, intentionally hurting her brother. Who's to say she wasn't capable of hurting him before? Maybe she felt resentment at how close Blitz and Fizz were and thought Fizz deserved better. Or maybe the drugs caused her to act out.

Counterargument: I don't want to throw Barbie under the bus since we only got a brief appearance by her and I hope she and Blitz will reconcile in some way. If Blitz can make up with Fizz, he can certainly make up with his sister. Since she wasn't around during the fire, maybe her anger at Blitz not being able to save their mother as well as anger at herself for not being there. I could see her deflecting her own feelings of guilt and grief onto her brother, blaming him for everything like her father did. But I could also see her wanting to run away from her feelings; she probably wants to get close to her brother but she just can't face him since I think deep down, she knows that isn't fully Blitz's fault. An accident is still an accident and they were basically children when it happened; Blitz has suffered enough and Barbie probably is trying to cope on her own. Maybe there's even some resentment of being a twin to someone that isn't as good or the lesser twin, feeling like she has to be better than him. If that's the case, she probably would want to separate herself from her old life and lashes out whenever Blitz tries to reach out.

Culprit 4: Sloth's Medical Staff

Argument: Okay this one might be a bit of a stretch (and I'm only using Barbie's nurse to make a point) but despite how nice and relaxing Sloth is and it being a hub for medical care and rehab, it's still a ring of Sin. They have a lot of drugs and use people like Barbie to get drugs from Earth to Hell. They're going to have their selfish parts to them too. It takes five years to get a Hellbies shot for Loona and they have staff that are really lazy that Blitz was ready to shoot them when he was losing his patience. And while people do give Barbie's nurse the benefit of the doubt in wanting to keep Barbie from falling off the wagon by trying to talk Blitz out of seeking her out, even using his preferred name, they don't seem very good at keeping people in rehab that should still be there. Verosika got out because she was still "famous" but it's very likely she got out because the staff were neglectful and got paid off. Who's to say they didn't get paid off to keep Fizz and Blitz separate, saying that Fizz didn't want to see Blitz or Blitz never came to visit. and they only seem to really get their asses in gear when a high profile demon is seriously hurt (ie, Stolas). Since Fizz is famous, they probably could've kept him guarded away where Blitz couldn't visit.

Counterargument: As much as her methods were harsh, Barbie's nurse did seem like she was looking out for Barbie and Blitz in a way. And the goat doctor was probably the nicest character we've seen in Sloth even if he used a needle that scared poor Loona. Whether there's actual malicious intent or just incompetence, we still don't know too much about this ring or the medical practices in Sloth but it's at least interesting to think about.

Can you imagine being Stolas, who never had a friend, until this little clown kid came along?

Can you imagine being at a party of your wife who hates you and insults, embarrasses and makes fun of you, and you just take it, over and over again, for your daughter, the only one to bring you joy in your life?

Can you imagine your friend coming back, giving you an escape from that party, a companion when you needed one, a knight in shining amor, and appears to want you, after your wife made a point stressing how she never wanted you in the first place and how bad you are in bed? How thrilled you would be, how special it feels, to finally be special to someone?

Can you imagine falling in love with someone and being judged by everyone for it, but they are your first friend, the first one to like you, to want you, so you risk all of it for them

And then, it turns out they never really wanted you, perhaps never liked you. They only wanted what you had. They used you, from the very first time you met, stealing from you while you were too caught up in the thrill of having your first ever friend.

Yet, you still love them, and you still try not to hurt them and to help where you can.

Shout out to Stolas, because if that were me, I would never be okay again.

These Helluva characters that feel the same to me 

I've been work shopping this since the Mammon episode came out. I just want other opinions on this so I can confirm if I'm crazy or if others see it too. Keep in mind this is how I see the characters and my opinion. I'm glad to see what you all think as well :)

Blizto and Mammon are the same character. Moxxie and Fizz share a good amount of qualities that are very similar and so do Millie and Asmodeus. Idk it seems like they feel the same sometimes. You would think Stolas, Biltz, Fizz and Asmodeus would have the most in common because they’re supposed to be parallels  

But let me explain 

Were we go  

Mammon and Blizto  

(I already when over this in another post so here's what I said)  

They are practically the same character given what the show tells us. What Blitzo does to Moxxie is the same thing Mammon does to fizz only cranked up to nine. Mammon says things that make Fizz worry I.e. “ready to reclaim your win another year... I saw your competition and it's pretty stiff, right? You are going to have try extra hard” remember in “The Harvest Moon Festival” ep where Blizto says “now just remember your rep with the in laws is on the line here so, no pressure at all you totally will not make an ass of yourself in front of everyone important in your life” he totally did that on purpose. How about when Mammon calls Fizz a “a bit chungo”? blitzo in seeing stars “you know it wouldn’t kill ya to put a salad in your body every now and then” and he says it meaner. He even encourages Loona to also call moxxie fat so while it’s still Loona doing it Blizto not telling her to chill out or something and there by condoning it, but he has the nerve to clutch his stupid little pearls (also blitzo isn't Wareing his mom little necklace thing in the Mammon ep) when Mammon does the same thing. Mammon says sexually charged stuff to Fizz that is very obviously making him uncomfortable but disregards it like its nothing? “they’ll want a piece of you they can home and fuck! Don’t you want that Fizzy? to be fucked?” Then Fizz said no, and he disregarded it. Blizto in Murder Family, Harvest Moon, Truth seekers, Ex's and Ohs when he makes a big deal about someone having sex with both Moxxie and Millie and then making a big deal at the fact that he, Moxxie and Millie have had sex with the same person also maybe Ozzie's when he says he watches the M&M get it on but it's hard to gaze if Moxxie’s reaction was surprise, disgust or both. Mammon calls Fizz a “a stupid little [HONK]” Blizto calls Moxxie “a fucking disgrace” in Unhappy Campers but to be fair I make it an active effort to forget that ep is canon so. Mammon puts Fizz in a situation he can't handle, which leads to a panic attack. Blizo in the first ep Murder Family where Moxxie doesn’t want to kill Martha because he doesn’t want to kill a mother and ruin a family and is openly hesitant and uncomfortable about it causing him to have a small panic and mess up the mission at first. Mammon tells fizz to get his shit together with the underlying threat of firing, terminating, or worse. Murder family Blitzo says “But if you ever pull a stunt like this again, I will fuck you and your wife”. Both Blizto and Mammon are openly sexist  treat Fizz and Moxxie all buddy buddy when they do stuff, they want but when they don’t comply or might do something they don’t like they get mean or aggressive. They only main differences is that Moxxie can talk back to Blizto in a way and fizz can't and Fizz gets to quit and escape his horrible boss.

Moxxie and Fizzarolli 

Moxxie and Fizzarolii have a lot in common such as being into music and overall performance. Fizz, I think he is supposed to be a comedian (he’s a jester) but from all the performances he puts on is mostly singing so. They both like supporting new talent Fizz and the deft kid. Moxxie and the mixtape guy from seeing stars “you made this?... Millie! We need money to pay this talented artist... These artists put their hearts and souls into their work.” They both can be very awkward at times Fizz in Mammons Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special ft. Fizzarolli (MMMMSfF) “Haha ignores him, Sir. He’s uh like this all the time” and moxxie in Harvest moon festal when Millies's dad talks about the flaming twister and moxxie awkwardly chuckles and says, “oh crumbs...” and they both seem to have a need to be good at what they do. Fizz and his performances saying he needs the pageant gig and Moxxie with being a good assassin his constant want to be stronger like in harvest moon. They both get called fat, and they both have a powerhouse SO. Both get wrapped up in their heads and won’t listen to reason if it means they get to prove themselves to a sucky boss or their own ego. I.e. the entirety of Unhappy Campers and the beginning of western energy when Moxxie must kill the pig thing and MMMMSfF when Fizz won't listen to Ozzie when he tells him “yo maybe not this year?” about the pageant. they both have exceedingly more screen time and character development than their SO. Both are kind of weak physically speaking Fizz can't fight and Moxxie can't really hold his own very often and needs back up when it comes to hand to hand combat.  disregards they’re significant other’s worries for them I.e. when Asmodeus was worried about Fizz going to the Greed ring knowing something bad could happen to Fizz given his fame and flashy personality and when Asmodeus doesn’t want Fizz to go to the pageant because it takes a physical and emotional toll on Fizz. Millie when she’s worried about Moxxie entering the Pain Games, when Millie is worried moxxie is getting carried away with mission in Unhappy Campers. They need to be reassured Fizz when he says he sorry to Ozzie for getting kidnapped and Ozzie say she should need to apologize for it and when Ozzie says he loves fizz flaws and all alsothat he doesn’t need to be Mammon's cash bitch. Moxxie when Millie tells him doesn’t need to prove he’s strong to her parents, doesn’t need to hide his past from her. Damzel in destress  

Millie and Asmodeus  

Not a lot to say about them because they don’t get a lot of screen time and are often pushed to the side for the more popular SO. Seemingly perfect significant others who are only there to boot the other party of the relationship.  ambiguous flaws such as Millie being hellhound racist and doesn't do/say anything about blizto/Loona/anybody abusing moxxie. Ozzie, a deadly sin who couldn't save is boyfriend from a villain who is 30000x weaker than him and blizto saved him and seemingly a little processive and kind of smothery. Comparatively to Moxxie and Fizz we know very little about them. The moral support and all around good/normal one. Being comply indifferent to Blizto despite how he treats/treaded Moxxie and Fizz. I understand blizto and Fizz made up, but wouldn't you still be a little skeptical of the guy who disabled your boyfriend even a little? even if it was on accident? Also, wouldn’t you want to speak to your so called friend and boss about how he treats your husband?  

Is it just me? Fizz and Ozzie feel like the gay version of Moxxie and Millie. I feel like I have a sold case with Blizto and Mammon and Millie and Asmodeus, but I don’t know
