It's obvious she's tasered Blitzø a few times before, presumably to keep him from seeing Barbie when she obviously doesn't want to see him. And even after she leaves, she advises Blitzø it's better if he just doesn't look for Barbie, which she didn't need to do.

Also, her not being even a little scared of Blitzø is just icing on the cake.

If you’re wondering why The Reason I stopped drawing them is because I fell out of love with this series don’t get me wrong I Love The Animation and Characters so Much and all the drama that have been happening in S1 was Awesome! 😆 But When S2 was released The story was kind of confused me and I was slowly falling out of love for the series itself😔 I still Love the Series but the writing just felt way off for me Sorry, So I stopped drawing them but drawn my HeadCanon version of them?? Barbie: Well congratulations you freaky fruity clowns. I'm happy you finally figured yourselves out.

Thinking about how it seems like everyone knows Blitzo started the fire, even if they don't know what actually happened.

Thinking about how it's implied Barbie was also very close to their mother before she died, and is implied to have also been very close to Blitzo before the accident.

Thinking about how the skull pendant Blitzo wears is pretty clearly the one that belonged to their mother, and he's never shown wearing it until points in the timeline taking place after the fire, implying that either she left it to him in a will...or she gave it to him as she was dying.

Thinking about Barbie, still reeling from grief at the loss of her mother, seeing Blitzo with the pendant, the only thing we know they have to remind them of her, and just snapping into the anger part of grief, raging at her brother that he doesn't deserve to have their mother's things, because he's the reason she's gone.

Thinking about Blitzo just taking it, because he still feels so guilty over what happened to everyone, and slowly realizing his family is basically broken now. His mother is dead, his father never cared about him, his sister hates him now. So he holds onto the pendant, even if he doesn't feel like he deserves it, because he needs that small comfort, the reminder of before his mistake, when he still felt like he had his family.

Gonna be honest: This episode felt like someone accidentally switched the A and B plot around.

The Blitzo looking for Barbie plot should have been the main story.

This is the first time Barbie and her relationship with Blitzo get to play a major part in an episode, but it's all just so... pushed to the side. I really would have liked if we'd gotten more in-depth with these two.

Plus, the camping plot wasn't good, I'll say it. It pretends to be a Millie-episode, but really it's just yet another 'Moxxie gets shit on and feels sorry for himself' plot and those got old real fast in season 1.

Despite this being supposedly an episode about Millie and her contributions and her feeling valued for once, Moxxie is still the character the narrative follows 80% of the time. We're forced to feel more sympathy for him than for Millie, because the episode makes sure to always emphasize his struggles and hurt feelings over hers.

If this is the long-awaited Millie-development Viv promised I'm not convinced.

The A plot felt like something that was recycled from a season 1 episode and made worse in the process. I wouldn't have minded it so much if it was just a line of cutaway gags, while the majority of the episode was focused on Blitzo's search for Barbie. And Barbie herself.

Because honestly, what did this episode tell us about her?

She's out of rehab, she's loud and vulgar, she hates Blitzo for a reason we're not told and she's a drug dealer who makes business with humans or at least occasionally hires humans as her suppliers.

Those are all traits. Not characterization.

What makes it worse was that the material to make her an actual character was there.

Like, where did she get that crystal she uses to travel between Hell and Earth? Is she employed by someone more powerful or is she going solo? What exactly happened between her and Blitzo? What made her choose this life? You don't just go from circus performer to drug dealer/addict over night.

All questions the episode deemed unimportant. Instead her dialogue is mostly swear words strung together and yelling at Blitzo. Oh, and beating up Moxxie. Because we haven't seen that a million times already.

Fan theory.

Barbie's white "tattoos" were a punishment for each time she tried to escape circus.

I swear I don't hate the show, I don't even hate any of the ladies above, not even Stella, it's just insanely unfair how the women get treated in Helluva.

And no, I don't need the creators of any given media to hold my hand and walk me through every tiny choice made by every character in said media.

Of course I can infer that Stella grew up in the same pre-determined mold Stolas was forced into. Of course I can infer that she learned tantrum behavior and violence probably got her what she wanted so her royal parents didn't have to hear it.

I can infer that Barbie self harms bc a tiny thin scar doesn't form a perfect circle around your forearm by accident, and an "X" doesn't perfectly cross out a tattoo that probably causes you great trauma to look at every day, on accident. Her tail scars are deeply concerning and saddening to think about, bc again, why do they PERFECTLY match her twin brother's natural markings? I can infer that his actions, intentional or not, deeply traumatized her, and her response was to remove a piece of herself that reminded her of him. It's dark, it's mature, it's compelling and it makes sense. The issue is, it will probably never be touched on.

I adore Millie, I adored her before season two was even announced. To the contrary, I actually don't care if she ever gets a deep deep dive at her backstory. There have been PLENTY of male characters across all kinds of media that are simply psychotic little murder gremlins, and no one ever bats an eye at it. I adore her as the murder gremlin queen she is. But as she's main cast, it's incredibly unfair by comparison how she gets utilized and how she doesn't. One minute she can take down a 60 meter tall fish monster single handedly, the next minute, because the plot wants this to be about the bois, a single hit breaks her arm to the point that BONE IS PIERCING THROUGH HER SKIN, and she just happens to get thrown directly into the world's MOST CONVENIENTLY PLACED AND ARMED bear-trap ever. It doesn't snag her face, her hair, or her hand or arm or torso or back, she falls just perfectly that her leg is just perfectly in its jaws. No arteries got caught? There's not an excess of blood, she's by the show's own dialogue, "fine." But she's benched for the rest of the episode.

And maybe it wouldn't be so bad from the critical eye if the excuse given for it wasn't SO hollow. "Helluva is more male focused and Hazbin is more female focused." Ma'am. Who do you think you're fooling out here. Angel Dust and Alastor built the HH fandom. Do you expect me to believe Mimzy or Niffty are going to be treated any better than the Helluva gals? Mimzy is literally already on the wiki as a "minor character".

It's truly ok to focus your story on males. There is literally a whole genre of anime focused on mostly male stories. But if someone, or a lot of someones, feel your female cast is lacking in substance, I find it insulting to dismiss them and say they're misreading the media and nitpicking. They care about the show, YOUR show, they care about YOUR characters, if you can remember back when you were a smaller creator HERE on tumblr, ppl love when you ask them about their OCs. And you don't have to spit out a quick bs backstory to your character if you haven't given it much thought, that's not what anyone is asking for. (Cough, Unhappy Campers, COUGH).

Idk how to wrap this critique up, so I'm just gonna say, Moxxie's mom is too badass to be Mrs. Knofirstname Knolastname. 🤡

took a little break cuz school was gettin stressful, heres some stuff

Alright so I'm seeing a bit of hate at Barbie for dismissing Blitzø like she did, but at the same time, even though we don't understand what happened between them, it's still completely understandable as to why she doesn't want to see Blitzø.

(1) He doesn't respect her decision of NOT wanting to see him, constantly trying to sneak in the hospital to see her and her needing protection from the NURSE of all people.

(2) when he does find her, even though he knows she doesn't want to see him, and to be left alone, he still acts like she owes him something, and tries to make her look like the asshole.

(3) He doesn't even attempt to try to call of the hit for her, despite knowing she needs the guy to do her job. (Don't get me wrong, both the guy and her job are shitty, but it doesn't change the fact that she needed the both of them if she wanted to move on with her life.)

One could argue that he only started holding her back after she attacked Moxxie, but it doesn't change the fact that even beforehand, he did nothing to stop Moxxie from killing the human. Even when they're fighting he still doesn't stop Moxxie and even helps him.

(4) Even after all that, after her supplier is killed, he doesn't offer an apology, a way to make it up to her, or even just something that would go to HER interests. He JUST started to talk about what HE wanted. This whole thing about finding her and repairing their relationship wasn't about her, it was about him.

In the end, though we all know he cares about her, it's obvious through this show that he doesn't care about her ENOUGH to put his own interests aside and focus on what she wants. Even though he genuinely does desperately want to repair things with her.

And it's so, so sad.

This one is for all my fellow ADHD people or not really important character lovers. I tried to find the name of this character since he doesn't have a name I'll just call him Boat Guy. But I absolutely loved him and decided to make some icons of him. As far as the episode. I loved it I'm glad we got to see some things about Millie and how she feels. I also love when people write couples they give couples conflicts like when they butt heads because this is realistic in Relationships that couples will have conflict and sometimes will overcome it. So I'm glad we got to see this episode along with Barbie Wire which I'll have her icons up soon but for now here is our favorite Lagoon Boy. I wonder how he ended up in hell let me here your guys thoughts?
