1: is slug city a webseries that is able to be read somewhere ?
2: r you ok with fanart of slug city cause I have been thinking about your little clam person Moberry for like 2 days now I adore them I would like to draw them .and your design for an anthro clam is absolutely wonderful and I hope you don't mind if I were to take some inspiration from it in my character designs :)
1: oh my gosh I WISH Slug City was a webcomic! I don’t quite have the amount of detail just yet if I ever wanted to make one, for the time being, it remains in my head unless I decide to share lore bits I thought up or drawings. If I do end up committing and making a comic, I will be sure to let everyone know. 2: YES !!! Yes yes yes! You can absolutely draw fanart, it is extremely welcome. If you do draw it, you can tag my art blog @palossssssand since that’s where I talk about it most and keep my oc stuff actually properly tagged. In cities like Washington, DC, slugs are commuters that you can pick up to fill your car so you can go into the High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes that encourage ride sharing to cut down on traffic. Plus, the driver pays reduced tolls.
Slugging etiquette:
The slug first in line gets the next ride to their destination and also gets to choose the front or back seat. Slugs should never take a ride out of turn.
Drivers are not to pick up sluggers en route to or standing outside the line, a practice referred to as "body snatching".
A woman is not to be left in the line alone, for her safety.
No eating, smoking, or putting on of makeup is allowed.
The driver has full control of the radio and climate controls.
Windows may not be opened unless the driver approves.
No money is exchanged or requested, as the driver and slugs all benefit from slugging.
Driver and passengers say "Thank you" at the end.

'yeah u gotta not directly tell ppl that ur in romo with them immediately because...'#culturally it signals like. moving too fast or it's seen as embarrassing or you gotta do xyz things first#my sister advised me as a teen that in her experience and opinion - delivered like the words of a sage - if someone is bad at kissing#then they are bad at sex#(me [a kissing repulsed aro person who enjoys sex]: uhhh)#and honestly like. especially when viewed from the outside those things are fuckin wild#like... my mom came from a tiny backwoods type of place in [redacted]#and when i moved to [redacted] and one of the biggest cities in my state (though tbh not that big actually lol)#it caused all sorts of fun. she thinks it's exceptionally rude that not every single person on the street smiles and says hi#if there's not a crowd#she also gets really upset that service workers are less likely to make small talk#and both of those come from City Etiquette being more about like... not taking up ppl's time and attention and that being respectful#like smiling and saying hi to every stranger on the street is... honestly gonna be seen as a Huge Danger thing#and service workers do not have the *time* at most locations to chat with you - especially if it's busy - and it's seen as disrespectful to#both the workers and the people in line behind you to insist on it#but from her POV with Country Etiquette#this is equivalent to like. getting slapped in the face and told that you are specifically mad at her#and she gets legit anxious about it in a very 'this means i fucked up' way

i miss bugs so bad. its mid april and there's hardly been a buzz in the air. how long has it been since ive seen a ladybug hobbling on a blade of grass. what about butterflies dancing from flower to flower or hoverflies zipping from bud to bud. my lights are on at night and yet my windows are noticably unharrassed by moths & other nightly bugs. where are millipedes. where are pondskaters. where are the spiders suspended on the sideview mirrors of cars. hell, even regular old flies. bees. wasps. ants. i see so few of them now. this is such a weird thing to see happen in my lifetime. i really miss just seeing bugs around.

What is your favorite snail
I don't think I have one, actually! I don't know all that much about snails, and although I do know there's pretty ones out there, and cool ones, and beautiful ones, I think my favourite would just be the type you see outside on your pavement. Dull colours, nice round shell, the perfect size to let crawl onto your fingers. What's yours?

New hc: Dolo and Mosca are friends.
Now that her sister got a job, Dolo feels kind of lonely because she's used to always having someone around. Mosca also happens to feel lonely now that Ghost is gone, so they decide to fuck this Ciggy City up together.
Also helps a lot that Dolo is full of (internalized) rage and blames Glug for everything that happened between her and Double, so she's more than happy to ruin their stupid city in retaliation.
#Booted up life of a slug 2 and noticed that the only tags you can find in the city are Mosca's and Dolo's#might be wrong#but still#their tags are often on the same floor and very close to each other#and unrelated but I like how one of Mosca's tags is right next to a dumpster because haha fly dude#but he also has another one that's like...almost impossible to get to#well not impossible for Ghost bc he has his items#but my man#how did YOU get there??#it's confirmed my man can stick to walls i don't wanna hear it#sludge life 2
