Beautiful Triple Twist. A bit out of synch on the sbs, and a step out and it looked under from her. Way too far part on the sbs combo. Nice lift. Fall on the throw Triple Flip. Nice choreo sequence. Under on that throw Triple Loop, and she stepped out of it and hand down. Nice lift, and nice exit. Solid death spiral. Nice pairs spin. Love that lift right to the music.
Solid program from Valentina Plazas and Maximilliano Fernandez. Some mistakes here today that will add up, but they have so many nice qualities. They are such a promising pair, and my favorite new pair this season.
112.89, 176.34 and into third place behind Kam/O’Shea and Baram/Tioumentsev.

you are now watching seojuntv.
ahn hyoseop, twenty6, cis male, he/him. ─── 3, 2, 1 — action! everyone, we’re here at jincheon national training center, and this time i have with me our national figure skating team’s very own jang seojun. you might know them for winning the 2015 and 2016 men's world figure skating championships and bringing home gold from the 2024 winter olympics, but if not, don’t worry. they’re here to field all your burning questions. let’s dive right in.
thanks for joining us today. so, tell me…
how does it feel to have been selected for the national team?
the first word that comes to mind is... nothing. it felt like nothing when he got the call, and it feels like nothing now. he tries to think of a better word for it. "... natural. it would be weird if i didn't get in."
can you share your journey to joining the national team? what obstacles did you overcome along the way?
most of his 'journey' — if one can call walking a straight line a journey — has been paved roads and smooth sidewalks. when he thinks of an obstacle, only one comes to mind. one face. a smile wanders across his face and onto his mouth. "it wasn't easy, but i didn't have it as hard as others. all i've had to do is train and compete and be good at this one thing, and i've done that. the 'biggest obstacle'... someone who's sometimes better than me. but... let's say that obstacle's been cleared away."
amazing. addressing a sensitive issue now: the rumors on “105fm.” could you shed some light on any concerning rumors you’ve heard about yourself?
"someone said i only got here because i'm good looking and my parents are loaded. i don't know about all that, but i do know how hard i've worked to deserve my place here."
… and, i’m sure your supporters want to hear your thoughts.
what was your initial reaction to the anonymous gossip account targeting national teams training in jincheon?
"i... wasn't surprised when it came out. mongolia was... a mess. a lot of people got hurt. i am shocked that it's still around. and getting more popular." the straight line of his lips droops slightly into a small frown. "i don't know what the goal is now." he gingerly shrugs a shoulder.
i see, i see. i’m afraid that’s all the time we have. thank you so much, congratulations, and best of luck to you and your team. to wrap things up, can you give us a quote?
enjoy the show.

We were boarded up, taking abuse, man handled ordered, our aggression was impressed upon inanimate things, we saved lives in actuality, probably all of us still are, we were a liked mine group

The big hanukkiah in the heart of downtown Boise, lit up for night three.
As with the window question, one can’t help but wonder: should the lights go right-to-left from the perspective of Front Street, or should they rather have been right-to-left from the perspective of the people using the roller-skating rink?
(Yes, the festive outdoor skating rink they installed in Grove Plaza this year is a roller-skating rink. I’m not qualified to unpack that one.)

Yoko: So how did you and Enid spend your Halloween in New York visiting Tara and Sam?
Wednesday: We took in the gothic architecture, attended the scene of some of the cities’ most famous murders and rode the subway in the hopes of being attacked and fighting back.
Yoko, smirking: Okay, cool.
Wednesday: What? You don’t believe me?
Yoko:
Wednesday: Okay, fine. We also went to see a Broadway show but only because Enid insisted and I only sang along to one song. Okay, two. Three.
Yoko: Uh huh
Wednesday: And we did a carriage ride through Central Park but I didn’t want to and just because Enid was scared of the horse
Yoko, still smiling: Whatever you say
Wednesday: Okay, you want to know what we did? We went ice skating in Rockefeller Plaza and shopping on Madison Avenue and we danced all night! I laughed and ate Halloween candy and it was the happiest I’ve ever been! Satisfied?
Yoko: I already knew all that but I just wanted to hear you say it
Wednesday: How did you-?
Wednesday: Tara!

✩ ˛˚ . 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗢𝗨𝗧? ; — in which you meet your boy bestfriend at midnight to go skate around town and embrace your teenage freedom.
𝘆/𝗻 𝘅 𝗯𝗼𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱! 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂
𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 / sneaking out, very slight mention of alc/weed.
the thrill of sneaking out past late, skating to meet your boy bestfriend at the nearest plaza. the chilly breeze and rush of the midnight air fueling your excitement.
it became a routine for you to get that late night text from him asking if you wanted to skate around and fuck shit up just for funsies. knowing you, there was no way you would turn down such an offer.
you'd skate down the road beneath the bright street lights and amongst the illuminated signs that lit up the city at night. cars would occasionally pass by and you'd have to weave around fellow pedestrians now and then but other than that everyone in the area was slumped.
just like always, you'd see rin's lean figure sitting on the steps before taco bell, a slurpee from the gas station in his grasp and his skateboard propped against the wall.
you'd take a seat next to him, and ask for a sip─ to which he would say no. yet after immediate repercussion, he'd give in with a deep sigh and you'd soon be sitting next to him with a devious smile on your face and the straw between your lips.
he'd argue that you drank too much but you'd just laugh and skate down the street. he'd toss the empty cup in the trash and follow behind you, racing you to the stop sign saying that if you lost you'd owe him another one.
rin would still lose of course, and then dare you to do some rat ass tricks off random things. the two of you would bust yall's asses doing crazy tricks off stairs, rails, and whatnot just for shits and giggles.
you would spend the night joking about everything, goofing off and skating around. maybe he would surprise you with alcohol or bud if that's your thing. you would smile and thank him before heading to the neighborhood park to light up.
wanna go to Seven Eleven and buy yall's favorite snacks? Lets go. wanna go sit on the beach and have some deep conversations? Lets go. wanna go tag and skate in the empty parking garage and then sit on the rooftop to admire the citylights? Lets go.

Gorgeous Triple Twist. Fall from her on the sbs Double Axels. Fall on the throw Triple Loop. Nice death spiral. Nice sbs spins. Nice step sequence. Nice lift.
Lovely program from Valentina Plazas and Maximilliano Fernandez of the US, but shame on the mistakes. They have a lovely connection on the ice, and a lot of potential.
47.32 and into fourth
