i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:
1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online
2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links
3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)
4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)
In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)
you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
#for adblocking--ublock origin is my favorite but adblocker plus is also popular#also i once again highly recommend using firefox especially on mobile#to enable adblock on firefox mobile just click 3 dot menu > addons > addon manager > enable uBlockOrigin#that's for android i assume it's similar for iOS#update it is NOT similar for iOS bc Apple hates you. i'll write another post later#anyway. PLEASE USE AN ADBLOCK ALL THE TIME (except for specific websites you want to support)#your internet browsing experience will be so enormously improved#also on firefox if you want to get past a paywall click the 'Toggle reader view' button as soon as the page loads#(it's on the right of the taskbar. a little rectangle with horizontal lines)#works for most news sites by showing you the webpage text that is hidden under the 'you've run out of free articles' popup#doesn't work for everything but it's worth a shot

I know this goes against the Customer Service Canon but after three years of mostly being at home alone due to unemployment, I actually feel like it's been doing me some good being in my new customer service role where I have to be nice to people and act out being in a good mood. You know that rule about how faking a smile still releases the happy hormones? Feels kind of like that.
Like don't get me wrong, I'm still an introvert by nature so I'm exhausted when I get home. And I still get fussed at by angry patients sometimes, I still get rude people. It's not a walk in the park. But even when I wasn't working, I still ran into assholes everywhere that could ruin my day. Meanwhile being in a job where I have to interact with people and be helpful no matter what has led to me having a lot more positive interactions in a day than I've had in years. I get people expressing gratitude to me. I get to actually feel like I'm making a difference in someone's day and that I'm needed. Really feeling the pack animal dopamine that I've been deficient in for years that just isn't possible to get through the internet.

tumblr should have a lil "mark as seen" button for posts. so they get saved somewhere like ur likes and then they don't show up in ur searches again so you can see newer content.

Another list of unrealistic wishes for the 2024 tour
Back at it again with the delusional takes and here to make it everyone elses problem - a very warm welcome to volume 2 of our wishes for the upcoming Rammstein tour ✨
This time again carefully put together by @wizzardclown @gothtoast and me, with additional wonderful influences by my dear @m---e---l. Thank you ladies 🤍

Set list and concert organisation in general
first up, the question of the supporting act:
-> either not happening in general, since none of us actually want to endure another round of the piano tinkling, so we though about this concept:
This way, we get an even longer concert with no distraction from the pure Rammstein sound.
-> or, another idea which came to mind: to celebrate the literary-genius Flake, he could give us a reading of one of his books before the concert, lighten up the mood and feeding the masses with entertaining facts. Additionally, Richard could play some piano in the background during it, for dramatic effect (like the piano accompaniment during silent movies back in the old days).
Opener for the concert this year: 'Haifisch'. Would be an amazing and appreciative nod towards the fans in regards to the support the band was shown last year.
'Zwitter': a banger to set the sexual ambiguous mood for the evening.
'Mein Land': Not sure if they every played this one live, but it would be a fitting song to get some summer vibes going.
for sunset rather fittingly 'Sonne'.
Off to the first proper segment, welcome to the 👻haunting hour👻: fitting for the upcoming night time, a creepy conglomerate consisting of:
-> 'Wilder Wein' (I could write a whole chapter about this song, it's so captivating), followed by 'Spieluhr'
-> 'Hilf mir': perfect for some new haunting stage show (maybe as a replacement for 'Puppe'; or to quote @wizzardclown: 'When in doubt, set Flake on fire')
-> 'Heirate mich': preferably with some 'sliding on his knees/a rolling board'-Till
-> to end this phase with a classic: 'Du riechst so gut' is an absolute MUST.
following: 'Rein Raus', some relaxing ASMR to lighten the mood.
Welcome to the next section: 🔥Some like it hot🔥, consisting of:
-> 'Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen': camera focus has to be on Schneider.
-> 'Asche zu Asche' with burning mics (!).
-> 'Du hast' with its fire rockets (my favourite pyro in the whole concert) because no Rammstein concert can exist without this song, that's a physical law, and additionally Richard would be sad if he couldn't play it.
-> 'Engel' preferably with the iconic wings (poor Till really has to go all in during this concert).
as a moment to take a breather: Mutter.
'Deutschland': a song we all wait for, with a huge meaning, just overall a perfect piece - yet no remix this time, since we need the time to slide right into the next phase of the concert:
💗questionable on-stage actions and homoerotica galore💗, consisting of:
-> 'Mein Teil', with dilf dad-dance moves AND several guitarist kisses (what better moment than the dick eating song for it)
-> 'Zick Zack' with at least some sort of elaborate costumes,
-> 'Feuerräder', for the perfect vibe with Flake riding on Till's back, neon tube ready to knock seven bells out of his tormentor (justice for Flake), additionally maybe Oliver skating with his roller skates which emit flames in the background and more guitarist kisses
after this breathtaking segment, how about some 'Anna'-sing along! Scream the name of your fave on the top of your lungs and show your love for him 💘
finally some unrealistic (as if the whole list isn't a fever dream already) wishes : 'Eifersucht' and 'Fellfrosch'. To finally give Olli's sick bass lines the stage they deserve 😤

Just finished watching Click's response video to Illuminaughtii. Horrific, is what she did to him. The part where Click goes through some of the screenshots and is just realizing that that one troll account who had been harassing him and everyone around him for years, was her all along...I don't have enough words for it. The sadness, shock on his face at the situation dawning on him is heartbreaking to see.

the terrifying moment of realization when talking to a self proclaimed Leftist when you can immediately tell “oh. this person has never done an hour of community service in their life.” like. i know it’s been said before but your politics truly do not matter if you’re not interacting with your community in any way. you can vote in every single election and it will not have a fraction of the impact of 17 year old tyler who got sentenced to 20 hours of picking up litter and weeding the community garden. you can never once vote out of protest and read piles of theory and not come close to making the change that the group of 80 year old catholic ladies at St. Mary’s on the corner do with their weekly community meals and school supply drives. we live in the rotting corpse of an evil empire. ideas mean fucking nothing. the only thing that matters at all is physically extending a hand to try to help the people around you.
#getting super involved in volunteer work in my tiny ass town in rural ohio has perhaps radicalized me more than anything else#like truly it is so easy to make sure peoples lives have been tangibly improved even in some small way#just by serving and packaging meals or sorting through clothing donations#or keeping kids entertained while their parents talk to someone abt SNAP or even fucking scrubbing the sinks and toilets in a halfway house#because the residents have much bigger things to worry about than cleaning#all things i’ve done within my own town that were easy and fun and great ways to socialize and meet people near me#literally just fucking google volunteer opportunities + your city and there that’s more praxis than 90% of this fucking webbed site#god. sorry for the rant. can you tell i’ve been seeing an i fluc of Very Stupid posts recently#influx*
