The fallout show's plot is hilariously dumb when you think about it.
A major plot point of fallout was always that it doesn't matter who dropped the bombs because, whoever it was, they're long since dead.
There were no winners in the great war and it's pointless the dwell in the past to look for somebody to blame. There's nobody you can take revenge on, there are no bad guys you can kill to fix this and the best you can do is trying to move forward with what's left.
And then this show comes along and goes "Well actually, the bad guys responsible for all of this are still around and everything went according to their plan... and they wiped out all the major factions that rose up from obsidian games after the bombs fell. Except for the brotherhood, cause we here at Bethesda fucking love the brotherhood... for some reason."
