November 11 - Part 2

After showering and changing at her sister’s house, Liberty walked around Forgotten Hollow – not really wanting to go back to the Straud estate just yet. It was then that she saw a figure walking through the town square. She’d recognize him anywhere and she had given her word she would talk to him. She just didn’t expect it to be this soon.

“I need to speak with you.” Liberty declares, after using her vampire speed to catch up to him. Caleb of course heard her coming, surprising not only himself but her as well – he stayed put. He had been wanting this conversation to happen ever since he saw her again at Aubree and August’s house all those months ago. Caleb slowly turns to look at Liberty, backing up slightly to put space between them in case she decides to attack him.

Liberty takes that as her cue to speak but honestly isn’t sure where to start. She thought she’d have a bit more time before she had to talk to Caleb.

“You hurt me.” She whispers, hugging her arms closer to herself. She isn’t even talking about him sinking his fangs into her flesh, she’s talking about him betraying her trust in him and breaking her heart.

Caleb’s lips frown as guilt churns in is stomach. He knows this. He had also hurt Inna, sometimes he wonders how his wife can trust and love him so much after what he’s done, though he’s broken her trust before too. Caleb wants to apologize but also senses that Liberty wants to keep talking. He remains silent.

“I trusted you, not only with my life but my heart. You’re the first one I really let in and you just….ruined it.” She isn’t sure how else to put it. Demolished? Destroyed? Ruined fits. “James has always told me he had to pry you off me when it was clear you took too much blood, is that true?” Liberty asks him, she wonders why she’s even asking him.

“Yes.” Caleb confirms, it’s the truth. It may be one of the only things James has been honest about in his miserable life.

Liberty scowls briefly. “How romantic.”

“I lost control. I nearly killed you, I thought I had. Yes, James had to take you from me. I thought he had buried your body in the Willow Creek cemetery alongside your friends, as I asked him to.” Caleb can feel his guilt and emotions he had repressed for years coming to the surface.

“I would have ended up there if he hadn’t gotten Asa to turn me.” Liberty states without emotion, like she’s telling someone what the time is.

Caleb nods his head, he can’t deny that. “I have no defense or excuse for my actions.”

Liberty stands there, not sure what to say next. Somehow, she hadn’t expected Caleb to really defend himself and he had done as expected.

“I am truly and deeply sorry for the pain and suffering I caused you.” He adds once the silence stretches, he means what he says. He doesn’t expect Liberty or Inna to ever forgive him. He doubts he can ever forgive himself either.

Liberty isn’t sure why she even asks her next question. Morbid curiosity perhaps? “Did you even love me or was I just a toy to you?”

Caleb crosses his arms, in a vain attempt to somehow protect himself from all the things that he’s feeling. He stares directly at Liberty, not even blinking once. “I loved you.”

She knows looking at him that he’s actually telling her the truth. Somehow, it makes her feel slightly better. Liberty Lee will never quite be able to forgive Caleb Vatore for setting in motion the events that led to her current lifestyle but now she feels a little bit more at peace.

It’s with great pride that I’m announcing the "25 Years Ago" starter save file!

The idea was to make a save that showed what I thought was The Sims 4 but 25 years ago, in other words, how our beloved Base Game sims lived, who their families were, etc.

Himari moved from Mt. Komorebi to San Myshuno in order pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer; the colorful styles exhibited by the likes of Diego Lobo and Penny Pizzazz have always inspired her. Gifted with an eye for aesthetics and design, Himari's path to success seems straightforward...were it not for her crippling shyness working against her.

Aaaaaaaaa, I did it! I actually completed a makeover of a pre-made Sim!! And she turned out great!!!! The only thing I changed is her outfits, her makeup, and her hair; her body, facial structure, eyes, skin tone were untouched! For those curious this is what said pre-made Sim looked like before the makeover. Ева Капричоза — тот персонаж, который вечно находит приключения на свою пятую точку. Вот и сейчас она влипла в какую-то мутную историю с наследством.

Никто из приятелей Евы не подходил на роль потенциального супруга. Маркус Флекс слишком высоко ценил свою свободу, а Паоло Рокку не воспринимала всерьез сама Ева.

Попивая латте в кофейне «Южная Площадь», Ева лихорадочно размышляла о том, что она будет делать. Оставалось всего несколько дней до конца означенного срока...

Внимание девушки привлек рассеянного вида юноша в нелепой соломенной шляпе, с робким интересом поглядывающий на ее пышные прелести. За чашечкой кофе Ева выяснила, что парень по имени Гюнтер Манч интересуется философией, литературой и видеоиграми, состоит в книжном клубе, не имеет постоянного места работы и живет с мамой и двумя младшими братьями. Достаточно быстро Еве стало понятно, что в круге общения Гюнтера отсутствуют какие-либо женщины, кроме мамы и зануды Майке из книжного клуба.

«Не самый удачный вариант, но и не самый плохой, — подумала Ева. — Пока он будет витать в облаках, я смогу наслаждаться жизнью так же, как раньше. Будет совсем шикарно, если получится уговорить его найти работу получше, чем должность продавца или официанта».

Предприимчивая Ева решила, что нужно ковать железо, пока горячо. Спустя полчаса они с Гюнтером уже сидели за одним столиком и непринужденно ворковали. Ева пустила в ход все свое обаяние и усиленно изображала из себя романтичную поклонницу высоких материй.

Нескольких свиданий хватило для того, чтобы убедить Гюнтера в том, что Ева — женщина всей его жизни. В какой-то момент даже она сама поверила в то, что влюблена в этого чудака.

Ева усиленно распиналась о том, что им необходимо как можно скорее стать семьей. С пафосным выражением лица Ева говорила о том, что готова отказаться от пышной свадьбы во имя скорейшего заключения брака. Гюнтер послушно кивал головой и соглашался со всем, что предлагала ему напористая невеста в облегающем декольтированном платье.

Так счастливая Ева получила в награду 18 000 симолеонов, собственный небольшой домик и разиню-мужа, от которого можно будет успешно скрывать свои амурные похождения в дальнейшем. Бинго!
