in a shock to absolutely nobody, i have made yet more slightly tacky wallpaper. sorry? anyway as always i saw some cool tiles on pinterest, became obsessed, and spent a couple of hours in photoshop. to quote james acaster, i started making it, had a breakdown, bon appetite >:)

PLASTIC COLLECTION #01 flat. matte. "maxis match" 'n all that. you want cartoon-y? the plastic collection delivers. seamless designs, custom normal and specular maps, base game compatible, free.

this project was born from my desire to revamp the in-game catalog. i liked some of ea's meshes, but needed to fine tune them to fit my style. the tile set wouldn't exist without madameria's "basic floor tile" from this incredible set- if you haven't already, check it out. the color palette was inspired by the designs of two companies i've been digging lately, dusen dusen and baggu. bold and clean, but familiar to some of the swatches that can already be found in game. all these pieces are standalone recolors. i'm not sure what the interest is in overrides for the game but maybe one day i'll release a mega catalog rework that hides ea's items and replaces their stuff with my own. if i goofed on something give me a holler, i checked everything over but it's a big set so you never know! p.s. click on the image for a clearer view, there's lots of details to this preview and it's designed a bit differently from my usual setup. download (patreon, free)

Anthomania Tile Collection

okay this started off being called anthomania (meaning 'an intense fondness for flowers') because it was just some plant themed tiles but, well. that spiralled a bit to include mammals, flying creatures and marine life and i just couldnt be bothered to come up with another title.

ANYWAY here it is! Today I'm bringing you Anthomania, a tiled wallpaper collection comprised of four parts - botany (plant stuff), volant (flying creatures), marine (ocean stuff), and mammals (warm blooded animals). Each part has multiple different tile patterns, and each one of those comes with 12 different wall paint colours from @myshuuno's cottage colour palette.

This was really freaking fun to do, even if i did want to commit crimes to photoshop a few times asdfghgfds. I hope you enjoy it!

SIMS 4 - CLASSIC RUSTIC FLOOR EXPANDED AND SQUARED - BASE GAME

Since there's only one version of this floor in the game, I decided to (hopefully) improve upon it and add some colours. The light coloured grout was okay, but it didn't make the floor pop like I wanted it to. So, that was darkened as well.

I also thought to rotate the diamonds and make a square version.

22 colours are provided for each version, the normal map (3D effect) is correct, and I changed the specular (shininess) to make it far less shiny. You can see the difference in some of the images. The cost is maintained at 4 simoleons per tile.
