Happy Halloween! Perfect timing to share what I developed for the @LostBotsZine (which you can download for free here)
I designed an entire Halloween-themed squad (bc i was sad there wasn't one in the show)
The Trick O' Troupe is my fan-made (Not Canon) squad formed from leftover Specter Halloween merchandise (left in storage from the previous year) when the energon cloud struck the mall.
It is composed entirely of actual real botbots from the toyline, mainly from the Season's Greeters and the unreleased Series 6 Magic Tricksters. And also honorary member Frostferatu :]

Interesting Character Arcs in "Shut Eye"
Isabella Rossellini’s portrayal of Rita Marks is among the most dynamic characterizations in the “Shut Eye” series. She plays the most excellent courtier who can be both seductively manipulative and a saboteur at a second’s notice.
For me she really brings the entire story together and her character arc is the glue that stimulates the flow of all other characters as the plot plays out.
I once knew a woman precisely as Rita Mark and I have never before seen her depicted or replicated so perfectly to nature on screen.
The entire show is well cast and my only sadness is that there are only two seasons of this exceptional show streaming now on Hulu.
The avid show watcher will note appearances by cast members from the “Dexter” and “Better Call Saul” shows among other recognizable acting faces. Being one who fell in love with “Person of Interest” I was happy to also see familiar actors from that series as well.
Lastly to note, Jeffrey Donovan has the same genuine quality that I appreciated in David Carradine when he brought Woody Guthrie to the screen in Hal Ashby’s “Bound for Glory” film of the 1970’s.
The musical scoring of the series is exquisite. There is an intriguing cross section of forbidden romance. It is satisfactory that the lead heroine drives a fucking Pontiac. I love the appearance of the old Indian head test pattern. I also appreciate the cigarette lighting doll in the sauna…
(Spoiler alert) Nothing spells out an era better than fucking Tab.
Criticism is not criticism without criticism:
“Shut Eye” has a little bit of wokeism in it, but not too much. There is way too much alcohol promotion. The series does become a smidgen long winded, but it was still enjoyable. The story becomes discombobulated at times, but that mystic is part of its intrigue.

Anyone in Pherales’s discord server? Could you find out if I got booted and, if possible, why?
I went to check discord and couldn’t find the server and last I remember sending in there was a tiny fic spoiler, in the appropriate channel, earlier today so if I was booted Idk what for and I’m maybe having an anxiety attack over the possibility I said something really terrible and didn’t know at some point
(I got booted from a server a few years ago for something I was doing that made other members uncomfortable but nobody told me it made them uncomfortable until as they were booting me and it added to some other traumas of mine and now I’m maybe a little overly paranoid that everyone secretly is uncomfortable around me and just scared to tell me and I’m rambling sorry)

Dipper finds it annoying, but he's also getting a lot of exposure to it. Which - unfortunately for Dipper - means there will come a time when he finds it oddly soothing.
Bill snoring means A: He's not getting up to anything sinister at the moment, B: Dipper can do his own stuff without Bill suddenly appearing over his shoulder to be a nosy jerk, and C: Free Snuggle Time, should Dipper desire. All that takes is sliding into bed next to him.

Gonna try to write a post batdr sickfic tomorrow (cause I’m sick & want the comfort), so here’s some snippets of ideas I’ve got.

“Inky, I can’t just stay home, I’ve got deadlines to meet by tonight!”
“Audrey…”
“Why are you so worried? I told you, it’s just a little head cold. I’m fine!”
“…I have seen the results of artists who push themselves beyond their limits, many times. I… You have made yourself more of a concern than any other, in this inky, black heart that you are so convinced I possess…”
“Oh, Inky… I never realized you cared so much. Alright. I suppose they can find someone there to cover for me.”
“…Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, big guy. I hope that eases your worries.”
“More than you would know.”

The demon switches forms throughout the day to perform different tasks, like getting her medicine or cooking soup for her or supporting her while she wobbles around the house in her feverish state, he’ll use his ink demon form (he may also need to pick her up & return her to bed; she’s got that stubborn streak, after all).
In his toon form, he’ll wordlessly entertain her while she’s in bed & having trouble resting. He’ll do little dances for her, bring his toy trains up on the bed for her to either play with him, or just watch him. He’ll bring her more tissues when she runs out of one box & will help keep her floor clean from any used tissues that missed the trash bin.
He’ll cuddle up to her while she doses (toons can’t catch human illnesses. probably. maybe.). In his toon form, he’ll lay right under her arm, snuggled right up against her, while in his ink demon form, he’ll curl himself up at the foot of her bed as he usually does at night, just to keep a close eye on her (& to keep himself calm as well).
