yknow how in medical dramas everyone's fuckin? and you're like do you guys even do like doctor stuff here?? idk if it was just the hospital i went to but mine was like that. i was admitted presenting with pancreatitis that postponed my gallbladder surgery for roughly two weeks (and almost killed me), was in the ER and everything, but late that night when i was in my room and i had a friend with me staying the night, just watching tv, i get an fb notification. turned out the ONE person i did not flirt with in my day of being there found me on facebook and said he wanted to hook up once i was healed
#i will NEVER shut up about this sorry it's just too fucking good#i can't even blame my actions on the pain meds because for one thing sometimes they didn't do the pain relief part#and second of all while i was getting signed in i hit on the chick doing all that too!!!#and there were no drugs in my system whatsoever!!!#she asked about my relationship status and i said “single. why; you interested?”#and i said that doubled over in excruciating pain about to throw up the One thing i ate (reeses cup. big cup. did me some big hurt that day

mmmm I'm moving apartment units for literally two months which is the most annoying thing in the world but theres three (?) girls who already live there which is fine but I just moved a load of stuff upstairs and I do Not think I'm going to have a fun two months

Because i love them and the options blank, i used my presidential action to make their prompt be 'prompt with more than 5 sentences' as they DESERVE !!!!!
Sitting in the shadows as the true disgruntled failure he feels like, Scottie Barnes could only be zapped out of his self-targeted diatribe after a playoff loss by the singular skeletal tap against his shoulder.
Turning with arched brows raised, he saw the scarf and immediately acknowledged Anunoby. In return, OG only muttered a phrase he probably had to tell Deebo too many times, "There's a Philly in here; I think he's yours."
Scottie tilted his head, hair fluffing to the side, about to ask if it was Joel, but the classic dead expression on the Raptor's face simply sent him walking toward the direction of his pointed thumb instead.
Through the locker room he traveled in search of 'His Philly', socked and crocc'ed feet slapping all the way.
Two small figures stood talking about weights under an orange light, and as Barnes drew closer with recognition rising, his entire face began to light up as well.
Lengthy arms extended outward through the happy gambol, squealing something between a name and an onomatopoeia that sent the bearded figure chuckling away and the dreaded one grinning his way.
"MAAAXEY!!!!!!!" He called, but screeched to a heeled halt with an invisible cartoon dustcloud created from the torque, stopping himself just before the two could touch. Instead, learning and respecting from last time, Scottie chuckled consciously and clasped his hands happily behind his backs while rocking.
"Hey Max-"
Tyrese's braids swished from his own sideways glance, eyebrows curved upside down before his face began to glow in match. A giggle muffled behind closed whites, then switched mufflers for a snuggle into Scottie's shoulder as substitute.
"Hey Scot."
Laughed into the hug, Scottie could only return the sixer's embrace. (A Raptor hugging a Sixer, oh curse this ever-evolving planet -- a necessary note from Norman Powell).
They hugged in quiet giggles for a moment that seemed more superior than time, Maxey introducing actual speech into the mix only to attempt an elaboration, "sorry I didn't hug you sooner, right after the game, I mean- I didn't want it to seem like something just for publicity. I wanted us to be.. - real-"
Lisped words tutter softer as their owner burrows his head impossibily deeper into the safety of Scottie's chest (the left side): embarrassed.
Barnes pulls back, Maxey's molars start to tenderize lip fueled from regret, but Barnes makes sure to fix that.
"I think you just wanted a hug after I showered."
With a joke, of course. It was the Scottie Way.
Eyes were rolled despite smiles returning, and hugs were continued despite playoffs being fought.

I can tell my mind isn't quite with it today is it ever bc I was just sitting in a position I needed to avoid so it doesn't injure me for a lot more time than needed even and for some reason didn't decide to stop even when it was hurting
Although I honestly should've already realised my mind wasn't quite with it when I spent ten minutes taking a photo of a bruise on my upper thigh earlier but oh well
#reese rambles#technically it's two bruises and one small kinda bruise#and in my defense they're very dark bruises#and i have no idea how i got them??? like presumably sometime in my sleep but it's so weir#*d. bc they're not my usual finger marks? like not where i usually get my finger bruises#but also they're high up on my upper thigh so really i should've known that would be a hard photo to take at night lol#I'm gonna shut up about my thighs now lol
