CC Show Rugs for Sims 4 Horses
🍂Introducing: SmartPak Luxe Collection🍂
My first attempt at CC! I'm so excited to be sharing these luxurious show rugs.
I've used @objuct's turnout blanket mesh to create two versions of show rugs for all your fancy horse needs!
More info and download links below-
There are two styles of rug available: a quilted and a wool version!
The quilted rug features simlish SmartPak labels and elastic straps, fluffy artificial fleece around the neck, and a leather front strap.
The wool rug features a rope piping border and hip ornaments, an artificial fleece neck, and a leather front strap. Feel free to customize with your own barn name!
This took way too much time and also my sanity while I was trying to learn how to blender. I have SO MUCH respect for all CC creators, especially the amazingly lovely and talented creators in the Sims 4 Horse community!
The cc used here is listed below:
Original blanket mesh and shipping boots by @objuct
Halters and fluff by @emelie-png
Halter and shipping boot recolors by @walnuthillfarm

i'm not some CORPORATE SHILL who pays for STREAMING SERVICES. i only watch OLD VHS TAPES found in the BARGAIN BIN of my local GOODWILL labeled "DAVE'S EPIC STUNTS" and it's just forty five minutes of some guy PRESUMABLY NAMED DAVE attempting an ollie on his bmx bike and EATING DIRT EVERY TIME.

In theory i like the idea that rick is growing and developing as a person. In practice it ends up falling short though, because no one balances him out. rick is getting better while no one else is getting worse, and it causes the whole thing to end up feeling a bit stale. The biggest draw, at least for me, has always been rick and morty's shitty dynamic, but it barely exists anymore because rick has been so watered down.
The ideal solution is literally just to make morty into a bigger asshole. Essentially flipping the main characters' personalities would offer a wide variety of conflict into the show, and would also help keep it "fresh".
Instead it feels the writers are pretending that they can't possibly do anything with morty's character, that they have to keep him the same anxious idiot he was in season one. I've said this before, but it's incredibly frustrating to watch the show have no problem with expanding rick's character while struggling with keeping morty's heavily stagnated characterization consistent. Where rick has space to develop between multiple seasons, morty is constantly forced into one of two boxes (smart/stupid) depending on the episode.

I watched the first four episodes of 'The Buccaneers' and, granted I'm sick right now so I'm probably cutting it a lot of slack, but I hated the first episode, skipped through the second one, but by the third episode I was hooked. It has this tacky Bridgerton-esque exterior, is as bizarre and inaccurate as hell, but it gets SO DARK and I love that. The main character's mother puts doves in golden cages for a ball... and that's it, that's 'The Buccaneers', doves in fucking cages.
It's like the modern music and wild inaccuracies are whispering: "Come closer, child, yes... look at the modern aesthetics, that's right, you want to marry an English lord, do you? So romantic, ahahaha. Yes? Let me teach you about helplessness, let me show you some power dynamics... let's start with a fairytale and then set it on fire."

Truly nothing captures the ofmd fandom quite like someone linking a post critical of the season and saying everyone should use it as a blocklist for Izzy fans who call Ed an abuser (due to lack of media literacy / implied racism)... and then the linked post in question is about how the cycles of abuse arc felt sympathetic in setup but then poorly handled because it doesn't feel like anyone - including Edward - got to escape, and its notes are full of people wishing they hadn't cast him in such a bad light in the early eps if they weren't going to follow through on it because - unsurprisingly - most of them genuinely like Edward (the most popular guy) as a character. 🤷♀️ And do not enjoying feeling like the show dropped the ball on making him hurt other characters and then not show remorse or healing. Because they like him. And want to believe he got the healing arc, the happy ending, and the forgiveness and love of all the other characters they like. BECAUSE THEY LIKE EDWARD.
It is genuinely unthinkable to some of these people that you can interpret the writing as poorly or even unintentionally saying something about a character that you enjoy and criticize that without it just being character hate.

I am so SICK of people saying mirabel was a doormat that “forgave abuela immediately” she didn’t even forgive her?? “nothing can ever be broken that we can’t fix together” seems more like a wow this is a bad situation but I’m willing to let you help me fix it and fix our broken bond too. Like idk I never interpreted that as forgiveness. Some argue that the hug was the forgiveness but I’m pretty sure alma initiated that not mirabel. Also she hugs almost everyone in the movie hugs can have multiple meanings it’s just a form of support.

I added some details to this illustration I started a few months ago. I thought it would be fun to design Ulixes's room
my main idea was to make it both similar and opposite of Steban's, so while his room is clean and simple, maybe Uli is messy and likes to collect more old communist memorabilia. It's a small rented room at some poor part of the city. (Not shown: a wardrobe on the left, and a door on the right.) The colors are based on his portrait so a lot of browns; red and white of course; and some yellow because, Steban (vaguely gestures) and green for contrast.
