The main villain of my dnd campaign, High Priest Leo, is showing some great stuff about his nature to the players! Two out of three players hate his guts, and one specifically would like to “scar his pretty little face”

I think I’m doing great so far. Can’t get all of them to hate his guts, but eh… oh well!

Finished Curse of Strahd yesterday, so I’m going to share my characters for it!

This is Sol Fenworth. A fire genasi bloodhunter with a demon inside him. Very edgy, very homebrew and I later realized… not at all fit for the DM. He’d never done homebrew before, so my super awesome “beast mode” that I’d wanted was reduced to “just another warlock patron.” Luckily, the only time that I did get to beast mode out was when I died. I “voltorbed” as they called it, exploding in a hot light that tore me apart and killed the woman that we were supposed to protect (to be fair, we were already doing an awful job of it). I don’t mind dying this way only because I needed a break. My mental health had dwindled, getting up on Saturday at 4:30AM was not it, the use of the g- word made me uncomfortable even though I knew that it’s a part if the book, and I felt like I was butting heads for a corner of spotlight with the main streamer. But…. it’s implied I’ll get to play him again but better in another campaign arc. (Damn you, shitty image quality)

After a long break, I heard that one of my favorite people, known as Grem in chat, was asked to play. And my brain.. MAN, had it been waiting for an opportunity to play with her. So I rolled up a new character, wanting to make a support character and use a different play-style for streams.

This is Milenka Gestavaro. A human glamour bard. This.. this is a work of beauty. I decided to play a Vistani. I was still a little butthurt with the use of the g-word because I, for being the whitest bitch on the block, have a Rhomani background, which is what the Vistani are based on. They immediately stopped using it when she entered. Of course, their characters weren’t too keen of her, so she stole form them at first (minus the tabaxi, because she was intimidated by something she’d never seen) but after she was caught, the tabaxi, Link, made her make a deal to 1. Not to steal from friends and 2. To come with her and tell her stories. So off they went… later finding out that she had no troupe and it was partially because she had played for The Devil and maybe also satirized him… a lot. We went through a few fights, learned the main paladin dude was a vampire, took revenge for the half-orc’s family so on, maybe pined after a revenant for a second, so on, so forth. She is the reason I now love glamour bards DEARLY because we would have definitely lost the last battle if it weren’t for Mantle of Inspiration. Also she plays a dulcimer, not a traditional instrument, its just for me to enjoy. (That art quality and improvement tho-)

TL;DR: Sol walked so Milenka could run.
